God Made A Prophecy Not To Adam But To Eve
God made a prophecy not to Adam and Eve
but to the woman Eve alone Jesus Christ
was born of a virgin woman promised seed
bruising the head of Satan the fallen serpent Genesis 3: 15.
Jesus Christ died to defeat sin the sacrifice himself
to destroy Satan the devil who had power over death
he bruises his head destroys his power his lordship
over mankind defeating the power of Satan for God
'To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness
to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that
they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance
among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me' Acts 26: 18.

Healed Forever
To all men, Christ was revealed, so man could be spiritually healed,
Fully healed from the curse of sin, that has corrupted all men within.
It was the very heart of man, that was lead to stray from God’s plan,
On the day that Satan did deceive, the man through the woman Eve.
Man from God was then separated, something not at all anticipated,
When Eve listened to the one, who’d go on and oppose God’s Son,
Posing warfare, of a spiritual kind, to deceive man’s heart and mind.
Thus bringing death to bear on all, who are cursed from Adam’s fall.
But, on that day God declared, that Christ His Son would be spared,
As the serpent would be hushed, when by His Son, he’d be crushed.
Although Christ would see death, God alone would revive His breath,
While He destroys Satan eternally, in Christ’s victory for you and me.
Man being dead in trespass and sin, needs from God change within,
So God sent His Son to the cross, to save all men from eternal loss.
From those stripes Christ received, healed are all men who believed,
In the Lord God’s atoning sacrifice, for all men through Jesus Christ.
Through His Son’s pain and strife, men receive from God, a new life,
When in The Son we’re renewed, God’s Power in believers is ensued.
All this as we’re healed spiritually, from the bloody cross of Calvary,
With power received, from on high, being born of God, never to die.

Unlike Any Other Being
Every one is born in the flesh and they try to live their very best.
But from the moment we begin, our heart friend is tainted with sin.
We are born with a human nature and a cut above other creatures.
Unlike any other being we have been made in The Creator’s image.
In order to have Christ like love, one needs to be born from above.
We’re born with original sin and from the Garden that’s how it’s been.
And at the moment we’re conceived we are targeted to be deceived.
Adam’s sin was passed on to you, that’s every single Gentile and Jew.
And since we come from Adam and Eve, we too, can become deceived.
Friend Satan comes to deceive but Christ gives you power to believe.
He gives freely to all who believe, a gift by faith you just receive.
Satan only wants you to destroy; while Christ comes to give you joy.
Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ and you will receive Eternal Life.
And on the way to Eternal Life you become a New Creature in Christ.
God’s Mercy you can not win if you desire to continue a life of sin.
And being born spiritually dead, a dark eternity is what lies ahead.
But Christ as the second Adam friend provided for us a better end.
When we were children of the night Jesus came to guide us into Light.
And Christ came down to this strife to lead Believers into New Life.
A life of sin is empty and dead, so why not have New Life instead.
Born in a sinful darkened state, death is everyone’s ultimate fate.
Sin was cast out of Paradise and God will cause its future demise.
But to all men who are truly wise, The Lord has given spiritual eyes.
Eyes to see with Godly sight, that all men need The Light of Christ.

His Righteousness Alone
I have no righteousness of my own but stand on faith in Christ alone,
Abraham's an example to all of us for he believed unto righteousness.
On my own, from God, I stand apart as I was born with a sinful heart,
But Jesus took upon the sin of us to cover us with His Righteousness.
God knew before man's fall that Christ would die for the sins of all,
Satan would strike Christ's heel but God followed with this appeal,
Christ would in turn crush his head and Satan will be eternally dead,
Sin's price of death is on my head but Jesus Christ died in my stead.
Though Jesus died He rose again for death could not hold Him friend,
Death may come to all my friend and apart from Christ it is your end.
If you accept His Righteousness in-lieu of death you'll be blessed,
Reject The Lord and your last breath will take you to eternal death.
Christ suffered death for a while so to God we could be reconciled,
From the grave Christ did rise and now He lives even though He died.
Christ bore our sins on the cross and for our sins He paid the cost.
In the grave He buried our sin so we could rise to new life with Him.
There's still hope you can be sure for Jesus is knocking at the door,
He's waiting for you to come in for the cross is your victory over sin.
For our sin Christ did atone and Salvation is in Him and Him alone,
The One knocking at the door can be your Righteousness forevermore.

