JUMPING JACK FLASHED...by talile ali
HIT BETWEEN THE EYES
WITH AN IMAGE NEVER SHARED
BY THE ONE HE LOOKED UPON
IF IT WERE THEY WOULD BOTH BE IN BED
BUT IT WAS ALL ONE SIDED
AND THE PROBLEMS THERE WERE PLENTY
THE WOMAN BEGAN BY TRYING TO CONVINCE HIM
THAT HE WASN'T GETTING ANY
WITH FLAT DRY LIPPED KISSES
AND TELLS OF WOE AND HELL
THE MAN COULD SEE ALL TO WELL
THAT HE WAS RINGING THIS BELL
HE NEVER COULD UNDERSTAND
ALL THE RULES AND ALL THE GAMES
WHY DIDN'T PEOPLE SAY WHAT THEY MEANT
INSTEAD OF BEING WORDS BLOWN ABOUT TO BLAME
AND SHAME
BUT SO IT WAS FOR THESE TWO
THE HARLEQUIN AND THE FOOL
AND INTO FELL A ANOTHER POOR SOUL
WHO JUST WAS TOO HIGH TO KNOW WHAT TO DO
SHE BECAME INTOXICATED AND ENAMORED
AND EVENTUALLY LOST HER SOUL
WANTING TO BE THE DESIRE OF THE FELLA
SHE LEFT BOTH HER HEART AND MIND EXPOSED
SHE TOLD HIM OF HER FAILED MARRIAGE
AND HOW THINGS QUEERED IN JAPAN
AND HOW HER HUBBY LEFT HER
AND ONLY CAME BACK BECAUSE HE CAN
I LOOKED AT HE IN WONDER
SHE DIDN'T MAKE MUCH SENSE
SHE WOULD REMARRY THIS DUMB BASTARD
SO SHE AND THE KIDS COULD GET HIS BENEFITS
THE I SUDDENLY SAW MY BEST FRIEND
TWENTY YEARS LATER, AND WOE
SHE WOULD BE CHASING AROUND OLD FARTS LIKE ME
AND TELLING THEM HER TELLS, OH NO!
THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN
TO FOLK WHO DON'T LOVE TOO WELL
THEY END UP MARRIED TO MONEY
AND HAVING TO CREEP FOR TAIL.
AND MAYBE SO LONG AS THEY KNOW IT
IT AIN'T AS BAD AS IT SEEMS
CAUSE IF NEITHER OF THEM REALLY LIKED IT
WOULDN'T ONE OR THE OTHER LEAVE THE SCENE?
SO WATCHING ALL OF THIS DRAMA
WAS LIKE WATCHING JUMPING JACK FLASHED
I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW SO MANY PEOPLE
SO CHOSE TO NOT LIVE THEIR OWN LIFES
I AIN'T SAYING CHASING AROUND THE YOUNG
WHILE YOU ARE MARRIED TO SOMEONE YOU HATE
IS WRONG
I AM SAYING THAT WHY DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?
THATS ALL.
WHY DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?
BUT THIS WORLD IS SO DECEPTIVE AND DISHONEST
THAT THE WICKED AND DECEITFUL GET THE GOODS
MAKES IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THERE WILL EVER BE
ANY BENEFIT FOR DOING ANY GOOD

Torture remains
i cried myself to sleep,
3 hours later,
i still can't think of nothing else,
the torture you did to me,
you made me bow down to you,
you made me do what i didn't want to do,
i was scared of you,
a child who wanted to be loved,
becames a sexual toy instead,
what makes it worse,
you wasn't even family,
everybody had there doubts,
but you made them believe,
that you were some kind of saint,
made me feel like i don't belong,
i still feel that way until this day,
in my heart i know i'm better than just sex,
but in my mind i believe its all i'm good for,
do you know how hard it is,
to live in a world that you feel,
could of been better?
i will never get back what i lost to you,
a sense of pride was lost,
a sense of joy to use my body,
the way it was surpose to be use for love,
i feel it as being wrong,
the people i have feelings for,
just can't understand why,
i'm left with telling,
and them leaving me,
or keeping to myself,
having them think i'm just a tease,
and move on,
either way,
i guess i don't have much to lose,
it either,
let somebody i think i have a future with in,
and let them make the choice to stay by my side,
or let them move onto a girl with less problems,
but i hate not having that control,
and when i look at it,
i don't really have as much control as i think,
i just can't go through another rejection from a guy,
because of my past,
it's not even right,
to have to loose something important to you,
all because it was something you didn't ask for,
in the first place.

