I hold onto life!
I hold onto life
Waiting for a better tomorrow
I hold on to life
Despites its constant sorrows
I hold onto life
For I know I am free to go
Once to it, I return what I borrow
Life is nice when it flows
Life is priceless in life itself
In its hardship I strive
Enjoying the pleasurables
For in life, hope is always near and fresh
For dust to dust is the human flesh
Life never gives more or less
The meaning itself is forever pointless
But I still hold onto life like you!

Life is....
Life is precious
While one is concious
Life is fabulous
And joyous for the righteous
Life is monstrous
Inflicting sad moments while callous
Life makes us anxious
That feeling of life is always infectious
Life is beautiful
When adventurous and dareful
Life is a challenge with a purposeful goal
For others life is about revenge and control
Life is a lesson for all persons
Life is the reason for life
As we exist season by season
The complexity of life is awesome
An illusion of reality so gruesome

I Got To Get A Message To You
The preacher talked with me and he smiled
Said, Come and walk with me
Come and walk one more mile
Now for once in your life you're alone
But you ain't got a dime
There's no time for the phone
I've just gotta get a message to you
Hold on, hold on
One more hour and my life will be through
Hold on, hold on
I told him I'm in no hurry
But if I broke her heart
Then won't you tell her I'm sorry
And for once in my life I'm alone
And I've gotta let her know
just in time before I go
I've just gotta get a message to you
Hold on, hold on
One more hour and my life will be through
Hold on, hold on
Well I laughed but that didn't hurt
And it's only her love
That keeps me wearing this dirt
Now I'm crying but deep down inside
Well I did it to him
Now it's my turn to die
I've just gotta get a message to you
Hold on, hold on
One more hour and my life will be through
Hold on, hold on
I've just gotta get a message to you
Hold on, hold on
One more hour and my life will be through
Hold on, hold on

Hold On To Your Dream
In life we have our pains and sorrows
Face mountains we think we can't climb
Nothing can there's always tomorrow
You feel like giving up, you say you're out of luck
But then you hear a voice in your mind
Telling you to
Hold on to your dream
Cause they're always worth having
Hold on to your dream
Like a father to his son
Don't let anyone ever steal your joy from you
Hold on to your dream
till the day that life is said and done
This world is filled peaks and valleys
With rivers we think we can't cross
To busy keeping sorrows telling
You say you're at you're in
You say you never win
But then a light comes on in your mind
Till you
Hold on to your dream
Cause they're always worth having
Hold on to your dream
Like a father to his son
Don't let anyone ever steal your joy from you
Hold on to your dream
Until the day that life is said and done
If you wanna hold on to something
You better hold on to your dreams
If you want to hold on to something
You've gotta hold to your love
To your love
So if they try to burst your bubble
It's cons they haven't done em all
And when you feel you are in trouble
Hold your head up high and feel your heart inside
And know that you are never alone
Just as long as you
Hold on to your dream
Cause they're always worth having
Hold on to your dream
Like a father to his son
Don't let anyone ever steal your joy from you
Hold on to your dream
till the day that life is said and done
Hold on to your dream
Cause they're always worth having
Hold on to your dream
Like a mother to her child
Don't let anyone ever steal your dreams from you
Hold on to your dream
And do your best to always wear a smile
Hold on to your dream

Days
- Album: Reality
- Lyrics and music by David Bowie
Hold me tight
Keep me cool
Going mad
Don't know what to do
Do I need a friend?
Well I need one now
All the days of my life
All the days of my life
All the days I owe you
All I've done
I've done for me
All you gave
You gave for free
I gave nothing in return
And theres little left of me
All the days of my life
All the days of my life
All the days I owe you
With redeyed pain I'm knocking on your door again
My crazy brain in tangles pleading for your gentle voice
Those storms keep pounding through my faded heart
I'll play your sooth my sorry soul
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days I owe you
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days I owe you
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days of my life
(All the days of my life)
All the days I owe you
All the days of my life

Life is a challenge, accept it
Life is a wish, want it
Life is a book, read it and observe
Life is a fight, battle it
Life is a tear, face it
Life is a smile, enjoy it and embrace
Life is a game, play it
Life is a journey, complete it

By the river
By the river I stand
Waves amass together with ease
Along the river banks sand
With little ripples as they please
How fascinating, these waves really tease!
Bestowing upon me a quiet sense of peace
As the tension in my muscles release
Watching with a shiver
I gaze with marvel at the river
For I am an avid believer
There is more than life it delivers
This feeling is mutual
The river signifies something spiritual
Right down below it is factual
Life form continues to mature and grow
And whilst the river flows
Who knows what life holds for us tomorrow

