In Absentia
My existance 'tis oft' times questioned
Seemingly lacking in presence of mind
Yet abreast of all necessary import
I am oft' elusive and difficult to find;
Without my assuring words of adoration
Lacking my gentle nod of assent
Totally void of the wink of my eye
Leaves some totally incenced;
Privacy 'tis my needful armor
Leaving me oft' times simply away
At times i am overwhelmed by too much attention
Seems these walls have ears yet today;
In a world of back handed abuse
Where connections make this world ever small
I truly am getting quite fed up
With the Electrical Guru's gall;
So, if fear 'twas what they were looking for
Intimidation-by their so-called being everywhere
I will not be their long suffering victim
As i promise to strip their reality bare;
In the meantime, i will again withdraw unto shelter
I will again absent my place: ' on the air'

Halitosis
My mind seems to want to find you,
In times when my thoughts...
Wander and stray.
And I am not fine with that at all.
Since those days of togetherness...
Have long gone away.
I would say hello to you...
If I knew you would do the same.
Just to acknowledge your presence.
And nothing else would I wish to obtain.
But I have no desire for that to occur.

Ungrateful world
I may be called unfaithful
If I say "world is ungrateful"
"People are unresponsive"
"Despite my being obedient and submissive"
"Tit for tat" some one advised
Withdraw even if promised
You can't survive in this selfish world
Never show warmth and be cool or cold
So many sets of arguments were presented
I had given enough of thoughts but really not consented
They were to be called irresponsible
Yet very much practical to save you from the troubles
I am not seer or saint here to profess
But certainly happiness comes when you confess
Go to wall and earnestly ask for forgiveness on any mistake
It may be heard and responded to provide you strong intake
"Sir, can we be of any help to you" how do we feel?
When someone remembers you and comes for help at will
I am overwhelmed at their gesture and feel elated
As I am of the conviction that good work always remain related
People don't forget your noble past
Even though situation may turn very fast
You may be put in difficult situation to pull on
But help certainly comes forward without made known
Every action has got its equal reaction
It need not be proved for any addition or subtraction
It is beyond doubt and rules for all the times
Love is paid in same coin even in bad times

My country is in ruins
My country is in ruins,
it’s a place that here and there is falling to pieces,
the decline is clearly visible
and the home of almost every white family is a fortress.
Maybe the writing is on the wall,
maybe people who pillage,
at a time will be send out in thousands,
to murder and rob as they did from their prehistory
and time and again I wonder
how long the peace can last?
Sometimes it looks as if integrity
is totally lacking from your fellow man,
as if every one wants to take revenge
for one or other reason,
as if people only living themselves
but maybe compassion is still hidden somewhere?
How much I want things to be different,
and I am longing for a place in the sun of my own,
to talk my own language, to live out my own culture
and at times to express my own thoughts.
Still there is a sun shining in the heaven,
clouds do still disappear at times before the blue;
people still have got dreams, love and ambitions,
are living their lives in happiness, joy, sorrow and pain.
