Light Shines Before And Behind Us
crystal teardropp blessings
alone among a sea of faces
love safe watches over us
as we face new tomorrows
in sadness tears may guide us
autumn leaves shade a wealth of rainbows
love given is enough to last entire lifetimes
tears shed may break ice age glacier barriers
shine in soft love allure love paints raptures
as we sing our love in life realm worships

Todays Teardrops
Gene pitney
Todays teardrops are tomorrows rainbows and tomorrows rainbows we will
Share me and you so dry your eyes, little girl, dry your eyes,
And were gonna see skies of blue yeah, yeah, yeah
Had a tough time gettin started, maybe youre just a little downhearted
All you gotta do is a count to 10, baby youll be smiling when,
Todays teardrops are tomorrows rainbows and tomorrows rainbows we will
Share me and you so dry your eyes, little girl, dry your eyes,
And were gonna see skies of blue yeah, yeah, yeah
Instrumental
Key change-
Gonna be just a love of gladness, dont wanna hear nothin bout sadness
Come a little closer come a to me, with each kiss youre gonna see
Todays teardrops are tomorrows rainbows and tomorrows rainbows we will
Share me and you so dry your eyes, little girl, dry your eyes,
And were gonna see skies of blue yeah, yeah, yeah

In Sadness Tears May Guide Us
in sadness tears may befriend us
happy memories may guide us
back into myriads of love moments
moments when we were nurtured in love
moments when we were embraced in love
moments when we were shaped in love
such moments are safe inside us
such moments will navigate guide us
such moments are strength within us

Waiting for Autumn
WAITING FOR AUTUMN
In my place, autumn comes near Christmas
Far less of the day and more of the night
I have always longed to see it
The leaves of autumn and its gloom
Cry with me. The sky
Its golden and orange color
Speak of my soul
In autumn are times my heart seeks for you
I can hear your breath
In the circles of fog that color the wind
When your eyes meet with mine
It speaks a language we both couldn’t understand
But of efflorescence of dawn in the coals that fade
In the calm of autumn
Outside my little hut
I see the roses fall like sakura
Each petal fall like a teardropp that you wipe away
My words pile up a heap of dried leaves
In front of the grotto, waiting
I’d sit on a log, till the hymn of the evening rings
One by one you come and go
In the shade of stars and clouds, and the time I hold in my hand
A time I would not lose
Until the hours are nailed rainbows on my chest
Autumn, is my womb that grows a child
The white snow that hugs the old big roots of giant trees
Covering it safely, until it melts,
They are together
I know it will take a long time
To grow again, another tree
My tears fall on the earth
Burying the next seeds
Now the windows are filled with light
Illumined with trees stretched in abundance
Begging the sky
My womb, the earth’s womb
Waiting.

George Edmunds' Song
Autumn leaves, autumn leaves, lie strewn around he here;
Autumn leaves, autumn leaves, how sad, how cold, how drear!
How like the hopes of childhood's day,
Thick clust'ring on the bough!
How like those hopes in their decay-
How faded are they now!
Autumn leaves, autumn leaves, lie strewn around me here;
Autumn leaves, autumn leaves, how sad, how cold, how drear!
Wither'd leaves, wither'd leaves, that fly before the gale:
Withered leaves, withered leaves, ye tell a mournful tale,
Of love once true, and friends once kind,
And happy moments fled:
Dispersed by every breath of wind,
Forgotten, changed, or dead!
Autumn leaves, autumn leaves, lie strewn around me here!
Autumn leaves, autumn leaves, how sad, how cold, how drear!

Love Puts On A New Face
He said you think youre a lady
But I know youre a woman
We are as young as the night
I said no telephones ringing
No company coming
Just the lap of the lake and the firelight
And the lonely loon and the crescent moon
What a pocket of heavenly grace
But in france they say
Everyday
Love puts on a new face
Love has many faces
About a month or so later he said
Why cant you be happy
You make me feel helpless when you get this way
I said Im up to my neck in alligators
Jaws gnashing at me
Each one trying to pull a piece away
Darling, you cant slay these beasts of prey
Some bad dreams even love cant erase
But in france they say
Everyday
Love puts on a new face
Love has many faces
He said I wish you were with me here
The leaves are electric
They burn on the river bank
Countless heatless flames
I said send me some pictures then
And Ill paint pyrotechnic
Explosions of your autumn till we meet again
I miss your touch and your lips so much
I long for our next embrace
But in france they say
Everyday
Love puts on a new face
Love puts on a new face
Love has many faces
Many many faces

