Do All Religions Give The Same Light?

two famous folk singers
once said at their concert
that all earth's religions

give the light
but is this
the same light?

Do all these religions
teach believe
the same teachings?

Do true faithful advocates
of each of these religions
believe the same beliefs?

Christianity teaches
Jesus is the only begotten
Son of divine God

Jesus claimed
he was the way
the truth the light

that none no one
comes to God
except through him

an exclusive claim

Islam declares
God has no sons
Jesus is but one

prophet like Moses
Noah Muhammad
Jesus never died

on sacrifice cross
was no Messiah
to take your sins

supreme is finality
faith in prophethood
chosen Muhammad

Five Pillars Of Islam
five duties incumbent
on all every Muslim

Shahadah
profession
of faith

Salat prayers
Sawm fasting
Zakat giving of alms

specifically
during
Ramadan

Hajj
pilgrimage
to Mecca

five practices
essential
to all Muslims

Hinduism the most
important Indian religion
characterized by a belief

in reincarnation
belief in a large pantheon
of gods and goddesses

Buddhism is a religion
philosophy encompassing
a variety of traditions

beliefs practices
inspired based
on many teachings

attributed to Siddhartha

many religions
many differences
many sources

different sources of light?

yet some concepts
are paramount
to all true believers

tolerance compassion
vengeance belongs to God alone
love worship holy God

remove huge rafter of sin
from your own eye before
straw from another's eye

They All Give The Light

Once upon a time
at a very far away
folk music concert

two American
folk singers claimed
and proclaimed

a revelation
concerning the lights
givers of light

One singer said
“Do you see the lights”
“This one is Christianity”

“That one is Islam”
“That one is Hinduism”
“That one is Buddhism”

They are all different
but they all give...
the same light...

Really?

What about blown bulbs?
When one bulb is blown?
Are all the bulbs blown?

They all give the same light?
A modern western folk revelation?
Is it really all the same light?

Or different sources of light?

Selective Belief: Rewriting The Bible

The twentieth century
witnessed the rise
of a new phenomenom
in Western Nations
across the world.

The strange case
of selective belief,
rewriting the Bible.

Belief read like a roll
of declining acceptability
for these creators
of their own personalized
selective belief system.

Yes we believe in God,
a personal creator, the majority!

But not Satan the Devil,
we choose not to believe in him?

Belief in God, Satan, but not demons?
No we choose not to believe in
demons – they are not real?

Miracles no. They never happened?

Some self professing
so called Christians;
rewrote the whole Bible,
removing all miracles!

Of course not much
of the Divine nature;
of Almighty God Jesus,
the Holy Spirit is left!

After calling both
God and Jesus liars!

(these Bible rewriters read?
their blasphemy bible
miracle stripped.)

All Abrahmic religions;
the world’s three primary,
monotheistic faiths

Judaism Christianity Islam;
3.8 billion followers,
of three Abrahamic religions

over half the world’s population;
must condemn blasphemy vehemently,
because God created miraculously!

The reason: Bible rewriters deny;
created vision recorded in Genesis;
all holy writings in these religions.

Jesus is not God not a Prophet;
to Bible miracle rewriters merely;
a personal guru a cute philosopher.

Problem: Jesus declared the existence
of demons, even non-biblical sources,
attest the multitude of Jesus’s miracles

preformed. God omniscient omnipotent
omnipresent; the all powerful Almighty!

Omnipotent: the all powerful nature of God;
almighty power unlimited infinite power;
all-powerful Lord who has created all things;
and sustains all things by His Word miraculous;

a word of wisdom for the miracle removers
“In the beginning God created
the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1: 1

“In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.

He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made;
without him nothing was made that

has been made. In him was life, and
that life was the light of men. The light
shines in the darkness, but the darkness

has not understood it.” John 1: 1-5

Do You Believe In: Jesus Christ Or The Cosmic Christ?

Easter is a time where we celebrate
the crucifixion of Jesus Christ
who is God Himself who died for our sins,
where we celebrate His resurrection
from death, where we proclaim
that through no other name,
no other person, there is salvation
from the penalty of sin
which the Bible explicitly states as death,

but at this very time there is an attack
on the Godhood of Jesus Christ,
where Afrikaans and English churches
in South Africa, churches throughout
the entire world,
are starting to follow the teachings
that Jesus was but a mere human being.

Where it is argued that God the Father
is guilty of child abuse,
in sending His Son to pay the penalty
for our sins instead of letting us
pay the price for them,
where Jesus Christ who is God Himself,
came down to this earth
to sacrifice His own life for us.

Further it is argued that Jesus Christ
was not resurrected from the grave,
that His body was eaten by dogs,
and that His disciples and apostles
lied about Him appearing to them,

it is argued that Jesus Christ
did not ascend to His Father in heaven
and some of the things
clearly stated in the holy Bible
is being seen as only myth
and thus men are saying
that Jesus Christ was only a man.