Love Has A Hold On Me
I have found a perfect mystery
Love has a hold on me
Long before my life had come to be
Love had a hold on me
Love has a hold on me
Where do I come from
Where does life mean
Is it not to know the one who made me
As Im looking down the road ahead
Love has a hold on me
Someday when I breathe my dying breath
Love has a hold on me
Love has a hold on me
Where will I go
When this life is through
Back into the light that made me and you
Love has a hold on me
Something opened up my eyes to see
Love has a hold on me
Love has a hold on me
I dont have answers to all the questions
Running inside of my mind
But I cant help believe that
Understanding comes in time
Love has a hold on me
Something opened up my eyes to see
Love has a hold on me
Love has a hold on me
If I run, if I hide, I know inside
Your love has a hold on me
Tell me yes, tell me no, my heart will follow
Your love has a hold on me
If I run, if I hide
Your love has a hold on me
Your love has a hold on me
Your love has a hold on me
Hold on me

The Life of One
The life of one is good
The life of one is bad
The life of one is glad
The life of one is sad
The life of one smiles
The life of one cries
The life of one see's the brightness of the sun
The life of one see's the dust rolling of there shoes
The life of one see's the beutifull of the night sky
The life of one see's the horror of darkness in the night
The life of one see's the beutifull in people
The life of one see's the ugly in people
The life of one is happy
The life of one is lost
The life of one is in attention
The life of one doesnt give a shit
The life of one cares for others
The life of one acts like he/she dont know you
The life of one see's the birds singing threw out the day
The life of one see's the shallows of the underworld
The life of one see's the wolrds happenings
The life of one see's the nothing at all
The life of one see's the person in you
The life of one see's the flow of nothing
The life is just life

This Is My Life
Life defines in Metabolism,
In reproduction,
we make our miniature selves,
our look alike
In the power of adaptation,
like what is in now,
What is fashionable,
how I blend with all of you
How I mimic you,
how I become a clown to you,
Life in being nice
This is my life A short and a merry one
This my life In the middle of my own life
To life,
a life,
in the hope of discovering the meaning of my life,
My speech my poetry
Come to life with me
To the life,
for the life of one like me,
Not taking this life in my own hands,
Never,
never,
To life,
this is life
As big as life
as large as life is large
In resiliency,
in elasticity
Animations, cartooning, animate,
I vivify
I vilify
I quicken
I liken
The life force in my life’s functions
Drawn from life
to life drawn
Dream to life a life full of dreams
This liveliness, this sparkle
This effervescence of life,
this bubbling life like wine
This sprightliness like soft
Drink like energy drinks
This verve,
this vigor
this vivacity
Of life to life as big as life
My life
This is my life
This me I am life
I am energy
i am in this poem trying to run
away from everything in my life,
running in life
to life and life,
because of life,
for life.

Life is Life
Sometimes I attempt to climb ladders
Sometimes I hold pee in my bladder
And there are days I feel exhausted
Almost like I have been combusted
But Life is Life
It doesn't really matter
It will carry on
You can spend it alone
You can share what you have sown
Or you can enjoy it all on your own
Sometimes I read the news
And it gives me chills rather than blues
That I have to give credit to those in poverty
Who embrace it peacefully with open honesty!
But Life is Life
It doesn't really matter
Wars will be lost, some will be won
And babies will continue to be born
Sometimes there is rain, sometimes sun
And some will inevitably die by the hands of a gun
Sometimes I am shy
And I don't know why?
Sometimes I am horny
And I weary my hair in a pony
The fashion magazines, the luxurious limousines
Make you want to take time out commit sin to win
Sometimes I awake feeling on top and up
And the good vibe goes on without a stop
Sometimes I can’t help feeling sloppy
As I try keeping awake from a coffee cup
But Life is Life
It doesn't really matter
Crawl, walk, run or hop
Life itself will never stop

Its Your Life
They say that our love is all wrong
And that we should not carry on
But I say theyre wrong
I want you so bad
Oh weve been together for so long
How could they think we dont belong ?
But theyll never know what you and I have
Call your mama
Call your papa
Call the preacher
Hold on hold on
Call your mama
Call your papa
Go on and call the preacher
Hold on hold on
All I want to do is take it all the way with you
Its your life, its your life
All I want to do is take it all the way with you
Its your life, its your life, its your life
They say that we dont have a chance
Were victims of unjust romance
But they couldnt see the truth in their hands
We dont have to live like they do
Well run away if we have to
And well start a life thats shining and new
Thats shining and new
Call your mama
Call your papa
Go on and call the preacher
Hold on hold on
Call your mama
Call your papa
Call the preacher
Hold on hold on
All I want to do is take it all the way with you
Its your life, its your life, its your life
( repeat til the end )