It Makes You Think
It makes you think
What if one day you weren't found?
If you just didn't wake
If all they could see of you was under a mound
If your soul was God's to take
It makes you think
What if you lost everything you had ever known?
If it all just went away
If suddenly you were all alone
It will happen to you someday
It makes you think
What if you left your family and friends?
If you had no time to say goodbye
If you were not able to make amends
Or apologize for any lies
It makes you think
What if you left everyone you love?
If you went to some place you didn't know
Whether that place was up above
Or if it was down below
It makes you think
Some days you think you have had enough
Because you got some bad news
You want to give up on being tough
But people don't always get to choose
It makes you think
One day you might lose everything
It will all get left behind
You will be stuck with nothing
No one will know what went through your mind
It makes you think
Think about how your decision could affect others
How will they feel?
Do you think things would be better?
Do you think they will ever heal?
It makes you think

Stories Of Hope Series #8 Old Friend
I came across a friend today
It had been so long I didn’t know what to say.
The words seemed to escape my mind
For it had been such a long time.
She asked me about my family
and how life was treating me.
Not wanting to tell her all I had been through
I said: fine! How about you?
She sensed that there was something on my mind
That I did not want to speak about.
She carefully chose her words, and told me
What she was going through
And all the things that she had to do.
She had lost her job, lost her family to divorce
It was the only solution, it was the only course.
She had fallen into a depression
All because of the economic recession
She started to bicker and fight
And blame her husband, which wasn’t right.
I then started to tell her that I was in the same boat as she
And I felt that the world was closing in on me.
I found the bills so hard to meet
And that soon I would be in the street.
I was supposed to be the man, the bread winner.
And I couldn’t even buy a TVs. dinner.
She looked at me and said: I know!
But there was a place to go.
To go to the house of GOD, and you will
Find the strength within, for there is your
Family, and there is your friend.
I went with her to the house of GOD
And as I walked in, I felt a sense of relief
For I had been released of all my anguish and grief.
I walked towards the altar and got down
On my knees to pray.
There was so much to GOD that I had to say.
Why is it that I’m going through all these aches and pains
I have been good, and there is nothing of which I am ashamed.
I am trying to meet my obligations to all the ones I love
But I need your help, so send me an angel from the heavens up above.
I then heard music, and a voice so gently say.
Your angel has been with you, and you met her just today.
I did not understand just what he had meant
The only one I met was just an old friend.
The thought then entered my mind and I looked back to see.
She was an angel which GOD had chosen for me.
to lead me on this path, to his house of prayer
For that is where he wanted me to show that he cared.
I walked out of the church with a new found HOPE
For he had given me strength and showed me how to cope.
HOPE IS THE KEY, IT WILL SET YOU FREE.

Because of What You Did
You tell me I can't do anything right
You tell me I'm wasting my breath
You tell me I'm useless
You tell me I should die
You got your wish, what's wrong?
You didn't think I'd do it?
Didn't think I'd have the guts?
‘Cause you called me a coward
Did you think that it wouldn't happen eventually?
That your words would just bounce off?
Didn't you call me too sensitive?
That I over-reacted, you said
Perhaps you thought I was too stupid
To do what was smarter than staying
In a world where I was ‘unloved and unwanted'
According to what you were saying
Anyway, who cares, right?
It's what you wanted, regardless
So do whatever you want now I'm gone
And there's no one to pick on
I'm happier where I am
Hope you get what you deserve
The place you're going will be the same
As being in my shoes, while alive
Because of what you did to me
I left for a better place
It back-fired, didn't it, because I'm happy
And you can go to hell

