Mister Ed
It was brought to our attention yesterday-
Because to us it pertains...
Your poetry or lack of words...
Have-indeed-left many stains;
And an impression on some: 'in the know'...
Who deemed we should be told...
So glad that we have true friends out there...!
'Cause this world is getting really cold;
Now keeping track of words you've said or blank pages-
In a hyperion sorta way...
A horse is a horse of course-
And the scars we bear are from yesterday! ;
The Garden Of Eden is gone in your world (Blacked Out)
While July third is still a mystery...
But its been brought to attention and received questionable mention...!
'Frankly'-it may go down in the annuls of history! ;

The White Horse...
on that early dawn
they arrived. I will not tell you
exactly how many were they.
they brought the wild horse again
this time it is white and coy
they did not speak to me
my attention was focused on the
beautiful horse
i did not show that i liked it
i did not talk too
then they brought the horse inside
the house
and then the windows and doors
were closed
and then the white horse started to
dance
and i liked it more
it was then that i realized
what are they really
and why are they here bringing me
a beautiful white horse
will they take my antique chairs
made of rosewood?
will i bargain my house
for a horse?
just for a horse
and they whose names i do not really know
shall laugh
after they had finally taken the whole of what i have
just for a white horse whose talent is just
to dance?

Waiting For Yesterday
IT'S A LONG WALK BACK TO REALITY
SHE PUTS ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL OF SHAME SHE MADE SO LONG AGO
TRYING OT FIGURE OUT WHERE THINGS WENT WRONG
SEARCHING THROUGH ALL THE LIES SHE TOLD
SOMEHOW SHE MISSED OUT ON ALL THE THINGS THAT SHE NEEDED MOST
DAYS SPENT WONDERING WHY THIS LIFE IS SO COLD AND NOTHING EVER CHANGES
SCREAMING FOR ATTENTION
WATCH THE SUN STEAL YESTERDAY
HIDING ALL EMOTION FAR AWAY
TRYING TO FIND HIS SELF CONFIDENCE
ANOTHER BROKEN HEART BEHIND THE PAINLESS SMILE THAT HE SHOWS
REMINDED THAT YESTERDAY IS SO FAR GONE AND TOMORROW IS STILL A MIRACLE
SOMEHOW HE MISSED OUT ON ALL THE THINGS THAT HE NEEDED MOST
DAYS SPENT WONDERING WHY THIS LIFE IS SO CRUEL AND NOTHING EVER CHANGES
SCREAMING FOR ATTENTION
WATCH THE SUN STEAL YESTERDAY
HIDING ALL EMOTION FAR AWAY
SCREAMING FOR ATTENTION
WATCH THE SUN STEAL YESTERDAY
HIDING ALL EMOTION FAR AWAY
SCREAMING FOR ATTENTION
WATCH THE SUN STEAL YESTERDAY
HIDING ALL EMOTION FAR AWAY
SCREAMING FOR ATTENTION
WATCH THE SUN STEAL YESTERDAY
HIDING ALL EMOTION FAR AWAY
TOMORROW'S STILL A MIRACLE

A WayFarer
The cliffs are the edges of paper--
That time has torn away...
Eroded rock-solid paper...
Jagged reminders of yesterday;
Once a diary of stone-hearted entries--
Surfaced as hardened clay...
But worn away from the Springtime downpours...
And collapsed in Wayfarers Bay;
Pages and pages of dogeared cliffs...
Hanging with no support in mid air...
Rock solid words of our ending---
Oh, the stories the sailors do bear;
Longings from eternities upon the ocean...
Needs that we all have been known to share...
Are written upon the cliffs of yesterday---
Eroded in rock solid despair;
The Essence

Yesterday, When I Was Mad
Yesterday (yesterday yesterday)
Yesterday (yesterday yesterday)
Yesterday (yesterday yesterday) when i was mad
Yesterday (yesterday yesterday) when i was mad
Darling, you were wonderful, you really were quite good
I enjoyed it, though, of course, no one understood
A word of what was going on, they didn't have a clue
They couldn't understand your sense of humour like i do
You're much too kind
I smiled with murder on my mind
Yesterday, when i was mad
And quite prepared to give up everything
Admitting, i don't believe
In anyone's sincerity, and that's what's really got to me
Yesterday (yesterday yesterday)
Yesterday (yesterday yesterday) when i was mad

Truth And Lies
Honesty flying around
The stories inconsistent
You tell me one thing
Another tells me different
Is there any truth left?
Are your words true words?
I know a lie's alive
I've been assured and reassured
Truth and lies
Fake or real
Messin' with my mind
Just take and steal
I'm not seeing straight
Literally, no lie
My eye for truth
Has been shot down, died
No mistakes and yet regret
Comes here and there and then
But when I step back
The situations a win-win
If your story is but true
I will believe it so
I will have made up my mind
Eyesight no longer blind
If only your mouth speaks truth
And your words are lies
I will pay attention & mention
And your story, you will revise
Ill mention your flawed words
Ill bring to notice:
Your story, you told it
My poem, I wrote this
Never in an ever
Fall for a clear lie
I see much much more
There's truth in my eye