This poem is no attack on any church,
but as a follower of Jesus Christ
I see it as my duty
to proclaim Him and a relationship
with Him as the only way to salvation.

Behind the scenes Jesus Christ
who is God and who is
the Son of God, is being debased
to only a son of the gods
and slowly but surely lowered
to the position of only a prophet,

while ecumenism is spreading
to take hands, to find
a universal compatible christ
for all religions world wide
(by uniting Christian
and non-Christian religions)
and the way is opened
for the cosmic christ to appear,
who his believers clearly state
to be another person from Jesus Christ.

According to the Holy Bible
there are only two forces
interacting in this world
and the one is from God
and the other is from Satan
and as a believer
in the holy Bible only
as the word of God,
I choose to follow Jesus Christ
and God leaves a free choice
for whomever you decide to believe in.

What Is The 'Orthodox' Difference

There is too much hypocrisy expressed,
In religion.
Too much division in it too...
For it to go unobserved.

The existence of 'Christianity'
Is based upon concepts created by the 'Jews'.
And there seems to be a conflict of interests...
When folks of ignorance slander, demean and smear,
Like they do!

Especially when people uphold beliefs,
Similar in nature.
And said to establish foundations...
That are firm in culture, heritage and customs
As solid as concrete!

And who doesn't know concrete eventually crumbles?

What is the 'orthodox' difference...
When Catholics and Jews conduct familiar rituals?
Wear kippahs (yalmulkes) to dentify their strong ties.
Keep people of color submissive and dismissed.
With racist overtones they claim do not exist!
Yet this clearly sits,
To acknowledge those who are hypocrites

There is too much hypocrisy expressed,
In religion.
Too much division in it too...
For it to go unobserved.

NOTE:

Judaism (from the Greek Ioudaïsmos, derived from the Hebrew י ה ו ד ה , Yehudah, 'Judah';
[1] in Hebrew: י ַ ה ֲ ד ו ּ ת , Yahedut, the distinctive characteristics of the Judean ethnos)
[2] is a set of beliefs and practices originating in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) ,
as later further explored and explained in the Talmud and other texts.
Judaism presents itself as the covenantal relationship between the Children of Israel
(later, the Jewish nation) and God.

It is considered either the first or one of the first monotheistic religions,
and is among the oldest religions still being practised today.
Many of its texts and traditions are central to the other Abrahamic religions,
with Jewish history and the principles and ethics of Judaism having influenced Christianity and Islam,
as well as some non-Abrahamic religions.
As the foundation of Western Christianity,
many aspects of Judaism also correspond to secular Western concepts of ethics and civil law.

Let us thank our Gods..

Buddha was a human and a Hindu,
And he worshiped the Hindu Gods,
Instead of worshiping Hindu Gods,
Why do people worship Buddha?

Jesus was a human and a Jew,
And he worshiped the Father,
Instead of following his religion,
Why do people worship Jesus?

These are the questions of logic,
We may provide the answers of magic,
If Religions were gate way to heaven,
Where our ancestors went in BCs?

I like the teaching of Jesus,
Who asks us to love our foes.
I like the teachings of Mohammad,
as he eliminated injustices.

We, the human, elevated ourselves,
From the hardship that Gods have created.
From naked human to today's technocrats,
We have evolved from ignorance.

Let us take the religion for guidance,
not to inflict hatred on another human.
Let us take the doctrines for consolations,
not to hurt another human with weapons.

Right Christian Belief

The Christian Body, that's you and me, live in light of orthodoxy,
The right belief of Revelation, which creates a strong foundation,
Unchanging Truths in Scripture, give to us a foundational picture,
Of God's Truth that we live by, unchanging Truths, we can't deny.

The first is The Lord God's Unity; He is The Only God of Eternity,
Then there's The Holy Trinity; Father, Son and The Spirit are three;
In the virgin birth we do believe, as our Savior Mary did conceive,
The Spirit conceived The Sinless Christ, sinless all His earthly life.

In light of man's total depravity, The Lord came to save humanity,
While The Lord retained His deity, as The Lord God of all Eternity;
And Christ was fully human too, walking on earth like me and you,
For Christ came to this sinful place, to grant sinners Saving Grace.

Saved by faith in Jesus Christ, Who came to give men eternal life,
For we trust in God's sacrifice, The Atoning Death of Jesus Christ,
But God had resurrected His Son; Christ, giving hope to everyone,
And Christ is coming back again, as Judge and Savior, of all men.

These beliefs are our foundation, Essential pillars of our Salvation,
Essential beliefs revealed to us, through the life of our Lord Jesus,
Unalterable beliefs for everyone, who comes to God's Eternal Son,
For His Salvation and Eternal Life, through the Savior Jesus Christ.

