Take Salt Season New Meals

leaf meals taste spicy
bless mind to empty belly
spirit how leaf full briefly
transforms gift food energy

prepares meals for all souls
alone lost who homeless roam
life goes on be glad bridges
burning are not your home

take salt season new meals
for each lonely hurt traveller
pain commercial transitions
breaks breeds dream weaver

life purpose may begin in
kindness helping homeless kitten
waste rambling ways bless in
restore love in hope heart written

A Lesson of Life (Thanksgiving)

(dedicated to Ms. Elī na Garanč a, a great mezzo-soprano)

This autumn is so relief
I hope it is a purely day
I have spiritual sense
Inside my very heart

I would like to attend
The ceremony or travel
Long distances with my family
I hope we have a large dinner too

We are as a family
Gather together
Yes, it’s the time
To a family reunion

I invite my all family, all friends
We are happily cooking together
We are happily eating together
We are happily talking together

Sweet potatoes
Pumpkin pie
Cranberries
A turkey

When crops are gathered
We are all thank God
We would also celebrate
National Unity, the harvest

I share what I have
With those who don’t have
I provide free meals
For the poor, old people, homeless

I prepare meals for them
I serve meals for them
I give meals for them
I sing Prayer of Thanksgiving with them

(inspired by Thanksgiving Celebration)

Homeless

Homeless;
- Down by the muddy Mississippi
Skinny as a rail,
Sleeping under the old Eads bridge
Feeling low, dirty, and frail -
Homeless;
- With less than two coins
In both pockets,
Empty eyes
Look through sunken sockets -
Homeless;
- So many people walk right on by
I wonder how many care,
They all keep moving
Even though they stare -
Homeless;
- Lost a job
Lost a home,
Lost a family
Lost all hope -
Homeless;
- Where will I go from here
What should I do,
I'm so thankful when the weather's fair
And the skies are blue -
Homeless;
- Don't know the day nor season
And, yea, it sure gets cold at night,
I've got an old sleeping bag
I'll be alright -
Homeless;
- There's so many of us out here
Without a home,
Even so
I feel so very alone -
Homeless;
- It's a tough situation
Not pretty, just true,
And at any time
It could happen to you -
Homeless;
- Hey buddy...
Could you spare a dime,
And say a prayer for us
... sometime -
- I'm just homeless, not less human...

Greedy poem Gannet

I stuff my face with poems here
The meals served up in reams
I indulge in wordy gluttony
I'm bursting at the seams

But still you serve me more and more
Just like a pushing Aunt
I eat and eat all that I can
But finish? I just can't

You cook and bake and fry and grill
The most delicious food
I want to at least try it all
So you don't think me rude

Even 'back of cupboard' tins
Will not go out if date
And if you all stopped cooking
All the meals would still taste great

There so much here to be consumed
Enough to feed the planet
I savour all I can
As I'm a greedy poem gannet

I've started cooking recently
To add into the mix
I have a mind of recipes
Do try the meals I fix!

A Food For Everything!

Meals are the food for the body;
Knowledge is the food for the mind;
Meditation is the food for the spirit;
Music is the food for the love of heart;
Dreams are the food for the consciousness;
Prayer is the food for the Almighty;
Love is the food for the living heart;
Thoughts are the food for the brain;
Colourful ink is the food for the pen;
Ideas are the food for the stories;
Truth is the food for the will;
Sun’s energy is the food for the plants;
Plants are the food for the living beings;
But one man’s food is another man’s poison!

Returning food

(This is a fictional poem)

You keep sending your food back because you aren't satisfied.
If you send it back just once more, we are going to step outside.
You say that my food stinks but you don't realize that I'm a great chef.
My meals have caused food poisoning but they've caused no deaths.
You said that your bacon was burned and your eggs were runny.
I'm going to kick you in the crotch and you won't think it's funny.
You keep complaining about your meals, nobody likes a whiner.
You say that I cook worse than that chef who owned Mel's diner.
I'm getting pissed because of the meals that you return.
I hold the worlds record for food that causes heartburn.

On Clear Pond

ON a clear pond
not far away from the house
there live two
frogs
who blend well in their
croaking
during the rainy season

contented on a lotus leaf
for a home
and few moths,
bugs and
flies for their
meals
they are happier on this
simple terms
together

there is no marriage
for them to
boast
but it is still death
that does them part

Because we only feed in the United States less than 1 per cent of the meals, most of them are eaten elsewhere. Most meals are eaten at home. So to make McDonald's the target is not going to solve the problem.

