The Recalcitrants
Let us off and search, and find a place
Where yours and mine can be natural lives,
Where no one comes who dissects and dives
And proclaims that ours is a curious case,
That its touch of romance can scarcely grace.
You would think it strange at first, but then
Everything has been strange in its time.
When some one said on a day of the prime
He would bow to no brazen god again
He doubtless dazed the mass of men.
None will recognize us as a pair whose claims
Righteous judgment we care not making;
Who have doubted if breath be worth the taking,
And have no respect for the current fames
Whence the savour has flown while abide the names.
We have found us already shunned, disdained,
And for re-acceptance have not once striven;
Whatever offence our course has given
The brunt thereof we have long sustained.
Well, let us away, scorned, unexplained.

Strange Magic
Youre sailing softly through the sun
In a broken stone age dawn.
You fly so high.
I get a strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic.
Youre walking meadows in my mind,
Making waves across my time,
Oh no, oh no.
I get a strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic.
Oh, Im never gonna be the same again,
Now Ive seen the way its got to end,
Sweet dream, sweet dream.
Strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic.
Its magic, its magic, its magic.
Strange magic,
Oh, what a strange magic,
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic.
Strange magic strange magic
Oh, what a strange magic strange magic
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic.
Strange magic strange magic
Oh, what a strange magic strange magic
Oh, its a strange magic.
Got a strange magic,
Got a strange magic,
You know I got a strange magic,
Yeah, I got a strange magic,
Oo-o-o-oo, strange magic. (fade)

The Cloud Confines
The day is dark and the night
To him that would search their heart;
No lips of cloud that will part
Nor morning song in the light:
Only, gazing alone,
To him wild shadows are shown,
Deep under deep unknown
And height above unknown height.
Still we say as we go,--
"Strange to think by the way,
Whatever there is to know,
That shall we know one day."
The Past is over and fled;
Nam'd new, we name it the old;
Thereof some tale hath been told,
But no word comes from the dead;
Whether at all they be,
Or whether as bond or free,
Or whether they too were we,
Or by what spell they have sped.
Still we say as we go,--
"Strange to think by the way,
Whatever there is to know,
That shall we know one day."
What of the heart of hate
That beats in thy breast, O Time?--
Red strife from the furthest prime,
And anguish of fierce debate;
War that shatters her slain,
And peace that grinds them as grain,
And eyes fix'd ever in vain
On the pitiless eyes of Fate.
Still we say as we go,--
"Strange to think by the way,
Whatever there is to know,
That shall we know one day."
What of the heart of love
That bleeds in thy breast, O Man?--
Thy kisses snatch'd 'neath the ban
Of fangs that mock them above;
Thy bells prolong'd unto knells,
Thy hope that a breath dispels,
Thy bitter forlorn farewells
And the empty echoes thereof?
Still we say as we go,--
"Strange to think by the way,
Whatever there is to know,
That shall we know one day."
The sky leans dumb on the sea,
Aweary with all its wings;
And oh! the song the sea sings
Is dark everlastingly.
Our past is clean forgot,
Our present is and is not,
Our future's a seal'd seedplot,
And what betwixt them are we?--
We who say as we go,--
"Strange to think by the way,
Whatever there is to know,
That shall we know one day."

The real success
With a woman of love
When I talk, I savour her every word,
When I touch, I savour her every part,
And when in foreplay, I savour her every writhing.
The real success of mine lies
In making her savour likewise.

Outside
Seems the time is near for finding a place outside
Seems the time is here for holding the window wide
So Im going to try
To open up one eye
But if the world is too wide
Ill be home to hide
Keep it warm inside, if its strange, outside.
Seems the time has flown, when we lived inside a cloud
Seems the time has gone, when nothing we said was out loud
Going to find a word
Make myself be heard
But if the world is too loud
Ill be home from the crowd
Keep it soft inside, if its strange, outside.
Seems the time has come for banging our feet to the ground
Seems the time has come to see if the world is round
Sweep the smoke away
Reach the earth today
But if the world is all wrong
I wont be staying long
Keep it cool inside, if its strange, outside.

Strange Days
Strange days have found us
Strange days have tracked us down
They're going to destroy
Our casual joys
We shall go on playing
Or find a new town
Yeah!
Strange eyes fill strange rooms
Voices will signal their tired end
The hostess is grinning
Her guests sleep from sinning
Hear me talk of sin
And you know this is it
Yeah!
Strange days have found us
And through their strange hours
We linger alone
Bodies confused
Memories misused
As we run from the day
To a strange night of stone

Strange Feeling
A strange feeling comes in a strange way in a strange package
In a strange color in a strange structure with a strange feature
With a strange nature with a strange behavior
Inside me which I can feel but can't express
As it stands at a distance far away making me helpless.
It breaks in,
Before holding to mold
It goes out
I put a tricky trap
To catch but it tactfully traps the trap
And very fast catches me up.
But it never becomes my very own
Or leaves me to live peacefully alone
It has been doing what it does and doesn't change.
It does always derange me, what a strange?

