Trapped in a Cage
I blew out my candles,
And this is what I saw,
I saw a tiny fairy inside a crystal ball.
She told me “do not look back,
Keep going forward, you are on the right track.”
Then I heard a familiar sound, music playing all around,
The singer who was singing sounded like a sage,
She sang these words: “Your love is trapped in a cage,
you have put it on hold, for you are writing fast before old age.
but you have more to write about, soon you will be free without a doubt.”
Then I realized I have heard the voice of the Divine, it has lead me to beware
Wher I have been blind. I still get stuck in the past, the past hurts that not need to last.
I heal the parts of myself to bring me back to being whole, happy to just be, without trying so.

For Mum
Dear mom,
I heard ppl growing old and die
but noone told me you would
Now you'd left me stranded unabide
The familiar privillege i used to adore
The perfect faith i had for life
Has become remorsed in a sigh
I heard times flies so fast and wait for noone
But nobody said i'll be run out of it
Way long back with yr endless sincerity
Yr flawless devotion last longer than yr wedding ring
Yr perfect guidance through my childhood to motherhood
All are worth thousand of fairy stories
I heard sweet memory will bring joy
But noone told me it cost tears of loosing
Never ceased display yr love &passion
The small precious things like friendly chat over dinner
The great support through all moment like waiting up on my first date
carved a colorful tatoo in my heart
I heard there's a time for everything
But nobody told me everything takes time
How the time transformed yr strong will into miracle
The tiny fragile kids you brought up in pain
The mature figure you hold with proud smile
You had strive to give us things that shall not perish, yr loving life
Thank you mom

Radio Adelaide
you'll never see a straight face from me
i've got a problem showing emotion
and sucking up my guts
you'll never get an answer from me
i always keep it stuck in my head
a million words i could have said
you say you're so overwhelmed with me
and it's because of me
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
i'll never show you my frustrations
are left to guarding me to hold it back
i find it hard to just relax
please disriguard my opinion
i try to only care when i'm asked
it helps to get off my chest
you say you're so overwhelmed with grief
and it's because of me
so,
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
the point has been right in front of you, in plain view
the past it does not only repeat
it holds you,
i can't
get you the words you say,out of my head
out of my head
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me
don't you say, you know i heard you said you know
don't you say, you know anything about me

The Echo
I heard my voice come back to me.
The echo of it yearned to be
free to travel and be heard,
free to echo out each word.
I yelled some sounds and patiently
awaited their return to me.
All was fine until I said
words to turn my face quite red.
Racy words that I'd never say,
words that could be called risque.
When they came back it sounded worse
than if I yelled a blatant curse.
Embarrassed to hear my voice repeat,
I closed my mouth and did retreat
away from the place that echoed me,
praying these words would not be free
to travel anywhere.

Crystal Ball
Well, Ive heard it, Ive heard it all
Ive heard it all before
I dont need no gypsy
I dont need no crystal ball
Since you started messin round on me darlin
Now the phones ringing off the wall
And everybody says its so
I got a broken heart comin and they want me to know
And Ive heard it all
I dont need a crystal ball.
I got a lady across the hallway
I got another one way across town
All the people at your birthday party
You should hear the way theyre puttin me down?
It seems the whole worlds out to spy
Its like the cia meets the fbi
And Ive heard it all
I dont need a crystal ball
Well Ive heard it all
I dont need a crystal ball
Well Ive heard it all
It aint no surprise to me
I dont watch no television
I dont read the daily news
Im afraid if I listen to the radio
Ill hear about the latest things you do
I dont want no explanation
Nothin you could say could be a revelation
And Ive heard it all
I dont need a crystal ball.

Love Was A Stranger
Music filled the air as we danced across the floor.
The band played romantic tunes we’d never heard before
The singer sang songs of happiness and love
The large crystal ball twinkled like stars above
Love was a stranger to my open arms
Love was a stranger as we dances across the floor
When the band stopped playing
Love was a stranger no more

Let Me Not Know
[The ode to all my crushes past]
If it were so let me not know
That never did you want me
I'll skip the woe at the chapter's close
And will not let it haunt me
Hold back your words if they are swords
To cut the heart out of me
It may seem absurd that you are lord
Of this but do not doubt me
I'll be content and won't resent
The feelings that wan for me
But don't repent the looks you sent
That told me you adored me
Just walk on past and do not cast
Them anymore towards me
They now won't last but fade on fast
Unless you say you love me