In Christ
Living each day, week to week, this world looks dark and bleak,
So I must be in Christ each hour, as He gives me staying power,
Looking to Christ in all things, for the abundant peace He brings,
So whatever does come my way, in The Lord Jesus, I must stay.
In Christ is His Power and Grace, to lead me daily place to place,
Even within the darkest of night, Christ alone, becomes my Light,
So when I have a troubled heart, from my Lord, I must not depart,
For when in Christ, in Him alone, He allots power from His Throne.
His Power is from His Authority, this, Christ holds over all eternity,
This Power, Christ supplies to us, when we remain in Christ Jesus,
When troubles tempt us to stray, in The Lord Jesus, we must stay,
And His Power provides us peace, that when in Him will not cease.
As Satan prowls as a hungry lion, enticing believers to fall into sin.
Directing our eyes off of God, so not to see Christ’s staff and rod,
As our Shepherd shall always lead, all believers to their every need,
So from God we mustn’t look away, as Satan cause hearts to stray.
We’re all new creatures in Christ, each called to be a living sacrifice,
To those who follow Christ, as Lord, God’s Peace to all, is assured,
Peace from Christ, not this world, as abundant life, He has unfurled,
Knowing He has given us New Life, every day, we must be in Christ.

Today... 'Dear Son
From the power and dominion of darkness I'm set free
for the Dearly Belovéd Son of God has died for me.
No longer am I bound by the wretched shackles of sin
but I'm strengthened by the power of God flowing within.
Being redeemed and forgiven by His great sacrifice
I've been translated into the kingdom of Jesus Christ.
So I give thanks to the Father who has qualified me
to share the inheritance of the saints eternally.
Delivered from the awful power of darkness are we
transformed by the Spirit into Christ's image we will be.
We are saints in the kingdom of the light of His Dear Son
by His sacrifice we have forgiveness and redemption.
As we now grow in Him and bear good fruit every day
seeking always to please the Dear Son in every way.
Satan can no longer claim or hold upon you or me
because our Lord Jesus has paid the price and set us free.

God Can’t Be Beaten
Satan the world has so deceived
Through wanton lust for sin
But faith, the gift through Christ’s received
Will see God’s children win
True knowledge that the Lord is real
We purchase through belief
When in due course God’s strength we feel
It’s then to Satan’s grief
The devil tries to keep us blind
The truth he seeks to hide
But God is never hard to find
With Jesus as our guide
We need but come to seek His face
The Lord who’s true and just
Will wrap us in His warm embrace
To Satan’s sheer disgust
Power through prayer will Christ bestow
To cast the foe from sight
Though God at times may seem us slow
His timing’s always right
Satan would have us think him dead
So man from Christ would stray
But those who hold the Lord has said
Will live to win the day
Through faith alone our God we trust
Through faith, the Lord we please
Faith also brings to eat the dust
The devil to his knees
Through Christ who is who’s first and last
Who lives though once was dead
When Satan tells you of your past
Remind Him what’s ahead.

Redemption In God's Time
Holy God, Who judges Righteously, offers all sinners eternal victory,
Before the foundation of the world, the stage was set to be unfurled,
The Lord God, from all eternity past, set in place Redemption to last,
Man's redemption, through His Son, provided salvation for everyone.
The salvation all men would need, since Adam and Eve did not heed,
The command given in the Garden, by which, man became hardened,
When God's command was ignored, creating an enmity with the Lord,
From that forbidden fruit on a tree, man would be directed to Calvary.
At the moment Satan did deceive, mankind's parents, Adam and Eve,
Bringing darkness into Paradise, The Creator would ordain a sacrifice,
A sacrifice required for mankind, to be provided for all, in God's time,
Prophesied way back in Paradise, pointing to the Savior, Jesus Christ.
When Christ would die in our stead, He would also crush Satan's head,
As Satan simply bruised the heel of, the Eternal Son, who rules above,
As The Savior died, for all our sin, our eternal victory, Christ would win,
So we can partake of the Tree of Life, through our Savior, Jesus Christ.
The salvation, that God had unfurled, believers today, truly must herald.
Through His power, over the grave, The Righteous Lord today will save,
Each sinner who truly comes to Christ, as God grants them Eternal Life,
As the fallen sinner in time is restored, through the sacrifice of our Lord.

