Wealth And Racism

Yes tell me it is not called the third world!
It is called the developing world? Developing?

Yes tell me it is not rich people exploiting the poor!
It is the system and multinational corporations?

People would never do such things deliberately!
News flash, some people not only would, they are?

To poor people struggling inside a third world.
Rich people can symbolize oppression slavery.
Rich people at best may be just rich boss pricks.

It does not amatta, what acolour, a skin is...
when it isa youa, who isa starving, toa slowa death!
When it isa youa, whoisa nota gota, fullie stomach!

It does not matter what colour a skin is...
When the people exploiting you are all the same.
When the people exploiting you are all rich pricks.

Of course children under five starving to death...
do so without ever experiencing the need to learn...
the meaning, of such words terms; their experiences differ...

Poor third world people, dying of starvation wages...
when lucky enough, to get any kind, of work at all.
Or being sweat shop worked, to a dropp dead early grave...
don’t usually much care, who is classified as super rich.
Or what prejudice exists, between the boss mega rich.

Arguments and equations
demanding colour equality.
Tend to lose ground and relevance
quickly, for the dying and the dead.

Questions of race harmony
can best be resolved.
When the entire race of humanity
is fairly, clothed and fed.

For dedicated; chosen social reformers;
like Mahatma Gandhi and Doctor King.
True civilized; family brotherhood;
has evolved to protect the underdog.

Regardless of religion, race, colour;
or conceived social status or class.

To truly love and protect fellow human beings
is truly a wonderful beautiful thing.

True social reformers are not limited
or interested in more power to women,
gays, specific religious groups, ethnic
groups, or class stratum of society; if

this means greater power misdirected,
to exploit, any specific part, of now
always important, social stratification;
contemporary, gradually evolving, human

conditioning society. The elimination
of all exploitation and underclasses, is
also the final freedom curing, of power
crazed misguided souls, wasting human

unresourced potentiality. But to a few, a few
stinking, filthy rich, rich blobs, of supposed
humanity; it makes not an iota of difference,
when, their exploited, third world workers,

expire. After the grasped, exploitation of the bitter
husk, it matters not what becomes, of withering dust.

To be further downtrodden, no more; to hunger or
starve, no more; to be free at last, to be free at last.

To de Mr Big Rich Boss Man, all used up, time to get a new one!
After all dem gutters are full, plenty more, where dat came from!

It was Jesus who said, a rich man is a man,
who has enough food for each day,
and if you have two garments, give one to
your brother who lacking has none!

The Humiliation Of My People

my rich brother politician
is humiliating my people
poor people,
never empowered to stand on their
own feet, they keep waiting
for masters
to make them whole again
crippled, and limping
my rich brother's hand keep
pretending to take
them from the
quicksands of poverty
but i know the mind of my
rich brother whose laughter sounds like
the devil
now that he needs all of them
he feeds them and clothes them
but soon these will simmer
and fade and the truth
about my rich brother comes out
but it will be late already
my rich brother has already taken the power
and enriches himself some more
leaving my poor people back in their shanties
again scavenging for food
and begging for clothing
the humiliation will never stop
from time to time all of them shall be hailed
like those in
the Schindler's list.

but soon there will be light and music
and progress

streams of yellow rays from the Sun God
possessed with
Integrity and Truth
and Justice and
Goodness.

Sonnet: The Rich and the Poor

The rich become richer and the poor poorer;
This is the way in which this world goes on!
Men may become suddenly rich, not born;
A rich man turns suddenly a beggar.

The few pennies are snatched off from the poor;
The brunt of taxes are but borne by them;
They can’t make both ends meet by any sum;
The rich hoodwink the taxman- their brother!

Will the world treat people alike ever?
All men are born unequally today;
Yet, if it happens, ’twill be a wonder;
No matter what you do, things happen this way.

The rich become richer not by real work;
The poor become poorer though they hardwork!

