The Classroom

you walk on by the classroom
day to day
but never think about
what’s in it
I know, I didn’t
not because you don’t care
cause it never entered your mined
you might wonder when you see the students
you might know that
they have to go to a “special”
classroom of there own

you might even know what’s
in the classroom
you don’t know what they
do in the classroom
the academics
the physical therapy
the carts and crafts
the culinary arts
most of all the life skills
sounds a lot like most of you classes
right
cause it is

so why not just stop on by
say hello to
the staff
the students
talk to one of the students for a while
they will teach you something
you’ll never learn anywhere else
the classroom will always be there
with students and staff
that will talk to you
watch them watch the students
you’ll learn a lot about life

let the classroom teach you something
let you teach the classroom,
that being “normal” is not
so different
teach that
please teach that
to the
classroom

for it will always be
just
a classroom with
students
staff
and a few students
who stopped on by
and
said hello

Teach Me To Trust

Maybe because its too good to be true
Maybe because I want it so much
Maybe I fear you dont really mean it
For I feel Im never enough
But I want you more
Than I ever wanted
Anything I can recall
But something inside
Keeps saying youll hurt me
Do I dare to trust it at all
Chorus:
Teach me to trust
Darling you must
Or else Ill go out of my mind
When Im not near you
I always fear you
Have somebody else on the line
Is it a fear
Or is it a knowing
A jealousy born out of truth
cause I watch you flirt
And its how you embrace
Them with your eyes
That say I could lose
2nd chorus:
Teach me to trust
Make me feel loved
Tell me Ive no need to fear
Just make me feel safe
Whatever it takes
Tell me what I need to hear
cause I need to feel
Important and special
Your cherished and only true love
And sometimes I think
Ill die from this feeling
If you dont teach me to trust
Tag:
Cant you reach me
And teach me to trust

I Want My Poetry

(8/22/12)

I want my poetry to touch the hearts and minds of all who read
And on their emotions my words would feed.
To express to all people no matter who they may be
Or what schooling they may or may not have
That their voices will be heard and told
And their emotions will all unfold.

Every emotion known to man will be written
With a gentle hand.
We as poets can climb into your being
And see what you are seeing, and to feel
Your every emotional pain
For no two are ever the same.

To feel your hunger, your thirst, your needs
And feel the cut vein when you bleed.
To feel your sorrows, your bitterness, your hate
And also feel your religious faith.

We are you - you are us
And in our minds you put your trust.
Let us tell the future generations
That these words were our salvation.

I want to make you feel the splendor
And to my words you will surrender.
To make you feel happy inside
And with a smile you can not hide.
To make you see that ALL LIFE is worthwhile
As you look upon that newborn child.
To let you know that your life was given to you
Because the love your parents knew.

Trust Me

I wrote this poem for you
because you need somthing to hold on to.
When your world is falling down,
trust me, I won't let you drown

Your life seems pointless, worthless, ending
but you read this, remembering.
It's not just you, after all
trust me, I won't let you fall.

Try to think of happier days,
not shades of whites, blacks, and greys.
It's not just pitiful, empty, sad,
trust me, it won't always be this bad.

These words mean nothing,
yet to us, they mean everything.
Listen as the music plays on.
Trust me, you've yet to sing your song.

When life gets hard
stand up, walk tall, be stronger
when you feel like no one is there for you
trust me, i'll be right beside you too.

Life will end at a time, not of your choosing
your life can't end by your own doing
when you feel those thoughts creeping near
for you, trust me, I'll always be here.

I Thank You

I express my thanks to all,
Who offer their comments...
That are analytical,
With indepth perceptions.

As writers we all are 'connected' to what we create.
At times we assess with critique we feel is best,
To uncover 'identities' we believe, infact...
Are the writers' personalities.
And most times 'conceive'...
What we read leads us,
To the core of a writers' mentality.

I express my thanks to all,
Who offer their comments...
That are analytical,
With indepth perceptions.

And many times humorous,
That ushers the writer,
To incorporate and open...
Other selected directions.

I thank you!

Twins at birth

we may be the same in face and needs
but! i am different in value and deeds.

while you love to flaunt your looks
i love to sit and read books.

you want to be the center of the crowd.
'i just look at you and frown'

you want to show people that.you are
the better of the twin
because you are happy and carefree.
but this is not what all people see.

there are times in life that
we are alike.
but! we are both seperate individuals
with different personalities.

i believe in the goodness in life
having children and a wife.

while you believe in the party rule.
in my eyes you are such a fool.

when it is time and the lord
calls our name.
will you still feel the same.

we are twins this i can see
but you are not the same as me.
so when you see that it's time for change
i will love you just the same.

A Definition Of Trust

Trust is instant immediate.
Trust happens all at once.
Or trust does not happen?

Trust is not time relative.
Trust does not grow with time.
Trust is instant connection?

Trust is instant knowing.
Trust is a click perception.
Or awkward impossibility?

Personalities incompatible.
Can never click connect.
Can never trust reconcile?

Even friendship may be impossible.
True trust patterns in true friendship.
True trust is an elixir of possibilities.

