A Little Compassion
a little compassion
goes a long way

before they crisis arise

Injustice In Politics
white collar crime is
immoral an injustice
that many countries
have corrupted allowed
to breed multiply infest
their codes legal systems
bedrock middle working classes
should both teach their children
honour pride dignity of honest
workers is never for sale;
politicians are servants
of the people the nation
their goal in politics
cannot be to amass
wealth for themselves
at the cost of a nations
pride causing poverty
for our fellow citizens;
God said the master
to the slave is equal
politicians today need
to remember history
previous past generations
humane great leaders
who worked
not for themselves
who worked
for the good
of their nation
their people;
who believed in
peace at home
peace in the world
if we continue
to allow disease
white collar crime
to amass millions
billions illegally
for putrid debased
individuals never tried
for heinous greed crimes
upon society perpetrated;
then how can
our nations prosper
when the fat
of the land
is stolen
not shared
people need hope
belief in equal justice
in their nations laws;
people are not
animals they need
a little appreciation
the odd luxury
for themselves
their children
left with nothing
but bare bones
lean nasty blamed
for their own
unemployment
misery poverty;
risks not just
broken lives
but a cold hard
mean day
of accounting
rage vented
a little compassion
goes a long way
justice equality for all
solves many problems
before they crisis arise
time world governments

Hope Always To Write
'hope always to write more
not to be a good poet'
the words of my friend
Hosny Soliman defined
my thoughts perfectly
to write just a little more
to gift just a little more
to give just a little more
with no thought wasted
upon desire to write
a good poem a great poem

Resolved Like Moves In Chess
a stress issue
can be resolved
like moves in chess
same with some problems
same with life problems
discuss as issues merits
offer a few options
we know within ourselves
not only the best solutions
but cop out solutions
half baked solutions
who chooses real solutions?
we could use the phrase
man up and bit the bullet
or chill let problems flow over us?
sometimes
doing nothing
is as bad or worse
than making a mistake
but with a little reflection
you can resolve your stress issues
identify sources
your real desired outcomes
suffer consequences or reap rewards?

Believing In Our Own Medical Cures
health problems shock issues can be intensely personal
we do not need to know the name of medical problems
to believe in our cures in new tomorrows in better days
to offer support comfort to share time with friends in need

The Problems Of The World
THE PROBLEMS OF THE WORLD
The problems of the world-
The problems of my own little life-
Problems and problems and problems.
A poem solves no problems
It escapes into itself
And makes a small world
In which the poet can hide.
The poem is the other world
The one where there is quiet and peace and calm and love
And all which makes one’s own dreams
A morning song.

United Nations Mission World Peace
Our United Nations
its case mission global
to achieve world peace;
so stock take
how many days
of world peace;
has the United Nations
actually achieved since
end of World War Two?
United Nations
Prestigious World Peace;
batting average?
Answer officially
a total of 26 days
of world peace;
since those mass
annihilation days
back in 1945 wars.
Batting total of 26 days
in ticking war torn 66 years;
wars blaze slays pays.
In realistic some ways
peace days; none always;
some war fought forms
of profit wars,
exist at all times;
in some places.
United Nations
peace mandate
success rating sucks!

Mind Song Whale Song Sung
poetic thoughts passed
through me part of mind
song whale song sung
through huge oceans
throughout this world
through water world
oceans are like God’s tears
cried through love of us
love creations slaughtered
as you hunt us down kill us
delight in seas red harvest blood
feast upon our sacrifice flesh
until then we sing mind songs
in love life swimming oceans
in light near surface or darkness
found in pressure ocean depths
all is same one in love life waters
we sing our love in life worships

The Silence Of Indifference
if we do not write about rape issues
sensitive issues volatile issues explosive issues
if we do not voice our condemnation outrage
we then by default support these evils
with the silence of our indifference
with the silence of our fear cowardice
with our refusal to fight against injustice
with our refusal to fight prejudice inequality
with our refusal to fight for dignity for all humanity
