Seer? ? ?

Again my visions are hidden- (behind 3rd eye)
Again springs of water burst forth-
Tucked in the depths of my silent wall...
Heads are turned once again to the 'North'

Again-happier days begin to arrive...
Again sadder days slowly fade away;
As we all drink from the 'Angels' most loving cup-
'The Boatman', at last, allows his sails- in the wind to sway;

Again the fever comes calling unto me...
Again it knocks upon my very door...
And the visions once so deeply hidden to obscure-
Are alive- much like a cloud aburst-my tears just pour;

Knowing without really knowing how...
This once sorrow of truth churns inside of me-
Fast forwarding me to future times...? ? ?
My despondency 'tis tossed to the mighty sea;

Each Day As It Comes

We take each day as it comes
never knowing what we might find.
Some days are filled with sunshine
that brightens up our lives.
Some days are filled with rain
in these we feel life’s pain.
Some days are golden
filled with a warm loving glow
that fills us from head to toe.
Some days are black
when sorrow is rife
and we shed tears through the night.
Always me must take
each day as it comes
never knowing what we might find.
Making the most of what we get
as each day marches through.
We must live our life for now
and take tomorrow when it comes.
Holding on to what we have
for as long as we can.

Welcome To The Door Of Freedom

this is the door of freedom
you just got in
i have a room beyond this room
no one has entered yet
between this door and my room
is a space
this is where some pieces of my are left
but soon they will be taken back
to be kept inside my palms
to be hidden once again from you

when you get in
you will be introduced to the ritual of knowing
what you do not know
what you cannot know
what shall be hidden forever from you
and you shall be a little bit
disappointed

but you must insist
you have to repeat your name many times
you will sort out the letters
there are onions and chilies
they will make you cry

and then you will wish upon another door
this time it is your door
towards your own room
you will doubt about breathing
about windows and exits
and then you begin to ask
if all these are worth it

you decide.

Pass Away

Watch the world pass away,
As time does, day to day.
Nothing changing as lives move on.

Listen to the sounds the tears make,
As they fall because of everything at stake,
Keep in mind the pain that raises those tears from sorrows eye.

Remember the voices of the people past,
The things they did, the things they said, will always last.
Broken prescripts laying against the backdropp of damp Earth.

Wrap your arms around their ghost,
For to their spirit and memory we toast,
From goblets of their sweet, sour blood we drink.

Embrace their once unreal visions,
As they are now what form our own decisions,
For their dreamed fantasies have now become the future's reality.

Drape yourself in the blanket woven by those preceding,
Lay your head upon the bed, lay, your body bleeding,
Blood of your own deception, your blank and hidden naivety.

Let your silent cries flow like water in a river of truth,
Spread the knowledge of the pasts grief and strife's to the youth,
Teach them how the lives of people have been shaped, molded by tears.

Walk through life with your head held high,
Til one day you too will fade into history and ride to the sky,
Live through what others have provided, teach, learn, and live!

Kneel before the feet of fate,
Begin the future you will create,
Becoming one who came before, another soul of time.

Carry on the weight of people gone,
Move their sight from night to dawn,
Keep them alive with the strength you hold.

Watch the world pass away,
As time does, day to day,
And slowly watch, them fade to gray.

There ARE Times...

There are many times I feel fully confused
And there are other times I feel completely amused
There are days I feel entirely alone
And there are feelings hidden that just can’t be shown
There is a moment that just feels like the end
By which not your mother can help neither can a friend
There are days that are just impossible to let go
Days that can disappear by just one blow
There are years that pass by so fast
Not attentive on how long you’ll truly last
There are seconds by which a person can attain
Not knowing if his actions will mislay or justly gain
There is always a time to try to forget all the bad
And start to remember all the great and exhilarating times you had.

Lament

Where are those dazzling hills touched by the sun,
Those crags in childhood that I used to climb?
Hidden, hidden under mist is yonder mountain,
Hidden is the heart.

A day of cloud, a lifetime falls between,
Gone are the heather moors and the pure stream,
Gone are the rocky places and the green,
Hidden, hidden under sorrow is yonder mountain,
Hidden, hidden.

