Mere Life Changing Moments
in life there will be
mere life changing moments
will you work hard?
will you stay the course?
will you rise to the moment?
time will be short
there will be much to do
time is short
there is much to do
before the long journey home

Life is a short journey.
Life is a short journey
It may be bitter
It may be honey
Life is a short journey
Choose your way
Choose your mate
You won't be early
You won't be late
Our ways may differ
But our end is there
Go by car or by train
Go on foot or by plane
Go on horseback or by rocket
Go by bike or by boat
Life is a short journey
All of us will be on time
All of us will be the same
All of us will have a luggage
Choose what to leave
Choose what to take
Choose what to build
Choose what to break
Life is a short journey
Whether you like it
Or you don't
You try to change it
But you can't
Life is a short journey.

Life Is Too Short
life is too short
Music: rudolf schenker
Lyrics: klaus meine
Have you ever seen the morning?
When the sun comes up the shore
And the silence teach the beauty for the sound
Have you ever set there waiting?
For the time to stand still
For all the worlds and stars
From turning around
And you run
'cause life is too short
And you run
'cause life is too short
Have you ever seen the glory?
When the moon is on the rise
And the dreams are close
To the ones that we love
Have you ever set there waiting?
For heaven to give a sign
So we could find the place
Where angels come from
And you run (and you run)
'cause life is too short
And you run (and you run)
'cause life is too short
There's a time that turns
Turn back time
But i don't see i can
It only works
If you believe in the truth
But there's a time to live
And a time to cry
But if you're by my side
I will try to catch a star
I'll try to catch a star
Just for you
And i run
'cause life is too short
And i run (and i run)
'cause life is too short
And i run and i run and i run and i run and i run

Show Tune II
That's the long and short of it
now you know
how I've been waiting all these years
where I'm coming from
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
now you see
just how hot hot jazz was
how it turned about, my bookcase
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
now you know
that my arrest record's
not my best record
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
now you see
how the Past's like a love
you can neither leave nor live
that's the long and short of it
That's the long and short of it
now you know
it was no gun in my pocket
it was a rocket
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
and you're wond'ring dear
how I kept so pure
hull, it was easy
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
now you see
so bounce your head
into bed
that's the long and short of it.
That's the long and short of it
read the blues
in these tattoos
make a song of it
that's the short and long of it.
How I wish
there was a bridge-
then I could burn it;
or the train
of a refrain
then I could board it
but there isn't
no there isn't, so...

Life's Too Short To Love This Fast
You say hello, I say goodbye
You go your way and I go mine
There's not much time for you and I these days
We work too hard, we're gone too much
And we're too tired to even touch
So just how long can we go on this way
Oh, life's too short to love this fast
If we don't slow down our hearts won't last
We can't keep up this pace we're on right now
We burn the candle at both ends
The circle turns, we start again
Let's make our future better than our past
Life's too short to love this fast
Let's take some time, let's get away
Let's pack our bags and leave today
Girl, anyplace would be okay right now
Just leave your pager here at home
And I won't carry my cell phone
We need to find some time alone somehow
Yeah, life's too short to love this fast
If we don't slow down our hearts won't last
We can't keep up this pace we're on right now
We burn the candle at both ends
The circle turns, we start again
Let's make our future better than our past
Life's too short to love this fast
--- Instrumental ---
We're spinnin' our wheels
Forgetting how love feels
Let's slow down before it's too late
'Cause life's too short to love this fast
If we don't slow down our hearts won't last
Let's make our future better than our past
Life's too short to love this fast
Love this fast
Life's too short...

