Left In The Dark

Your father took you
to see a Jeff Chandler movie
and you sat there
in the dark

eating popcorn
sharing some with him
and taking in
the cowboys

and guns
and imaging you
were up there
riding your imaginary horse

shooting your gun
along side the others
when your father got up
and went off

into the darkness
and so you continued
to watch the movie
giving no further thought

to where he'd gone
the john perhaps
or to buy some smokes
or get some air

and you just stayed
sitting there watching
when some young dame
came down

and said
your father’s had a choking fit
but he’s ok now
and you said

shame he’s missed the best bit
and she whispered
(her voice like Marilyn Monroe’s)
I don’t think he gives a shit

and the odd thing was
out of the blue
you said kind of shy
neither do I.

Father Of Night

Father of night, father of day,
Father, who taketh the darkness away,
Father, who teacheth the bird to fly,
Builder of rainbows up in the sky,
Father of loneliness and pain,
Father of love and father of rain.
Father of day, father of night,
Father of black, father of white,
Father, who build the mountain so high,
Who shapeth the cloud up in the sky,
Father of time, father of dreams,
Father, who turneth the rivers and streams.
Father of grain, father of wheat,
Father of cold and father of heat,
Father of air and father of trees,
Who dwells in our hearts and our memories,
Father of minutes, father of days,
Father of whom we most solemnly praise.

Father Boy

Oh Father Boy, Oh Father Boy
You didn’t see the signs
You didn’t hear a thing did you
Oh Father Boy, my dear
You didn’t see, you didn’t look, you didn’t listen either
You didn’t try to understand
You didn’t take the time
You weren’t a Father, Father Boy, you weren’t a Father, Father.

Oh Father Boy, Father Boy
When a Father has a Boy
To be a Father, Father see
You have to see the Boy
The Boy inside the Father
And the Father in the Boy
But Father Boy, Oh Father Boy
You just didn’t pay attention
For a Boy to be a Father, Father
He cannot be a Father Boy.

Father, Can you see me?

Can You See Me Father?

Father, can you see me?

Father, can you help me through this night?

Father, are you with me?

I look up at the sky, and wonder why, I feel so alone now...

Father, will you help me?

Im afraid to close my eyes.

Father, can you hear me?

Father, can you see me?

Father, if I sleep now, will you be watching over me this night?

Father, can you hear me?

Father, can you see me?

Father, the world I see is so much larger, than I remember when you were here with me.

Father, can you hear me?

Father, can you see me?

Father, can you help me stand own my own two feet once more?

Father, Im on my knees, looking at the sky, looking for your eyes.

Father, I've lost my way, Lord, I pray for your guidance once more.

Father, what was your will, Lord, it was not mine.

Father, can you hear me?

Father, can you see me?

Father, as I pray for your will, please come and show me the way, dear Lord I pray.

Amen

In Prayer to You

Thank you, My Father
For all that You've done for me.
For all that you've done for me...
I thank You, My Father.

Thank you, My Father
For all that You've done for me.
For all that you've done for me...
I thank You, My Father.

Thank You...
Father, Father, Father!
Thank You...
Father, Father, Father!
Thank You...
Father, Father, Father!
For all that you've done for me.

In the early morning hours,
When I arise to greet the Sun...
I feel blessed and prepared,
With such gratefulness...
In prayer to You.
This I must do!

And when noon approaches...
No matter what I have done,
Before that time comes...
That may create a disturbance,
I did not invite nor did I make.
I find time to show it is You I appreciate.
In prayer to You.
This I must do!

Whether or not...
Thunder storms roar,
Or rain drops fall to pitter and pat.
Thank you, My Father
For all that You've done for me.
For all that you've done for me...
I thank You, My Father.

And at the oncoming of Sunset...
Not one moment do I forget,
The power of Your presence...
That showers the blessings,
From You I get!

Thank You...
Father, Father, Father!
Thank You...
Father, Father, Father!
Thank You...
Father, Father, Father!
In prayer to You.
This I must do!