The Way Lifes Meant To Be
Well, I came a long way to be here today
And I left you so long on this avenue
And here I stand in the strangest land
Not knowing what to say or do
As I gaze around at these strangers in town
I guess the only stranger is me
And I wonder (yes, I wonder)
Yes, I wonder (oh, I wonder)
Is this the way lifes meant to be?
Although its only a day since I was taken away
And left standing here looking in wonder
(its your life, its your life)
Ah, the ground at my feet, maybe its just the old street
But everything that I know lies under
(its your life, its your life)
And when I see what theyve done
To this place that was home
Shame is all that I feel
Oh, and I wonder (oh, I wonder)
Yes, I wonder (wonder, wonder, wonder, wonder)
Is this the way lifes meant to be?
Too late, too late to cry
The people say
Too late for you, too late for me
Youve come so far, now you know everything my friend
Look and see the wonders of our world...
And I wonder (oh, I wonder)
Yes, I wonder (yes, I wonder)
Is this the way lifes meant to be?
As I wander around this wreck of a town
Where people never speak aloud
With its ivory towers and its plastic flowers
I wish I was back in 1981
Just to see your face instead of this place
Now I know what you mean to me
And I wonder (oh, I wonder)
Yes, I wonder (yes, I wonder)
Is this the way lifes meant to be?
And I wonder (oh, I wonder)
Yes, I wonder, wonder, wonder, wonder
Is this the way lifes meant to be?
Ooohh, I wonder
Oh, I wonder, wonder, wonder
Is this the way lifes meant to be?
Oh, is this the way lifes meant to be?
Mmmmm, is this the way lifes meant to be?
I wanna know now
Is this the way lifes meant to be?

Two Fortune Tellers Said
When Vera and I first met,
a second marriage
was the last thing on her mind.
Her first husband had not long run off
with a fourteen year old
and left this world in a suicide pact.
Some years earlier,
a Fortuneteller had told her
she would never end her days with him.
She would meet a tall dark person
sooner than she thought.
She shrugged off the suggestion,
as she never wanted to marry again.
With a failed marriage
that only brought her grief.
She was not going to take the chance again.
Once was enough.
She could never trust
anyone again.
Years earlier in my life
a Fortuneteller told me
I would settle down
with someone with the initial D.
My way of thinking that was a Christian name
like Dorothy or Diane,
but not a surname.
When her husband died
being a friend I attended his funeral,
never dreaming that one day
his widow would
eventually become my wife.
After all her name began
with a V and not a D.
Then a group of his friends
met one night in a coffee bar.
Someone suggested one of us
take her out for an evening.
As there were no takers,
so I volunteered.
However, I joke about it now.
We went out together
time and time again.
When I asked her to marry me,
she wasn’t really sure.
Memories of her previous marriage
kept plaguing her,
but eventually she said yes.
After we were married,
she could not totally trust.
Even though she was reassured
that I was not like her first husband
and wouldn’t cheat on her.
That I wasn’t like that.
Almost two years passed
before trust slowly returned.
It was then she realised
that I was the one
the Fortuneteller had told her about.
You cannot get much taller than six foot three.
As for me and the initial D.
Vera’s married surname
began with the initial D.
Here we are through troubles thick and thin
fast approaching
our 38th Wedding Anniversary.
We’ve hardly been parted
within those years.
Not because of distrust,
but because of love.
We get lonely
whenever we are apart.
Now as for fortune-tellers,
I’m not sure what to believe.
It would seem a coincidence
that two different people
would predict our lives together.
This is true and I wonder
was it just a lucky guess,
or is there more to it.
I’ll let you decide.