Life's Too Short
I let you escape, slip through my fingers
We made our mistakes, but memories linger
Each time I turn a corner I swear I see your face
But I'm standing here alone in the wonder
What I really needed, what made me run away?
Was it just somebody's spell I was under
(Chorus)
We all love on borrowed time, tomorrow's flying blind
And life's too short to be living without you
You laughed at my jokes, broke down my defenses
It's like my heart just awoke, and brought back my senses
I've got my motor running, it's all that I can do
Cause every road I'm taking, is leading back to you
Repeat Chorus
We all love on borrowed time, tomorrow's flying blind
And life's too short to be living without you
And life's too short
And life's too short
I give in I can't go it alone, yeah I'm done now I know that you're gone
I need someone to save me and life's too short, too short
I give in I can't go it alone
Life's too short to be living without you
Life's too short
I give in I can't go it alone
Life's too short can't be living without you
Life's too short
I give in I can't go it alone
I can live without you
Life's too short
I give in I can't go it alone
Life's too short to be living without you

Before It Goes Away
There are times when life is hard.
There are times when life is easy.
There are even times when life is perfect,
but that only lasts a short time.
So long as there is life,
we should take the good with the bad
and enjoy every minute
that is given to us.
Life is too short,
a countable time in years.
Best we make the most of it,
before it goes away.

A slice of life
There is this twig
Long dead
And there is this
Dew clinging
On its side
Even for a very
Short time
There is this death
Long time dead
And there is this
Life
Clinging only for a
Very short moment
There is
You and there is also
I, in a short while
There is really no
Us
Even to utter.

My Nearly Suicide
They say when one dies
Another comes
Its all about the timing
Well I tried to end my time
I tried to get another life to come
Patience is not a fan of mine
Nor am I a fan of patience
I suppose it was not my time
For I am still alive and strong
Why?
Only him above knows why
The moment of weakness
Is the moment the baby should of came
Instead I am here writing this poem
If it was not my time
When is my time
When shall that mother give labor
To a newborn that takes my place on Earth
Now that I have lived through this experience
I have to share
Share what I have learned
Running awau is going to get you no where
Why?
Again only him above knows why
If you run
What are you doing?
Or where are you going?
Your making the problem bigger than it really is
Making your end soon is not a solution
It may seem like it
However it is just a problem
A problem of life
We have to show we are strong
Stronger than death
Instead of hoping that baby is near
We should hope
The baby has not even been made yet
Life is too short
It may seem long
And even painful
But all we got to do
Is hold out our hand
And ask for help
Life is a precious gift
With all the special moments
Or even the hell
We need to stay strong
I know its hard
Believe me- I do
I had no one
But I know I do not want to die
Im not sorry for what I did
I do not regret it
However I wont do it again
This was a wake up call
Before the final goodbye
So now I relaize the baby will not come
And I will not go
Am I okay with that?
We shall see
But for now yes I am okay.

Life is too short
Life is too short for any vain regretting;
Let dead delight bury its dead, I say,
And let us go upon our way forgetting
The joys and sorrows of each yesterday
Between the swift sun's rising and its setting
We have no time for useless tears or fretting:
Life is too short.
Life is too short for any bitter feeling;
Time is the best avenger if we wait;
The years speed by, and on their wings bear healing;
We have no room for anything like hate.
This solemn truth the low mounds seem revealing
That thick and fast about our feet are stealing:
Life is too short.
Life is too short for aught but high endeavor—
Too short for spite, but long enough for love.
And love lives on forever and forever;
It links the worlds that circle on above:
'Tis God's first law, the universe's lever.
In His vast realm the radiant souls sigh never
'Life is too short.'

