Comfortably ensconced in your cavalier motif...
I reach for you but only jagged edges appear-
And there 'tis no solace from the bitter night...
Its harsh brandishings flash 'cross my eyes-my dear;
Fear catches my once bated breath...
And closes my in ways and out ways-tight...
Shadows onced abated in the languishing of noon...
Now creep back-in the darkness of a moonless night;
You are a dapper knight of the lost and forlorn...
Who captivated and captured my all...
Why-oh-why does this night seem so menacing?
With many shades of a bitter swift fall?
So comfortably ensconced in your cavalier motif...
Seduced by your remnants of cloth...
Adorned by the fire of your intense desire...
I am drawn to your light as the moth;
But apprehension t'will not move itself...
While a cold chill suffers my spine...
Limiting me to a seemingly endless eternity...
For sweet charity t'will not make you mine;
So comfortably ensconced in your cavalier motif...
Alas-a dream design only for reverie-
Reality has its locks and boundaries...
Painting for me-a picture: 'of never to be';

Comfortably Numb
Snow is on the mountain
Winter settles in my heart
Icy fingers are familiar
Smooth and cold and oh so hard
Comfortably numb
Frost bites deep
Tiny birds fly from my heart
White winds scream
As they leave frozen lands of my heart
Comfortably numb
I watch my hands
To see what it is they do
Their dirty, they dont build churches
They dont take risks and they dont remember you
Comfortably numb
Orion was a mighty warrior
Cleopatra was a cheap french maid
He said sweetheart I give you the moon
She says I much prefer jewelry
So in the stars he stayed
Comfortably numb
Me and jesus, we go way back
Cause we used to hang at the mall
He says you cant trust them
Theyll just put holes in your hands
So I covered him while he stole a bottle of cheap cologne
Comfortably numb
Lord, forbid, care crawled up my arm
And I killed it right on the spot
For fear it might tear out of my heart
And make me love what I do not

Basking in the Chilly Moonlight
Basking in the chilly moonlight
Under the cloudless, beauteous cold lathered night
A lady dressed in her feminine mystique
Wanders the beauty of her soul's motif
Becoming something like a mystic tale
For night to tell, and nights skies to sail
The words of its love written on her breast
Her eyes slowly close, frozen in love's rest…
Basking in the chilly moonlight
warm, tender and sweet, this night...

Two Valentines
I.-TO MISTRESS BARBARA
There were three cavaliers, all handsome and true,
On Valentine's day came a maiden to woo,
And quoth to your mother: 'Good-morrow, my dear,
We came with some songs for your daughter to hear!'
Your mother replied: 'I'll be pleased to convey
To my daughter what things you may sing or may say!'
Then the first cavalier sung: 'My pretty red rose,
I'll love you and court you some day, I suppose!'
And the next cavalier sung, with make-believe tears:
'I've loved you! I've loved you these many long years!'
But the third cavalier (with the brown, bushy head
And the pretty blue jacket and necktie of red)
He drew himself up with a resolute air,
And he warbled: 'O maiden, surpassingly fair!
I've loved you long years, and I love you to-day,
And, if you will let me, I'll love you for aye!'
I (the third cavalier) sang this ditty to you,
In my necktie of red and my jacket of blue;
I'm sure you'll prefer the song that was mine
And smile your approval on your valentine.
II.-TO A BABY BOY
Who I am I shall not say,
But I send you this bouquet
With this query, baby mine:
'Will you be my valentine?'
See these roses blushing blue,
Very like your eyes of hue;
While these violets are the red
Of your cheeks. It can be said
Ne'er before was babe like you.
And I think it is quite true
No one e'er before to-day
Sent so wondrous a bouquet
As these posies aforesaid-
Roses blue and violets red!
Sweet, repay me sweets for sweets-
'Tis your lover who entreats!
Smile upon me, baby mine-
Be my little valentine!

