If It Is God’s Will

If it is God’s will
I shall write out
a few thoughts

thoughts upon issues
which melt
once thick pristine ice caps

so frozen so white so pure
why drill risk
oil spill in paradise?

Take Back the Virgin Page

Written on Returning a Blank Book

Take back the virgin page,
White and unwritten still;
Some hand, more calm and sage,
The leaf must fill.
Thoughts come, as pure as light
Pure as even you require;
But, oh! each word I write
Love turns to fire.

Yet let me keep the book:
Oft shall my heart renew,
When on its leaves I look,
Dear thoughts of you.
Like you, 'tis fair and bright;
Like you, too bright and fair
To let wild passion write
One wrong wish there.

Haply, when from those eyes
Far, far away I roam,
Should calmer thoughts arise
Towards you and home;
Fancy may trace some line,
Worthy those eyes to meet,
Thoughts that not burn, but shine,
Pure, calm, and sweet.

And as, o'er ocean far,
Seamen their records keep,
Led by some hidden star
Through the cold deep;
So may the words I write
Tell through what storms I stray --
You still the unseen light,
Guiding my way.

White as Truth

i am a page of white
a space limited only by
the scope of your thoughts

you can write whatever you wish
onto me - the good, the bad, or the ugly
- provided they are from your heart,
truthful, innocent and pure as a white lily

you dont have to worry about me
let your thoughts flow like the breeze
i have enough space for you
to fill out all your fantasies

i am a page of black
you can write what you want
- the good, the bad, or the ugly -
provided they are really from
your heart, truthful, innocent
and pure as white lily
i have enough space for you to
fill out all your fantasies
just make sure your ink is white
so that it will shine as bright as truth

Why I Write?

I write poems for myself and I write for the readers
I write for the masses and I write for the leaders
I write to imprint my thoughts in people's mind
I write to make the bad guys helpful and kind
I write to light up our path to Great God
I write for everyone home and abroad
I write to preserve values new and old
I write to make my ink precious like gold
I write for peace and I write for progress
I write to make the world a better place
All major issues I want to address
I write to see smile on God's face

sometimes thoughts like the allure of a whisper

Blip Humanity Glass Fused Into Fossil Record

ego humanity desires to leave a record in stones
once we etched cuneiform symbols into soft clay or rocks
now we blow away mine entire huge mountains
bore sink drill holes into primeval past liquid oily soups

pristine was pastoral safer age planet earth before we harnessed atoms
learned how to deforest continents indifference melt polar ice caps
before blind greed; conventional, biological, chemical, nuclear warfares
threatened humanity all species in global event horizon extinctions

(W – 2011) Random Musings – 001

These are random thoughts
Not sorted out
These are not words sifted out
From the grinder of contemplation
They are not refined and polished
But they are pristine
They have life in them
And I want to let them live
Since life and its experiences
Are ever reflecting upon themselves
Whatever issues forth from them
I prefer to call as musings.

They are to me rich poetry
The underlying meanings may sometimes
Not be so much visible to others
But deep down the ocean
As I keep floating
(Swimming is too harsh a word here)
Currents of thoughts break upon me
And I find myself part of an
Unfinished poem.
Weather I am a full stanza
A couplet, or just
A one-liner, I am still to find out.

Tabula Rasa.

Rondel Prime.

A pristine page of purest white.
A challenge that I can't resist.
Although I try my muse insists.
I take my pen and start to write.
I quickly find to my delight
My muse is ready to assist.
A pristine page of purest white.
A challenge that I can't resist.
An empty page a welcome sight
To a poetic formalist
Or even to a modernist.
To anyone compelled to write.
A pristine page of purest white.
A challenge that I can't resist.

Today's Blank Wall

just this day
i face a blank wall

it is enticing
its white hand is signaling me to write my thoughts on it

it is empty and wants to be full
just like myself perhaps who knows

i will disappoint it in the same manner that you have
disappointed me

i will not go near it
i will not say a word

i will not write anything
but i will tell it

'you are beautiful'

untouched, unwritten
pure, blank, mute....

Do You Have Any Thoughts About Me?

Do you have any thoughts about me?
And I want to know if the thoughts that you have about me
Are any good?
Do you mind sharing the thoughts about me?
What are the thoughts about me like?
Are the thoughts about me semtimental?
Are the thoughts about me very romantic?
Are the thoughts about me full of love?

Happy Thoughts, Happy Thoughts, Think Happy Thoughts

I have to keep reminding myself to forget you.
Forget you and me.
(Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, think happy thoughts.)
You wanted me to promise to never say it again
Those three words
(Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, think happy thoughts)
Which is laughably easy to do right now because
We are so far out of touch I couldn’t reach you if I tried
(Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, think happy thoughts)
So I plod through grey days and inky dark nights
Heavy laden with regret
(Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, think happy thoughts)
Tomorrow I will remind myself to forget you.
Forget you and me.

