Victory Operation Enduring Freedom?

They Gave Us A War That Nobody Wanted

I

They gave us a war that nobody wanted
The warnings unheard or simply discounted
The men of the Pentagon surely undaunted
Gave us a war that nobody wanted

II

The weapoms of war are tested and counted
Military hardware displayed and dismounted
Allies ignored and the enemy taunted
They gave us a war that nobody wanted

III

Divisions of men and weaponry flaunted
Ships tanks and planes in quantity granted
By death and destruction civilians are haunted
They gave us a war that nobody wanted

IV

Prime ministers presidents and generals have ranted
Television pictures and news are being slanted
Voices are raised and slogans are chanted
They gave us a war that nobody wanted

V

High powered weapoms and missiles are vaunted
The guns have been fired and the bombs have been planted
All shall be well when the foe is surmounted
They gave us a war that nobody wanted

VI

When the conflict is over and the story recounted
We'll forget the destruction and horror implanted
But remember the soldiers and statesman enchanted
By this terrible war that nobody wanted

An Argument

IT is like our guns.
We do not need it
to kill,
killing is not at all times
illegal,
self-defense for instance
our way of defending ourselves
from the assassins
the hired killers and the
mercenaries of
modern times,

the law on divorce for
instance
who likes a divorce?
you do not marry only
to think that
you have to be separated
from the one you love
someday

but there comes a time
when you need it
and you cannot use it
because it
is not there

and you will regret
not allowing it in the system

just like a condom
who likes a condom?
it is a wall between us
our flesh not touching
each other

but there are times
when you need it
because there is that need
and you have to be safe

who needs guns, condoms,
divorce?
it a matter of choice
so bring them in,
let the man in his wisdom
choose
let him be responsible

there is nothing human more
than us
who can deny
the options available in this world
it is fair
make all these available
so when you need them
you can avail of
them

let the options be myriad
for in all these activities of choices
or choosing
we become more
human
and even more divine
in what we really want to become....

Nuclear War

Fast and pure desolation
Lust the blood in my brain
Hard and dry destruction
Wet under the neutron rain
Die in this Holocaust
Scream the deflect attack
Burn before we reload
Strees before...
The power blast
WAR! A command for blood
We scream
DIE! Nothing less than
death we creep
Storm the only weather
Start the directives assassins
Warm inside the under shelter
Wait and fell your broiling skin
Hot oz one disappear
Blight in the atomic detention
Rats it's a survival breed
Destroy with deflagration
I have one track it's to kill
You'll never stop me
Running my evil way
With radioactivity
My machine comes at night
Missiles they stike
Save your life in the dark
For the loud attack
Hey! nuclear war!
I'm realy up tonite
For my last ride
Never returning at home
I'm gonna die
The war machine is not save
And i can't escape
When the bombs will hit
My face, It will drive me insane

Happy Fourth of July America!

Wanna' know how many lil' kids
Go to bed hungry in the U.SA
Each night?

If I said "over a million"
Would you sleep any
less sound tonight?

And how many of you
Would agree with me
That being a kid can be rough?

Well…over six million American kids
Get either very little food…each day
Or simply not enough.

Feelin' uncomfortable yet? I hope so! ! !
Think about it, when you're chowin' down
This bountiful 4th of July

Foreign aid paid in one year to 150 countries
Including some enemies, is 58 billion, more or less
All paid by you and I

Our roads and bridges need 2.2 trillion dollars
To be repaired and fixed
And brought up to a safe state

And all the while America crumbles
We've spent more than a trillion (not including Libya)
If futile wars in Afghanistan and Iraq… to date

And one other lil' statistic That I carped about before
on the 4th of July a couple years ago
In a little noticed, seemingly inconsequential poem

Has grown to 6440 American boys killed in action
I hate this statistic! ! It's cruel and sadistic! !
And By God… they should have been kept home! ! !

These are numbers and statistics
Too great for comprehension… by
Ordinary people like you and I

But I hope there's someone out there
That I've made a little bit more aware
And… to my complacent, naïve fellow Americans

A bountiful, happy Fourth of July

(To our leaders)

Upright Mirrors

for beheading the raceme
three bullets went into the bubbling chest the assassins
had come when she was alone with scars
on wings she sailed on voices of silence the melody
had kissed the moon in night without veil it was
dark night for blue hills they killed a bloom
of white jasmines why are you upset my love
she has gone on orange wheels towards the sun
the black sea mourns by throwing the wreaths
back on shore to protect the virginity of fishes
and waves a bleeding god disowns

Assassin

Track 1 of _Fugazi_ ---
I am the assassin, with tongue forged from eloquence.
I am the assassin, providing your nemesis.
On the sacraficial altar to success, my friend;
Unleash a stranger from a kiss, my friend;
No incantations of remorse, my friend;
Unsheath the blade within the voice,
my friend, my friend, my friend, my friend
I am the assassin, (assassin, assassin)
Who decorates the scarf with the fugi knot,
Who camouflaged emotion in the thousand-yard stare,
Who gouged the notches in the family tree,
Who hypnotized the guilt in career rhythm trance.
Assassin, assassin, assassin, assassin.
(Assassin , my friend.)
Listen as the syllables of slaughter cut with calm precision,
Patterned frosty phrases rape your ears and sew the ice incision.
Adjectives of annihilation bury the point beyond redemption,
Venomous verbs of ruthless candor plagiarize assassins' fervor.
Apocalyptic alphabet casting spell, the creed of tempered diction,
my friend, your friend, the assassin.
my friend, your friend, the assassin.
A friend in need, is a friend that bleeds...
(my friend, your friend, the assassin.)
A friend in need, is a friend that bleeds...
(my friend, your friend, the assassin.)
Let bitter silence infect the wound,
Let bitter silence infect the wound,
I am the assassin, (your friend)
I am the assassin, (your friend)
I am the assassin, (your friend)
Assassin!
You were a sentimental mercenary in a free-fire zone,
Parading a Hollywood conscience;
You were a fashionable objector with a uniform fetish,
Pavlovian slaver at the cash till ring of success.
A noncom observer, I assassin, the collector... defector.
So you resigned yourself to failure, my friend,
And I emerged the chilling stranger, my friend,
To eradicate the problem, my friend,
Unsheath the blade within the voice,
within the voice, within the voice,
within the voice.
And what do you call assassins who accuse assassins, anyway...
My friend

Seals Captured No Killed Osama Bin Laden?