Speaking Against ‘Da Vinci Code’ -2
So mean, some try demeaning Christ –
The Son of God, the Almighty;
They know His birth was one divine,
From Virgin Mary, by God’s word!
The Lamb of God was sacrificed
For sins of mankind, on the cross;
The Son of God became a man,
To just fulfill His Father’s wish.
Yes, Jesus knew the Scriptures well;
He had two natures – man and God,
Like two faces of any coin;
As man, he was fully a man!
‘The Son of God could forgive sins’
- The words of Jesus Christ Himself;
Like God, He loved the sinner who
Confessed his sins and made amends.
Christ chose twelve men as Apostles;
May be, some women heard his talks;
Christ won over satan’s designs,
When latter tempted him, at last.
The sinless man called Jesus Christ
Defeated satan, once for all;
And when He rose from death, third day,
He showed his pow’r divine to world.
To mar his name by saying that
Jesus was married, had a son –
Amounts to blasphemy and Lie:
A sin, His Father won’t forgive.
‘Beware you liars of God’s word! ’
Lord Jesus Christ will come again
In glory, as Judge of mankind:
Ask forgiveness, repent for sins!

Wickedness Is Everywhere
His wicked spirit is everywhere, the prince and power of the air,
Born into a system led by him, Satan fills the world with evil sin.
God of the world, on this earth, inciting all born of natural birth,
On this earth, that God created, is a spirit by which He is hated.
God’s Kingdom is not of this world, is what Christ world herald,
Christ’s comes from God above, one filled with peace and love.
Men join His Kingdom from earth. Through Jesus and New Birth,
When in Christ we’re born again, we become to God, His friend.
That dragon is God’s enemy, who wants to destroy you and me,
Aware that he faces eternal fire, our destruction’s his only desire.
Satan’s power deceives the mind, making many spiritually blind,
This while he deceives the heart, wanting all, to from God depart.
God’s Kingdom soon will come, ruled on earth by Christ His Son,
With Satan cast into the abyss, upon earth will be Heaven’s Bliss.
Until then there’s a battle on, but, not against the weak or strong,
It’s against the evil principalities; the darker powers we can’t see.
Man was expelled from Paradise, into a world of darkened strife,
Where Satan sets out to deceive, men and women, just like Eve.
But accept as Savior Jesus Christ, and you’ll receive Eternal Life,
Delivered from this darkened night, into The Lord’s Eternal Light.

What Will Be Your Reward On Judgement Day?
All who choose their religion atheism.
Choose disbelief in the existence
of God. Non-belief these choose.
What when your final judgement has
been passed will Satan say to you?
Atheism was your deliberate choice.
Scepticism was your deliberate choice.
Desires of heart your deliberate choice.
Revelation. All the promises God made
were true all Satan made were lies.
Satan also made promises not kept not any.
Satan had no power over you.
Satan will abstain accept no blame.
Satan will claim he did nothing but tempt you.
Satan will say I did nothing but offer my way
you accepted my invitation in love of money.
Satan will say suckers blame not me blame yourselves.
On Judgement Day Satan will not help fallen you.
On Judgement Day Satan cannot help himself.
Nor can Satan help any of his millions of demons.
Satan will dissociate
himself from partnership
in all your sin before God.
Satan will demand
your wrong doing receive
a grievous torment.
Atheist, non-believer,
chooser of sweet tempting sin,
to your criminal plea;
that it was deceiver Satan,
who lead you astray,
Satan will plead guilty.
God made you promises.
God gave you warnings.
In conscience of your heart.
Satan also made promises.
Now proven to be false.
Satan will confess
all his promises
were deception
false assurances
of sweet prosperity.
Woe to the fallen
beguiled by greed.
Enticed in snare
great expectations.
Did not Satan assure you
that there was no life?
In an eternal Hereafter?
Did not Satan deceive you
into rejecting Jesus Christ?
His paid innocent blood sacrifice
as intercession for all your sin?
Not all worshipper offerings
are acceptable before God.
Ten commandments warned
you may not freely do whatever you please.
It is written there are consequences.
It is written a Day of Judgement will come.