My Thoughts Of Suicide

Here I sit and write this poem
Thinking of all I love and all I hate
Thoughts of suicide thinking its my fate
I think of all the times I used to laugh
And now I wish I'd just die
How did so much misery come in to my life
And now all I have are thoughts of suicide
Crying every night is not the way to live
Heck I'm still a kid
I should be out hanging with all my friends
But these thoughts of suicide haunt my head
Will they care when I am gone
When nothings left expect my thoughts
And this small poem telling everyone
I will be no more in about an hour
Don't try to save me
Just save your tears
Nothing can stop me
Because i have thoughts of suicide
Heres to the end my dear friend
I hope you live life through
This is the end to this girls life
And all her thoughts to boot
Nothing there but my thoughts my secret thoughts of suicide

Poetic Heart

this poetic heart bleeds,
but you will never see blood,
there is pain, pulsating
and pricking, needles and pins
without the cushion, but there is not
a sense of bother, it is here,
and it is there, and it is everywhere,
the body does not complain
to this routine, of self-genuflection,
this is it, and it is familiar, like
old friends meeting again
with white hair and wrinkled
faces, it is full, and it knows
what emptiness is, it releases
air, it deflates, it becomes too light,
it becomes a blank sheet of
white paper. Words
write themselves. Thoughts land
like doves. It is wide like an
open sea.The winds are cool.
And seagulls begin to fly low.
Catching fishes.
Sea caps and lonely sails.

Train thoughts

You see the train fires our thoughts-
We find a white metallic sky up there,
As though the train itself were the earth
Spinning like a top in cosmic space.
The train’s hoot pierces our awareness.
We then come down from the upper berth
To mundane matters of trivial concern-
Thoughts which are not train thoughts
But home kitchen and patio thoughts
Waiting for inquisitive neighbours to talk
So that we could pick large comic holes.
In the train, between our finiteness and sky
There is another white sky, train sky
Under which several celestial thoughts
Take place in our upturned sleeping faces
It is as though the metal sky does not exist
And we are faced with the Big sky itself.

S7

early morning eyes
fresh from their dreams

the mind recalls
the heart confirms

all the emotions still contained
vivid images in technicolor

the hands summon the fingers
write, write, write

strike while the iron is hot
cliche, cliche

now the thoughts rush like a flood
from the forest mountains

the fingers are adept at all these
one with the mind and heart

and so here we are again
slaves of our art

redeemed risen anew
maybe still cold and perhaps even frozen

thaw
melt only to be solidified again when the sun comes

irony of the mind
paradoxes of the heart

listen
to you i am saying nothing

it is for me
in the labyrinths of my confusions i am trying to find my way out

trapped fly in a bottle
buzzing for its wish for freedom

genie
wanting someone to rub its ancient lamp

if you let me free
you may have four wishes

and that is not just a promise
it is a contract

morning thoughts
tunnels without end lights yet

there is yet no exit
and so you still find me here in my own shadow

fog and mist
trails filled with tall grasses

up there is the house of my intentions
a figure waits but i do not know yet who

surprises surprises
anticipations of life

these are all the reasons
hazy as a refraction of light bending upon a glassy vision

Suicide Thoughts

Suicide Thoughts as I walk, into the devil den
My soul began to melt like snow.

Suicide Thoughts who I’m to talk I want to be perfect.
It would seem to believe I want to be perfect. I want to
Over achieve.

Suicide Thoughts, has world come to an end? what must I do?
To turn away from sin, I begun to pray, I have to win.

Tell me what you see

Tell me your thoughts
When you have no thoughts

Tell me what you see
When your eyes are closed

Tell me if you could read my mind
My thoughts would tell you a tale

Between the lines
Tell me story that is told

Experence the paradise
That is in you

Let me hear your voice
To comfort my ears

Rest deep inside my soul
Heal my wounds while I sleep

Holding me down
My fortress strong

My Thoughts

Thought in the eyes,
The ears.
Thought in mind,
The brain,
Thought in heart,
The soul.

Great thought is great
when it becomes great deeds.
With my thoughts within
Building my world within

Learning with thought;
Is great learning wisdom.
Learning without thought,
Is opportunity lost.

Thought for others
Thought for God
Thought for good
Thought for God’s blessing

Thoughts teach me,
Thoughts educate me,
Thoughts clarify me,
Thoughts enlighten me.

Thoughts make me wise
Thoughts make me patience
Thoughts make me trust others
Thoughts make me clam.

Thoughts before act
Is smart and wise
Act before thoughts
Is stupid and foolish

That’s my thoughts
They make thinking clear
They make belief deepen
They make confidence high.

In thoughts, my world
In my world, make my thoughts.
In thoughts, my words
In my words, make my speech

It’s my thoughts count
Counting my thoughts
To endless counting thoughts
Thinking the thoughts endlessly
My thoughts and thoughts again.

Black and White (Stream XV)

I have black thoughts,
It is a black day,
A day when the black dog
Coal black, hovers at my shoulder.
I shoulder the burden.
Deep in the black hole.
Black as a black hearted night.
Negative.
Stark.
Black and white.
I do not call my good days white days.
Why?
Or have white thoughts
On a white day,
When the white dog
Pure white sits upon my shoulder.
Which is unburdened.
Out of the pit,
Luxuriating in the bright white light;
White as the purest snow.
Positive.
For we live in a too white world
Maybe we should have grey days,
And light days.
Why should Black be negative and White poitive?

For me then, today is a grey day.
Maybe tomorrow will be a light day.