Cry For The Lost
Something I forgot that I used to know
Keeps on coming back around.
Somewhere in the dark right before the dawn
Like a light from down the hall.
Suddenly some old familiar music
Songs I know Ive never heard before.
I gotta play along I cant refuse it
I hear the call.
Weve all been so proud of our blindness
No kindness to share
I used to cry for the lost
Until I had to turn away.
Then I looked inside, past the fool,
And found some deeper words to say
To bring us together.
We can make it better
We can make it right.
We hide behind the veil of our own success,
While were following the rules.
Our eyes refuse to see past our little hands
To the never changing truth.
Freedom needs to speak a little louder,
Justice needs to try her other arm.
Some of us could push a little harder
To sound the alarm.
And I see children marching
And I hear the drums again
I used to cry for the lost
Until I had to turn away.
Then I looked inside, past the fool,
And found some deeper words to say.
If we hope and pray,
It will come, give it half a chance.
Everyone, understand
In our hearts and our mind,
You know theres nothing left to hide,
Were already there.
I used to cry.
Cry for the lost I was walking away.
I used to try to find a reason.
Then I looked inside,
I used to mind everytime I was walking away,
I gotta find what Im feeling
To bring us together.
Repeat chorus

You Never Heard About Me
I had heard nobody singing and I had heard no rock and roll
It was the kind of my upbringing
Thats right
Now maybe you will see
You never heard about me
About me
Well you can write a novel and you can be a rise
You can write me something awful
Thats right
Money back guarantee
You never heard about me
About me
Well I heard your body singing and I heard your rock and roll
And I do not get the meaning
Thats right
Absolutely definately
You never ever heard about me
About me
About me
About me

Thank you as you let him/her Hold Me Tight
As I lay here and here the rain as it is falling
It makes me feel sad cause I know the Lord hears me calling
And I know that He feels my sad and lonesome pain
Sometimes it causing me to want to doubt Him but it not a gain
Even though I sit lonely at night
I wish there was someone here hold me tight
This why I still take my time and write down my journal posts
Because I know that the Lord love so much more than most
He knows that I keep my heart harden and guarded in so many ways
And I also thankful for Him and my friend for bring someone new in my life in the past few days
That wants to listen about my past and how I went through so much pain and agony
It makes me feel so happy and free
That there is finally someone that wants to see
The guarded love trapped inside of me
I can never stop say thanks to the both of you
Because you both have seen everything I went through
It makes me now feel so happy
That I have blessed with special someone that wants to show me honor and dignity
By there to make me feel strong and wanted as He/She Holds Me Tight
This is one reason that I am so happy that I feel that I have my journal with the Lord every night

Spinning
Like a blind spinner in the sun,
I tread my days;
I know that all the threads will run
Appointed ways;
I know each day will bring its task,
And, being blind, no more I ask.
I do not know the use or name
Of that I spin:
I only know that some one came,
And laid within
My hand the thread, and said, 'Since you
Are blind, but one thing you can do.'
Sometimes the threads so rough and fast
And tangled fly,
I know wild storms are sweeping past,
And fear that I
Shall fall; but dare not try to find
A safer place, since I am blind.
I know not why, but I am sure
That tint and place,
In some great fabric to endure
Past time and race,
My threads will have; so from the first,
Though blind, I never felt accurst.
I think, perhaps. this trust has sprung
From one short word
Said over me when I was young,--
So young, I heard
It, knowing not that God's name signed
My brow, and sealed me His, though blind.
But whether this be seal or sign
Within, without,
It matters not. The bond divine
I never doubt.
I know He set me here, and still,
And glad, and blind, I wait His will;
But listen, listen, day by day,
To hear their tread
Who bear the finished web away,
And cut the thread,
And bring God's message in the sun,
'Thou poor blind spinner, work is done.'

I Don't Believe 'You' Wrote This!
I am told I have a way with words.
I am encouraged when I hear that said.
I remember listening to my father talk.
And when he would sing...
He would bring a different meaning,
To each word I heard.
And what his singing to them he would bring.
My mother would play the piano.
Thunderous and loud!
And when I walked through the projects...
I would sing to the trees,
I once walked into one...
Humming to the clouds.
I would make up melodies and tunes with words.
Mocking my dad and my mother's love,
For gospel verse she would rehearse.
I didn't think anything really about words I wrote.
Until my sister read a poem of mine.
And I wanted to choke her by the throat!
YES!
She was the first to read something I wrote out loud.
I was embarrassed by that.
Her nosy grown up butt...
Reading my 'stuff' behind my back!
And then she said to me,
'I don't believe 'you' wrote this! '
I must have been 13 years old...
When I started to make my writing public.
I am told I have a way with words.
I am encouraged when I hear that said.
I remember listening to my father talk.
And when he would sing...
He would bring a different meaning,
To each word I heard.
And what his singing to them he would bring.
Each 'thing' I write now...
Is added to a mixed bag offering!
And reflecting how I'm feeling at the time.
I am grateful for this blessing.
It offers a comfort and a peace of mind!
And when someone says they enjoy what I do...
I must be honest with 'you', the reader!
I-do-too!