Feel Like A Fool
Every guy that I have seriously liked
in the last 10 years
is married now.
All except two.
I feel like a fool.
Guy #1
seriously messed with
my heart and mind.
He would never admit it.
It took me almost 5 years
to get over him.
Everyone knew I should move on
but I was the last to know.
I thought he was so amazing.
I saw his passion and his
spiritual gifts
and I tried my best
to turn a blind eye
to his faults.
I have so many
of my own,
who am I
to judge another?
He called me
the Proverbs 31 woman.
How did he know
that is the woman
that I aspire to be?
He planned
my birthday party
when others dropped out.
He was the reliable one.
Most of the time
that was not the case.
But that time
he shined.
But he constantly
had me on a tightrope
and he constantly broke his word
and hurt me
over and over
and over.
Eventually, I didn't really want
to put myself out there
again.
Too many guys have
failed me.
It gets old.
Guy #1 eventually moved in
with one of my former best female friends.
Her and her husband.
Unusual, yes.
Eventually she left her husband
and then her and her husband just got divorced.
He tells me they
have a good friendship, healthy.
I know him too well to agree.
I am so glad I am over him
but sometimes,
still
even now
it can be akward.
I stopped letting him in
emotionally,
and stopped bending over backwards
for a guy
who never appreciated it.
Who never appreciated me.
I just wish we didn't have
so many mutual friends in common.
That is unfortunate.
And I feel like a fool.
I wasted so much time
on him
and he scarred me so.
Then there is Guy #2.
I thought he was so incredible.
I thought he was so talented.
I admired him so much,
and his boldness blew me away.
That is all still true.
It was nice for me
to see that good guys
still existed
and maybe there could be
hope.
But I made
two errors in judgment
and grace seemed to be elusive
or at the very least,
it seemed hidden.
I need to be respected
and I need consistent acknowledgement.
The world is not good at that
but I need my guy to be.
Also, I am confident
that he judged me
for several negative actions
that I never did.
Truth be told,
I really am not one
to run after a guy,
especially when I have been too hurt before
and it makes me cry.
I would hope
that he would know
my character better than that,
but, alas,
maybe not.
If he never asked me
and just assumed,
then who am I to point out
that his assumptions are wrong?
I want someone who has
more faith in me
than that.
Yet
I still wish
that he has faith left in me.
But
if that is true
then I need him to show it.

Love set up in Flames
I thought you were the one. I mean we were so happy, of course we had our share of fights but who doesn’t. I would of done anything for you and I thought you felt the same. But you set our love up in flames. All I’m left with now are ashes and memories of what use to be. It kills me inside not knowing where it all went wrong. In just one day my world fell a part and I was like a bystander that could do nothing about it. How could you go from always wanting to be with me and telling me you would never break up with me because it would break your own heart, to not caring about even being my friend or talking to me? How can you just walk right past me like you don’t even know me after all the love we shared? You told me you always wanted to find love but when you did you just threw it away like it was nothing. I know it wasn’t always good but love isn’t perfect you always have to work at it because nobody is perfect so of course its not going to be, but it is worth it. I mean people make mistakes and change but your suppose to love them through it. I’m just so lost without you and I try to make my heart understand that you don’t love me and that it needs to get over it but it doesn’t listen. So tell me baby how can I get over you when your all I think about and every sign points straight to you? I guess all the signs are and were wrong though because you don’t care and I can’t make you love me again if you ever truly did. I mean it seemed like you did the way you held me, kissed me, that look in your eyes and all the things you said but then again maybe it was all for show. I guess I will truly never know if you did or not and if so how and why did you stop. All I know is that I can’t stop loving you even though you are a jerk to me now I remember how you use to be so sweet. I miss everything about you even hearing you play you guitar, and listening to your crazy blues music. I would do anything to get it all back and I know it would be better this time. But I know you don’t care. So I’m just left holding the ashes of a love gone wrong that’s slowly turning to hate with no way to make it right again. Oh how sad it is when a love goes up in flames and the one you loved did it. It kills a part of you that is forever lost and nothing is ever the same again because it changes you.