If you go down to Virginia Beach your sure of a big surprise
navy seals are playing videos of shooting unarmed Bin Ladin?
USA proudly cheering shooting this 53 year old unarmed man
before his wife's eyes as peering out of his bedroom window?

the best America has got could not capture an unarmed old man
could not capture a woman without shooting her first in the leg?
yes navy seals cannot capture one married couple is a surprise
they claimed a Jihad hero used his wife as a shield told gross lies?

as Obama said they located then killed on his watch by his orders
Bin Laden political assassination aim to seal Obama's reelection?
Bin Laden's body not buried within 24 hours dumped in the sea
no photographic or DNA evidence of Bin Laden's death released?

Operation Neptune Spear the elite seal team six kill operation
under the control of the Central Intelligence Agency equipped;
with military assault rifles with attached silencer suppressors
body armor night-vision goggles and handguns plays assassins;

launch heroic mission 6 helicopters 79 Commandos 1 war dog
attacks a house with 22 civilians including their wives children?
kills 5 wounds 3 manages to captive 17 women children alive
but oh the tactical errors losing a Black Hawk stealth helicopter?

final score 1 civilian killed was actually armed the woman killed?
was not armed the seals all fast-roped to the ground then ran up
three flights of stairs to get Bin Ladin none jumped onto the roof?
USA 10 year funded Mujahideen hero against the Soviets is alive?

The New American Way # 2

in the long run
we're gonna end up
spending between 3.2
and 4 trillion dollars
in our wars in Iraq,
Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

not to mention the 100 million
a day we were spending in Libya.

the elite ghouls of the War machine
pad their pockets ... while our soldiers
fight and die.

we've maxed out the debt ceiling,
they're gonna cut social security,
medicare, and other programs
for the poor, the sick, and the
elderly.

we have children going hungry,
families homeless no way
to get medical care.
no jobs schools laying off
teachers.

we're out of time!
we have to take back the reins
from the elite now...
or we become their garbage...

no more wars!

The New American Way # 3

lets see.
you finance your multi-trillion dollar
wars 100% with China ... and leave
the burden of the debt for the
American taxpayer to pay.

meanwhile, you take the billions
(maybe trillions) of dollars profit
that you make on defense contracts,
etc ... and put it in your pockets.

i've only been in the business world
for about 25 years but i know.

(forgetting the moral and ethical
implications) as we say
here in the south:
'that dog dont hunt! '

The Unforgiven Hunt

I shouldn't be telling you this
No one should be telling you this, but
Only a few people even know
About the time of the Unforgiven Hunt-
We are on the Unforgiven Hunt, so I should tell you
I can't even tell you
What the Hunt is about
And why it is called just that-
The Hunt
But I just told you
That the Hunt is called the Hunt
For a reason-
So now I should tell you the whole story
How we came to this point
Why our features stand out
In the whole world, all the countries
First, we were like all the others
Down-to-earth, forgiving, out loud
Sharing all our secrets
But now the Hunt people regret
That we came this far
We came this far, we broke our friendship apart
Now we are on the Unforgiven Hunt
The time of the Hunt started at the time of the Hunt
No one really knows
When it was, what it was that unbalanced the scale
Of life and death-
But we are on the Unforgiven Hunt
We started the Unforgiven Hunt by saying,
"We have to increase our lifestyle, then we'll stop"
But over time, it grew to be our hobby
Beating other countries
In machines, in factories and greed
In food, in water and high standards
In shelter, in organizing, in need
We are still on the Unforgiven Hunt

Nukes and Terrors

The president of our brotherly nation
tries to strike terror in us
crying ‘nukes will hit our cities
if his country’s borders are crossed’.
We are not dribbling with nukes as he does
and our people aren’t lying on flower-beds
to have any fears for losing life
when bombs are rained on us.
In public offices shells of bribes burst daily
and the people have no place to cower.
Officers shoot those under with threats
and ‘Mementos galore’ in meetings.
Lives of workers are blown up
being driven out every three years.
Women crawl off the line of control
to garner some notes to feed their dependents.
The youths roam with guns
swearing for another freedom
but lob they bombs on the harmless.
Many a family plunge in flames
and swallow poisoned food
groaning under the weight of debts!
The public servants can’t let the cat out of the bag
as the laws scare them and the court bars them.
Honesty sleeps and snores on the filth
in the trenches of politics.
People are stabbed in the back
with fraud in business and banks new.
They have no strength to retaliate
as the powers are in the gloves of traders.
Let him hurl nukes anywhere.
They may not be worse than what we have.
Missiles with warheads are not harsher
than the shameless brutes in every walk of life.
When people bury themselves in penury
he bedecks the thoughts of war with glory.
What good fate has in store for the poor?
The general should set up mines
under the primitive cults of religions
to blow up and for love to burgeon
in the minds of all to live in peace.