Easter
On Christmas day
Was born a babe,
Who brought forth joy
And peace on earth.
On Easter day,
Lord Christ, who died,
Came back to life
All on his own.
Prophets had died;
Saints too had died;
Great men had died;
But none returned.
Just Jesus Christ
Rose on third day;
He won over death,
And Satan lost.
The death of Christ,
Resurrection,
Victory o’er death
Brought redemption-
For all mankind,
For endless time;
Heaven was now
Open to all.
Sinners who say
‘I’m sorry, God,
And repent well,
Can avoid hell’
Christ paid the price
Of mankind’s sins
By death on cross,
And his suffering.
When we do sins,
They wound the Lord,
And hurt him more
And make him sore,
Let’s rise with Christ;
Renounce Satan,
His pomps and works;
Live for Christ’s sake.
Heaven is ours.
Christ is the way;
He is the Truth;
He is the Light.
Let’s follow Christ
To Calvary;
And heaven-wards:
ETERNITY!

Easter- The Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the death of Death!
Lord Jesus Christ has risen from his grave!
The tomb on third day was an empty cave;
The Savior of mankind has done the feat;
The Evil One Satan has got defeat.
The empty tomb of Jesus Christ is proof:
The tomb-stone rolled aside, away from roof;
Yes, Jesus resurrected as forecast;
The sting of death is now a thing of past.
The second Adam has won over death;
The fear of death needn’t haunt someone on earth;
Death is not end but henceforth beginning
Of Life eternal- mankind’s new meaning.
Jesus, the Light has dispelled all darkness,
That hinders men from Heaven’s happiness;
Jesus, the Way leads all souls to Heaven;
Our Road to Heaven has been made even.
The heart of love infinite won o’er death;
No more can death frighten a soul on earth;
The King of Love has conquered death ‘per se’;
This is the key message of Easter Day.
Our sinless Messiah is alive still,
After his death on cross upon the hill;
God’s only Son is Savior of mankind;
Confess your sins of body and of mind.
Jesus, the Truth has triumphed o’er Satan;
And Hope is born afresh that beckons man;
Children of Adam and of Eve are saved;
The road to Heaven’s glory, Jesus paved.
Denied is Satan of power of death-
Sigh of relief for all souls upon earth;
The gate of Heaven’s wide open to all;
We all can go to God, despite our fall.
Death entered earth through Adam and Eve’s sin;
Christ’s Resurrection is also our win;
The warrior of love has conquered death;
Jesus has brought about the death of Death!
The awesome death is now man’s friendly-foe!
Death puts an end to every strife and woe;
The cruel thief is welcome guest of man;
Man need not fear death in his whole life-span.
Death is the way to Eternity now;
Death is not dreadful as it was once, wow!
Man’s body got back sanctity once lost-
Rejuvenating truth to mankind, vast.
No tomb can hold a man’s body for long;
Death’s silence will be broken by life’s song;
The risen Christ has opened up all tombs-
Even for dead, unborn babies in wombs!
The future of all mankind lies in Christ;
‘Our faith in God’- the flag, we ought to hoist;
Follow the Cross and Heaven’s Gate is nigh,
When we are made too kings by One, most High.
Like Christ, all Christians too can resurrect;
Let’s keep our soul without sinful defect;
The rod for sins has also been absolved;
Redemption of mankind has been resolved.
The holy cross of Christ has paid the price
Of freedom of man’s every sin and vice;
Awaits the Lord with banquet feast for us;
Let us prepare our soul now for this Bliss.