Cold winter night
It was a cold winter night.
All was deadly still.
My guts so tight
I must kill!
The cry of a wolf enters my head
Like a train whistle that echoes far away.
Can it be…something lives on this winter night?
Follow the sound and pray
It does not go away.
My hunger juices flowing; I go.
I and the wolf both now know
Neither is alone in the land of snow.
Oh, how I wish I had his sight
On this cold winter night
The north wind moved in the night before.
The ground all snow and bitter cold…so bitter cold.
The sky filled with stars.
The snow grows old.
My guts so tight
What a cold, cold winter night!
The wolf stays hidden from my sight
With it’s furry coat of gray and white.
He glides across the snow without sound
Like a ballerina tiptoeing over the ground.
My guts so tight
On this bitter cold winter night
I with my blood running slow
My hands burning cold; my face red glow
Driven by the pain in my gut
On this cold-cold bitter winter night
I must kill
To make the night still
So the hunger pains
Will be gone again
I hear nothing on this cold winter night
My hair stands up on the back of my neck
I fear the wolf knows
I turn
Crutch to spring
His fangs showing white; my knife in my hand
We circle like two roosters in a pen.
For one this will be the end.
The pain in my gut is still tight
I will kill but not for the trill
On such a killing bitter cold winter night
With the grace of a cat he springs to flight
My throat his aim on this cold winter night
My knife hits his heart…he hunches in pain;
His fangs rip my throat cutting the jugular vein.
The snows now stain on this cold winter night.
Blood and flesh flung upon the snow
Cries of pain, moans of death…soon will go
From this bitter cold ground
All is still on winter’s playground.
The wolf dances no more
My lips move but there is no sound.
My gut is still tight
I feel alright
No more time to fight
On this bitter cold winter night
Wind and snow now fill the air.
The wolf has an empty den.
The snow will be tracked no more.
Twinkle, twinkle little star
Genocide complete
In a galaxy so far

The Cruel Winds of Winter
Got up this morning, no sun in my eyes,
The house is so cold, no warmth to the fire,
My love is gone, he took all my desire,
And cruel winds of winter howled all night.
My love could warm me in the coldest time,
Bring the light of day to the darkest night,
As tears of my sorrow fall from my eyes,
The cruel winds of winter cry in delight.
Pull on my coat, keep the chill from my side,
I walk by the sea, the salt stings my eye,
The caps are all gray, like clouds in the sky,
And with those cruel winds of winter, I cry.
As tears of my sorrow fall to the sand,
My love is not here to warn my cold hand,
He’s gone like the sun from this harsh, gray land,
And only the wind seems to understand.
This endless winter has replaced his light,
My sweet love gone, no warmth in my sight,
I drift lost and lonely, no sleep I find,
Still those winds cry with me deep in the night.
My heart so heavy, life has no delight,
And the cruel winds of winter, torment my night.

Lend me your Tears
crystal as the stream
in my dream sees, pearl of touchless eyes
in the halos of
every smile, lighted every dark of the past
glorified of showered pathways of
relentless ideal those certainty is beyond
human reach
what comes in the pain of hate, whose
anger stop revenge solitude, nothing than a
arrogance of the heart rebirth
in the shadow of the brave Knight of
flame
worship the fire and close the open gate
of harmony, for the color of the night grip
every hand to blood of songs,
sober the vague of silent and allure the blade
of joy, into the passion of hope
comes again
sharpen the glittering edges
of prayer as the cavalier ready to fight for
victory

The Grand Seigneur
To the hut of the peasant, or lordly hall,
To the heart of the king, or humblest thrall,
Sooner or late, love comes to all,
And it came to the Grand Seigneur, my dear,
It came to the Grand Seigneur.
The robins were singing a roundelay,
And the air was sweet with the breath of May,
As a horseman rode thro' the forest way,
And he was a Grand Seigneur, my dear,
He was a grand Seigneur.
Lord of the Manor, Count Bellefontaine,
Had spurr'd over many a stormy plain
With gallants of France at his bridle rein,
For he was a brave Cavalier, my dear--
He was a brave Cavalier.
But the huntsman's daughter, La Belle Marie,
Held the Knight's proud heart in captivity,
And oh! she was fair as the fleur de lys,
Tho' only a peasant maid, my dear,
Only a peasant maid.
Thro' the woodland depths on his charger grey
To the huntsman's cottage he rides away,
And the maiden lists to a tale to-day
That haughtiest dame might hear, my dear,
That haughtiest dame might hear.
But she cried 'Alas! it may never be,
For my heart is pledged to the young Louis,
And I love him, O Sire, so tenderly,
Tho' he's only a poor Chasseur, my Lord,
Only a poor Chasseur.'
'Enough,' spake the Knight with a courtly bow,
'Be true to thy lover and maiden vow,
For virtue like thine is but rare, I trow,
And farewell to my dream of love, and thee,
Farewell to my dream of thee.'
And they say the gallant Count Bellefontaine
Bestowed on the couple a rich domain,
But you never may hear such tale again,
For he was a Grand Seigneur, my dear,
He was a Grand Seigneur!

