Too Afraid To Live

the mask that wore a face
is gone in death
too often was dead in life

a mask in life
too afraid to live
too afraid to feel

afraid to reach out in affection
due to fear of possible rejection
not to try is phobia poor resolution

what is best test answer solution...
a kindness compassionate revolution...
love undeserved a divine institution...

to not reach out in genuine affection...
due to fear of face slap rejection...
not to try is a coward’s poor resolution...

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XCVI: Fear

I don’t afraid of being old, I’m only afraid of being weak
I don’t afraid of being ugly, I’m only afraid of being useless
I don’t afraid of being nameless, I’m only afraid of being not loved
I don’t afraid of being lost, I’m only afraid of being blind
I don’t afraid of being dumb, I’m only afraid of being hopeless
I don’t afraid of being poor, I’m only afraid of being ungrateful
I don’t afraid of being loser, I’m only afraid of being coward
I don’t afraid of being bound, I’m only afraid of being fake
I don’t afraid of being wrong, I’m only afraid of being oblivious
I don’t afraid of being suffered, I’m only afraid of being surrender
I don’t afraid of being alone, I’m only afraid of being bored
I don't afraid of being loss, I'm only afraid of being lied

Afraid

Do you, do you wanna bleed?
Do you, do you wanna live in vain?
Its only life
Shes so afraid to kiss
An so afraid to laugh
Is she runnin from her past?
Its only life
Shes so afraid of love
Is so afraid of hate
Whats she runnin from now? ?
Do you, do you wanna scream?
Do you, do you wanna face the strange?
Do you, do you believe?
Are you, are you afraid of change?
Its only life
Shes so afraid of this
And so afraid to ask
She hides behind her mask
Nothings ever right
Shes so afraid of pain
So afraid of blame
Its driving her insane
So insecure
There is no cure
Well, shes so afraid
Shes so afraid of death
Shes so afraid, afraid of life
The drama in her head
Getting louder all the time
Getting louder all the time
Shes so afraid, afraid to lose
Been so afraid of fame
Everyday she feels the same
Its driven her insane...
Its driven her...
Its driven...
Its...
Another broken pretty thing

Fear Of Dying

I'm not afraid of standing still
I'm just afraid of being bored
I'm not afraid of speaking my mind
I'm just afraid of being ignored

I'm not afraid of feeling
and I'm not afraid of trying
I'm just afraid of losing
And I am afraid of dying

Without you yes I do and I hope that you do too
Without you yes I do
Without you yes I do and I hope that you do too
Without you yes I...

I'm not afraid of being sick
I'm more afraid of being well
I'm not afraid
Put the gun in my hand
I'm just afraid it will hurt like (hurt like) hell

I'm not afraid of screaming
and I'm not afraid of crying
I'm just afraid of forgetting
And I am afraid of dying

Without you yes I do and I hope that you do too
Without you yes I do
Without you yes I do and I hope that you do too
Without you yes I...

Fear of
Fear of
Fear of
Fear of

I'm not afraid of looking ugly
I couldn't care what they say
I'm not afraid of happy endings
I'm just afraid my life won't work that way

I'm not afraid of forgiveness
I absolve you everything
I'm not afraid of lying...
But I am afraid of dying

Without you yes I do and I hope that you do too
Without you yes I do
Without you all I do is sit and think about you
Without you yes I...

Fear Not the Unknown Face of Fear

You cant predict what you'll be afraid of next,
just hope with time the fear will fade.

I look back at all
that frightened me
as child and laugh.
Before cancer, organ failure,
global takeover or sudden car crash,
there were ufos, bolts of lightning,
Spielberg's E.T. and
thoughts of my parents divorcing,
peewee herman made me cry
as did the thought of my father
being deployed to fight in a foreign war.

There were the unknowns waiting in my closet,
the shadows lurking outside my window.
Thought of scorpions and blackwidows,
stinging and biting,
as I went to put on my shoes.

Then came the fear
of not being accepted as cool;
what brand is my shirt,
what brand are your shoes?

Fear to speak
afraid of judgment
afraid of asking for help
afraid of my own scary self
the fear of mirror reflection
afraid of peer rejection
fear of the snickers
afraid of the whispers
afraid of opinion
fear of the truth
fear of goodbyes
afraid of hellos
fear of the dark
afraid of the bed
fear of my own frightful head
wosrt of all the fears
the fear surrounding the dead

No fear now in the comforting voice,
assuring the fear is all inside my head.

Afraid?

Too many people are afraid to speak.
Is it because they're too damned weak?
Afraid to stand out
afraid to shout
or just plain afraid and meek?

Too many people are afraid to yell.
Is it because they're afraid of hell?
Afraid of the crowd,
afraid to be loud
or just plain afraid of death's knell?

Too many people are afraid to hear.
Is it because of what they fear?
Afraid of the unknown,
afraid to be shown
or just plain afraid of what isn't clear?

Fear, fear
It is always here.