Short Rap
Short rap (echo)
Repeat x2
Short rap, is everything
Its what I think, its what I sing
Cause Im a rapper, who lets you know
When it comes to music, I will grow
Rap more raps than any mc
Your rap aint rap cause your rap aint me
Short rap, is what you find
The mastermind, short rap that rhyme
Too short baby, thats the name
When I rap my rap I rap that game
I tell it to you like you always knew
Short raps not fake, its always true
Its me, its you, short rap is life
Its everyday and every night
And I dont just say its this and that
Its everything, its what short raps
Short rap (echo)
Itz what?
Short rap(echo)
Fresh
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
S-h-o-r-t-r-a-p
Short rap is what I call this beat
Rap that rap like no one else
Im sir too short all by myself
I make fresh raps without your help
And all I want is fame and wealth
Smooth in the game, just like that
And all you hear me say is rap
Short (echo)
Short rap, is way to hard
Every I stop, its time to start
Cause what you find, when I say rhymes
Is a non-stop rap, right on time
Im the kind of person you always thought
Couldnt make a record that would be bought
Sir too short, it couldnt be
Short rap, whats that, short rap is me
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
So so fresh
I like tenders, young and hot
You never hear short say baby why not?
Im sir too short, Im so down
Mc rapper from the oakland town
You better get up, short raps a song
It really aint short, its much too long
Cause I dont stop, once I start
Short rap, whats that, short rap is art
Took my rap to the neighborhood
From day one too short was good
True mcs make sucka mcs
In my time they rap like me
A brotha said short, hes good as you
Saw me on stage and learned the truth
I was born, to hit the tops
Short rap, I dont stop
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
Short rap has now affected you
Short rap wont stop until I get through
Short rap could knock,
Sucka mcs stop biting on you and start biting on me
And I wont get mad, cause Im so bad
The rap you have is the rap I had
Now if you want, my new short rap
You can put it in your shorts and bite on that
Sucka mc, you know Im fresh
A rap in my trash can top your best
Check it out boy, here and now
How will you rap when you dont know how
I wish I could hear you answer that
It just wont work and thats short rap
Try to make you understand
Dont make more raps, just be a fan
Short rap(echo)
Short rap, is it sad or funny
I thought you knew short rap is money
Sucka mc, you dont need help
All you need to do is something else
Cause mc rappers are all around
And sucka mcs are like bloodhounds
Sniffing away, to find a rhyme
Just quit rapping and you wont rap mine
Short rap, Im so hard
She got her butter on my candy bar
No time to play, just work and work
I gotta kick back, call me bizurke
Cause thats just all she made me go
Toss it up short, I know you know
Short rap, is everything
Her worst nightmare, her wettest dream
Her mind, her body, short rap is life
Shes just a friend, shes not my wife
I wouldnt even let her in my car
And the babe said Im her lucky star
Im a fresh young bachelor, I roll caddy
86 her cause she said daddy
But thats not it, it wasnt that
Short rap is life so let me rap
I gotta stop sooner, but Ill stop later
Im her man, Im not a player
And I know just what shes thinking of
Sir too short, and all her love
But then she asked for my love back
And all I had was too short raps
I cant lie, I tried to try
Your fun not one, but dont asked why
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
Is everything
Short rap(echo)
Short rap(echo)
I dont stop, baby
Short rap, is everything
Its what I think, its what I sing
Short rap, in stereo
Short is what you think you know
Your rap is fresh, but look at me
I rap more rhymes than any mc
Living so close up on the hill
Short rap wont stop, it never will(echo)

We Can Work It Out
(lennon/mccartney)
Try to see it my way
Do I have to keep on talking till I cant go on
While you see it your way
Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone
We can work it out
We can work it out
Think of what youre saying
You can get it wrong and still you think that its alright
Think of what Im saying
We can work it out and get it straight, or say good night
We can work it out
We can work it out
Life is very short, and theres no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend
I have always thought that its a crime
So I will ask you once again.
Try to see it my way
Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong
While you see it your way
Theres a chance that we may fall apart before too long
We can work it out
We can work it out
Life is very short, and theres no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend
I have always thought that its a crime
So I will ask you once again
Try to see it my way

Sonnet-Time
Time starts ticking, the moment one is born,
Appearing too short for things to be done;
And Time ceases when over is sojourn;
To some ’tis long and ’tis always great fun.
Time is so precious that some waste it not;
So they race ’gainst it, to pull off great feats;
Time is a web in which some men get caught;
However short, one still can be a Keats!
A Scientist’s life-time’s not enough for him;
A lazy-bone finds Time not fleeting still;
Time’s an empty vessel, tho’ filled to brim!
Time’s a feeling of descending the hill.
When prudently used then, Time appears long;
A mile to a fool is just a furlong.