‘father”:

'A FATHER IS SOMEONE WHO'S THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU NEED HIM
A FATHER NEVER LETS YOU DOWN
A FATHER IS SOMEONE THERE TO HUG YOU WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG
A FATHER IS THERE TO DRY UP THE TEARS
A FATHER IS THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO
A FATHER IS'NT SOMEONE WHO LEAVES THE MOTHER WHEN HE FINDS OUT SHE'S PERGANT
A FATHER IS'NT SOMEONE WHO DENYS THEIR OWN CHILD
A FATHER IS'NT SOMEONE WHO LEAVES YOU LEFT BEHIND
A FATHER IS'NT SOMEONE WHO SAYS ONE THING TO ONE PERSON THEN SAYS ANOTHER THING TO SOMEONE ELSE
A FATHER IS’NT WHAT I SEE IN YOU”

The Perfect Father

The Perfect Father
who accepts you
the perfect father
who protects you

The perfect father
what will you do?
but believe in him
and accept Him too

The perfect Father
who gave His life
The perfect Father
is found in Jesus Christ

The perfect Father
who knows your name
The perfect father
who will remain

The perfect Father
who lovingly guides
who wants to lead you
like a shepherd
and walk
by your side

The perfect Father
who listens and holds
The perfect Father
who gently consoles

The perfect Father
who changes you
by his Love and his kindness
and acceptance too

The perfect Father
who understands
This perfect Father
became a man

So that you could come
to personally know Him
and know there is a Father
who is out there my friend

There is a Father
who exist, your not dreaming

He's looking for you
while your searching for Him

He's found in Jesus Christ

Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life
no one comes to the father except through me'

On His Father's Side

On his mother’s side
Born in Bethlehem
On his Father’s side
No one before him
On his mother’s side
Growing and learning
On his Father’s side
All knowledge showing
On his mother’s side
Stuck in one location
On his Father’s side
Present in every nation
On his mother’s side
He was hungry
On his Father’s side
The multitudes he did feed
On his mother’s side
At Calvary he died
On his Father’s side
He was the essence of life
On his mother’s side
Buried like other men
On his Father’s side
He rose again
On his mother’s side
Human and weak
On his Father’s side
The God of eternity.

Thank You Father

Thank You Father,
For giving me this life that I live.
Thank You Father,
For giving me the chances to forgive.
I believe in You...
I pray each day to prove that I do!

Thank You Father,
The Keeper and Ruler of Love.
Thank You Father,
You're ALL things on Earth...and Above.
You opened up my eyes,
Your power can not be denied.

I dream of a life that is full
And giving!
To dream of a world
Where all people live in peace.
In true harmony released!

Thank You Father,
My soul will flow eternally.
Thank You Father,
The breath that I breathe
Just could not be.
In everything I do...
I ask of you
To help me see things through.

I know You are there with me every hour.
And each day...
It is clear that You're everywhere!
With You...
Why should I despair?

Thank You Father,
For giving me this life that I live.
Thank You Father,
For giving me the chances to forgive.
In everything I do...
My purpose here,
Is pleasing only You!

Thank You Father.
Thank You Father!
Thank You...

Thank you Heavenly Father

You are the one and only true God
Thank you heavenly Father, for being the on who has and still
working on my behalf

I think...no I know my puny mind could not figure
the whole thing out
not by myself,
I'd lost my sanity had it not been for you
years ago 'Thank you Father'
You are GOD and there is no other
and there will never, never, ever be another
Thank you Father
for giving me peace

you know how I run to you when I'd get alarmed
especially when I have a heavy heart while shedding tears
Thank you Father for forgiving me of
disobedience, contrary, behavior 'Thank you Father'
thanks for not allowing me to die in those sins I was in
Thank you Father for our union

Save Them Father

Father you are always on my mind, I love you Father and trust
in you with all my heart. I have no questions for your decisions,
my faith is strong and true.

Father I’m in awe when I look around this world, when I stand
and take in the awesome views, I know this is the work of the
Master, and that Master for certain is you.

This morning Father I pray for those without faith, who can not
see pass their noses. They have eyes that function, but they
truly can not see.

Father give these blind people the ability to come out from their
deadened shells, touch them with your spirit, let them see the
light.

Oh Father God, drench them with your love so they make no
mistake. Take them by the hand so some day they too will
walk through Heaven’s Gate.

Father sometime young people are taken in by those who have
no interest in their soul but only in the money that they hold.
The devil’s people live among us, taking advantage of many.

Your children need your guidance Father and your continued
patience for I truly believe some day they will come out of the
darkness, walk into the light and face the truth.

Father I leave these people to you, in your caring hands. May
they make Jesus the center of their lives and join their brothers
and sisters who know the truth, save them Father.

I Love you Father and I ask this Lord in the name of your only
Son Jesus.-Amen

My Father Was A Loser

My Father Was A Loser.
My Father Was A Punk.
My Father Was Abussive.
My Father Was A Drunk.
My Father Was Stricked.
My Father Was Mean.
My Father Did Drugs.
My Father Was A Feen.
On My 13th Birthday, My Father Left My Mom.
Ever Since Then, My Life Became Calm.