Jesus Power over Demons
Jesus' Power Over Demons

June 24,2007 — The Fourth Sunday after Pentecost
“Jesus' Power Over Demons” — Pastor Lassman
Luke 8: 26-39
Listen
My Fellow Redeemed in Christ,
Do you believe in a real Satan? Do you believe that there are demons? I’m sure you do, but if you don’t you should. Of course, such things might seem strange in our scientific and technical world and many people don’t believe in Satan or evil spirits. And, being spirits, we cannot see Satan or demons. But the Bible talks a great deal about them. I’ve never seen Satan or a demon, but I believe in them not only because the Bible talks about them, but especially because Jesus Christ himself speaks about Satan and demons. In the church we often talk about sin and death, and rightly so. But we should never forget about Satan and his evil forces. For they go together: Satan, sin, and death as Martin Luther says in his Small Catechism about Jesus: “who has redeemed me a lost a condemned person, purchased and won me from all sin, from death….and from the power of the devil.” The power of the devil. That brings us to our gospel lesson where we see “Jesus’ Power Over Demons.”
I. In Jesus Christ the kingdom of God has come to attack and destroy the kingdom of Satan. When he began his public ministry at his baptism Jesus said: “repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand.”.
A. God, of course, had created a perfect world. This included what we would call the “good angels.” But some of those angels, led by their leader, Satan, were not happy with their position in God’s order: they wanted to be God. And in their evil rebellion against God they were transformed into demons who oppose God and all that he stands for. It was their leader, Satan, who showed up as a snake in the Garden of Eden to tempt Adam and Eve to also be like God. And so sin and death came into the world. Satan had invaded God’s world and trashed it. Demons are the source of the world’s superstitions and religions. Demons are the ones behind those who persecute and kill Christians. Demons are the ones behind all the false doctrines that divide the Christian church. With deception and lies they do all in their power to keep people from believing in Jesus Christ and to destroy the faith of those who already believe. Thus the Bible calls the devil our “enemy”. There is an underlying evil in the world that human beings are helpless to overcome. The demon possessed man in our text symbolizes all of this. But remember that every human being is born into this world under the influence of Satan and a member of his kingdom as the apostle John says in his first letter: ”the whole world is under the control of the Evil one.” When you and I were born in the world, we too were under the control of the evil one—enslaved to sin and death, under God’s wrath and damnation. Never forget that.
B. And that’s why Jesus came into the world: to attack and destroy the kingdom of Satan and save his people. He trashed the kingdom of Satan, defeating him and giving mankind victory over sin and death. You can hear the fear in the evil spirit’s voice: “what have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the most high God.” They are filled with terror because they know that Jesus is stronger than they are. They are afraid of Jesus: “I beg you do not torment me.” They know that on the judgment day Jesus Christ will cast them into the fires of hell as we read in revelation: “and the devil..was thrown into the lake of burning sulpher, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night.” And so the spirits begged Jesus not to send them “into the abyss.” The demon was afraid that that day had come. But it had not. So Jesus told them to leave the man and enter the pigs. And they had no choice but to do what he said. Now in our gospel Jesus only delivered one man from demon possession. But on the cross he delivered all of humanity, you and me, from Satan and his forces by dying for our sins. Because of Jesus Christ we never have to fear being possessed by a demon—for our bodies are the temple of God. Because of Jesus Christ we can resist the devil and his temptations—for in baptism we have been united to Jesus Christ. Because of Jesus Christ the devil cannot scare us with death or damnation—for all our sins are forgiven and we will be raised from the dead. Because of Jesus Christ the devil cannot deceive us with his lies because we know the truth. Paul says it all when he writes in Colossians: “for he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Col.1: 13) you and I have been rescued from Satan and his kingdom—he has no power over us.
II. But as always there are two responses to Jesus.
A. Regardless of the evidence, some people just won’t believe. We see this in our text. There were eyewitnesses to what had happened—the herdsmen who tended the pigs. And they went and told the city and the whole country-side what they had seen. Indeed, they created such a stir that many people went out to the spot where it happened to see for themselves. And there was Jesus- and the man sitting at his feet. And they saw with their own eyes the difference in him. He was no longer naked, but clothed; no longer out of his mind and violent, but calm and in his right mind. He was normal. Clearly, something profound and wonderful had happened. And now comes the strange response: “then all the people of the surrounding country…asked him to depart from them, for they were seized with fear.” What? ! Why did they say that? ! Couldn’t they see that Jesus had done something good, something kind, something merciful, something wonderful? Why did they ask him to leave? Did they care more about the pigs that were destroyed than they did for the well-being of this man? We are not told. But all through the gospels we hear of people who do not believe in Jesus even though they saw him doing miracles and wonderful acts of kindness. Perhaps we get a clue when just fourteen verses before our text Jesus says: “[these] are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the words from their hearts so that they may not believe and be saved.” Many people prefer the kingdom of Satan. They like the darkness more than the light
B. But that wasn’t the response of the man from whom the demons left! He believed and was thankful for what Jesus had done for him. As a matter of fact, he was so grateful that he begged Jesus to go with him. But here’s another little surprise- Jesus said “no”. Instead he told him to return to his home and tell everyone what God had done for him. And that’s exactly what he did: he went home and told everyone what Jesus had done for him. I imagine that took a lot of faith. His emotions told him he wanted to be with Jesus. But he denied his emotions and instead did what Jesus told him to do. And so it is with us. We too are thankful for what Jesus has done for us. Every Sunday through the forgiveness of sins he gives us victory over sin and death and the power of Satan and the forces of evil. Such is the power of god’s forgiveness. We love coming here on Sunday mornings and being with Jesus and receiving his salvation. And yet as important as it is, we cannot sit in church all the time. Jesus wants us to return to our homes, our work, our schools—our communities and tell everyone what he has done.
Conclusion: when Jesus drove the demons out of that man Jesus attacked the kingdom of Satan. But when he died for the sins of the world Jesus destroyed Satan’s kingdom. And through faith in him we share in his victory. For Satan’s only weapons are lies, sin, and death. But in Jesus Christ we know the truth; in Jesus Christ our sin has been forgiven, and in Jesus Christ death has been defeated and we have life. Satan has no power over us. Indeed, we can resist him. And how do we know this is true? Well, we see Jesus casting out helpless demons who fear him and must obey him. But the main proof is the empty tomb. When Jesus was raised from the dead God’s hand was raised in victory over Satan and his kingdom. Everywhere the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached and taught the kingdom of Satan is trashed. And one day Jesus will return and cast Satan and all demons into the abyss that they fear so much. Amen!

