What We Did At The Beach House....
it is freedom day for me
it is Thursday,
we enter the gate to the beach
fresh winds, green coconut palms
sea grass and white foams,
sea waves and slushy sands,
the octagonal cottage and the
bamboo tables and chairs,
stone silent on the table
collected by you,
we are here for no other agenda
except to feel the freshness of air
recounting those younger years
and then savor our sweet silence

When ‘cross my lips, a stillness creeps

Coconut Miracle
A coconut bobbed upon the waves
and alighted softly on the sands
of the shore. Years later there
were many coconut palms on the
island. They provided milk for babies,
nut fiber for others, oil for lamps,
coconut shells for dishes, lauric
acid for meditation. Lifegiving
little lakes of milk unstolen from
an animal protected by a hard shell
as transform into heaven
slaughterhouse hells.

The Playful Breeze's Pleasant Acts
The playful Breeze touching me softly passes on;
Tells sweet tales in hush-hush voice in my ears;
Removes all my weariness with its healing hugs;
Calls me to close my eyes to sing my dear melodies;
Plucks all my stresses to toss away off its way;
To every tree it does have a story full of joy;
The peepul tree laughs heartily clapping its million palms;
The neem tree tosses up its bushy boughs bursting forth in glee;
Enjoys on the swings of sky-scrapping coconut trees;
Plants sweet kisses on the lips of all tiny blooms;
Dances merrily clasping the hands of tender creepers;

The myrtles glisten green and bright,