I'm Not Afraid Of Live

I am not afraid of life
of the poor man's struggle
of the killer's knife
I am not afraid of life
of an insane rage
of the minimum wage
I am not afraid of life

I am not afraid of life
I am not afraid of life

But I see an old lady with a shopping bag
and I wonder is life a drag

I am not afraid of pain
but it hurts so bad
I feel so mad
no one see the truth
there's nothing to gain
a life goes down the drain
don't want to die at an early age

I am not afraid of life
I am not afraid of life

But I see a street crazy shivering with cold
is it a crime to be old

there's the threat of the nuclear bomb
we know it's wrong
we know it's wrong
is there a chance for peace
will the fighting ever cease
mankind's almost out of luck
a maniac could blow us up

I am not afraid of life
I am not afraid of life

but I get down on my knees and I pray
is there hope for the world today

Fear within my pain

what is fear?
how can you tell if you're afraid...

till the other night i thought that i feard nothing
but i do fear
within my pain
i am afraid of something that is not clear to me,

why do i fear something thats unknown to me
fear what is fear...

when i used to fear something i faced it

but i do not know what i fear i just feel afraid
i havent had a good nightssleep in days
even weeks
but why
i can not help but think
why fear, fear does not show weakness
but yet im weak
i can not face more days with this pain,
let along with this fear

Shaken

Your shaken with grief
Your shaken by death
Your shaken with horror
Your shaken with the cold
But no matter how you feel, life must go on
The word will not stop and wait for you
After all you are human
You are afraid you will be laughed at
Remember that everyone is entitle to there opinion
And you to yours
Move on and don’t look back in the darker days when you were shaken by grief, death, horror, and cold
Death, horror, and grief you have no control of it
But you have control of your emotions, feelings, and fears
Put a little laughter in your life
Learn to laugh from the inside out
Behind the mask you hide your face so no one can see how you feel
You are afraid of your fears and don’t want other people to know how You feel
It’s okay to feel the way you feel
Remove the mask from your face and let your fears and feelings be shown

Sympathetic Character

I was afraid you'd hit me if i'd spoken up I was
afraid of your physical strength I was afraid
you'd hit below the belt I was afraid of your
sucker punch I was afraid of you reducing me
I was afraid of your alocohol breath I was afraid
of your complete disregard for me I was afraid
of your temper I was afraid of handles being
flown off of I was afraid of holes being punched
into walls I was afraid of your testosterone

I have as much rage as you have
I have as much pain as you do
I've lived as much hell as you have
and i've kept mine bubbling under for you

you were my best friend
you were my lover
you were my mentor
you were my brother
you were my partner
you were my teacher
you were my very own sympathetic character

I was afraid of verbal daggers I was afraid of the
calm before the storm I was afraid for my own
bones I was afraid of your seduction I was afraid
of your coersion I was afraid of your rejection
I was afraid of your intimidation I was afraid of
your punishment I was afraid of your icy silences
I was afraid of your volume I was afraid of your
manipulation I was afraid of your explosions

I have as much rage as you have
I have as much pain as you do
I've lived as much hell as you have
and i've kept mine bubbling under for you

[chorus]
you were my keeper
you were my anchor
you were my family
you were my saviour
and therein lay the issue
and therein lay the problem

Death, My Dear Old Friend

Can you tell me
what it feels like,
to be afraid of death?

I do not know
what it's like
to fear death.

Death,
I am not scared.
Why should I be?

I am nothing
If I die
Nothing would change

NO tears would be shed
No one would care
No one would notice

So why should I fear death?
Others don't value my life
And I certainly don't

People think I'm happy!
They believe this mask I wear!
They believe all my bullsh*t!

I have no fear
Death is my friend!
And I welcome him with open arms!

So can you tell me
What is fear?
What is death?

Why should I fear death?
Why should I care?
Am I even important?

The Right Mask

One night a poem came up to a poet
From now on, it said, you must wear a mask.
What kind of mask? asked the poet.
A rose mask, said the poem.
I've used it already, said the poet,
I've exhausted it.
Then wear the mask that's made out of
a nightingale's song, use that mask.
Oh, it's an old mask, said the poet,
it's all used up.
Nonsense, said the poem, it's the perfect mask,
still, try on the god mask,
now that mask illuminates heaven.
It's a tight mask, said the poet,
and the stars crawl about in it like ants.
Then try on the troubador's mask, or the singer's mask,
try on all the popular masks.
I have, said the poet, but they fit so easily.

The poem was getting impatient,
it stamped its feet like a child,
it screamed. Then try on your own face,
try the one mask that terrifies,
the mask only you could possibly use,
the mask only you could wear out.

The poet tore at his face til it bled,
this mask? he yelled, this mask?
Yes, said the poem, yes.

But the poet was tired of masks,
he had lived too long with them,
he snatched at the poem and stuck it in his face.
Its screams were muffled, it wept, it tried to be lyrical,
it wriggled into his eyes and mouth.