The darkness of my soul
My soul is dark.
Darker than the night sky on a moonless night.
Darker than my room on a moonless night.
If I shall die on this moonless night.
My soul shall rise nor fall within the darkness of the night.
Without any light in the sky of this moonless night.

To The Moon
Hide this one night thy crescent, kindly Moon;
So shall Endymion faithful prove, and rest
Loving and unawakened on thy breast;
So shall no foul enchanter importune
Thy quiet course; for now the night is boon,
And through the friendly night unseen I fare,
Who dread the face of foemen unaware,
And watch of hostile spies in the bright noon.
Thou knowest, Moon, the bitter power of Love;
’Tis told how shepherd Pan found ways to move,
For little price, thy heart; and of your grace,
Sweet stars, be kind to this not alien fire,
Because on earth ye did not scorn desire,
Bethink ye, now ye hold your heavenly place.

My Bitter Sweet
Oh, Night!
How peaceful you are my Starful night
You sorrowful delight
You bitter sweet
You dark desireful with light
Though all these pains around
You still so clear and kind
You're my only honest friend
You never leave me alone
like other friends
Every day you are here
Sweet and so dear
With dark face you come my near
With wandered eyes you gaze with fear
I know you care and fear
To see me tear
Till asking me
How I am! Oh!
How you are dear
You sit by my side and shead tear
My charmful night stay so dear!
People all changed,
Please you stay so kind and dear
Alone I Fear!

A Tenant in the Obscure house
He has a morbid fear of crowds and the doctors diagnosed the sickness as ' Ochlophobia'.
In the day time he locks himself inside and he goes out in the middle of the night.
He invites his best friend the handsome death for a chat
Where he lives nearby the cemetery,
But the death says ' it's too early my dear and also your ticket is not valid yet for the departure,
Please be calm and stay comfortably and I'll knock at your door
When the express train stops at the station of Goodbye.'

Bitter Pill
And the label said take two for the pain
So now I medicate my brain
The conflict rubs against my grain
But I cannot flush this down the drain
We are so hopeless
We are so hopelessly in love
She breaks my will
Shes my bitter pill
Addicted to her
Cant fight off the chill
Shes blurs my world
Shes my bitter pill
We creep the night
Just to taste the thrill
Hopelessly in love
Shes the kind of love drives a man insane
She sticks her poison right in my vien
Spinning around
Over and upside down in love
She breaks my will
Shes my bitter pill
Addicted to her
Cant fight off the chill
Shes blurs my world
Shes my bitter pill
We creep the night
Just to taste the thrill
Hopelessly in love
She blurs my world
Shes my bitter pill
She breaks my will
Shes my bitter pill
We creep the night
Just to taste the thrill
Addicted to her
Shes my bitter pill

Moonless Night
The air is cold in this moonless night
its so beautiful
this moonless night
the night for an eclipse
three years of waiting for this night is so wonderfull
the beauty of this world
you never want to end this moment
of joy
this moonless night is wonderful
with you here
i will never forgett this night
with the cool waves and the beautiful moonless night sky.....

The Path
There is no turning back from this unending path of mine
Serpent turning back it stands before my eyes
To hell and back it will lead me once more
Its all I have as I stumble in and out of grace
I walk through the gardens of dying lights
And cross over rivers deep and dark as the night
Searching for reasons why time passes by
With every step I take the less I know myself
And every vow I break on my way towards your heart
Countless times Ive prayed for forgiveness
But God just laughed at my face
And this path remains
Leading me into solitude zones
I seek through the darkness my way back home
The journey seems endless but Ill carry on
The shadows will rise and day will fall
And a night turns in dawn
And after the tears this smile all angels grieve with an envious song
When looking into strangers eyes
And I know where I belong
I walk through the gardens of dying lights
And cross over rivers deep and dark as the night
Searching for reasons why time passes by
I seek through the darkness my way back home
The journey seems endless but Ill carry on
The shadows will rise and day will fall
And a night turns in dawn