Yesterdays
(arkeen / james / billy / rose)
Yesterday, there was so many things
I was never told
Now that i'm startin' to learn
I feel i'm growing old
'cause yesterday's got nothin' for me
Old pictures that i'll always see
Time just fades the pages
In my book of memories
Prayers in my pocket
And no hand in destiny
I'll keep on movin' along
With no time to plant my feet
'cause yesterday's got nothin' for me
Old pictures that i'll always see
Some things could be better
If we'd all just let them be
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Got nothin' for me
Yesterday, there was so many things
I was never shown
Suddenly this time i found
I'm on the streets and i'm all alone
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Old pictures that i'll always see
I ain't got time to reminisce old novelties
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Yesterday's got nothin' for me
Yesterday's got nothin' for me

You Became My History
You were once a mystery,
The one I loved to solve.
Deciphering your code,
Always got me lost.
I thought of understanding you more,
But before I realised it,
You became my history.
You were once a mystery,
Discovering you was a thrill,
Every puzzle I put together,
Granted me fulfilment,
But as time flew by,
you became my history.
You were once a mystery,
Every clue brought me closer,
Every step brought me nearer,
Only to make me smile,
I thrived on your addiction
But after a while,
You became my history.
You were once a mystery,
the very foundation that kept me stable,
Once I comprehended you, I began to feel able,
You were the ocean to my boat,
The cell to my system,
However, even without the distance,
You became my history.
You were once a mystery,
Clouded in question marks,
Trying to understand,
Trying to comprehend,
I was left with numerous thoughts,
The more I tried, the more I learnt,
The less I craved, and before I knew it,
You became my history.

A Horse Is A Horse
A horse is a horse and a man is a man
And neither can be the other
And each can survive but is much better
In the company of one another.
And while a horse is a horse and that is true
A horse is but a beast
As a cow is a cow, some ask how
On its flesh we should not feast?
For they do so in France as in other places
And I don't know how they can
For while a horse is a horse and is only a horse
It is less a cow than it is a man!

That Was Yesterday (extended Version)
I
thought I knew you well
But all this time
I could never tell
I
Let you get away
Haunts me every night and every day
You
Were the only one
The only friend that I counted on
How
Could I watch you walk away?
I'd give anything to have you here today
But now
I stand alone with my pride
And dream
That you're still by my side
But that was yesterday
I had the world in my hands
But it's not the end of my world
It's just a slight change of plans
That was yesterday
But today life goes on
No more hiding in yesterday
'Cause yesterday's gone
Ooh..................
Love
My love I gave it all
Thought I saw the light
When I heard you call
Life
That we both could share
Has deserted me
Left me in despair
But now
I stand alone with my pride
Fighting back the tears
I never let myself cry
But that was yesterday
Love was took from my hands
But it's not the end of my world
It's just a little hard to understand
That was yesterday
But today life goes on
You won't find me in yesterday's world
Now yesterday's gone
Goodbye yesterday
Now it's over and done
Still I hope somewhere deep in your heart
Yesterday will live on
Ooh......

Here to Share
Exhale in a eureka.
I got it this time Hmm, hmm,
what to say in this dismay,
as a cascade of words come spinning to me?
Climb up only to fall down the tree.
Why in all the human needs do we desire attention?
Some things I rather not mention.
I think I'm reinventing this, words that shouldn't exist, or come to me with an awe struck fatality.
Hey look their is someone who died.
What are we to surmise?
He was battling the skies
He was conquering the heavens with simple words.
Not those of the absurd.
Some people just don't get it.
Talk to teach, not preach.
Don't demand understanding.
As if your better then others.
It's about relating to the people.
What are they going through in their lives.
You have to be as one of the people.
Marching up in a deep voice.
Say hey pay attention, I'm right their with you.
In moment so cold, I'm here to tell you are not alone.
I suffer.
I endure.
I overcome.
With these words let this be done.

Blank Pages
Blank pages
Blank books
Lie with only drowning white
No pretty messages in the sand
No clocks to turn a hand
Blank pages
Blank books
Looking into an empty void
Like staring at purgatory
Words with no meaning making up a story
Blank pages
Blank books
Stay staring at the celing
Empty without effort
Nothing without words

What is a Horse?
What is a horse?
A horse has eyes as dainty as a mink.
The grace is interrupted merely by a blink.
A horse is beauty.
What is a horse?
A horse is a tree in a storm that never goes down.
A horse is a weathered rock that stays around.
A horse is ancient.
What is a horse?
A horse waltzes like breeze over rivers.
She curvets and leaps like rain shivers.
A horse is a marionette.
What is a horse?
A horse is determination, that never stops flowing.
A horse is fondness, that never stops growing.
A horse is poetic power.