Might is right

It is always the fact that might is right
They will go on till the end to fight
They may do it with the speed of light
They have the wisdom and long sight

Small insects kill smaller one
Big also kill little one and go on
It is complete cycle of exploitation
Everybody looses in turn and in rotation

So if rich rule the scene then nothing wrong
Not all can be in race and come along
It is sheer coincidence that mighty rule
Otherwise not all the people are fool

Person with abundance can sustain losses
He may have no regret even if looses
This gives them little advantage
Rest all feel confined to cage

Once you are under domination you are bound to suffer
You may have no rights other than to differ
So poor remain poor and rich gets richer
Poor remain suppressed for times to come
Rich are dominating and always welcome

Corruption has engulfed poor and rich alike
Everybody is influenced and affected with hike
No one wants to remain as poor like
Rich too wants not to become poor and dislike

This is tendency that we feel pity for poor
We have seen them knocking the door
But it is the system that will remain forever
Even if God descends on earth it will be there

If you have same system with no discrimination
No one may work and develop alienation
They will feel free with passing of responsibility
Here comes then the end of clear and distinct ability

If you have system with loop holes anybody will escape
No one can restrict the temptation or put the cap
Only the poor fail to emerge for the want of resources
The powerful emerge and re-emerge with full force

The oppression part is little disturbing
No one can force or go on curbing
No one can be forced to undergo torture
Even God has made it very sure

The rich may have disliking for poor
Poor to may have tendency to show exit door
It has been clash of time for centuries and very old
No one can buy it or arguments can be sold

Lord may wish so for all His children
He may even grant the same blessing even
Yet that difference may remain and even if not
The needless wars might not have been fought

The human beings may create it to rule
They make use of all available tools
Rich may tackle poor and poor may tackle down trodden
As the system remains same with all the odds even

Tax

Tax is for the welfare of the masses
That’s why more tax should levied
Upon the rich than the poor
In such a manner
So that a desired balance is maintained.

There should be no filthy rich
In a poor country
So the government should impose tax
On this people couple of times more
Than the ordinary rich.

Education tax, poverty elimination tax
And tax to rehabilitate the beggars
Can be imposed on the very rich.

The government must go for moderate tax
For the poor people
And they should not slaughter the hen
That lays egg of gold.

The Muslims should give tax properly
Since it is obligatory for them
So in a Muslim country
The government should highlight this
In order to increase revenue.

The Very Thing That Makes You Rich

My father told me, lying on his bed of death,
"boy," he says, "woman she's gonna make it, don't fool your self
'cause she's got something to make a man lay that money, uh, right in her hand
And the very thing that makes her rich will make you poor
The very thing that makes her rich will make you poor"
That's right!
Well, i put you behind the wheel of a deuce and a quarter, yes i did
Had you living like a rich man's daughter, yes i did, i sure did
While you were living high on the hog
You had me down here scuffling like a dog
Well, the very thing that makes you rich makes me poor
The very thing that makes you rich makes me poor
Don't you never ever make such a bad mistake
You know i'd rather climb into bed with a rattlesnake
Then to work hard every day bringing that woman all my pay
The very thing that makes you rich makes me poor,
Makes me so damn poor
The thing that makes her rich makes me poor
The very thing that makes you rich make me poor
Very thing that makes you rich makes me poor
Makes me so damned poor
Money won't change it, no no...

Baby, You're A Rich Man

How does it feel to be
One of the beautiful people?
Now that you know who you are
What do you want to be?
And have you travelled very far?
Far as the eye can see.
How does it feel to be
One of the beautiful people?
How often have you been there?
Often enough to know.
What did you see, when you were there?
Nothing that doesn't show.
Baby you're a rich man,
Baby you're a rich man,
Baby you're a rich man too.
You keep all your money in a big brown bag inside a zoo.
What a thing to do.
Baby you're a rich man,
Baby you're a rich man,
Baby you're a rich man too.
How does it feel to be
One of the beautiful people?
Tuned to a natural e
Happy to be that way.
Now that you've found another key
What are you going to play?
Baby you're a rich man,
Baby you're a rich man,
Baby you're a rich man too.
You keep all your money in a big brown bag inside a zoo.
What a thing to do.
Baby you're a rich man...

Are you rich?

Because parents are rich
I am not rich.
Because brothers or sisters
Or in-laws are rich,
Because own children are rich
I am no richer.
Unless I myself am rich
I cannot be rich.
Too late to understand
And hence poor I went.