Night Mirror
I'm sitting in an empty field
can't remember how I got here
stunned, I feel a bitter chill
Apprehension mixed with raw fear
I feel an evil presence near
find myself frozen in terror
Suddenly the enemy appears
find myself looking in a mirror
I scream
I wake up from this odd dream
feelings of trepidation on me
get up from the bed yawning stretch
go to the john to take a piss
take a glimpse in the mirror
laughing at these feelings of terror
finish my business and smile
the image smiles back, then laughs
I retreat fast
as the image in the looking glass
attempts to grab me
I scream
shake my head as I wake from this dream
find myself in my parents house alone
I'm 8 years old
something else is here with me
not somebody but something evil here
my fear causes my bladder to leak
shaking, why did they go and leave?
forsaking me to this evil thing
slowly creeping closer to me
I try to close my eyes but still see
misty at first now clearing
the vision near me the mirror me
the evil nearing me ready to devour me
closer now almost overpowering me
as I cower in my bed eyes closed tightly
I awake and find it was just another night thing
a dream
within a dream within a dream
The oddest thing
am I awake? I get up out of bed
the mirror image dances in my head
like an evil twin
taunting me, tempting me to look again
I laugh, a nervous laugh, take nervous steps
toward the bathroom, open the door
turn the light on... turn around and
suddenly I understand the dream
I scream
an endless nightmare of my own doing
i stare in abject fear at the ruin
the body lying there, my body dead
eyes staring at the mirror... in facination
I look and see me look in accusation
looking back at me as if to say
look what you did, you ended it too soon
i hang my head I feel just like a fool
I feel the icy breath and look back up
the mirror image bearing down on me
Another dream? Can't bare it anymore
I feel the hand of evil fill my soul
the evil in the mirror takes a hold
I scream
The dream begins again
I'm sitting in an empty field
can't remember how I got here
stunned, I feel a bitter chill
Apprehension mixed with raw fear...

Ensconce
snugly
comfortably do you remember
how we sit before the
tv and watch our favorite
videos,
fiddler on the roof
the sound of music
gone with the wind
the titanic
ghosts
who's afraid of virginia wolf?
and i went higher
than what you expect me
to settle for
higher
than entertainment
even greater than sweet-sour love
i went into
politics
and legalistic movies
and yes
crime does not pay
the who donnit ones
and the
phantom of the opera
and
les miserables
where i think i was finally
reborn
from my slumber
of
noli me tangere
and munich and the black september
i cried, sort of overacting
and you do not believe
and you laugh
deep inside
yourself: this man is gone out of his senses
ensconced, like a bird i perched
and lodged
and installed myself in one corner
of just seeing and listening
like a ship looking for
an anchor
perhaps just to camp
and burrow like Alice's rabbit
so i can find my hiding place
keeping my own home key with
nothing to spare
and i like it here now
nobody looks for me
and i do not have to
answer for any call
or for somebody telling
me to open a door

Bring On The Night
I was taking a chance on a tight-rope
Walking the line to the end
I was ready to fall had my back to the wall
But i'm flying again...
I been shifting my gears. i been moving
Cause they wanted me dead or alive
But i'm making a break and i want you to take a ride
Take a ride -
Bring on the night
Into the shadows and out of the light
Bring on the night
Let the dream chaser take you away
When the sun hits another horizon...
And the joker has started to deal...
You can quit if you choose but there's nothing to lose
By a spin of the wheel
Gotta burn all your bridges behind you, they'll keep dragging
You down if you stay...
And i know i ain't wrong cause i'm free and i'm on my way
On my way...
Bring on the night
Into the shadows and out of the light
Bring on the night
Let the dream chaser take you away
I live on the edge of tomorrow
I'm racing along on the wind
I can see what i need, you better believe
I'm playin' to win
I got nothin' to fear when i'm flyin...
Cause yesterday's over and gone
And there's nothin' i can do...so i gotta keep movin' on..
Movin' on -
Movin' on -
Bring on the night
Into the shadows and out of the light
Bring on the night
Let the dream chaser take you away...take you away
Bring on the night
"dream chaser"
Repeat till fade
