Allegory
It's an all too common allegory
Pressed from the hands of time
Lent out silent praised theme
Careless whispers never hard to find
With redeeming qualities fading
An elevation of angers hot glow
Bitterness is the totality it's framing
Seperating rightous victims who know
Blazing through their transparent veils
The blame is countered with denial
Running rapidly from the inner problem's core
Slowing down but for a little while
At last catching up to the blameworthy
Who brazenly sit atop the Moon
Arrogantly still in denial
Their rude awakening is coming soon

How Can I? 2
stuck in my room,
another day i feel trapped,
doing what i don't want to do,
can't excape it,
you want to cut,
because it was your only
way out,
how can i continue to live?
with a life,
that has so many problem,
how can i tell my deepest problem,
when i know where they will lead me,
but, is it better than the place i
am now?
how can i find the strenght,
to get the help that i need?
when it so hard to accept,
that you were wrong,
after a whole year,
but, it better late than never,
wouldn't you say,
i'm tiried ot ending in the same place,
over and over,
because of stubborness,
when it just holding me back,
from doing what needs to get done,
but i'm left asking,
how can i change what i don't like?
when you on the thin line of,
reality and denial,
reality is hard to face,
while denial,
tells you what you want to hear,
but, than again,
that's the only reason i keep asking,
how can i?

Denial
Denial is a river I know so well
For it flows deep in my veins.
It’s my partner when lonely,
Defender in conflict and doctor for my pains.
This river of tears cleanses my ears
So I can hear what I need.
Its current sucks under those who wonder
And all who’ve disagreed.
With denial I can defend myself
Against each who seems a fool.
For theirs is the problem, the error,
The fault and I’m the one to rule.
Waves of denial splash at my face,
Forcing a flaccid smile.
Torrents of liquid numb my space.
Then nothing hurts for a while.
Denial is my river. It serves me well.
It’s the only refuge I’ve found.
Though my greatest fear while swimming here
Is that who I was has drowned.

Cleopatra, Queen Of Denial
(pam tillis/bob dipiero/jan buckingham)
(track 7 - time 3:13)
Well I said he had a lot of potential
He was only misunderstood
You know he didnt really mean to treat me so bad
He wanted to be good
And I swore one day I would tame him
Even though he loved to run hog wild
Just call me cleopatra everybody, cause Im the queen of denial
I knew he didnt have any money
Yeah thats why he couldnt buy me a ring
Oh and just because he bought himself a brand new pickup truck
Really didnt prove anything
And he never had to say he loved me
I could see it every time he smiled
Just call me cleopatra everybody, cause Im the queen of denial
Oh queen of denial, buyin all his alibis
Queen of denial, floatin down a river of lies
Well Im not gonna jump to conclusions
Or throw away this perfect romance
Even though I caught him dancin last night
With a girl in a leopard skin pants
Yeah, hes probably stuck in traffic
And hell be here in a litte while
Just call me cleopatra everybody, cause Im the queen of denial
Oh queen of denial, buyin all his alibis
Queen of denial, just floatin down a river of lies

The Biggest Disaster
What 'is' unfortunate?
The capitalization of the word DENIAL.
And the tremendous affect the act of it,
Has had on the millions of those who have been shown...
A protection from truth will produce for them a reality.
And a denial pursued is what all should do!
However,
In the doing...
Denial 'now' has become too huge of a magnitude,
To disregard...
As the biggest disaster ever allowed to be created,
Humanity has come to face!

The Last Flight
there is always a reason why a man cannot
cease writing
there is that denial of what was there a long time ago
it sits there like a statue
beside the door of the house
where the window is always closed
there is always a reason why the words keep flowing
like a river
why the river is always filled with running water
despite the drought
you see the bones of cows
the dust of the sands in the desert
it was once an oasis
where date palms abound where women bathe
with their men
where they make love
under the crescent moon
there is always a reason that you know
but you do not tell
but which i will always deny
as truth
it is this denial that keeps my hands going
like soldiers ready for a kill in that theater of war
it is this roaring lion that does not bite
that keeps me
in fear that keeps me speaking inside myself
there is no one here
there is no wall anymore
the winds are waiting with all the wings of the dead birds
it is ready
i am undressing
this is the flight.

