A Thousand Flamenco Fires
dust darkened brown mustard
pale black rider ridge shadowed
there is a resolute stillness about
you in your solemn purpose trod
onward motion do you ride resolved
soul determined to certain death filled

this is your pure youth white polished
marble fresh or bone china bowl of life fully rounded
you ride not high upon summit peaks or ridge rim but
deep in valley contemplation bottom sentenced grave fated
upon life’s word ripple rim many brown blood tears
fall for you cut out from heart centre in a corrida community
mourning every leaf fallen from Spanish passion trees
withers already a few begin to merge into mud
viewpoint ridges away distance horseback astride merged
you appear legless riding down into death cloud

Mind Song Whale Song Sung
poetic thoughts passed
through me part of mind
song whale song sung
through huge oceans
throughout this world
through water world
oceans are like God’s tears
cried through love of us
love creations slaughtered
as you hunt us down kill us
delight in seas red harvest blood
feast upon our sacrifice flesh
until then we sing mind songs
in love life swimming oceans
in light near surface or darkness
found in pressure ocean depths
all is same one in love life waters
we sing our love in life worships

illuminating darkness
kindling star fires

star sky glories
in imaginations

future generations
fresh minds
dancing torches

bright flicker soul fires

Hope Always To Write
'hope always to write more
not to be a good poet'
the words of my friend
Hosny Soliman defined
my thoughts perfectly
to write just a little more
to gift just a little more
to give just a little more
with no thought wasted
upon desire to write
a good poem a great poem

Poet Honours Poet Across Cultures
the wheel turns
full circle
turning turning
‘Terence George Craddock
With Honour On My Page’
is the poem ‘Ancient Egyptian
Women Bathe In River Nile’
which was inspired by the poem
‘The Story of River Nile
with Egyptian Women’
by Hosney Soliman.
Poet honours poet all with ears
to listen, hear our mind song,
flowing from the River Nile;
the sphinx, the pyramids,
melting in golden skin colours,
as rebirth awakening Nile floods
washing over our listening souls,
through skies eyes
of freedom worship.
We hounour our love
of freedom liberty beauty
which God wrote into all souls.
God bless Hosney, let us
continue to sing
freedom songs
together in light.

The sound of Sunday is not holy
Mauro Giuliani’s guitar
Is played
Sonata erotica
I hear it
As I bow down
My head
My right hand
And all five fingers
Supporting
Like five pillars
To this temple
Of an unwashed
Face
Attentive to giuliani’s
Sonata erotica
On a Sunday
I face a road
Sliced by sounds
Of motorcycles
Without any
Silencers
Sonata erotica
Flamenco guitar
Entering my ears
Resting on my head
My guests this
Sunday noon
Flamenco notes
Dancing
With dainty feet
Stamping on
My brain
Erotica on Sundays
Flamenco dancers
In pink
My eyes follow
The hands
And the hips
And the feet
To this surging
Dainty Desires
In a sense
Sleep is a stranger
Whose name
I have yet to
spell.
the face of prayer
is a little bit
sketchy
its eyes
closed
its nose
blocked
by so much
phlegm
i breathe
something
erroneous
to my heart
my sister
the religious
&
the piety
as usual
is angry.

Soulless Man
Heart of a thousand broken pieces
like gravel or ground glass.
A billion microscopic splinters
that tear the flesh apart.
Intense internal bleeding
yet all beneath the snow
drowning, in fullness of own blood,
none of which will show.
Pain without expression
in the ruptured void below.
Like a tyre with a thousand punctures,
the air of feeling can never fill.
Intensity of emotions, capacity of receiving,
never again to know.
