So Hard To Find

There are a few honest politicians so honest and faithful and kind
But they are such a small minority honest politicians are so hard to find
They would do almost anything for to hold on to power as power in their lives is their central theme
They put power in their lives before principle or at least that is how it does seem,
There are a few honest politicians though their type are becoming quite rare
And shady deals are concocted in high places in the bigger World out there
So much corruption in high places where success can come through deceit
Far decenter than them poor and homeless and living it rough on the street
To most politicians to lie is so easy and one lie leads to another they say
And they are referred to as 'the honorable' yet they tell more lies every day
They are tainted by their lust for power to power they so desperately cling
Yet many see them as quite special and many their praises do sing
And many out there are so gullible and to the faults of the power wielders quite blind
And 'tis sad that honest politicians are becoming much harder to find.

Injection Sites

They claim that mandatory drug sentences are too expensive,
And keeping criminal drug addicts in jail could be offensive,
And injection sites on all streets would be a much better way,
They despise the mandatory drug sentences used in the USA.

Their ability to fill pages in the media should be noted,
The fact that criminals buy stuff on the street is sugar coated,
With half the alphabet after their names to prove that they are right,
Are we a Canadian herd of sheep being led out of sight?

And they can hide behind the Access to Information Act,
While politicians slide and the dressed up Supreme Court detracts,

Willingness-Nina's Story

'There was no question'
she said.
I wanted him to feel my power;
I did not want
to be the passive one
I told him to lie down
and be quiet
as I
stood above him
and gradually
moved closer
hovering above.
I was thinking that
he must feel
the feeling
of helplessness
I sometimes felt.
and I knew this man loved me
and would do whatever I wanted him to.

I moved closer
waiting for him to flinch or move
to resist
my control;
ever tightening
to see
if fright
would over take him.

To see if he trusted me.

He remained quiet.
I kissed him lightly
and lighter still
letting him
feel me touch him
but not allowing him
to touch me.

This was time
standing still
this was the eye
of the power void
he not resisting yet
me not asserting yet
but the situation still fluid.
He could not move
even if he wanted to.
He was so to speak
totally in my power.
I studied his face.
How deep did the trust go.
How long could he lie still.
How much was I willing to do?
There was tension here.

Any false response
or small resistance
would ignite the moment
and the void would split.

I felt the need
for his total surrender
and I whispered to him
'don't resist
don't move'
wanting to linger
within this my own power
to impose this.

He did
not resist
allowing me power then.
He never flinched.

And that is why I love this man.

WHO CAN WE BELIEVE? Aug 25th,2012

Where do we get politicians with their feet on the ground?
Who think Canadian rather than being completely party bound.
Who think about death with dignity and not the abortion clinics,
Politicians we can believe, who are not announcing party lyrics.

Politicians not into human rights and Trudeau's constitution,
With the hidden equalization Canadian solution,
Soft judges and parole boards who try to empty the jails,
Set vicious criminals free and don't give us much or many details.

And then it gets worse because media moguls think it's great,
Or the next drug-addict Insite free clinic without much debate,
Where judges and governor-generals come from secret lists,
Banned referendums for us as they blatantly persist.

Resist... resist with all my strength
Sometimes i find it hard to resist
I find myself thinking thoughts not be thought
It seems that to not think in this way makes my mind twist
This battle has been fought
Many times before
Yet the thoughts that are there to abhor
Not to surrender to... they're pleasurable O
As i grind my toes inside my shoe
And steady my jaw I resist the urge
And thoughts of the other... I wish to purge
These thoughts of any candidate for my wife