I Can Not Be

I can't be thankless
For all other cheerful faces
Who have shared all their feeling?
Made me feel at home and being

I owe a lot to unknown readers
Who might be playing for me as wonder?
I know only few of best known
As they consider me of their own

I have now whole world to claim
Its people, trust and faith to name
I have breathed their feelings and sentiments
It was pleasant and happiest moment

How do I feel for them at heart?
I find no appropriate words to start
They have allowed me some space
To be stationed permanently in any case

I shall store their words as everlasting
Thank God, they never came to me as blasting
I could have been finished of the scene
Yet they allowed me as player to be seen

I feel shy to express thanks often and again
It causes me anguish and pain
As if I am purchasing their precious time
They have spared it for me over considerable time ‘

I shall express in poems
That may reach definitely to them
They are smart enough to pick the signals
Take care of their urgent need for originals

Trust 2

When trust gets broken, there is no repair
and your belief in someone ebbs away.
You wonder if you can ever trust anyone again.
Something dies within you,
not that you feel bitter against them,
but you feel simply betrayed
by what was supposed to be a friend.

You want to keep believing, but the trust says no.
Too many promises have been broken,
making you feel a fool.
It was one trust too many
and you won’t do it again,
even though the next time
might be the real thing.

Trust is in our nature
until it is twisted and torn
and making you feel foolish.
You say nothing, but feel a dagger
has been thrust into your back.
You are disillusioned by words
and look at yourself, asking questions
you don’t want answers for.

Could I trust them again?
Would I want to trust them again?
The question list grows long
until you want to put it behind you,
as trust has died another death
in the hands of someone
you thought to be a friend.

I Trust In You Lord

Whenever I feel alone in this world
I trust in you lord
Whenever I feel no one cares me
I trust in you lord
Whenever I ashamed in front of others
I trust in you lord
Whenever my situations change so bad
I trust in you lord
Whenever my eyes cannot accommodate my tears
I trust in you lord
Whenever I become financially dreadful
I trust in you lord
Whenever I cannot shout like others
I trust in you lord
Whenever people close their eyes towards me
I trust in you lord
Whenever I cannot take any decisions
I trust in you lord
Whenever I feel myself despicable
I trust in you lord
Whenever I know nothing in my hand for tomorrow
I trust in you lord
Whenever I lose my all hope
I trust in you lord
Whenever my dreams aren't come true
I trust in you lord
Whenever I go through failure
I trust in you lord
Whenever my friends become ascendant than me
I trust in you lord
Whenever I feel I can't be in faith any more
I trust in you lord

Wisdom The Key (Revised)

The questionnaire classified me as a problem
case with low root Chakra; it arose from when
I replied ‘No’ to questions whether I trust people
– they implied love means the same as trust

I love people unconditionally and accept their
shortcomings respectfully – including stupidity;
I believe people all have good intent but lack
wisdom, that is why I love them regardless

I do not trust anyone’s judgment because they
lack the mental equipment to obtain benefit for
themselves, much less for anybody else – my
love is not based on their intelligence

It is based on enjoyment of the beauty and variety
they add to life; I bestow trust as a highest honour
only a few earn by acting with honourable and
dignified nobility in being wise enough

To admit and rectify mistakes – I never trust public
figures or authority, self-serving power or selfish
individuals, although I love cheerfully cheeky
criminals who make life fun

I respect their right to be false, honour their duplicity
by keeping temptation far away – I only trust my core
family, my dad who keeps my secrets, my big brother
for showing such integrity

ALL others have freedom to act as they please; I ex-
pect nothing from them given difficulties in balancing
average relationship equations – so it is thus Love
means acceptance of ‘what is’

While Trust means a firm knowledge of the ability
of the beloved to implement their good intent;
WISDOM is the key that enables anybody to
live a life of love, safeguarding such trust…

Express Your Conundra

Breathe, call me, talk, speak, and yell
Express yourself, quit giving me hell
Whisper, hum, sing, complain
And shock me; your words will not sink in vain
Through the pipes of my ears
Tell me about it, talk to me about your fears
Teach me; inform me, converse with me
Please make my life easier and my nights easy.

You drive me crazy when you don’t express yourself
A world without words and signs is senseless
Describe the landscapes, the skies; do your best
Okay, you are free to begin your sentences with f
You can say it, express yourself, and talk to me
Mum the words, say something, anything
Use your tongue to beautify the hills and the sea
Blow me kisses in winter, summer and spring.

And never be afraid to make mistakes
Humans were born to err
And to have their situations corrected.

Teacher’s Day,2009

What noble souls can teachers be!

They rear their students parent -like;
They teach them how to read and write;
They mould their character, conduct.

They impart knowledge from when kids;
They show the world what God has made,
Revealing beauty in all things.

They help the pupils learn by rote,
And teach them how to reason out,
And understand the world around.

They teach them sense of values, time,
And tell them what for, one is born,
Contrasting love of God and man.

They sacrifice their lives always,
And serve as role-models to some;
But some are exemplary souls!

They make the kids to become smart,
And train them to be skilled in life.
More mature grows the mind with ken!

For service done, they expect naught;
They teach until they can, no more,
And vanish silently from earth.

What noble souls can teachers be!
Children blossom to fine adults –
Responsible world citizens!

Let students thank and praise these souls
For achievements, accomplishments,
Indebted for the love thus shown!

What noble souls can teachers be!
Their service rendered is afree;
Do bless them well, O Almighty!

The Wasted Words Of All The Years

THE WASTED WORDS OF ALL THE YEARS

The wasted words of all the years-
The time given to them-
A lifetime given to words
Never to be read.

Yet how I lived in those years.
And what hope I had in those words
And how I told my dreams in them
And how I tried to help those I loved.

No one needs the words
And no one wants them
But perhaps the life itself
In writing them
That too counts.

All the years of the words and the dreams and the hopes and the love of those I loved and the striving for greatness not to be.