Sonnet: Trust Not the Rich

The world is large but people’s minds are small!
They do not trust the God who loves man much;
They blunder often, repeatedly fall;
They want their hands to have the ‘golden touch’!

Beware of nations rich with much resource;
They lead the world in every field they choose;
They steer the poorer ones clearly off-course,
And hang their economy’s neck by noose!

The world today doesn’t care for poorer men;
The rich usurp all pow’r and ill-treat rest;
They neglect downtrodden and poor brethren;
The poor can’t rise although being the best.

Don’t trust the rich but stay independent;
The rich make slaves out of those dependent!

Another American Civil War

The rich are becoming richer than ever before
As the middle class is left expiring in its own gore.

Each day prices rise as people's confidence falls,
But wealthy are too busy to hear their desperate calls.

Rich are counting all the new money they're gaining
And can't believe that there's anyone complaining.

Like Medieval Times they live in castles behind walls,
Shielding them from the increasingly frantic calls.

As with their ancestors greed is the order of the day.
They have no interest in a poorer class with little say.

Only when downtrodden rise and demand their rights
Will walls fall and rich feel the pain of people's plights.

History is replete with middles classes becoming poor
Until they refuse to be ruled by the rich and declare war!

Almsgiving tends to perpetuate poverty aid does away with it once and for all. Almsgiving leaves a man just where he was before. Aid restores him to society as an individual worthy of all respect and not as a man with a grievance. Almsgiving is the generosity of the rich social aid levels up social inequalities. Charity separates the rich from the poor aid raises the needy and sets him on the same level with the rich.

Rich In Our Own World

We are rich in our own world
and far richer than you think,
we are rich love and caring
from our family and friends.
We are rich in what we give
our wisdom and our laughter
that we share with everyone.
We are rich for all sorts of reasons
and none of them includes money.
If you think, you are poor,
forget it and think again.
Think of all the things you have
and you will be surprised to find
you are far richer than you think.
You are rich in your own world
with everything you have
and they are far richer than
anything money can bring.

Money, Money

I work all night, I work all day, to pay the bills I have to pay
Ain't it sad
And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me
That's too bad
In my dreams I have a plan
If I got me a wealthy man
I wouldn't have to work at all, I'd fool around and have a ball...
Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich man's world
A man like that is hard to find but I can't get him off my mind
Ain't it sad
And if he happens to be free I bet he wouldn't fancy me
That's too bad
So I must leave, I'll have to go
To Las Vegas or Monaco
And win a fortune in a game, my life will never be the same...
Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich man's world
Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In the rich man's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things I could do
If I had a little money
It's a rich man's world
It's a rich man's world

Oxfam: The Principal Priority Is Love

It's true that 'issues' come and go, except the vital ones...
Which tend to linger, as you know, till some start raising funds...
Poor people need to eat and drink - just like the rich folks do...
The ones that drape themselves in mink and dote on all things new...

The rich won't starve when plates are full and goblets flow with wine!
Of course, they'd say their lives are cool and everything was fine!
With chauffeurs washing limousines and servants cleaning rooms,
Yet while the rich graced magazines, the poor were placed in tombs!

How many rich guys do you meet? Not many, I would say...
How many poor guys do you greet as you go on your way?
Perhaps you give to charity... If so, God bless you, friend!
If not, you need some clarity, some focus, comprehend?

God knows if you can give or not! So God alone can judge...
God knows each blemish and each blot, each fumble and each fudge...
God knows if you will sacrifice or simply walk on by.
God knows the nasty from the nice and who will live... or die...

The baby with no mother's milk, the rich man in his bed,
The starlet draped in sumptuous silk, the leper filled with dread...
Sometimes my poems can't be sweet - they have a biting edge...
Perhaps they'll help somebody eat, if readers make some pledge...

A penny here, a pound or two, a tenner or a grand...
Perhaps this poem's just for YOU! Please lend a helping hand!
If not, the starving babies cry... the sick find no reprieve...
The dying merely sigh, 'Goodbye...' and then this world they leave...