Didn't Expect It
I never thought you will move back to California forever because of me I make you leave here
I’m feel so horrible and I
Didn’t expect it
Once I found out it hurts so much
It opens my eyes
Now you are gone
I didn’t make right choices and
Break you into million pieces
Things will never be same
I’m so sorry
I feel like I know you forever
We were so close in school in 10th grade
How I can get over you
You were different and what I’m looking for
I can be me around you and have fun with you, but
Things change in 11th grade
I can’t smile, laugh, and have fun like I use to around you
I regret for not dating you
You know how I feel about you
I never give us a chance
What have I done?
I didn’t see how you were good for me
Letting you down, I feel so bad
Most of poems I write are about you
That’s all I think to write about is you
I’m out of words to write because of you
On the hand
You told me that you never want to go out with me
It don’t seems like you mean it, I bet you did
You wish we were dating by the way I’m with other guys and
Not with you flirting, smiling and having good time
Memories of us have fun, laugh, hurt by each other,
Joy and time we had spent in class in 10th grade
I never going forget it after all and
It impossible to do that
I miss you too much I know I have to let you go, but
It hurts too much and to be with other guys
It’s not same like when I with you and
I can’t love them like I did with you
All I think about is you
There something I need to figure out
Why I can’t let you go yet?
What I like about you that was special?
I don't know yet
I'm so clueless
I bet you had move on and dating someone else
It’s not my business
I need to move on too
You gone forever and
You thought you knew me but you don't, I do
I’m not going let you hold me back
I make you wait too long
I thought second chance
I will I get you but I didn’t
I lie and you hate people lying to you
You did too and you put people in your games
I did or say things make you change your feelings about me
I was so confused and hopeless
It all happen so fast and so much going on
I feel so bad
My life getting worster in school
I can’t blame you and I
Didn’t expect it
When you hurt me back and get revenge
You are one to blame on and me too
This end in tragedy and so many damages happen
This is life
We are one to be blame
We like to get attention that’s
What all our friends say I bet
We turn out to be jerk especially you
I will never spread rumors about you like the way you did to me
I feel so hurt and sad that you did that
This side I never saw before
You do anything to hurt me back so badly
My heart is shatter
I thought you were different
Everything reminds me of you
My friends were right about you
I need to take their advices
They getting tired of this and mad
They hate when I changes
They want me stop living like this
You never care about me
Wow, I’m shock right now
I feel so dumb for loving you this long and so much
I’m just speechless right now and I need to live my life
Having fun every day and night
Life is short like I say
Didn’t expect it
To know it now is better
I can move on for good
I’m stupid to wait around longer
Their never going be us or chances going happen
Is all over now and
You live in west of United Stated
I need to trust people and stop lying
Didn’t expect it

Justice Part 1
It was
Just another day
Or so I thought
But madness
Had got me
I didn't even know
I was walking
Through the city
Minding my own
When I saw a man
Hurt someone
I should have known
I should have turned away
I should have gone another way
But my mind
Wouldn't let me
It was too far away
I'm chasing
I'm chasing
I'm gaining
But i'm losing
I'm fighting
But i'm not moving
I'm chasing
My dreams away
I catch him
I beat him
I take the blame for him
Then I pay
For what he done
Twenty years of pain
Justice never done

Mary Lou
Words and music by young jessie and sam ling
Im gonna tell you a story bout mary lou
You know the kind of woman make a fool of you
She make a young man itch
She man an old man faint
The way she took my money was a crying shame
Mary lou she took my watch and chain
Mary lou she took my diamond ring
Mary lou she took the keys to my cadillac car
Jumped in my kitty and drove off far
Left me stranded in kalamazoo
Making her fortune off a fool like you
She married a rich man
Had a dozen kids
Drove that cat until he flipped his lid
Come back into town about a week ago
Told me she was sorry that she hurt me so
I had a fifty-five ford and a two dollar bill
The way she looked at that man gave me a chill

