Simple Solutions
When I was a young man, I
used to ask this question.
“Words are the tools of my trade.
What am I? ”
A simple succinct question.
No one ever knew the answer,
I am about to impart to you.
“A poet. A man to whom
words are sacred.”
Now I am old born old, and I
have a question, to ask of you!
“What is the quintessential value
of the entire human race? ”
“quintessence, from Latin quinta essentia, fifth essence!
The highest essence,
that coming after the four elements
forming the substance of the heavenly bodies,
the pure essence of any substance.”
? /? /? /? /? /? /? /? /?
guess
guess
guess
yet still uncertain
or do you know?
Did you work this out
with your amazing
astonishing powers
focusing reasoning?
Or was it a moments inspiration?
A moment of eureka?
A transcendental moment?
“eureka, from Greek heureka, ‘I have found it’
Cry of triumph at a discovery. The exclamation
(‘I have found it’) uttered by Archimedes
when he discovered the means of determining
(by specific gravity) the proportion of base
metal in Hiero’s crown.” Purity of gold in a crown.
Simple solutions achieved after great exoneration.
A testament to ideals applied in time well spent.
Race quest is to overcome
feeble foolishness typifying youth
and sudden ignorance judgements
defining limited intellect.
Upward psychospiritual ascent
widening expression
achieves instant (intellectual?)
cosmic all knowing
translating latent
unconscious collective thought
into intuitions awareness
creation nurturing new
psychological and social organizations
resonating critical mass,
higher guidance, aspirations
inherent in luminous divine spark.

Oh So Simple Question
I have a question
I have a simple thought
I am the border obsession
I am the clever, the taught
You have my aggression
You have a complication
You are an angry expression
You are the unheard conversation
We have a serious problem
Something simple yet trying
You understand, you look solemn
You know exactly what question I’m implying
Now concentrate, ask it now
Your eyes beg not to be told
Tell it now, but tell it how?
How to tell this question I hold
Wait! Look at your eyes
Now desperate to know
The question I hide
The question I knew not long ago
NO! I no longer remember
The simple question I wanted to ask
That cold day, in that snowy December
Oh how I hate this shy mask
Maybe I will once again
Think of a simple question
Whilst I walk down memory lane
Maybe, one day, you will hear my confession

to the One Beyond Words
i stand at the coldness of the night, counting the stars
believing that i can do it.
my mind had just closed
i stroll at the sea shore enjoying picking up some pebbles
of different sizes and colors.
oh! my eyes and my body
turn restless
i paint and picture beautiful places, feeling that my interest
would be the answer of my busy hour.
it gives me boredom
i walk in a little while, knowing that it would give a little space to
relax. i find nothing but a day of tiredness
and wonder what i really want
i partake the party, go with my friends, painting the town red, still the
emptiness within me keeps me wondering
i mingle with my friends in every social gathering, attending congressional services. it doesn't satisfy my
longing which i can't describe
in a very simple word
i look up again in the sky, believing that the answer to my inquiry,
my imagination, my question, my longing, my happiness, my anger
my hope, my blindness, my doubt and even to the
extent of asking why, i have lived this
crazy question of life
i have no reason why this precious inquiry i have would mean to me
for i know that no exact word or words can describe
the word which i want to feel. my heart searches all the fulfilling satisfaction of my soul. yet! confusion and nothing
has achieved as to what is life
at the end the emptiness of my soul reveals that it is beyond words
is the answer of what is today. it is a moment of moments
the essence of our destiny, an existence that life
has to live to its fullnest
in this migthy words

You Just Haven't Discovered That Yet
'Mommie?
What is substance and quality?
We've been given an assigment,
To describe what it is in an essay.'
Substance is something one wishes to have,
When a missing of a quality has been overpriced.
'I see.
So...
In other words,
You're telling me...
You have no clue either.'
What did your father say about it?
'He said,
Substance is something sacrificed...
When the quality of it has been diminished,
To the getting of it only lasting for two minutes.'
Go tell your father,
He need not worry about the quality of the substance,
Any longer.
'Why is it,
When I ask you two a question...
The answers have nothing to do,
With my assignment.'
They do.
And they will.
You just haven't discovered that yet.