The Strange Tree
There’s a strange tree which lives near me,
And this strange tree could not agree,
That if this tree could ever see,
A stranger tree it sure would be.
There’s a strange tree which topples me,
For this strange tree was tall, you see,
And then this tree would use its knee,
To break in three, the clouds who flee.
There’s a strange tree which lives near me,
The northern tree, its branches free,
The southern tree, no limb to see,
For this strange tree, was strange, you see?
There’s a strange tree which I can see,
And this strange tree (against my plea)
Was sent to sea, its roots now free,
And now this tree… A ship is he.
End.
Across The Door
THE fiddles were playing and playing,
The couples were out on the floor;
From converse and dancing he drew me,
And across the door.
Ah! strange were the dim, wide meadows,
And strange was the cloud-strewn sky,
And strange in the meadows the corncrakes,
And they making cry!
The hawthorn bloom was by us,
Around us the breath of the south
White hawthorn, strange in the night-time
His kiss on my mouth!

Once Given the Opportunity
Isn't it strange how time changes,
Events?
And participants!
Those who once were considered fools...
Look less foolish,
Than those who carry superior attitudes.
How stupid can intelligent beings be?
To not foresee their selfishness,
And hypocrisies bleed!
Isn't it strange how time changes,
Moments?
And the momentum of those decadent!
Available cash seem for them decreasing.
And a self worth of some,
Leave them crumbling and stunned!
Isn't it strange how time changes,
Respect?
Those once neglected,
Find they are no longer the only ones dejected!
There is a sense of an ending of nonsense!
But those who have been offended and victimized...
Aren't will to compensate their dignities,
To appear with those who have now been exposed...
To be low life with human qualities!
A heart that has been pure...
Has no empathy for those of conscious misdeeds!
Isn't it strange how time changes,
And rearranges...
Dangers.
And those we believed were just 'weakened' strangers!
'Treat others as you wish to have them treat you!
You never know which 'treats' they prefer to enjoy...
Once given the opportunity! '

A confession of a pearl dealer
Where I am lost in transaction of cash,
Where mobiles ring and the deal is done,
I know by heart the heart of all pearls
And search always for the back with flaws
With eyes of profit and loss facing
The front.
Too busy, I never learnt to find real time
For me to just be and understand the inner
Meaning of life and the underside of my being,
Woven to the terror in my mind.
I don't know who I am save bear a business name.
It seems strange almost as strange as I'll be,
Some day.Shall I be left forgotten in the dust
When the flower which has a touch of earth
And no sublime feelings, revives?
If I'll search for myself, I'll certainly
Find the rarest of pearl-ME.

With and Without a Show of Interest
What is it that I want from you?
Consistency!
Since I've been giving that,
For as long as I can remember.
With and without a show of interest.
Or a sign of gratitude from you.
Why am I doing this...
And at my own expense?
It is an investment of patience.
And soon,
I am going to relax and enjoy the dividends.
And while you make the same excuses,
You have chosen to do...
Consistency I wished and wanted from you,
Might take place in my memory.
But don't bet on it!
I've been too motivated to prove to myself,
All I need is discipline and focus to achieve.
And...
Well,
I was hoping you would recognize that too!
Since I only have one pair of sleeves I keep rolled up...
I'm not trying to devote my attention all over the place.
Especially if my business,
Is taking care of it!
And not in persistent excuse making.

Strange Days
Sometimes we have strange days
when you are going somewhere
you have been countless times before.
As you drive down the roads,
it is as if it is the first time you have been there.
Arriving at your destination
everyone you see reminds you of someone else
in a different place many miles from where you are.
With some, it is the way they walk,
in others the ways they do their hair.
Strange days when nothing
seems the way it should be.
You journey through the day
as if you’re walking in a dream,
all the time wondering
when reality is going to kick in.
How will you feel tomorrow
when you wake to a new day,
will it be as strange as the one
you experienced today.
Only tomorrow knows
and its secrets it is not giving up
to you or anyone else.
Until the day is over more strange things
you may uncover
on what I call strange days
that happen occasionally in our lives.

Death The Great Equalizer
Some die of natural causes some in a tragic way
But for every single one of us a final night and day
Without respect for the power of wealth and without respect for fame
Death the great equalizer treats everyone as the same
Without respect for anyone or creatures great or small
The billionaires of the World to the Reaper's scythe do fall
At least the one who does claim every life promotes equality
Amongst the wealthy of the World and those in poverty
Some live on to a ripe old age and some die in their prime
And some even die as children they are not granted much time
Not ageist or discriminatory in any way
He claims the lives of the very young and those who are old and gray
He's a true egalatarian of him one can only say
And for each and everyone of us a final night and day.