Old Mates
I came up to-night to the station, the tramp had been longish and cold,
My swag ain't too heavy to carry, but then I begin to get old.
I came through this way to the diggings -- how long will that be ago now?
Thirty years! how the country has altered, and miles of it under the plough,
And Jack was my mate on the journey -- we both run away from the sea;
He's got on in the world and I haven't, and now he looks sideways on me.
We were mates, and that didn't mean jokers who meets for a year or a day,
We meant to go jogging together the whole of the blooming long way.
We slept with one blanket between us the night that we run from the port,
There was nothing above us but heaven, yet we took it as jolly good sport.
And now he's the boss of a station, and I'm -- well, the bloke that you see;
For he had the luck and I hadn't, and now he looks sideways on me.
We pegged out a claim on the Dunstan, there used to be gold in them days,
There's blokes that still sticks to the digging, but Lord only knows how it pays;
For the country as far as I've seen it's as chock full of holes as a sieve
With the Chinkies amullocking through it, and yet them coves manage to live.
But when Jack took me to the cradle, the place was a wonder to see,
We washed out a fortune between us, and now he looks sideways on me.
We both fell in love with one woman -- she worked in a pub for a spell;
It ain't the best place for an angel, but angels ain't better than Nell;
For she was as good as they make 'em and hadn't a notion of ill --
It's long years and years since we parted, and seems I'm in love with her still!
But Jack was the handsomest fellow -- I saw how the thing had to be;
He got the best wife on the diggings, and now he looks sideways on me.
I left him, I just couldn't stand it -- I knew it was better to part;
I couldn't look on at the wedding with a pain like a knife at my heart!
I never said nothing to no one -- we didn't whack out all the gold;
I wanted my mate to be happy without my own yarn being told.
So I went to the coast by the steamer, and now I'm the bloke that you see;
He told me to go to the wharè, it seems he looks sideways on me.
There's steps coming down to the wharè -- some other poor bloke on the road;
'Taint nothing to him to get growled at, the boss ain't a bloke that he knowed.
Too dark to make out who's a-coming -- he's crossing the plank at the creek;
The years and the whisky are telling, my eyesight begins to get weak.
What's the odds? it ain't like me to whimper, and all that's gone by had to be,
But the old times came crowding around me to see him look sideways on me.
What, Jack! Why, old man, you don't mean it? You didn't right know it was me?
Well I'm altered -- it ain't for the better -- never mind, never mind, let it be.
O mate, the long years since we parted -- there's a blooming great lump in my throat --
I ain't been as glad, mate, I tell you, since the time that we run from the boat.
You ain't a bit altered -- you're crying -- why, Jack, don't be sorry for me,
I'm that glad that I think I'll go cranky -- and I thought you looked sideways on me.

Ryan's Journey
There cannot be something bigger than me.
My body and mind it would say.
The things I see and the things I hear.
They must be the only way.
For years I truly believed this.
And then one day I did fall.
The things that I thought were the truth and were right.
It wasn’t the truth at all.
I then set out on a journey.
To places that I’d never known.
It was a journey to go in my mind and my heart.
And to soften my heart made of stone.
I was given a book and some angels.
To lead me on my new quest.
My old journey it brought the worst out of me.
I hoped this new one could bring out the best.
The journey began dark and was painful.
The hurts that were hidden inside.
It was then I reached the first destination.
This place it was called “Ryan’s Pride”.
I thought I was bigger then everything.
But something was bigger than me.
As I walked through the town that was called Ryan’s pride.
I thought to myself how could this be?
In this town I saw so many people.
And they all looked just like myself.
Everything they said they were right, I was wrong.
Time to put this town up on a shelf.
I said farewell to this town.
Down another path is where I went.
It was then I came across another big town.
This town it was called “I Resent”.
Everyone in this town was so bitter.
And the language they spoke was called hate.
They carried these things they called “grudges”.
On a dirty and tarnished old slate.
So I went and I purchased some “grudges”.
Saw the dirtiest slate I’d ever seen.
Then I went and purchased some bleach and some cloths.
And I wiped my dirty slate clean.
I left 'I Resent' shortly after.
I was glad it was bitter and cold.
The next stop on my journey of life.
Was a town that was called “I Controlled”.
Everyone in this place was so bossy.
And they picked each other apart.
Not letting anyone try to be themselves.
A town beating with only one heart.
I tried to fit into this town here.
But nobody would just let me be.
It just didn’t matter, I was never right.
These people they wouldn’t accept me.
In this town I saw a girl fall and get hurt.
I went and helped her to her feet.
And she said, “I am such a failure”.
This girl she looked truly beat.
I told her she was not a failure.
There was a lesson she learned from her fall.
I encouraged her for she had so many strengths.
And then this humble girl stood very tall.
I pondered the paths I had walked down.
And the cities that I came across.
I realized when I came to these cities in these towns.
That my heart and my mind they were lost.
All the people I hurt and battered.
The promises I never kept.
The burdens I placed on the people I loved.
It was me that I didn’t accept.
There were many more towns that I visited.
In the journey of my heart and my mind.
It wasn’t until the final stop I would reach.
It is where the Truth I would find.
This town it sat very empty.
Not a soul in this place did I see.
It was a beautiful town, it was called 'Love'.
This peaceful place was just for me.
Our world it is filled with seekers.
And we each were given a quest.
Sometimes you have to see the worst in yourself.
And just know it can bring out the best.
I am thankful that I took my journey.
I am thankful for my loving guide.
For the destination He wanted me to reach.
It came from my journey inside.