Freed Through His Riches
All are in bondage to Satan and sin, driven by hearts of flesh within,
But, Jesus Christ was sent to us, and in His Truth we place our trust.
It was The Father who sent Him, to save all His people from their sin,
Sent down to men who are but dust, our Emmanuel, to dwell with us.
Christ came with Truth to impart, to every weary and searching heart,
God’s Truth that sets captives free, flowing from a Cross at Calvary.
Truth that once within your heart, causes sinful ways to soon depart,
Defeating Satan for you and me; through Christ we gain the Victory.
A victory that won’t be denied, and in Heaven’s Glory we will reside,
With The Lord Jesus, forevermore, when we enter through His Door.
When His Spirit comes to live inside, in Christ He helps us to abide,
The Spirit gives men so much more, as they live for Christ our Lord.
Christ reaches down with His Grace, through The Spirit at any place,
Filling hearts with God’s Peace, from the greatest down to the least.
He empowers you to run the race, with His endless supply of Grace,
With power that shall not cease, coupled with God’s Joy and Peace.
It’s through Salvation, we are freed, from all Satan’s power eternally,
And all that we need to do is trust, our Savior who died for all of us.
Christ’s Spirit will dwell in your heart, and once inside will not depart.
So, take time to seek His face, and receive the Riches of His Grace.

