I will learn the art of war no more
I will beat my swords into plough shears
I will not prove the lie might is right

I will not sing freedom songs enslaving others
I will not dropp collateral damage bombs on mothers brothers
I will not follow false prophets as invaders hunters

God has commanded thy shalt not kill his children have heard
God has spoken vengeance is mine sayith the Lord
God has said they who live by the sword will die by the sword

Here our soldiers stand from all around the world
Waiting in a line to hear the battle cry
All are gathered here victory is near
The sound will fill the hall bringing power to us all

We alone are fighting for metal that is true
We own the right to live the fight we're here for all of you
Now swear the blood upon your steel will never dry
Stand and fight together beneath the metal sky

Indelible Guilt.

Indelible Guilt.

More scenes of devastation.
The tides of war have left behind.
A naked child wanders alone.
She does not know the ground is mined.

She cries for aid but there is none
There is nobody left to care.
The tides of war have come and gone.
Death and destruction everywhere.

The lucky ones are those who died.
Though she survived: What chance has she
A helpless infant cast aside.
To starve to death most probably.

She may be killed by predators.
Who see her as their lawful prey.
Obeying Mother Nature’s law
Because they know no other way.

Kill or be killed the age old law
Instinctively they all obey
Each and every predator
The hunter can become the prey.

But Man the greatest predator
Brushes Natures rules aside
His greatest skill is making war
His blood lust never satisfied.

What of the child? No one can say
It must remain a mystery
The memory haunts me still today
When I look back regretfully.

The guilt I feel is permanent
Does not abate with passing years.
Still flashbacks to that incident.
Reduce me to impotent tears.

That is the price that soldiers pay.
For answering their countries call.
A guilt that will not fade away
and makes no difference at all.

Though we recall the heroes fall.
No one records the innocent
The weakest ones go the wall
By long established precedent.

It seems that we will never learn
The lessons taught by history
Each generation in its turn.
Must learn experientially.

There are no winners in a war.
The strong survive the weak must die.
Mother Natures age old law
When demand exceeds supply.

he knows the value of patience

Regrets I Do Not Keep

Loosing your innocence is easy,
Like lying to your mom about having another cookie,
Doing something you'll regret, is easy.

Sometimes you have something so great,
And you don't know how important it is,
you don't see it's worth until it's too late,
You don't hold it to your heart, you don't keep it safe,
And then you lose it, and you see, it was great.

Falling to a higher power of want is so easy,
Like waving at a stranger in a car you pass on your way to work,
Becoming a victim to sin and temptation is easy.

So many things in life are given to you to keep,
And some of them you could never give up,
Like the right to show your feelings, the right to smile, to weep,
And these things you take as a given, yet they are truly a gift.
And some of these gifts we treat like nothing, some we do not keep.

Becoming and doing something you would never become or do is easy,
Like doing something before you think,
Falling into the hole of regret is easy.

In life you must live for what you have, not the past.
You must realize what you did and notice how it hurt you so,
But never regret what you have done, for that shall only form a cast,
A cast of what you were, one that keeps you still in a solid state,
You must learn; never live in the past.

I believe in the past, yet it is the present I keep,
I move on past things i have done, I do not look back,
For these regrets, I do not keep.

As God Gave Freely

As God gave freely unto me
gifts of compassion love patience time
so I also give freely unto you

in the fertile landscapes of harvest mind
have I not prepared fields broken ground
have I not sown in full measure love seed

will you now take ownership of these fields?
will you water fertilize tender growth shoots?
will you weed harvest all life love gift fields?

for 18 months more have I alone toiled prepared?
are not these fields without cost to you purchased?
did I not give sacred work all my time livelihood?