Autumn’s Glow
There is something about autumn
That brings out such earthiness
Gold leaves adorn bushes and trees
Like an artist with a brilliant brush
Once the leaves dry on the trees
Then the wind begins to blow
It’s a special time of year for me
Because I love autumn so
The cold dry air it seems
Prepare the leaves to fall
Mother Nature’s special time
Yes, it’s the best of all
What a dazzling way to end
The year as winter nears
The way leaves let loose
And dropp like nature’s tears
Oh yes, I love those golden days
Dreamy with autumn’s glow
It makes me smile because I do
Love the season of autumn so!

Tears of Joy
Not all tears are caused by suffering and pain
Some are caused by blessings from above.
Tears of joy let others witness firsthand
How we flourish from God’s purpose and love.
Tears of joy are God’s wisdom to man
That all things good come through Him alone.
When blessings take place which transform our lives
We cry in gratitude as thankfulness is shown.
Tears of joy are Devine wealth from Heaven
Which reward all who submit to God’s will.
Tears of joy fortify our faith and trust
As we serve, disciple, honor, glorify and fulfill.
Autumn Goodbye
Chorus: I never promised you a happy ending
You never said you wouldnt make me cry
But summer love will keep us warm long after
Our autumn goodbye, autumn goodbye
Autumn goodbye
Thinkin of you
And the love of our lives
In the sweet summertime
So sad but true (so true, so true)
We must leave it behind
In our hearts, in our minds
Pre chorus: from april through september
Bittersweet was the love that we share
Dont forget
I remember
Repeat chorus (2x)
Memories can fade
But my heart has a place
For the smile on your face
And maybe someday
We can be more than friends
Love will find us again
Red leaves and blue tomorrows
Time will give back the love that we shared
On the time that we borrowed
Repeat chorus (2x)
Repeat pre chorus
Repeat chorus (2x)
Well leave behind
The summertime
Our hearts, our minds
They will remind
We wont forget
The day we met
The day we cried
Autumn goodbye
Repeat chorus

Fix You
When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
and ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
High up above or down below
when you're too in love to let it go
If you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Lights will guide you home
and ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face and I
Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face and I
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Just In Case
(b, r & m gibb)
Well, it seems every night and day, I get to lose
And I always held the faith inside
That love would find a way
And I always reached for more than the others ever saw
I was always the first to follow my foolish prayer
And the feeling that I have is more than any soul could bear
Hold me when I wake
Then I can be sure of who I am
Im half the man I should be, when youre gone
And youre telling me this is love,
But just in case, keep my heart in a secret place
Safe under lock and key, til I know its only me
One of us got to be the one thats true
One for the other and the love comes through
Right here or out in space
Give my heart to you, babe, but just in case
Yeah, just in case
Tell the world that Ive come to claim your tomorrows
Let the universal word go out a million miles away
And let history show
On the wind the seed is sown
We are living in a time where the tears fall where they might
But we hear each other much more than those who see
We are not alone
Love is there for everyone who needs
And for anyone who cries
I will always have you here with me
Ohh
And youre telling me this is love,
But just in case, keep my heart in a secret place
Safe under lock and key
til I know its only me
One of us has got to be the one thats true
One for the other and the love comes through
Yours, mine, and face to face
Give my heart to you
But just in case
Yeah, just in case
Ahhh, ohhh baby, ahhh, ohhh, ohhh baby, ahhh
And youre telling me this is love,
But just in case, keep my heart in a secret place
Safe under lock and key
til I know its only me
One of us has got to be the one thats true
One for the other and the love comes through
Yours, mine, and face to face

It's Autumn Again
It’s autumn again
Leaves whisper the sound of our past
In loss they pay a descent
To the ground we fall
It’s autumn again
Our song is sung by the wind
Echoes of loss and grief
Through chilled air we wade
It’s autumn again
The waters grow as cold as our hearts
We are alike – crusted in ice
In ourselves we freeze
It’s autumn again
Flowers vanish from our sadness
Our beauty grows weak
Covered in frost we wither
It’s autumn again
The rain falls like our tears
Can’t dry our eyes
From the sky we descend
It’s autumn again
The sun shines then fails like us
Our sight becomes a wintry gray
Lost in darkness we will fade
It’s autumn again