Stalking The Earth
Quietly as every Christian walks, that eternal enemy Satan stalks,
He’s Stalking the earth this very hour, seeking those he may devour.
Satan’s like a hungry lion friend, with destruction being his only end.
Satan my friend you know is wise, but he indeed is the father of lies.
He comes to you in a disguise, seeking friend your spiritual demise.
Rebuke him in the Name of Christ, Jesus who died to save your life.
He fills your day with frustration, to take your mind off your salvation,
And why God left you on the earth, and has given you spiritual birth.
Friend Satan wants nothing less, than to make your life an evil mess.
And to take your mind off of Christ, so he can then, destroy your life.
Today he roams earth to deceive, and attack those who do believe.
However, Satan shall not prevail, even though all his powers assail.
Friend, even his largest assault, against Christ will come to naught.
Satan’s in a hopeless situation, as he’s facing eternal condemnation.
And destruction is his only desire, knowing that he faces eternal fire.
But if you belong to Jesus Christ, He my friend will protect your life.
For on the cross He paid the price, as Satan was defeated by Christ,
And in the times that we are tried, in Christ Jesus Believers can abide.
For by Jesus it is said and done, Satan by Christ has been overcome.
And as Satan is destroyed by Christ, Believers will enter Eternal Life.
He will deceive the nations no more, when cast into Hell forevermore.
Cast down into the eternal pit, with the Beast and the False Prophet.
By Christ he will see his demise; forever from Hell his smoke will rise.
Friend, upon the cross of Calvary, Christ made the way to set us free,
Free from Satan, death and sin, to live up in Heaven forever with Him.

Finish The Race
My desire is to finish this race, on my journey compelled by Grace,
Thrust forth every day and hour, solely on The Holy Spirit’s Power.
Christ is the one I whom endear, as some situations turn into fear,
For His presence will never cease, and this gives my heart peace.
This gives me peace in a land, where many men don’t understand,
That Jesus Christ never died, and reigns today at His Father’s side.
Today many people have fallen away, into Satan’s deceptive sway,
Satan being the father of all lies, comes to many lives in a disguise.
He changes things in subtle ways, and even receives undue praise,
Satan is behind all the subtle ways, deceiving multitudes in our days.
Soon his dark reign will cease, when God sends The Prince of Peace.
Deception will come to an end for him, along with all this wicked sin.
For all those who come to Christ, they will enter into His Eternal Light.
For those who refuse His Light, they shall enter into an eternal night.
It was the Grace of Jesus Christ, that started me on this race of life,
And it shall be the Grace of Christ, which sees me into Eternal Life.
Soon earthly darkness all will end, with only Light around the bend,
Christ’s pure Light for all Eternity, when His Glorious face I shall see.
Then I’ll know I am done the race, when I finally look upon His face.
Until then I must faithfully run, in hope to hear Christ say well done.
Jesus Tempted
“The Tempter tempts the Creator –
Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
The Lord was just a man like us
But lived a sin-free life on earth.”
The Spirit then took Jesus Christ
Into the desert for some days;
For forty days and forty nights,
He fasted and fervently prayed.
And in that weary state of mind
And body when Christ Jesus lay,
The Tempter Satan came beside
To test the Lord and make Him prey!
Oh, what a time, the Tempter chose
To try to bait the Lord Jesus!
He didn’t spare ev’n the Son of God,
And chose His weakest moment too.
‘Oh, you must be so hungry now!
Why don’t you turn these stones to bread?
Oh, what a suggestion to make
Reminding Christ, His powers divine! ’
The wily Satan thought Jesus
Would succumb to his proposal;
But Jesus knew why Father sent
Him to be born as man on earth.
‘Man does not live by bread alone,
But by each word that God utters, ’
said Jesus to the Tempter and
Got over His first temptation.
Then Satan took Christ up the roof
Of Jerusalem temple high,
And urged Him to jump down at once,
For angels would prevent His hurt!
‘Don’t test thy Lord, ’ the Scripture says,
said Jesus Christ to Satan then.
Satan showed Him the wealth on earth,
Promised Him if He worshipped him.
But Jesus spoke sternly to Him –
‘Thou shalt worship thy Lord alone! ’ –
the scripture says, ‘Oh, don’t you know;
Begone then Satan, ’ and he left.
Then Jesus felt truly hungry;
Angels ministered unto Him.
The Tempter failed deceiving Christ,
And Jesus won full victory.
When Satan can tempt Christ Himself,
All mankind is his soft target;
Temptations come to every man;
Yet, we mustn’t fall a prey to them!
Our faith in God must remain strong;
We ought to stay alert all life;
The Holy Spirit within us
Will help to ward off every strife.