Life And Time
if life is a book, then time is pen--writing pages of life journey;
if life is a piece of white paper, then time is color--painting more colorful life journey;
if life is a long river, then time is surging waves--pushing forward of life journey;
if life is a tree, then time is pieces of green leaves--enriching life journey;
if life is a door, then time is just the key--opening new start of life journey;
if life is a cup of coffee, then time is a bag of condiments--flavoring into life journey;
if life is a scene of tv play, then time is nameless leading role in it--performing its own speical and unique life journey;
if life is a oil painting, then time is its palette--rendering life journey;
if life is a fast horse, then time is its running greenland--carrying load of life journey;
if life is a greenland, then time is spring rain--moisturing nutrition of life journey
...........
this is ur own life, a life which only belong to ur own, ur sepcial and unique one.......

Who said what ask me not
Who said what ask me not
Come and sing time is short.
In the light of truth and in the
dark of false we both hurt.
Love and love and hate me not
Come and sing time is short.
We both are hot come and come
Day and night dream and dream
Who said what ask me not
Come and sing time is short.
What is success and what is failure
We know not come and come
Come and sing life's song.
Sun and moon all are with us
Come and see come and come
Life is short life is short.

Life Is Too $hort
I remember how it all began
I used to sing dirty raps to my east side fans
Back then I knew ya couldnt stop this rap
No m.c. could rock like that
Then the new style came, the bass got deeper
Ya gave up the mike and bought you a beeper
Do ya wanna rap or sell coke?
Brothers like you aint never been broke
People wanna say its just my time
Brothers like me had to work for mine
Eight years on the mike and Im not jokin
Sir too short comin straight from oakland
California, home of the rock
Eight woofers in the trunk, beatin down the block
Short dog, Im that rappin man
I said it before and I ll say it again
Life is too short
Too short
Life is too short
Life is to some people unbearable
Committin suicide and thats terrible
Was it much too much or nothing big?
If ya live my life, youd be fightin to live
Life is to me my main asset
I be doin all right and keep it just like that
Chill out at the house and pump that bass
Im tryin to get rich as I rock the place
Everybodys got that same old dream
To have big money and fancy things
Drive a brand new benz, keep your banck right here
Never hear me stutter once because I talk real clear
Its on you, homeboy, watcha gonna do?
You can take my advice and start workin, fool
Or you can close your ears and run your mouth
And one day, homeboy, ya soon find out
Life is too short
Too short
Life is too short
Life is too short, would you agree?
While Im livin my life, dont mess with me
Its been a long time, baby, since I first got down
But I still keep makin these funky sounds
Cause I dont stop rappin, thats my theme
I make a lot of money, do you know what I mean?
Like this, complicated ya must stay up
Ya asked a simple question boy, dont say what?
Ya only live once and ya callin it hell
Policeman tryin to take ya to jail
You could give a man time but you dont know
I a matter of time, Ill be runnin the show
Now another young buck wants to be on top
Makin big money, slangin hop
The task force tryin ta peel your cap
Turn around, homeboy, ya better watch your back
Life is too short
Too short
Life is too short
You can take back all the things you give
But ya cant take back the days you live
Life is to some peole whove been on earth
Livin every single day for what its worth
I live my life just how I please
Satisfy one person I know, thats me
Work hard for the things I achieve in life
And never rap fake when Im on the mike
Cause if a dream is all you got, homeboy
Ya gotta turn that dream into the real mccoy
Not time to waste, just get on that case
Ya cant be down cause ya need to taste
A good life livin like a king on a throne
Gettin everything ya want and tryin to have all your own
So life
Dont be stupid though
Cause when ya waste it, youll know
Life is
Life is
All right, thats it