No Room For Truth

Many have no need for God, a belief they defend with a nod,
With pride in their heart so rife, they will worship their own life,
Sitting on a self-made throne, they have a belief, all their own,
This faith that they embrace, discards God's Awesome Grace.

They've no room within their life, for The Savior, Jesus Christ,
Heaven, they think they'll inherit, not by Grace, but their merit,
Believing that they are good, as God they've not understood,
Having no fear of The Lord, His Truth, by them, goes ignored.

They may even dislike religion, but, it factors in their decision,
Being soiled by religious leaven, using works to enter Heaven,
But all of their works of pride, by The Lord God will be denied,
As all the work was done for us, on the Cross by Christ Jesus.

Some may say that they believe, but Truth they will not receive,
They even say that God is in all, denying a curse by man's fall,
And all on the earth, they contend, will be in Heaven in the end,
With or without Jesus Christ, in Heaven, they shall see new life.

God's Word makes it so clear; wisdom begins with a holy fear,
To know The Lord God is one, Who sent to earth His Only Son,
To be for all men His Sacrifice, so men can enter into Paradise,
And Jesus is The Only Name, in whom salvation man can claim.

The supreme truths are neither the rigid conclusions of logical reasoning nor the affirmations of credal statement, but fruits of the soul's inner experience. Intellectual truth is only one of the doors to the outer precincts of the temple. And since intellectual truth turned towards the Infinite must be in its very nature many-sided and not narrowly one, the most varying intellectual beliefs can be equally true because they mirror different facets of the Infinite. However separated by intellectual distance, they still form so many side-entrances which admit the mind to some faint ray from a supreme Light. There are no true and false religions, but rather all religions are true in their own way and degree. Each is one of the thousand paths to the One Eternal.

Tossed About

Some souls are tossed about as waves, listening to how religion saves,
That what Christ did is not enough, along with additional religious stuff,
As many preach a salvation today, ignoring that Christ is the Only Way;
It was not men, but Jesus Christ, Who said I’m The Way, Truth and Life.

We’re warned not to add or subtract, from what the Bible states as fact,
But, that’s what many religions do, misleading people, like me and you;
Being spiritually tossed, to and fro, by the leaders who profess to know,
The Truth of God, but are deceived, as God’s Spirit they never received.

While all who’ve received His Spirit, know spiritual error when they hear it,
So being led by Truth through Grace, we’re to contend for one true Faith,
Forewarned of the teachings of men, that The Lord Himself will condemn,
All errors born out of vain philosophy, which entangles souls in religiosity.

We are to warn them from God’s Truth, so they may avoid strong reproof,
And not just a strong rebuke from us, but the judgment from Christ Jesus,
Who’s coming back to judge all men, all the religious, but, not born again,
Teaching without the Spirit of God; deceiving souls all across earth’s sod.

God’s warning in Revelation is clear, but, many simply choose not to fear,
While they add to and or take from, the very words of God’s Eternal Son,
Who’ll send them the plagues found in, God’s closing book of Revelation,
And their share from The Tree of Life, shall be taken away by Jesus Christ.

Faith In Christ Alone

Faith in which many do believe, by its own teachings will deceive,
The very ones it’s meant to reach, through the error it does teach,
Teachings that by errors depart, from the Truths Christ did impart,
Truths which would set men free, who were in bondage religiously.

They may have belief like us, but, their belief has misplaced trust,
A belief that adds to the cross, which leads them to spiritual loss,
Denying God’s finished work for all, will result in their spiritual fall,
A fall from saving Grace, as His finished work they don’t embrace.

Christ said it is finished on that day, paving for all God’s only way,
When men place trust, solely in Him, Christ alone, who died for sin.
And only Christ, and Him alone, was exalted to the Fathers Throne,
The only High Priest, over those, who believe in The Son who rose.

Religion leaves its noticeable trace, of the Truth which we embrace,
But it adds to the work of Christ, which alone, grants us eternal life.
Christ is all that we must believe, and then His Spirit we will receive,
To guide believers in God’s Truth, with New Life, in Christ, as proof.

We’ve no concern we must be, purged before entering into eternity,
As our penalty for sin was paid, when all our sin on Christ was laid,
Paying the full and eternal price, when He became God’s Sacrifice,
And by faith in Jesus Christ alone, we’ll enter into our eternal home.

Light Illuminating Answers?

cliché concepts
maintain all light sources
like all religions

are type different
yet all give the same light
I ask is this right?

do not all religions
have major minor prophets?
did all provide identical intensities
of light illuminating answers?

I have decades
pondered upon light
and light sources.

I concluded cliché concept
all are different
yet all give the same light

is a generalization flawed
fails applied acid tests
which light fuels are best?