Ancestral domain my quest
history tells on people, geography, race, culture and
events, is a wonderful topic for, the process gives
meaningful aspect of human sphere
great civilization started in common principle, an
inherent idea, that all men are created equal, above
other living animal who lives in this wonderful earth
a unquestionable notion that all species are free to
procreate, free to exist, free to subdue of what is
given and has all the opportunity to live in any given
time
the land is the only living testimony that witness the
existence of our races in many ages, for it is the race
who own the land, any dishonor of the human race is
worse than death
not need to go, beyond cultural languages and principle
but only we need to know the basic principle that before
the culture comes to existence the human lives, owns
the land
defination of terminology, even indigenous people as
defind has nothing to say on the real meaning of race,
words definition, hutchs the essence of human race
it is now the quest of every race, to praxis and achieve
our meaningful existence, for only our race lives forever,
and zeal by time in the history of ancestral domain,
a quest of our human race.......

Prose: On The Existence Of God
A brief statement about certain controversial questions and issues relating to some core religious topics such as:
What is God?
Where is God?
Who Is God?
and a new or old philosophy and perspective (depending on the readers views) offering an explanation to these age old questions.
Prelude:
The proof of That which is not restricted to any construct of the human mind and is beyond imagination is Divine. This is sometimes revealed to a select few in the form of a revelation or philosophy from time to time and is what history calls religion and is also uplifting and blissful.
The ordinary human mind and intellect cannot comprehend or fathom that which is beyond it but only staggers at the attempt, bewildering as it is to the ego which is the seat of the mind and limited individual personality. (See Note #1)
Standpoint 1
It is generally stated that neither the existence nor the non-existence of God can be proven. But if there is absolutely nothing or everything is somehow taken away, then whatever is left or there is that remains can only be the place, source or state from which everything is brought into existence and sustained for a while within its own infinite being and by its own infinite or unlimited latent capacity of power, knowledge and blissful freedom of imagination and creation.
Standpoint 2
The state of absolute nothing (colorless, formless, odorless, indivisible, unfathomable) , if there ever was such a state, would then be the complete and infinite unmanifest state or prior condition of this Boundless and Eternal Being or God from where all the universe, as we have come to know and see to date, has come and in which it still must exist without any exception regardless of what there appears now to be.
Standpoint 3
All the planets, moons, suns, stars, galaxies, nebulae and whatever else there may be are nothing other than, relatively speaking, like the atoms, molecules, compounds, cells etc that go to make up the body of a living physical entity, and in this specific and particular case, the manifest cosmic being known as or called the universe, and the so called black holes would then be found to be the arterial pathways of the energy or substance known as dark energy and matter which is of a non atomic nature (See Note #2) . It should also be noted that the simplest and first atom or atomic substance or element is hydrogen, which is made up of just an electron and a proton, and is the most abundant atomic substance in the universe. In other words from the one formless substance of dark energy and matter come hydrogen) , helium, lithium, etc (in the order of the atomic scale) : from the simplest and lightest to the most complicated, densest and heaviest.
Standpoint 4
This then is the reason why we should consider the infinitely large of the outer universe with all the cosmic forces and objects known and unknown on the one hand, while its opposite, the infinitely small, being that of the inner universe, in the form of man's mind and emotions together with the sub and atomic forces on the other, both co-existing at the same time without an apparent beginning or end, that make up the whole visible and invisible creation which is seemingly expanding, until the endless end, in something greater than itself, for how else could this ever be? (See Note #4)
Standpoint 5
The preceeding points help to validate the statements in the scriptures which say "as above so below" and that "we are made in the image and likeness of God" (ie: our soul or spirit within) , and an aspect of Einstein's theory of Relativity that mentions or postulates of ‘the curvature of space' and certain aspects of Quantum Physics. The preceeding points also bring together both views of the so called ‘Big Bang' and ‘Steady State' theories that have gained popularity in modern times and where the former seems to be the more widely accepted view.
Standpoint 6
The five so called elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether mentioned in certain philosophical texts and which correlate to the five lower energy centers (or Chakras) of the human body are complemented by two higher ones being those of Light and Sound of the two higher centers. This also explains the scripture where it is written "in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God" and where "God said let there be light and there was light" (See Note #3) which indicates that from the ‘Word of God' or primeval sound came light, then ether, air, fire, water and earth in a descending order. The last five mentioned elements deal specifically with life and conditions on our own world and also other worlds where one, some or all of the seven kingdoms of evolution are to be found in various stages of development.
Standpoint 7
If man is made in the image and likeness of God then whatever can be seen outside can also be seen inside in the sense that there is nothing but God that really exists and that the essence of God is in man's soul and spirit. An analogy of this would be to look at a dropp of an infinite ocean (without boundaries or divisions) and to recognize or realize that the dropp of the ocean is nothing other than the ocean itself which may apparently seem to be separate or limited due to a bubble of ignorance and limited perception (the effect of duality or God's Cosmic Illusion or Maya) . The illusion of duality becomes less apparent and is indeed negligible to the point of non existence as man evolves spiritually and realises his oneness with the essence or real part of his inner being which is non other than a dropp in (not separate from) this indivisible infinite ocean of God. This is where an individual sees or perceives the underlying all-pervasive reality everywhere, also known as or called the seeing of 'Unity in Diversity'. When this 'essence' is made the focus of an individual's consciousness and is continually invoked upon by various means it then becomes activated or awakened, so to speak, from a dormant latent state, to one of a highly charged and source seeking intelligent energy that is returning back to its real home or state from the lowest center of consciousness (gross, dense and material) in the human body to the highest centers being those in the higher parts of the body which are of a much finer or subtle consciousness and associated with light and sound (i.e. the primeval sound and light of creation) which come from God or the state of infinite consciousness. This is also the state of Absolute Nothing mentioned in Standpoint 2 above from where Absolutely Everything has come from or manifested within its own Being and the Infinite Existence (all that exists does so within God) due to the infinite latent capacity of power, knowledge and blissful freedom of imagination and creation (Standpoint 1) .