Defenceless At Present

Reading about doing enjoyable things and
living life ‘within' to escape experience &
make living conditions unimportant; is
not working, food still makes me ill

I cannot escape food intolerance effects,
vainly seeking spiritual growth- I am in
pain after meals - trying to overcome
depression by cherishing dreams

of love unconditional, offering love and
respect to all while trying to accept the
inevitable caught up in a tornado,
discomfort making me dumb

I've lost the fighting spirit, it's useless
to appreciate life simply because pain
has abated when I know the pain will
return - I am defenceless at present

The only escape from pain: stay hungry
but I detest living on an empty stomach
though this half-life of slumbering pain
does not render me immobile

It destroys my well-being and joie de
vivre, leaving me stranded in
paralysed despair…

Homeless, Na

He was unwanted so parents abandoned
Homeless, loveless grown as the orphan.
Can't stay more in orphanage of ill treat
would escape from there for life's retreat.

Has a dream of a home where he can live
with respect, comfort, bliss and peace.
He doesn't have money, to buy one little.
He collects and sells junk and scrap metal.

Every dawn and dusk used to pull cart
To increase the income he would work hard.
Sleeps in the cart or a shipping container.
deposits in bank, savings after meals, whatever.

Years passed dropp and dropp make ocean;
to buy a house, now he has money enough.
Now no more, Na, would live near gutter.
In a bank account he has one million dollar.

No God! sudden pain takes him to hospital
where Na is diagnosed of dreadful cancer.
He can't take money, unable to prove identity;
no evidence of his existence was there officially.

Before court ruled for identity, he was dead
Na, born homeless, as well, died homeless.

A New leaf

There’s a new leaf upon the Tree
A thousand, thousand have been before
In the life of this great tree
Yet, the Tree rejoices, and is glad
For there is a New Leaf upon the tree

The roots are deep, and hidden
Tis one tree from root to branch
And lives in and through each leaf
The hearts’ smile resurrected
Through the New leaf upon the tree

Like the stars of heaven
New leaves have been many
And so they all are One
For they all share the same root
Bless the New leaf upon the tree

Perfection in the Blessing
Joy released in tears of love
The strength in life will comfort
From root to God above
A New leaf upon the tree

Beauty, Truth, and life
Complete from root to branch
When life’s cycle turns
Leaves fall to nourish roots
And behold, a New leaf upon the tree

Sonnet: Ash Wednesday Pleas

God, turn the Wheel of Time to usher in
An era of new hope and joy, mind’s peace;
My heart afilled by sorrow, mortal sin
Is weary of its wages and disease!

God, bring the season of great happiness;
No longer can I bear my string of woes;
I need your mercy, love and forgiveness;
I hate the ways of men and how life goes.

God, give back my harmony in life;
Restore the contentment I had possessed;
I need your special help in meeting strife;
Oh, make me whole again: keep my soul bless’d!

The devils roam to destroy souls this Lent!
Oh, let me pray fervently and repent!

Beloved parents

all the while, they both enjoy, all the time they rejoice
in every minute they always think, all the way everything
will be fined

now you come, in every lines they remember, for every
day they want it to be, in your side, they always pray, that
you will always be okey

rain my go, sun will stay where in their lap you will be carried
wondering always that you will be happy, for a mother and
father you will always will stay

as you grow, they waited you that, you will be free, in harm
in danger they watch every minutes of the day, for mama
and papa, your so dear to thee

in every meals they hold you so tight, even spoiled food, they
eat so bright, as you laugh, makes them so crazy for a baby,
a child likes you is so dear to see

what wonder does they brings, that all the way, we brings, is
nothing but a dream, oh mama and papa your so great, such
a lovely heart you hold that makes me glad

hold me mama, guide me papa, the road is dark that only you
can light, make my heart so empty, that only you can full, for
in my life knows not the meaning of love

thank you... bless me... light me in the wisdom that i can't see,
live me, even my heart is not all that makes me free, but i
know that you will not leave me

for you are my dear mama and papa of my heart......who always
see my being me

In LIfe...Unless There Is Pain...There Can Not Be Joy

You Are The Pain and The Joy

You are the Pain and the joy
on the stage of life.

You are the pain hunger and the joy
of food on ones table.

You are the pain of the homeless,
and the joy, of the home,
in His heart.

You are the pain on a bitter,
winter day and the joy, in
the warmth of the sun.

You are the pain and joy, in the
solitude, of those moments alone.

You are the pain and joy, that
lingers in ones heart.

You are the pain in music that is bad,
and you are the joy, in my song
of life.

You are the pain, in the tragedies
of the world, and the joy in the
goodness of people.

You are the pain of the orphans of
the street, and the joy, in a
mothers love.

You are the pain, in a sometime unjust
world, and the joy in the spirit
of ones heart.

You are the pain, in the loss of
loved ones, and the joy, when they
are seated at His table.

You are the pain of self destructive
addiction and the joy in redemption.

You are the pain, in the sicknesses of
this world, and the joy in the
hope of recovery.

You are the pain in the misery of the poor,
and disenfranchise, and the joy, in
the parts of society, that attempts to,
raise them up.

You are the pain and you are the joy,
in all things. For you see, in life, there
can not be joy...unless there is pain.