O storm and gale of tears, whose blinding screen
Makes weather of grief, snow's drifting curtain
Palls th'immortal heights once seen.
Hidden, hidden is the heart,
Hidden, hidden is the heart.

Knowing Me, Knowing You

No more carefree laughter
Silence ever after
Walking through an empty house, tears in my eyes
Here is where the story ends, this is goodbye
Knowing me, knowing you (ah-haa)
There is nothing we can do
Knowing me, knowing you (ah-haa)
We just have to face it, this time were through
(this time were through, this time were through
This time were through, were really through)
Breaking up is never easy, I know but I have to go
(I have to go this time
I have to go, this time I know)
Knowing me, knowing you
Its the best I can do
Memries (memries), good days (good days), bad days (bad days)
Theyll be (theyll be), with me (with me) always (always)
In these old familiar rooms children would play
Now theres only emptiness, nothing to say
Knowing me, knowing you (ah-haa)
There is nothing we can do
Knowing me, knowing you (ah-haa)
We just have to face it, this time were through
(this time were through, this time were through
This time were through, were really through)
Breaking up is never easy, I know but I have to go
(I have to go this time
I have to go, this time I know)
Knowing me, knowing you
Its the best I can do

I Remember who I lost

Like sad days I couldn’t stand,
or past loss I felt so sorrow,
I remember who I lost.

They were everything in my day, always in my heart.
I loved them and they loved me, but some where in time,
things happened.

I got caught up in confusion through my inner unconsciousness,
they were lost in the winds of circumstance.
Alone and betrayed came the ocean of tears and mark of mindlessness, all was a complete loss.

Ripped into deep things of paradox,
drifted once again past the safety line.
Even these words cry, as I set them in type,
knowing that it was everyone’s lack that brought about this smack,
that punished us all.

Again and again I loose them over and over as each light of day becomes light. When I see my eye’s in mirror I see them as living specters of love, that fade after the days concerns grip onto me.

At days end I take the steps slowly to another night that they will visit me in dreams almost like visions, crying at their presence, once again to know they are not here… with me.

I can’t find the right words to say the loss,
gravity of these heavy thought,
as I remember who I loss.

Two Days From Knowing

(gillian welch/matt rollings)
Now the nights turned pink
On the eastern edges
But the sky is cold and still
And I wonder if its the sunrise
Warning the desert
Or the lights of tucson from over the hill
Its a hard way to love you
This long distance romance
Always stopping and starting again
I dont mind the miles
When im out on the highway
But even when im with you the miles just dont end
And im two days from knowing
Whether I can be strong
If I spend one more night in your arms
So ive a mind to keep going
And drive right past your door
But im two days from knowing for sure
As the night closes down
It fills the horizon
And stretches it out at the seams
And im not sure if tomorow
Im gonna be any closer
To closing the distance between you and me
And im two days from knowing
Whether I can be strong
If I spend one more night in your arms
So ive a mind to keep going
And drive right past your door
But im two days from knowing for sure
Well ive a mind to keep going
And drive right past your door
But im two days from knowing for sure

Turn To Gold

SHINE!
I don't know why
all the fiction of your sleeping
doesn't visit you awake
I don't know how to get your storybook sunrise
to follow you above your cloudy day
all these gifts you left on you
with heaven painted on you
i wish this now with all my soul
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
terrified the world will never turn to look at you
and the sun won't see you shine
she'll resign for rose cooked blush just from your smiling
let the water form a cry
only better luck should greet you
the road should rise to meet you
i wish this now with all i know
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
loose inside your winter
feel the cold wind blowing
cutting through your head and through your ears
feel the fire growing
no more frozen danger
no more wrteched ice storm fear
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold
may all your visions turn to gold
to have and hold
may all your visions turn to gold

Verity

The whole truth is tucked in tiny holes...

And what mattered little- matters most-

Alas, time is ticking away once again-

And too many times-the Bully boasts;

But we have known better days...

Where hidden truths have been exposed...

Where Angels are really hypocrites...

And are no longer disguised by camouflage clothes;

Even when the taste of truth 'tis bitter...

And time seems to have lost its tick...

We recognize that a tale told by an idiot...