Notes:
(#1) See also my other prose titled 'God is the Highest Good'.
(#2) The universe is the infinite creation and creature of God.
(#3) See The Old and New Testaments of The Holy Bible.
(#4) We use a telescope to see into the body of the universe being incredibly large and use a microscope to see things or signs of life that are incredibly small.

One Long Love Song (IV)
exuberance of love shines blindingly,
A brilliant light
engulfing all, though there is no heat
nor pain of burning, the excitement, the fear, the freedom, the chains- all the feelings
that keep creative mania going... What zest! what zeal!
what pure human appeal!
makes me want to hug each and every friend i hold dear, the power and essence of genuine human connection

Essence
Rain from the sky,
Mixes with cloudy emotion,
Lingering behind my eyes-
A foggy recollection is given to ask,
Where before have I seen this day,
From my discordant past-
Perhaps a mountain top, or a canyon floor,
Somehow I feel this day I know,
From somewhere far before-
These mystic memories cryptically contain,
Timeless pictures of hope,
Displayed within eternities ever expanding frame-
Unsettled becomes my heart,
By this essence of thought,
Wondering if in it all am I merely watching, or actually taking part-
Is it now, or is it then,
Am I going,
Or have I already been-
There is an essence of great life so present,
Blended into each moment,
And even every living breath-
It crosses the boundaries of time,
Connecting so many hearts, souls,
And minds-
How can it be found,
Deciphered, decoded,
Understood and known-
A great and wonderful mystery,
Alluring, calling, and saving,
Through all humanity-
Capricious consternations on this, such a dark day,
Glow with the essence of the unexplainable,
Yet, shine a beautiful light to guide, along the way-
Holy is this Essence burning into the heart,
The Essence of eternity spread throughout all time,
Bringing all together at the finish, as it was at the start-
Essence bids: all come,
And find, where you are going,
Is to, where you are truly from.

How Do You Write Poetry
There is a question I am often asked,
of which I have no answer for at all.
The question is a simple one,
how do you write poetry?
To be honest I haven’t got a clue.
With me the words just trickle out
one after the other,
if they rhyme that is great
and if they don’t, I just scratch my head.
I cannot tell anyone how to write,
for me it’s just a natural thing.
I write almost everything,
novels, short stories, poems and songs.
I have even written a couple of plays,
but that was a long, long time ago.
However to tell anyone how to write,
I would not know where to begin.
The answer I give to the question is simple;
write whatever you like good or bad.
It’s yours and be proud of it
no matter what anyone else has to say.
The more you write the better you will get.
However, the most important thing
that you should always remember and that is
that you write, write, and write!