Once She Takes Them Away And Leaves
Does anyone find it mysterious and strange,
That when Mother Nature pays a surprise visit...
She is less impressed where one lives.
Or how exquisite one's home is.
Or the status they have.
OR educational degrees.
Does anyone believe Mother Nature grieves,
Over those who have 'achieved' complete selfishness.
Does anyone find it mysterious and strange,
That Mother Nature could care less...
Who is entitled and remains,
With thoughts they are better than the rest with less.
Does anyone find it mysterious and strange,
That Mother Nature could care less...
Who worships 'things' and is left distressed,
Once She takes them away and leaves.

A Part Of The Whole
For years the clouds had engulfed you
and I often looked to see where you were.
At times I doubted your very existence,
but then I sensed that you were there.
I was standing in an overcrowded room
where no one had a face,
but then an overwhelming feeling of closeness
was inexplicably taking place.
Through the chatter of the unknown faces
I sensed someone was searching for me,
but I was blind in this mass of strangers
and this searcher I just couldn't see.
I began to doubt my sense of intuition,
until the clouds let through the sun.
It was then that I saw you looking at me,
and you shone through everyone.
All around you had vanished in silence,
we became alone in time and space.
We shared the uniqueness of those few seconds
and I knew they could never be replaced.
I'd never experienced such a happening,
my breath faltered when I felt your touch.
You lifted me far above the earthly clouds,
no one should dare to ask so much.
I had no idea where you would take me,
and to be honest I didn't care.
My lungs were filled for the very first time,
I now feel a part of everywhere.

Firewalker
My hopes are like embers lying around inside a firebed and
Your mind is a firewalker, it steps on them like they are dead but
I can grow
In spite of all you know
You might not recognize me tomorrow
Yes I can change
In spite of all they say
Become something strange and beautiful
Like joy, like joy
Me, I'm like a wild flame that catches on whatever's near but
Your mind is a firewalker, it sets its course and never veers but
I can grow
In spite of all you know
You might not recognize me tomorrow
Yes I can change
In spite of all they say
Become something strange and beautiful
Like joy, like joy
Take offers from every side and give my attentions about anywhere well
Do I recognize my actions, I look like I'm so unaware like
I don't care
But I can grow
In spite of all you know
You might not recognize me tomorrow
Yes I can change
In spite of all they say
Become something strange and beautiful
Like joy, like joy

The Righteous And The Unrighteous
The righteous and the unrighteous, God sends down rain on both of us.
And all men my friend, are but dust, and Christ alone is Righteousness.
Blessings are poured down from Him, on those who turn from their sin.
Why do the wicked seem to flourish, when God they don’t even cherish?
But this, the Age of Grace my friend, for all the wicked soon shall end.
God’s Wrath shall then be poured, on all who chose to reject The Lord.
This is a time for all men to embrace, The God above the Age of Grace.
So God will save them from the path, of Christ’s future Righteous Wrath.
Righteousness is only found in Him, in Jesus Christ who died for our sin.
The love for man is why Christ came, to save men from the eternal flame.
And friend only through Jesus Christ, can a sinner enter into Eternal Life.
For it was totally of God’s Grace, that on the cross Christ took our place.
Friend, when this Age of Grace is done, every eye shall see God’s Son.
And that will be the end of all sin, when Righteous Judgment will begin.
When all of those who would not trust, Jesus Christ shall return to dust.
Men, who delighted in wickedness, will be destroyed by Righteousness.
For only Righteousness shall remain, when Jesus Christ comes to reign.
Friend there will be no wicked fool, under Jesus Christ’s Righteous Rule.
They shall all be dealt with friend, with a Righteousness that has no end.
For in The Kingdom, there’s no place, for those who reject God’s Grace.
The Boy Feels Strange
And he looks at me in wonder
And he looks at me in fear
Wrestling with his anger
His pride and stony tears
To place me in his life
Will be hard and slow
Does he want it need it
I might never know
The boy feels strange
Oh the boy has changed
Looking from my tower
I can see his fortress strong
Surrounded by his army
Where do I belong
Does he ever find the answers
In the cars as they go by
Does he ever want to ask me why
The boy feels strange
Oh the boy has changed
And he's seen with all the women
Who think that he's a god
And he blesses whom he pleases
Holding fast to the facade
I want to reach out and believe him
Through his miles and miles of pain
But lately when I touch him
The boy feels strange
And he speaks to me of business
When I ask him how he's been
Keeps me at a distance
Never getting under skin
Can he make a new beginning
Does he even want to try
Or will he only let it die
The boy feels strange
Oh the boy feels strange