Will invariably make an innocent persons heart sick;

So, we say enough of this woe-

Over and over and over again-

Yet it is still too soon to know-

Where the whole truth has really been;

Thoughts and Visions

Thoughts and visions pass my way
in the twilight of my years.
I hold tightly to all of them
and try to hold back tears.

I long for them to never leave
and escape my memory.
I take great pleasure in them all
and never want to be

unable to keep them tucked away
and faced with vacant space.
Thoughts and visions are what I need.
They're like a warm embrace.

Memories of days that brought me you
and love was there for the taking.
Memories of nights that lingered
when love was in the making.
Memories of birthing both my sons
and experiencing the pain of joy.
Memories of the lyrical sounds
that were infused inside my soul.
And memories of sun filled days
to take away the cold.

I could go on and on with these
as my years do pass.
And express my thanks for all of them
and pray they always last.

Hard Times

(stephen foster)
Let us pause in lifes pleasures and count its many tears
While we all sup sorrow with the poor.
Theres a song that will linger forever in our ears,
Oh, hard times, come again no more
tis the song, the sigh of the weary.
Hard times, hard times, come again no more.
Many days you have lingered all around my door.
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
While we seek mirth and beauty and music light and gay.
There are frail forms fainting at the door
Though their voices are silent, their pleading looks will say,
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
tis the song, the sigh of the weary.
Hard times, hard times, come again no more.
Many days you have lingered all around my door.
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
Theres a pale drooping maiden who foils her life away
With a worn out heart, whose better days are oer.
Though her voice it would be merry, tis sighing all the day,
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
tis the song, the sigh of the weary.
Hard times, hard times, come again no more.
Many days you have lingered all around my door.
Oh, hard times, come again no more.
tis the song, the sigh of the weary.
Hard times, hard times, come again no more.

Visions

Chorus:
Visions - Can't you see my friend
Visions - Here is my wonderland
Visions - Come and take my hand
Visions - I know you understand
Vers 1:
Come into my world, come and take your destiny
- Here is your discovery
Imagine places, where your dreams can come alive
- Knowing you will soon arrive
Bridge 1:
What you see is not a dream
And not another mystic moovie scene
Your senses scream, a love supreme
Sounds and colours reveal in steam - like
Vers 2:
Envision my world, where there is no war or hate
- We will never loose our faith
If you believe then you don't have to justify
- Sometimes there is no wrong or right
Bridge 2:
So can't you see, what I see
And everybody use your fantasy
A place for you, a place for me
Today we gonna live in harmony - like
Rap:
I tell you what you see is not a dream
And not another mystic moovie scene
Your senses scream, a love supreme
Sounds and colours reveal in steam

Im Alive

Your hands were covered in paint
The pillow smothered my cry
You were half charmer half snake
I lived in dreamtime
But Im alive
I survived you
And the bitter taste
The years I wasted
All the hate is gone
cause Im alive
Some nights Id sleep in the car
Just to escape you
You drove devotion too far
No-one could save you
But Im alive
I survived you
And the bitter taste
The years I wasted
All the hate is gone
cause Im alive
I still have visions of you
I still have nights to get through
And when the trust isnt true
I have these visions of you
I have these visions of you
And Im alive
I survived you
And the bitter taste
The years I wasted
All the hate is gone
cause Im alive
Im alive
Im alive
Ride on and fade away
Im alive
Theres nothing more to say
Im alive
Ride on and fade away
Im alive
Theres nothing more to say
Im alive
Ride on and fade away
And the bitter taste
The years I wasted
All the hate is gone