When You Ask About Her Sorry But She Already Left
your question must fall away without
an answer
she already left two days ago
or perhaps she knew about your question
and she did not like it
i guess so, but i never asked her
she was too fragile for anything like your poem.

Time Tests Measures Love Which Endures
time tests measures
love which endures
life clever twists tests
life weighs lovers hearts
'I love you' is an expression of love
'I love you' is testament in DNA time
'I love you' echoes to core of essence
'I love you' as an over used pick up line
'I will' is an intriguing question
'I will' is sealed sacred vow spoken
'I will' is love committed not broken
'I will' is unification creation spoken

Quest and question
To ask a question beyond answering
may seem to some to be a waste of mind..
and yet it may advance some reasoning,
thus, other questions, real answers find:
for instance: if a soul remains itself
and yet is re-embodied many times
until it is returned to perfect health,
no longer grimy with our human crimes –
how can we guess, in this life’s noble aim,
what hideous past so slowly drags ‘our’ feet?
And – if we knew – would then some devilish claim,
the aim, to free our self, somehow defeat?
No answer comes; the question hangs in air;
but now it has been asked, truth may appear.

Exhale in a eureka.
I got it this time Hmm, hmm,
what to say in this dismay,
as a cascade of words come spinning to me?
Climb up only to fall down the tree.
Why in all the human needs do we desire attention?
Some things I rather not mention.
I think I'm reinventing this, words that shouldn't exist, or come to me with an awe struck fatality.
Hey look their is someone who died.
What are we to surmise?
He was battling the skies
He was conquering the heavens with simple words.
Not those of the absurd.
Some people just don't get it.
Talk to teach, not preach.
Don't demand understanding.
As if your better then others.
It's about relating to the people.
What are they going through in their lives.
You have to be as one of the people.
Marching up in a deep voice.
Say hey pay attention, I'm right their with you.
In moment so cold, I'm here to tell you are not alone.
I suffer.
I endure.
I overcome.
With these words let this be done.

Words Spoken
Words spoken to self in isolation
Mystery not in question but in relation
Simple confusion in mind
Forcing others to find out its kind
Yet nice appreciation,
Applause from all over and no more questions
Mind reveals and heart opens
Ripples created and caught by fans
Why do we try to speak our mind?
Is something necessary of that kind?
Why at all you want sympathy?
That people should have soft corner and feel pity
No one has seen you breaking off?
If so, they would have definitely laughed
As you were boosting of your love at all places
All were jealous of you with frown on faces
You were afraid that you will be made victim
A simple donkey with no sense to reach home
Uncertain mind as was made of you with satire
Now you feared it will be certainly put on fire
So it is better to speak through poetry
It will be race but gaining from back door entry
No one to know who the man behind is?
What will be pain behind or tease
It is nice to appease and find solution
In one way it reduces some what tension
You have little insight with no more confusion
The answer is found within the question

Guess (should i ever give the girl i love this., ,)
Guess....
Just guess.. they're 3 words thats it, not too hard
really just 3 words my dear
you have to figure them out right here
allow me to get close....close...
closer to you before i am taken by comatose,
let me lean in and whisper my 3 words to you
the 3 words i hope you know them too
one guess and one guess only, as i
tickle and tease you, galvanize your imagination so far as to fly
can you share my joy?
maybe you will share my joy after you guess, this isn't a decoy
I'm not running, I'm honest allow me to caress
you and fondle with your hair but guess
just 3 words,3 magic ones, last hint...closer..magic... heres the spell
it changes you and me to us, now you should know quite well
guess those magic words as i lean in close.... just three...magic..three...
as you stand here right next to me
come I'll whisper them to you
but first just guess and I will guess your next words too
3 magic words, , , , closer just three to change my story
this will fill those lines and change my life as i tickle you
and tease you, , ,3 words guess i ask you answer in four
let me caress you let me be close.... guess the words