I didn't get to say goodbye
I didn't get to tell you that I love you
I didn't even tell you how I feel
You left in a hurry
Without a sound
With no clues
I have to ask why
Why did you have to leave me
Why didn't you tell me how you feel
I don't understand
Why you left
Is it because the God wanted you
But I am selfish I won't share you
Not even with God
You were my hero
My idol
My star
You had my heart
And when you died
You took my heart with you
But that's okay
Because I know I will soon
Be with you
Then I can have my heart back
You are in heaven
Away from all this distruction
But I must ask
Why didn't you take me
Then I could of truly told you everything
You are older than I am
But I still love you
You made mistakes
But so have I
I didn't want us to be together
But I want us to be able to tell each other anything
I wanted us to become Great friends
But now you are gone
Gone to heaven
Is that the best thing
If so for who
You left millions of people
Heartbroken and sad
Gone to heaven
Must be good for you
No distruction
No evil
All good
I didn't say goodbye
And that is killing me
I didn't say all the things I wanted to
That's tearing me apart
I am going to miss you
But as you leave
Another comes
Maybe he wil be like you
But I would have died for you
I am crying my heart and soul out for you
Praying you know that I loved you
You changed millions of poeple's lives
Including myself
You made me believe
I can too feel the music
The beat is within my heart
Closing my eyes
Picturing you here
Is not the same
Of having you here
With all of us
You left behind
Your family
friends
fans
me
Would you have come back to us all
Or would you wait for us
Until our time comes
But now it's time for us to let you go
People will never forget
How you changed everything
We will miss you forever
But now it's time to say goodbye
So goodbye Michael Jackson

Why Did You Leave Me
If only you could see the tears
In the world you left behind
If only you could hear my heart
Just one more time
Even when I close my eyes
There is an image of your face
Once again I come to realize
You have lost that I cant replace
Soul then die
Its keeping for the lonely
Since the day that your were gone
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
In my heart you were the only
And your memory lives on
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
Walking down the streets on nothing will
Where our love was young and free
Cant believe just what an empty place
It has come to be
I would give my life away
If it can only be the safe
Cas I could still the voice inside of me
That is calling out your name
Soul then die
Its keeping for the lonely
Since the day that your were gone
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
In my heart you were the only
And your memory lives on
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
Time will never change the things
That you told me
And after all we mean to be
Love would bring us back to you and me
If only you could see...
Soul then die(soul then die)
Its keeping for the lonely(for the lonely)
Since the day that your were gone
Why did you leave me
Soul then die
In my heart you were the only
And your memory lives on
Why did you leave me
Soul then die...

People-in-love stay hurt ever
Some friends of mine
Consider that
I may be a solution-finder
To some of their problems
I know I am not smart
I know I am not very thoughtful
I know I take hasty risky decisions
But still there are people
Who feel they get some comfort
In sharing some of their problems
A friend of mine
Came to me with a personal matter
To get some semblance of solution
It was indeed very difficult
To decide whichy way to go
He was narrating
He received a call
And a feable female sweet voice
Tells 'I want to marry your son'
My friend was aware
That his son fell in love
With a colleague of his
And the girl belongs to a different faith
His son was explained
How traditional customs will get affected
By this option abd hence
Was told to settle down
With an arranged matched alliance
His son seemed to have fallen in line
With this proposal from the parents
And my friend was in search of suitable alliance
Marriage has not fructified, though
This love-related conflict apparently got softened
When he got this call
It was full six months later
So, it looks affair is cooking still
My friend was mentioning
That this was first time
He happened to talk to this girl
She was telling she broke an engagement
As she was not able to leave her beloved
And she has no other go but to talk
To my friend to explore
The possibility of getting married to his son
My friend told her what all his son was tutored
Against getting married across traditions
Wished her well and the strength to
Change her mind to settle down
With the suitable alliance from her own community
The girl cried, sobbed
And repeatedly was telling that
She will be happy only with her beloved
And was mentioning that my friend's son
Will only be happy when married to her
My friend made it clear
That he cannot and will not
Give a nod to this proposal
And she disconnected
My friend was mentioning
What pained him most was
That cry
Of that girl, totally unknown to him
And the guilt feeling
Of having hurt someone hurt
He was asking how to go about this
I maintained silence for quite long
As if I suggest one way
The communities get hurt
And if I do the other
The lovers get hurt
He waited and left
Saying that since you heard this
I will soon get a solution
I did not, however, tell him
Communities soon get relieved of the hurt
While people-in-love stay hurt ever