I concluded different fuels
qualities of pure impure waxes
various liquid light sources

give different intensities
of light to illuminate rooms
illuminate spiritual seekers

especially philosophies
in source spiritual illuminations
differentiates souls

Buddha Christ Mahatma Gandhi
were pure flames pure souls
purified in life final experiences?

in comparison their completed
choice enlightened beautified lives
make most base material mortals

similar to hate rage racist foul flames
of beast Hitler Himmler fallen dark souls

not all aspire to divine aspirations
pray with sincere heart souls

Good Friday...

Behold the wood that went to make the cross
That bore the Saviour Lord, King Jesus Christ:
The holy cross at Calvary on which
Was hung, the Redeemer of mankind race!

That man was only Son of God in flesh,
Who suffered, shed His precious blood as price
For every sin of everyone on earth,
Of Adam and of Eve in lineage!

It wasn’t about the cross that Jesus bore;
It was about the One who hung on it!
He came to earth as Mary’s baby boy,
And gave to men the Good News, peace and joy!

The cross of wood assumed significance
When Jesus died upon it for our sins;
The sacrifice supreme was love of God
For creature man of clay whom He had made!

When Christ resurrected upon third day,
And won o’er death and satan for all times,
The holy cross became the weapon sole
That scares away the devils back to hell!

The cross became the symbol of Christians,
Reminding man of Salvation for all,
As Christ had paid the price on our behalf,
And turned to be the Truth, Light, Way to God!

The holy cross beckons each one of us
To take up each one’s cross and follow Christ;
It is the only hope for all mankind
As life on earth becomes so meaningful!

God’s Love was born on Christmas day as Christ!
Man’s sins nailed Him to death upon the cross!
Christ’s obeisance to Father freed mankind
If repentant, from Fiery Pit of hell!

Reflect on passions Christ had undergone,
Before He died upon the holy cross;
Follow His teachings and precepts for man;
Heaven is nigh for sinners penitent!

Sonnet: Pearls of Wisdom from Jesus

‘I’ve overcome the world, ’ said Jesus Christ,
‘God does not forsake, nor abandons you.’
‘Ye men of little faith, believe at first! ’
In Jesus’ name, miracles, you can do.

Christ left as hope for us, Holy Spirit;
‘Do not worry; just live right for today.’
He dwells in hearts and souls that’s grace-light lit;
Jesus Christ is the truth, and light and way!

‘Man does not live by bread alone, ’ said Christ,
‘But by each word that God utters by mouth.’
By death on cross, Jesus third day was raised
to life, and made our living on earth, worth!

‘What God hath joined, let none put asunder!
To divorce would be sin and big blunder!

Christ Is The Light

Revealing shadows of the night
Dispersing doubtful haze
When Jesus comes Salvation’s Light
Brings faith that will amaze

The faith to stand, to rise and shine
Move mountains to the sea
Turn normal water into wine
And set the captive free

Yet Light’s not all that Jesus brings
God’s Son is so much more
He is! The Light the bible sings
That leads to Heaven’s door

He’s hope, He’s joy, He’s Heaven’s grace
The strength of God’s elite
The radiance on Moses’ face
And Lamp unto our feet

When Heaven’s brilliant Light arrives
When Jesus reigns within
We’ll see the church not only thrives
But lives to combat sin

“I am! The Light” said Christ quite plain
“I came on earth to give
I came to die and rise again
In order that you live”

Walk not by night and fall astray
Be clad in robes of white
Believe in Christ God’s Son today
And walk within The Light

The Light in ever flowing streams
The Light of God divine
The Light fulfilling wildest dreams
The Light that now is mine

Religion or Life

Religion I hate, Life I love; one’s from earth the other from above,
The Life I love is from God, while religion is from this earthly sod.
A religion of earth leads to death; Life from God is eternal breath,
New Life is given by Christ Jesus, as religion will only mislead us.

Religion, call it what you may, distorts Truth from God’s only way,
The way provided to all of us, who in God’s Word place their trust,
New Life from God, in His Son, regarding truth, is second to none,
For religion truthfully has no part, in truly changing a sinner’s heart.

Religion can make us feel good, creating a common brotherhood,
Filling life with religious stuff, but salvifically it doesn’t do enough.
It doesn’t reach the heart of men, inspiring them to be Born Again,
Through the Spirit of Jesus Christ, who alone offers men New Life.

Religion can fill a need on earth, but, eternally men need new birth,
We need to be born spiritually, to have new life with God eternally.
All religions on earth my friend, with the world will come to an end,
While all who have Life from God, will live beyond this earthly sod.

Religion comes in many forms, and around men’s ways conforms,
While God’s Only Way is higher, with Eternal Life being His desire,
Which will be granted to all of us, who, in His Son place their trust,
A Life far above all man’s ways, while giving to God eternal praise.