My Words
the art of expression
is what my words are penned down upon
the will of wisdom
and the essence of freedom
to bounce like a king kong
on the ping pong
glad or sad, is from within each or any
stanza of my words
from the top of my head
to the deep end of the membrane under my melanin skin
to the sensory nerves of my brain
coiled upon an ancient pane
my words,
that which mirrors my sense of thought and feeling,
that with an ancestor
that which the blood of my people
was shed for; just so simple
but my words are royal
because ‘am loyal
like an induna
and vocal
to usher-in a focal
point of the meaning of my words.
my needs
and deeds
have a lord
on board
to code my words
and shield my soul from the imp’s sword.
my words are so very simple
to understand
and overstand
‘t was my words
that kept the birds
away from the heads
of my corn
for i was born
and sworn
to live a life upon
my words are so very easy to grasp
the fewer that discern
the nobler i become
I need not to wonder
and ponder
over yonder
for such is unknown to you
and therefore you have no knowledge of me
nor are you, about my words
yes! my words is what i like
to write
for i write
what i like
to strike
a balance between
the psyche
and the mic
such is my words,
the art of penning down what is from
the mind
and rewind
to remind
my words to decide
my words
such is my words,
the art of expression
against deception
but inception
and intersection
of my words
i now tell you that
my words are the words from the art
that which i chat
to match what my heart
tells me; roger that
the art of expressing the knack of expression; my words!

Still Uncertain
There are times in your life
When the puzzle pieces start to fit together
You think you understand
Can see part of the big picture
Unless
The picture changes
And something alters it
All together
There are times in your life
When you start to see
Dots forming lines
Lines coming together
Forming a picture
Unless
The picture changes
And something alters it
All together
Universes of understanding existing in
Bigger Universes
You knew the world was flat
Until
It wasn't
My understanding is so limited
I'm a slave to the comprehension of my experience
Of what I can understand
Unless
The understanding
Changes
Most of the time
It's a really strong 'maybe'
With the hope of a possibility
Some of the time
It's a definite 'no'
Though there may be hope
For a better clue
At
Times
It's tough
When all you have to go by
Is a really strong hunch
There are millions of times you...
Second
And
Third
Guess yourself
Feeling you have read too much into it
You have over analyzed it to death
Perhaps
You are just afraid of the answer
Assumptions and hunches will only get you so far
You find yourself staring at ink blots
Telling yourself you can see a picture
Forming a story
In your head..
Unless
Something
Alters it All together
So
Hints are dropped
Like morsels of bread
Trying to help you
In your lost travels
The problem lies
In recognizing them
It doesn't always happen
In a timely manner
So,
You think you understand
What you understand
What do you understand
Becomes the question
Certainty crumbles
Like sediment
As an earthquake of confusion hits you
And, now
You've thought too much
You've thought too long
So
Does that mean
The moment is over?
I'm left in a state of
Perpetual uncertainty
Hoping
One day
I'll put all the pieces of the puzzle together
The lines won't move
Ink blots will mean something
But for now
I'm left
Uncertain.

0250 To Indian Poets
'O Lord, I am Your goldsmith on this earth'
sang Sonar, Maharashtra's poet of old,
who hammered out the ingots of pure truth
to poetry, that turns speech into gold;
who sought Yourself within himself to reach,
from heart of gold, that golden mind might shine;
to sing Your praise; and find Your All in each;
reflect your Word; make human thought divine -
yet knew himself but shapeless gold You shaped;
shaped in this life, by grace, as goldsmith born;
graced with the richest substance You create,
to live and speak some gleam of You reborn.
May we be worthy of this golden race
of poets: praise in all things, Your one grace.
(Narahari Sonar - Sonar means goldsmith, which was the family profession - 13th century goldsmith, poet and saint)

The Evolution of Belief
When I was just a child
I knelt and prayed, without question,
to a god as distant and, as meaningless
To me as any far-off star.
When I was young,
There was no need for God,
Since I thought I was undefeatable.
I held within my grasp the world,
And challenged all of life.
As I grew more toward middle-age,
I saw in almost everything,
A Reality, an inexplicable Correctness,
The essence of all being as One.
When I became an elder, it was then
I recognized the essence of Reality,
And Correctness, as nothing else but
God.