Autumn's Sonnet
The winds blow lightly in the silence,
It's raining with sad leaves in quiet tears,
Lost rays dream of light, hot impatience,
Upper tired branches slowly break their fears.
It's autumn. Hopes are dash in the dark fog,
Colors fade, and the pink flowers die,
The moonlight disappears in choking smog,
I began to roar I began to cry,
I choose to sing together with the wind,
To cry with the golden leaves through the rain,
To embrace a ray of light, to be kind,
To feel the great sadness and flower's pain.
It's autumn, from her wealth of hopes we reap,
A new time to laugh, a new time to weep.

The Epic Of Sadness
Your love taught me to grieve
and I have been in need, for centuries
a woman to make me grieve
for a woman, to cry upon her arms
like a sparrow
for a woman to gather my pieces
like shards of broken crystal
Your love has taught me, my lady, the worst habits
it has taught me to read my coffee cups
thousands of times a night
to experiment with alchemy,
to visit fortune tellers
It has taught me to leave my house
to comb the sidewalks
and search your face in raindrops
and in car lights
and to peruse your clothes
in the clothes of unknowns
and to search for your image
even…..even…..
even in the posters of advertisements
your love has taught me
to wander around, for hours
searching for a gypsies hair
that all gypsies women will envy
searching for a face, for a voice
which is all the faces and all the voices…
Your love entered me…my lady
into the cities of sadness
and I before you, never entered
the cities of sadness
I did not know…
that tears are the person
that a person without sadness
is only a shadow of a person…
Your love taught me
to behave like a boy
to draw your face with chalk
upon the wall
upon the sails of fishermen's boats
on the Church bells, on the crucifixes,
your love taught me, how love,
changes the map of time…
Your love taught me, that when I love
the earth stops revolving,
Your love taught me things
that were never accounted for
So I read children's fairytales
I entered the castles of Jennies
and I dreamt that she would marry me
the Sultan's daughter
those eyes..
clearer than the water of a lagoon
those lips…
more desirable than the flower of pomegranates
and I dreamt that I would kidnap her like a knight and I dreamt that I would give
her necklaces of pearl and coral
Your love taught me, my lady,
what is insanity
it taught me…how life may pass
without the Sultan's daughter arriving
Your love taught me
How to love you in all things
in a bare winter tree,
in dry yellow leaves
in the rain, in a tempest,
in the smallest cafe, we drank in,
in the evenings…our black coffee
Your love taught me…to seek refuge
to seek refuge in hotels without names
in churches without names…
in cafes without names…
Your love taught me…how the night
swells the sadness of strangers
It taught me…how to see Beirut
as a woman…a tyrant of temptation
as a woman, wearing every evening
the most beautiful clothing she possesses
and sprinkling upon her breasts perfume
for the fisherman, and the princes
Your love taught me how to cry without crying
It taught me how sadness sleeps
Like a boy with his feet cut off
in the streets of the Rouche and the Hamra
Your love taught me to grieve
and I have been needing, for centuries
a woman to make me grieve
for a woman, to cry upon her arms
like a sparrow
for a woman to gather my pieces
like shards of broken crystal

Winter Comes...
Where once the spring
Shone in our faces,
Tugged at our heart-strings
Danced at our traces,
Now there are chills,
Portents inside us,
Shadows from far-off hills
Now walk beside us.
Love came and went,
Followed its calling,
Left us to rue the chance
Glance of each falling,
Tears followed laughter,
Sadness brought pain,
Love flowed down gutters
With every spring rain.
What of the children
Laughing beside us?
Spring turned to summer
And quickly denied us;
Scorched our intentions
And scratched all our itches;
Where are the children now?
Hedgerows and ditches!
So much for summer, one
Long dissipation,
Autumn leaves spiral
And pile desolation,
Deep in our hearts those old
Tears are still falling,
Dark clouds are gathering
As winter comes calling.