Ecclesiastes Of A Youth: Part 2

II:

Surely I’m sinful since I was born,
Vile from the very time of mybirth
From that time, I’ve missed the *mark of God,
Have fallen short of His righteousness!

So again I spoke to the Father,

“Curse ev’rything that my heart’s proud of
. if it cannot please You, O Father!
Let all my knowledge from me be off
. if they cannot please You, O Father!
Curse all my success to be worthless
. if I am not pleasing you, Father!
Let my self strengths to me be curses
. if am not pleasing You, Father!
Let all my pride became shame to me
. if I can’t make You smile, O Father!
Let all my golds be curses to me
. if I can’t make You smile, O Father!
Let all my laughter turn to sorrow
. if I can’t learn to please You, Father!
Let all my rejoices be hollow
. if I can’t learn to please You, Father! '

What Kind Of Father Are You?

Do a father leave his three daughter down and dry
Do a father come only three times out of a year
What kind of father are you?
Should a father leave his daughters just to take care of an other women son and daughter...
What kind of father are you?
Can a father broke a promise that he promise 10 years ago
Should a father be ashame of his three daughter looks or weight
If so what kind of father are you?

Coughing Woman

So what so the woman
Had a bad cough and they
Let her into the cinema to
Watch a film and there she
Was cough cough right through
The movie and it kind of echoed
And at times became the focus
Of attention and the odd person
Said Hey can’t you control that
Coughing? And she coughed in
Reply and the guy next to her
Moved and the dame behind
Tapped her on the shoulder and
Said Oughtn’t you to be in bed
With medication? And the movie
Rolled on and the people watched
Or moaned or did both and then
Towards the end of the film she
Stood up and slowly walking by
The people in the row and said
Sorry sorry and they muttered
Things and whispered words and
Finally she got out in the daylight
And beneath a bright sun and her
Coughing continued as it had begun.

Father, son, spirit

The father conceives his son
the son grows with his father
the spirit allows the heritage
Father, son, spirit. The father says sweet things to his son
the son is a rosebud to his father
the spirit remembers the instant of conception
Spirit, father, son. The father works, gladly
the son at school, learns much
the spirit, lovingly, joins them
Son, father, spirit The son makes his father, a good father
the union of father and son,
is the work of the spirit of love
Spirit, son, father.

My father, My father

My father, my father,
I love he,
my father, my father,
made me see,
how beautiful this world really can be.
My father, my father,
said to me,
my daughter my daughter,
come see me,
I wont be around forever, and i have things that must be.
My father, my father,
dont die on me.

Priest At The Serapeion

My kind old father
whose love for me has always stayed the same
I mourn my kind old father
who died two days ago, just before dawn.

Jesus Christ, I try continually
in my every thought, word, and deed
to keep the commandments
of your most holly Church; and I reject
all who deny you. But now I mourn:
I grieve, O Christ, for my father
even though he was -terrible as it is to say it
priest at that cursed Serapeion.

Father Sun

Strange imaginations, children hide your secrets well
Is it not temptation, makes you kiss and makes you tell?
Theres a traveler on the airwaves, and hes pleading for my heart
Light up all the candles, Im still in the dark
Hurry operator, get redemption on the line
Pull back the curtains, I think I recognize those eyes
If love is so criminal, then my penance due
cause Im still holding onto letters written straight to you
Oh, wont you save me, father sun, father sun
I need to tell you that my life is on the run
And now you know that youre the only one
Oh, please forgive me, father sun, father sun
I swore I needed you in the back of my mind
Laid the beads upon the table, right beside the wine
It seems that we say forever, but forevers just a word
And I will be coming back for you is all I heard
Oh, wont you save me, father sun, father sun
I need to tell you that my life is on the run
And now you know that youre the only one
Oh, please forgive me, father sun, father sun
Please dont forget me, father sun, father sun
I think I hear him whispering
Put your hand in my hand and you wont feel a thing
Oh, wont you save me, father sun, father sun
I need to tell you that my life is on the run
And now you know that youre the only one
Oh, please forgive me, father sun, father sun
Oh wont you save me, father sun, father sun
I need to tell you that my life is on the run
And now you know that youre the only one
Oh wont you save me, father sun, father sun
Oh wont you save me, father sun, father sun
Oh wont you save me, save me, save me, save me, save me, father sun