The Vampire
A fool there was and he made his prayer
(Even as you and I!)
To a rag and a bone and a hank of hair
(We called her the woman who did not care),
But the fool he called her his lady fair
(Even as you and I!)
Oh the years we waste and the tears we waste
And the work of our head and hand,
Belong to the woman who did not know
(And now we know that she never could know)
And did not understand.
A fool there was and his goods he spent
(Even as you and I!)
Honor and faith and a sure intent
But a fool must follow his natural bent
(And it wasn't the least what the lady meant),
(Even as you and I!)
Oh the toil we lost and the spoil we lost
And the excellent things we planned,
Belong to the woman who didn't know why
(And now we know she never knew why)
And did not understand.
The fool we stripped to his foolish hide
(Even as you and I!)
Which she might have seen when she threw him aside --
(But it isn't on record the lady tried)
So some of him lived but the most of him died --
(Even as you and I!)
And it isn't the shame and it isn't the blame
That stings like a white hot brand.
It's coming to know that she never knew why
(Seeing at last she could never know why)
And never could understand.

Love Hurts
I heard her footsteps on the driveway
whilst I was lying in our bed,
she’s been out all night again,
sleeping elsewhere instead.
I asked her why she does this.
but she turned and looked away,
she then said she wants a good time
and isn’t ready to live life my way.
She was too young when she married
and babies came along too soon,
but now they’re more independent,
her feet itch when she sees the moon.
I asked where our marriage was going
and she said that she just didn’t care.
All she wanted to do was live her life
in someplace where I wasn’t there.
So I asked her if she still loved me
and she said she never really did,
and the only reason she married
was because she was having my kid.
With tears I told her that I loved her
and there was no one else for me.
She shrugged and said that’s tough,
but she wanted to be set free.
So our marriage is now over
and the children live with me.
Their mother has gone forever
and that’s the way it has to be.

Glittering Girl
She wasn't a fool, that glittering girl
She followed the rules, that shimmering pearl
Said the rules Mama preaches
Go down when they break
The things Mama teaches
You just gotta shake
But she wasn't a fool, that slender love figure
She followed her rule and made money bigger
She wasn't a fool, that shining young woman
She followed her rule, she's crying for no man
Said the rules Mama teaches
Go down when they're broken
She explodes into peaches
And cries when I've spoken
She wasn't a fool, that goddess of hell
There are no mother's rules, she makes them herself
If I was down upon my knees
To beg her, surrender up to me
Something inside her
Told her she shouldn't
Tried and alight her
But the girl wouldn't
She wasn't a fool but love flowed from her face
She's not scared of me, she's afraid of disgrace
She wasn't a fool that female for our world
She followed her rules, that glittering girl
That glittering girl
That glittering girl
That glittering girl

Things To Be
I hear the sound of thunder
roll across a blue sky
seen the strike's of lightning
above smokey water
as I lay on some distant shore
watching my soul die
in time never ending
where there is nothing I feel
I found myself some-where
I have never been before
just an empty space
some place buried in my mind
where there was no darkness
the world didn't shine with light
I felt no sadness with this emptiness
that lives inside of me I can't find
there was no happiness
my tears only fell at night
love was long out of sight
And as I walked closer to me
in a dream never clear
I saw of things to be
watching it all disappear
in a world full of hate and greed
a time this world is going to bleed
with all that we deceive
As I ride on a white spirit horse
that came down to take me home
I see nothing in this future real
nature will still take her course
all will be gone with what you believe
nothing left here to grieve
I'm not here anymore
I find myself alone
Then I woke from this place
there was no smile on any face
everything lost without a trace
and these were the things to be