Autumn Love
I met her in the autumn;
When such are found, you know.
She said, 'In all her glory.'
Though joking, oh how so!
So true, I did inform her.
But then, to no surprise.
Such things are never certain
In autumn's paradise.
An autumn love, so firmly,
May grasp a loving heart;
It still may seem together,
Though broken from the start.
Through autumn, when it found me.
Through winter's frozen years.
Such love alive in springtime,
Brings forth a rain of tears.
That's why the loves of autumn
Display a special trait.
The heartbreak, comes much sooner.
The love ends, much too late.
For young love, it's more tragic.
Although it's torn apart,
The yearning never ceases
Around a virgin heart.
So when the tears of springtime
Give way and summer looms;
The autumn love, once tempting,
Ignores the soul it dooms.
And then, the autumn comes again
For young loves one and all.
Changing then, its name once more,
From autumn to the fall.

Tommorows Just Another Day
Trying hard, I thought Id done my best
All my life, I cant get no rest
Some whove closed the door before
Say I cant carry on no more.
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them saying
And it gets better every day
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
Listened long, tried to take it in
All these facts leave me in the swim
Its down and down there is no up
I think that Ive run out of luck.
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them saying
And it gets better every day
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
Tomorrows just another... day
Walking now, over covered ground
There is a chance if I move around
I need a moment to reflect
On the friendships I have wrecked.
Why is it i, dont I always try ?
I hear them say
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them say
And it gets better every day
I hear them say
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them say
And it gets better every day
I heard them say
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them say
Tomorrows just another day
Tomorrows just another...
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day
I hear them saying
And it gets better every day
I hear them saying
Tomorrows just another day

A Psalm
I wish you each crystal blue morning sky,
the doves cooing in love in the berry trees,
the bees buzzing on the early breeze,
for you’re live to freeze
when you are the happiest.
May the one that you love, care for
or just are in love with from a distance
turn your world around, find a way
to surprise you while you talk
and guide you to walk along
to your piece of paradise.
May every dream be a blessing
and those blessings come true
and may the sun
always shine on you
with a better new day.

Crystal Clear
How do you feel now? I want to know
Clear as crystal, I can see your face
In my glass of water, I can see your face
How do you feel know? I want to know
Does your love burn like a summer's day
Or is it still on hold in an ice cube tray?
Clear as crystal
How do you feel now? I want to know
Clear as crystal, I can see your face
In my glass of water? I can see your face
Winter has passed now, did you ever know?
Is your love forming like the springtime
Or is it still a snowdrop in the snow so fine?
Clear as crystal
Clear as crystal, I can see your face
In a glass of water, you can see your face
How do you feel know, I want to know
Now I can see you so crystal clear
Crystal clear

A Thread scrawled in Timely Autumn
I watch thousands of leaves drift underneath trees,
while in a tree I sat observing
timely autumn air fetching birds –
to gather above the vegetation high up in the blue
birds rise and utter messages
as timely autumn descends on our…?
On our befallen part globe.
To hear the beauty of innocence across
the damp fall ground;
vibrating, that autumn is
going to flee away and…?
And in comes the disturbing winter breeze –
bring out a smile gloating out
on the stricken faces.
Nations fall dead from autumn exhaustion.
Oh timely autumn has come to soon –
to bear a reason of befallen:
sleeping illnesses
on our old earth.
Red, brown, orange, yell a glow
Buried in leaves is our part globe.
And stricken faces
of shadows
flee away into the nest of warmth
as worrying winter breeze crawls
in, regretfully not,
but gleefully.
Swirling around, sneaking in?
In ajar windows.
Oh season is it time
for timely autumn colour to leave
our autumn colour world into
winter darkness?
Not welcomingly the
winter nips at my thin nose
as I watch above
high in this forlorn tree
with no leaves! But what?
Empty branches of crystal snow.

Love is
Perfect love cast out fear,
Love is in the eyes of a dear friend,
Love is found transformed in the air,
True love has no boundaries to end.
Love is in every moment we pause,
Love leaves an imprint in our heart,
Love covers distance and show the cause,
Love is a world full of charming delight.
This is love in tears and blazing laughter,
Love shines radiantly on our faces,
Love struggles and overcomes despair,
Love is the sweetest emotions our lips can taste.
Love is icy winter and lazy summer days,
Love is celebrated in great victory parade,
Love is in photographs with a million memories,
Love is nations treasures hid in peaceful shade.
Love is forgiving your enemies instead of hate,
Love is the first appearance of a new born child,
Love is precious, and far too costly to waste,
Let us share this unique gift we all have inside.