If I Could Only Find The Words
So many songs talk about love
Written by those who never
Felt its touch
And then there are lines
With poetry rhyme
By those who have known but
Never said much
And here I am
Trying to get you make into my world
Trying to get that feeling known to you
If I could only find the words
Typical lines
Usual games
I new what to say then
To get my own way
I knew it was wrong
I acted untrue
But I would trade forever
For a yesterday with you
And here I am trying to get
You back into my world
Trying to get that feeling known to you
If I could only find the words
If I could only find the words
I knew it was wrong
I acted untrue
But I would trade forever
For a yesterday with you
La la la la la
La la la la la
La la la la la
If I could only find the words

Vapors of Yesterday
Yesterday we were enemies
Today we are friends
Yesterday you said you loved me
Today marks the end
Of two souls which were once intertwined
Like a ball of yarn unrolled now lies undefined
Yesterday we were children
Today we are growing old
Yesterday we were warm
Today we are as cold
As the many dreams that we left frozen in time
Of all the frightful nightmares, some were benign
Yesterday was a blessing
Today is a curse
Yesterday was forever
Today is the first
Moment that we have to read the guiding signs
Through vapors of tomorrow, breathe in and unwind

Getting A Horse
So here I am
15 and over weight
not especially pretty
but not bad;
but invisible
and I hide in gym
and the looks I get
keep me in my place.
I try for friends
but the other outcasts
like me
don't seem to want to
draw attention;
can't talk to anyone,
teachers think I'm dull
I talk to my pillow
only my cat understands me
And, of course,
I don't have a boy friend.
She:
'Ok, let go through all of this.
What do you think comes first.
Why don't you pretend that you are your best friend
What would you tell you best friend to do? '
Daughter:
'I don't know.
I would tell her to think about what she can do
or what she really likes.'
'And that is? '
'Horses'
'Horses'.
'I didn't know you liked horses.'
'They are neat.'
'Ok tell your friend what to do about liking horses.
What does she want to do? '
'She wants a horse.'
'Wants a horse
To get a horse what does she needs to do.'
'Get some money.'
'Well how? '
'Maybe babysitting? '
'Sure tell your friend I have someone who needs babysitting
and she can do it to make money.'
'So I did, took a year,
but I got my horse.
some friends along the way
and a boyfriend.

The True Meaning of Poetry!
What is the true
meaning of poetry?
Is it rhyming
words together?
Is it about love?
Is it about
impressing?
No, unlike some,
I have discovered the,
true meaning of poetry!
Poetry is the feelings in your heart!
It's really just your heart on paper!
Poetry can be about anything really,
Anything at all! It can have a certain theme,
Like shoes, a talent, a fantasy, love,
World issues, personal issues, history,
Past events, important things!
Poems can mean nothing,
But they can also mean the
World to any one! You just
Never know! Poetry is a way
For people to express them-
Selves. Ex-addicts sometimes
Use poetry to help them when they
Are craving their old addictions.
Like I said, poetry can mean
Nothing to one person,
But mean the world to another!

Yesterday Is History
If yesterday is history,
Why do we hold on to it?
If tomorrow is a mystery,
Why do we look for it?
And they say that today is a gift
So why don't we cherish it?
And we wish to find
That perfect peace in life,
The peace that will give us true happiness
So just remember
Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
And today is a gift

Mai Thai Girl
Written by Wilfred Mellers, Saturday, July 31,2010 @ 1: 40 AM
I just want you to know
Every day for you my love will grow
You are the only one for me
For in your loving arms I always want to be
From the first time I met you I cannot for get you
And each and every little thing that you do
You are the light of my existence
In my life you’ve brought back substance
Mai Thai girl
With others I wont bother for I can love no other
Mai Thai girl
You are my sweet lady and your having my baby
Mai Thai girl
I need you like sunshine please you will be mine
Mai Thai girl
You made me complete and I love you my sweet
You are the sunshine and the rain
From your love I can’t refrain
I can never tell you lie’s
For god I see in your eyes
You’ve got my total attention
And all the things I dear not mention
You bring the joy into my world
I thank god that you are my girl

Invasion Again
It's against the law-Amazing Grace...
The tap-tap-tap of a hidden microphone...!
'To know-that is'-about this secretive Wiz...
Has come to: 'The Attention' of Our Home;
Back at it- and at the ready...
He's acting on orders from Mr. Grim...
You have our permission Amazing Grace...
Hidden-to now fully investigate him;
Brought forth from out of the starlight...
Bit by bit- words are clear as can be-
Something needs to be done once and for all...
April 28th-gave us words to clearly see;

All the words you could of
Yet didn't say
Forever your impressions
Are here with me to stay
Oh yesterday
Yesterday
Even thou today
You are so far away
I shall retain in my thoughtls