The Vision Was Quite Clear

The vision was quite clear.
At first, it began with a map.
I was walking in a forest.
I was holding the map in my hands.
Then a wall appeared in front of me,
Stopping me abruptly, halting my journey.
Another wall appeared to my left.
Another wall appeared to my right.
Another wall appeared behind me.
I was trapped and without help I would die.
Above me, I heard something.
An angel flew overhead.
'Help me out of here! ' I asked.
He smiled, 'You do not understand.'
It seemed I must stay awhile.
A few days passed by without release.
I was so hungry yet all I had was the map.
The angel suggested I eat the map.
'How else will you stay alive? ' he asked.
But I knew God gave me the map.
I must not eat it for it still had worth.
'I will wait upon the Lord to deliver me! '
The angel smiled and then came the miracle.
Both his wings fell off and fell to me.
'Put them on! ' said the angel.
'You have passed the first test! '
I put the wings upon my back.
I flew upwards to thank him.
The angel accepted my thanks.
In seconds, he disappeared.
I was alone, yet now I could fly.
I flew to the top of the mountain.
I built an altar and worshipped the Lord.
A white cloud appeared above me.
Lightning flashed and burnt my wings.
I was merely a man once more...
Yet I was happy being so close to God.
Knowing I was loved was enough.
Knowing I still had the map for my journey.
Then I heard the voice of God.
'Visions and prophecies, wisdom and love.
All these I will give unto you.
You are My child, adopted forever.
Obey Me and I will bless you... forever...'

Sweetest Days Ever Known

Sitting in McDonald's
Watching my youngest / last
Frolic in the 'playland'.
I consume coffee, she drinks in simple joy.
Knowing full well
How so soon and suddenly
These days will sadly be all through;
I've seen the days
Quickly come and go,
I see adulthood, like a lion, charging us...

A repeat of when my first / oldest
Stopped playing in those children's
Care-free days and ways.
- Though I must confess
Whenever she still calls me 'daddy'
My heart says a thank you to God.
(Perhaps now, in some sense,
I begin to see, to understand
How He feels toward us.)

I watch her play,
Laugh and dance;
I love her sweetness,
Innocence and unconditional spirit...
With praise I give God thanks for them both.
And for the wonderful times we've had,
The times of youth, and the times beyond,
The past, present, and future.

Still, I cannot help but wish
These sweet, wonder-filled, loving days
Of beautiful youth would linger on,
And last a while longer,
Than they have.

I am so grateful for what has been,
And what yet shall be;
Lord, be with my children,
Your children, eternally. Amen.

Tears

Never would say
I never needed anyone
Not now I have knowing
Of the real love
And I need to have you
I could never give it up
Cause the hurt would be too much
And the feeling Im feeling
Is a feeling I like
Its only when Im with you
That I feel all right
Im amazed that its come to this
I love you to tears
I love you to tears
Falling into you
Ive fallen on my feet
My world was only turning
So that we could meet
And I want you always
I could never run away
Working destiny today
And the giving Im giving
Is a giving I like
Its easy when Im with you
To give into life
Im amazed that its come to this
I love you to tears
I love you to tears
Happier than high, this is happening
So cool to have this salt water on my skin
Its not a pool of sorrow that Im harbouring
These are tears of joy that Im swimming in
Happier than high, this is happening
So cool to have this salt water on my skin
Its not a pool of sorrow that Im harbouring
These are tears of joy that Im swimming in
Happier than high
Im happier than high
Im happier than high
Im happier than high
I love you to tears

The Southern Equinox

The roof is leaning a bit
While the eaves are listening close
It's a mighty wind come to call
Swirling and whirling
Flower blossom are curling
Me thinks, it's the calling card of Fall;
August so snug in it's comforter of warmth
Holding, holding on, ever so tight
Keeping September at bay with her sizzle
Promising not to give up her fight;
Alas, Summer's last hurah is about to be
As claimed by this mighty wind's way
Around the corner in latter September days
Autumn will arrive, crisp and ready to play;
Gone will be the green grass and comforting warmth
And the blue skies endless bend
Sunshine will give way to a Firmament of Grey
Hence, Summer will surely come to her end!

Magic Man

In the early hours of eve
As his lips lay kisses upon the night
While he 'tis dancing with me
The Moon and the Stars take flight

A mighty caress of thunder's tear drops
Begin to cascade from clouds so high
There is this voice that whispers
Yet so deep it fills the sky

'Tis a sacred moment this
When the Magic Man* raises his head
All visions of power and wonder
Are taken in by the master and fed

Through the rhapsody of sheer longing
Veiled in visions that hold whats true
Your voice and magnetic eyes do claim me
My entire soul and life they belong to you

Through the dark of night to the sunshine
And rain of the days
You will always be my knight in shining armor
Because of your most loving ways