Next day his friends were afraid of him,
he looked so distorted.
Now it's the right mask, said the poem, the right mask.
It clung to him lovingly and never let go again.

Courage

It was said that courage is the mastery of fear…
But not the total absence of it…

I was afraid to love,
I was afraid of pain.
I was afraid of big responsibilities,
I was afraid of having serious priorities…
I was totally afraid to fall for you.

But I need the guts; I need the courage because I do.

I need the courage to be brave,
To learn to face my life ahead…
The courage to learn to live with you…
And I know…
That the courage and the strength that I need would really comes from you!

Fear is inherent

Boldness is a mask for fear;
Kindness too.
Anger is a mask for fear;
Prayer too.
To appease is a mask for fear;
To please too.
Fear is inherent in life
Like water in living bodies.

Masquarade

You and me
Alone in the corner
You took out your mask
And showed me your true identity
You told me everything
From the darkest moment of your life to all your blissful moment
You told me all those little secrets about you which no one knows about
You trust me, you said
And i do trust you
Im mystified
I did try to unleash my mask
And to show you the real me
But i was afraid
I was afraid that you wont accept me
I was afraid that you'll me in darkness
And because of that i tied back my mask
Ive hidden my true identity from you
It feels so wrong
But i dont wanna lose you
Because...
I love you

Stop Telling Yourself You Are Afraid

Be bold!
Stop telling yourself you are afraid.

So many moments left and each precious.
Intoxicating fears no one should adopt.
Or caress with steps avoiding a happiness...
That comes with breath,
To breathe without regrets met!
That is the daily test one can master.
Be bold!
Stop telling yourself you are afraid.
Parade your life,
As if the gift given was right!

Just know each path has obstacles to pass.
To wonder if others have them...
And compare which ones are more daring,
Introduces fear.
Don't declare you invited fears approaching near.
Fear is used for one purpose!
To delay faith in doubt.
Carried on shoulders and displayed about.
To mask upon Sunless landscapes.

Be bold!
Stop telling yourself you are afraid.
Parade your life,
As if the gift given was right!
Command to lead.
Resist the bleeding of your emotions...
To allow weaknesses felt to be confirmed.
You did not earn that from your birth.
Your worth is much more valued!

Be bold!
Stop telling yourself you are afraid.
You are not here to sacrifice,
A life that hides from joy!
Employ satisfaction and live!

People are afraid

The people are not afraid when they resume routine
As they have left all worries to the power divine
Worship the God and he may provide the means to dine
Rest all will be looked after when time turns fine

The poor must stay where they are supposed
The doors must remain as it is and almost closed
The system we talk about is for all those
Who live under constant fear to be deposed?

Does any one not know that justice is purchased?
Do we not know democracy is hijacked and chased?
We all know but have the patience to witness
We have turned coward and remained brut on face

Why at all we need delayed justice?
Did we not give pledge and promises?
To uphold the sanctity and decorum of the institution
Breach the rules and still uphold the constitution?

We need action packed program
Safe travel in rail, bus or tram
All essential items within reach
We need no hollow words to teach

We are governed by the laws
But has many flaws
Justice is delayed
Even death sentence is stayed

It has been eclipsed
Opportunity is missed
Country must be given first priority
Nothing should be taken away as charity

Let it be governed for the people
Poor, rich have taken part in struggle
Let it be shared with honor and peace
Life must be lived with joy and at ease

What I Wanted To Say But Never Could

9-10-07
I’ve tried to tell you
I’ve tried to say it
Just never could find the words to
My words float off into the distance when I’m around you
All the cleaver, and intelligent things I want to say go out the window
When I’m around you with people around us
It seems I always choke on my words
Ya I know it’s kind of childish but I just cant help it
I just want to say so many things to you but I cant say them
I can’t tell you what I need to tell you in person so maybe
My poetry can say it for me

You’re a nice, kind, funny, respectable, and mature guy
Mature enough for me not to worry about you telling everyone
What I wanted to say but never could

There isn’t a day that I don’t think
I don’t wonder
What it’s like to be with you
What it’s like to be the girl with you
What it’s like to be in your arms
What it’s like to feel your kiss
What your hand feels like against my skin
There isn’t a week that doesn’t go by that I don’t kick my ass
For not telling you what it is that I want to tell you

If I tell you I’m afraid
Of you laughing in my face
Afraid of you saying I’m not good enough for you
I’m like dirt under your feet
Afraid of rejection
Afraid of no one loving me
Afraid of being alone
But what am I saying
After all it’s you I’m talking about here
Your nicer then that

So go a head if you want to
Break my heart
You wont see my tears
If that’s what you want
I’m a big girl
I can take it
Even if the answer is no
I’ll still say that your one of the three guy’s
Who I would ever even think about
Asking
Do you love me
I don’t think so but
Miracles can happen

I love you and would love to be your girlfriend
That is what I’ve wanted to say but never could