Decided to Find the Core
When I awakened my last time from deep denial,
I decided to clear my eyes of wants.
And focused on just my needs.
I began to eliminate excess.
I rid my life of annoying pests and agitation.
I decided to find the core of my happiness.
Obstacles became more determined,
Not to see me succeed.
My path became blocked with foolishness.
Until...
I began to see things for what they were.
Even though they tormented me to see them differently.
When I awakened my last time from deep denial,
I decided to clear my eyes of wants.
And focused on just my needs.
Today...
Everything I'm wanting has become a daily desire.
And I thank the Almighty with excitement every morning.

Scars
Those who suffer scars outside
Are afflicted since they can't hide.
But they likely confront reality
Since their appearance is there to see.
In turn most learn it's not what is seen,
Since actions determine what life will mean.
Whereas those harboring scars inside
Can't be treated when they've denied
That there's anything wrong…
Until the next crisis comes along.
Then it's the world that's marred…
Not them since they have worked hard.
Scars of denial, insecurity and hate
Are like open wounds that never abate.
These marks take their greatest toll
Surreptitiously hidden, destroying soul.
Sadder are innocent victims that suffer;
Unscarreds exposed to denial with no buffer.

Denial
Denial
Isn't that it - denial?
But know that I love you
And know that it's true
And pure and soulful,
Just beautiful!
But
It's spilling over,
Spilling over,
Spilling over,
Spilling over into desire;
Desire to touch you,
Desire to hold you,
And that just wouldn't do!
Hence I fear
I fear for the purity,
I fear for the soulfulness;
So do I choose to
Live the lonesomeness
Of
Denying
Denying
Denying
Your eyes?

Denial
You are my only daughter, I guess I made you twice
You look inside my other, hell give you bad advice
I will tell you Im ok, but deep inside Im afraid
I dont drink holy water, Im not a son of christ
I aint no black messiah, and I dont load my dice
You can tell me youre all right, but why you so afraid?
Youre in denial, you never will believe its you
Denial, you always hide behind the truth
Youll never believe it, you never believe its you
I dont think Im amazing. in fact Im quite insane
To live inside my bucket, with all my plastic chains
People tell me every time, I look at the wron all right
Youre in denial, you never will believe its you
Denial, you always hide behind the truth
Youll never believe it, you never believe its you
Youll never believe it, you never believe it
Secrets told you, dreamland holds you, secrets told you
You wouldnt believe it, you couldnt conceive it
Secrets told you...
You wanna receive it, you gotta believe its you
Youre on a trip already, Im tripping out alright
Ill get there slow and steady, just sit and hold on tight
Denial, you never will believe its you
Denial, you always hide behind the truth
Denial, you never will believe its you
Denial, you always hide behind the truth, yeah, yeah
Behind the truth, yeah, yeah
Its true, yeah, yeah
Behind the truth, yeah, yeah
Its you, yeah, yeah
Behind the truth, yeah, yeah
Its gonna be alright, just hold on thight
Its gonna be alright, just hold on thight

Compulsion 6
you say you will not do it
never again
this sickness this sickening thing
inside you
you smile
you breathe
your stomach begins to deliver a speech
this cannot be
denial, denial, denial of the natural color of your hair
one that blends
with your skin
one that speaks the words that your tongue
has been keeping
the one that you hide
and pretend it is not there
it grows
and becomes big and so visible
you knife it out
never shall it heal
this wound this life
this is what you are
and ever shall be
forever, and yet you keep it hidden
funny, because they are all seeing it
and speaking about it
it seems, you are the only one
mute, deaf, blind and so dumb