Get A Grip
I see it on the tv, its playing on my mind,
Everything I see has got something to do with killing my brother.
Just another mind game? or maybe its a sign,
When the child with a gun holds it up to the head of his brother.
Well that aint nice. gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life,
Gotta get a grip cause youre gonna slip, yeah.
Somebody tell me, where did we lose?
Wheres the point that we lost the control to live with each other?
Mister politician, searching for a lie.
Whats the truth? will the youth find the proof for a revolution?
Cause that aint nice, gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life
Gotta get a grip cause youre gonna slip, on ice,
Gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life
Gotta get a grip cause youre gonna slip
Gotta get a hold of the situation, gotta get you into my life,
Gotta get a hold and get it moving.
I cant tell you what you need to know its up to you, oh yeah
That aint nice, gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life
Gotta get a grip, cause youre gonna slip, on ice,
Gotta get a grip, gotta get a hold on life
Gotta get a grip cause youre gonna slip.
Gotta get a hold of the situation, gotta get a hold on life,
Gotta get a grip and get it moving,
I cant tell you what you need to know, its up to you, oh yeah.
Dont your blood run cold, dont the sorrow show,
Hold on tight to what you have.
See it in your eyes, dont it make you cry,
Get a grip and shake the can.
Get a grip, yeah, get a grip, yeah, get a grip, yeah,
Get a grip, get a grip, get a grip, get a grip, get a hold.
Get a grip on life, get a grip on life, get a grip on life,
Yeah get a grip.

In The Air Tonight
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, Hold on
I've been waiting for this moment, all my life, Hold on
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, Hold on, Hold on
Well, if you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
I've seen your face before my friend
But I don't know if you know who I am
Well, I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off the grin, I know where you've been
It's all been a pack of lies
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, Hold on
I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, Hold on
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, Hold on, Hold on
And I've been waiting for this moment all my life, Hold on, Hold on
Well I remember, I remember don't worry
How could I ever forget, it's the first time, the last time we ever met
But I know the reason why you keep your silence up, no you don't fool me
The hurt doesn't show; but the pain still grows
It's no stranger to you or me
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, Hold on...

A Drink
With glass, I am a man – or so I think! –
A role to play when blessed with courtly drink:
A gin or two, then vintage port or wine
To pep me up and gift me with a shine.
I know it’s false, as I now must depend
Upon my daily shots with open end.
Insidious, it all becomes routine
To beg a drink each day for self-esteem.

Calico Skies
It was written that I would love you
From the moment I opened my eyes
And the morning when I first saw you
Gave me life under calico skies.
I will hold you for as long as you like
Ill hold you for the rest of my life
Always looking for ways to love you
Never failing to fight at your side
While the angels of love protect us
From the innermost secrets we hide
Ill hold you for as long as you like
Ill hold you for the rest of my life
Long live all of us were crazy soldiers who
Were born under calico skies
May we never be called to handle
All the weapons of war we despise
Ill hold you for as long as you like
Ill hold you for the rest of my life
Ill hold you for as long as you like
Ill love you for the rest of my...
For the rest of my life

Colors Of Life
See the colors of life
The colors of dreams
The colors of life
Wherever you go
Wherever you may go
Trust in hope, trust in your real friends
Planet colors alive, you hold it in your hands
Realize you have to open your eyes
And Ive learned everything has always two sides
You're not alone
The world is one family
You're not alone
Find your way to be free
You're not alone
Love is the hope to survive
You're not alone
See the colors of life
See the colors of life
See the colors of life
See the colors of dreams
They are wild and free
See the colors around
See the colors around
The colors you have found
See the colors of life
See the colors of life
The colors of dreams
The colors of life
The colors of life
The colors of dreams
The colors of life
There's a land, there's a place in your heart
Tolerance is the key to make a better start
I've been waiting for my lessons of life
And I've learned everything has always two sides

She and Drugs
Freshly spawned,
Brain dumps
Bleeding grey:
Reflections of a mind
That wavers thin
Along the line
That savours pain -
A pond of skin
Devoid of breast -
The pad a feign:
The nothing
Underneath your bra
At best
Is your imagination
Spread across a narcoleptic world
Suchlike survival
In and out
Of haunted woods;
In and out -
You're in and out
As blood transfused -
Pumping on
To ooze at pace
Upon another haemorrhage
And there! a goblin
Here! a goblin
Care to entertain a goblin
In the lair
That is a mind
Of drugs? -
We know it's you -
It's you we know.
We know you're through.