Hard To Find
Look around, look around you answers
(Someone tell me)
Where can I, where can I find faith again
(Can you help me?)
Im running aimless just to
Try to and find a place to belong
I try explaining, but the words are
Always coming out wrong
Theres so much more to myself than this
And its so hard to find
And its so hard to find
I know youre out there
Closer now, close than Ive ever been
(To being too far gone)
Running out, running out of you again
(Can you fuel me?)
Im numb and painless
Just to keep me feeling nothing at all
I try in vain but nothing seems
To be working at all
And its so hard to find
It takes so long to get things right
And its so hard to find
I know youre out there
Theres so much more to myself than this
I know theres more to myself than this
And its so hard to find
And its so hard to find
So hard to find
It takes so long to get things right
And its so hard to find
I know youre out there
I know youre out there
Somewhere out there

Not Accepting the Obvious
Denial has the capability,
To drag pity around...
In various unique places.
And with a standard of performance set,
Prepared to stir the heart.
Denial has the capability,
To remove truth from memory.
Excuse an alcoholic,
And supply any drug one wishes.
Denail has the capability,
To deceive oneself to hide the truth...
And live a life of lies.
Denial has the capability...
Of not accepting the obvious.
'Thank you for your beautiful performance.
Yes...
Her death was premature and done by natural causes..
She was loved by millions.'
~Loving to hear her voice.
But...
How can anyone be blind to the fact,
She was killing it intentionally.~
Denial has the capability...
Of not accepting the obvious.
But enjoys every detail of pain.

Running From Yourself
As people say you can run but you damn sure can’t hide, if you are running from yourself....
Your problems and who you are STOP where you stand you have nowhere to go.
There is no rock to hide under, no hills to climb into; the answer should be very clear once you stop and search within.
Running from yourself only brings you pain as it clouds the mind and shakes up the brain.
Who are you?
Where shell you go?
Click your heels together for there is no place like home.
We are in a time frame where we no longer face what is wrong or fix the problem, no we will walk away so fast as our feet will allow as if it has never existed.
Running from yourself should make you tried for the end of your road is near. Soon you will have too look in the mirror, look at the person who is looking back at you and facing your fears that you have been running from for so many years.
We as people assume that it’s hard then what it really is. The question you should start with is.
do you love yourself? Why are you running?
Running from yourself only causes more problems then what it is worth, you start with placing the blame on other people then yourself, your had a hard life, your childhood was bad, your lost dreams, your children..
Your lover even the man in the moon STOP! ! Please just STOP and let it go for the bible tells us if you search you shell find; search your heart for peace of mind

The denial of our duty to act in this case is a denial of our right to act; and if we have no right to act, then may we well be termed the white slaves of the North, for like our brethren in bonds, we must seal our lips in silence and despair.

Peace in Glow
Think of birds with flying colors-
find and feel its immense pleasure,
flying not for any earthly bargain
sky pastures peace, hardly any pain.
Eyes catching up thy show,
peace found in subtle glow!
Sun pops out with silent splash,
spilling red of rinsing paintbrush.
The dawn and dusk palette same hue-
peace newborn pays the end its due.
Minds catching up thy show
peace found in subtle glow!
Buds’ hinting promise of colours
blooming into splendorous flowers
call us all to the peace divine
just to be attuned and be aligned.
Hearts catching up thy show
peace found in subtle glow!
Visions of innocent beauties -
non ephemeral joys in plenty,
cognizance has to be treasured –
precious gifts beyond any measure.
Souls catching up thy show
peace found in subtle glow!

Even Those Paid to Be Biased
People are awakening to realize,
They've been played.
Even those paid to be biased,
To spy on others...
Find they've been set up,
To sit and quack like feathered ducks.
Eyes all over the place,
Are opening wide to see...
Exactly who those victims are.
And recognizing everyday,
The identity of the wolves.
And knowing they've been branded as sheep.
People are awakening to realize,
They've been played.
Even those paid to be biased,
To spy on others...
Find they've been set up,
To sit and quack like feathered ducks.
And the ones who tremble and shake in their limousines,
Find they feel desperate not to be revealed, caught or seen.
Afraid their deceiving and greedy days,
Rapidly lose in snob appeal and popularity.
And in their social circles they sweat, yes!
All of them are suffering in nervous regret!
People are awakening to realize,
They've been played.
Even those paid to be biased,
To spy on others...
Find they've been set up,
To sit and quack like feathered ducks.