The Magic of Sound
I’ve heard the soft whisper of wind in the pine trees,
The silvery ripple of brooklets at play;
I’ve heard the low voice of a sweet singing mother
As she sang to her child at the end of the day.
I’ve heard the faint rustle of sails in the sunset
And blue waves caressing the wild, rockbound shore;
The whistle of trains as they cross the green prairie
And mountains re-echo the cataract’s roar.
The notes of the organs in ancient cathedrals,
Where hearts of the faithful are lifted in song;
I’ve heard the gay laughter as children were playing,
The chatter and buzz of a large, happy throng.
The earth has its music for those who will listen;
Its bright variations forever abound.
With all of the wonders that God has bequeathed us,
There’s nothing that thrills like the magic of sound.

Before This Night Is Through
(cantarelli & a anderson)
Producer for bonnie: jim steinman
I been crazy for you, so long
How could something so right turn out so wrong
Words, never mean what they say
Words just get in the way
Before this night is through
Gonna make you see
How l been blind to you
You been blind to me
Before this night is through were gonna get to the truth
Before this night is through
Gonna heal the pain
Before this night is through
Youll be back again
No matter what we do I know well be all right
Before this night is through
Hearts broken in pieces no time to mend
Without loving they fall apart in the end
Fools, never admit theyre wrong
They live their lives alone
Before this night is through
Girl were gonna see how I belong to you
You belong to me
Before this night is through were gonna get to the truth
Before this night is through
Well get past the pain
Before this night is through
Youll be back again
No matter what we do I know well be ll right
Before this night is through
Come inside close the door come to me now
Well find our way we know how
Let the past be the past let it all fall away
Baby I know we told lies and to lie is a sin
Well get to the truth we will simply begin
Instrumental.before this night is through were gonna get to the truth
Before this night is through
Well get past the pain
Before this night is through
Youll come back again
No matter what we do I know well be all right
Before this night, before this night is through

His Call
That evening
I sat down to write
My very last mail
To him.
And while I was writing
I could feel
My aching heart
Throbbing so loud
I could hear
Every beat of it
Pulsating with pain.
And still I kept writing
My very last mail
To him.
Though my eyes
Felt blurred
With all the tears
That rushed asunder
Streaming through my cheeks
And yet I brushed them aside
And wrote
My very last mail to him.
And when I had done
All the writing
I took a long, last look
At that letter of mine
Re-reading every word of it
That I had written to him
With all my heart...
Those precious moments
Were so endearing to me
For I felt that
Once this mail goes
I won't be able to
Write to him anymore
No more of those
Diary mails of mine
I used to write to him
Everyday.
For I had made a Promise
Never to go back
To him.
And that promise I had made
To him and to myself
With all the pain
And the agony
That had shrouded me.
Yes - that promise has stayed Intact
And I would abide by it.
And I haven't faltered...
Though my tender heart feels
So very Bruised.
And even though
The other day
He called me up
And I heard
His broken voice
Over the phone
Saying that
He had read my mail
Explaining himself
How he was...
How very dear to him
I have been
How very close
To his heart.
I just listened
And yet his garble of words
Were beyond me now
And more than his voice
His words of care
I could hear -
The waves of silence
That had engulfed me.
He did all the talking
And I -
All the listening...
And yet,
Today - when I look back
I don't feel like going back
To him anymore.
And I know he might call again
Asking me if I am cross.
In life's such delicate
Situations -
Being angry doesn't help
So why should I be?
It is just that
I don't feel like
Writing to him anymore
The pain is just too much
And so are the scars of the past
Like scabs on the skin
Bleeding every now and then.
And so that was my last mail
My very last mail to him
And his call for a truce
I had to choose...
Truce with him
Or truce with my silence.
And I looked back
At all the hard times
He had given me -
All the pain of the past years
That kept reverberating inside
Like the Tinnitus of being Deaf.
And I thought
I would call it a truce
A truce of realisation
A truce of acceptance
No - not with him.
But - A Lifetime's Truce
With me and my Destiny.

The Chronicles of a Dark Heart Part 20 To Start Again
Here we are
once again stuck in the tar
suppressing feelings, fighting myself, and yelling rar rawr RAWR
now i have to get over her
and not be tempted by her allure
I have to destroy feelings of love
cage myself in my prison like a trapped dove
only this time i won't fly
this time i wait until i move on or die
i will put myself back in that cage
this time not building up rage
not gonna turn the page
gonna stay
in conundrum, imbroglio and debacle alike all so fey...
i start this chronicle yet again
as i'm locked in my emotional pen
back to square one nay square negative one
back to where we started, the battle far from won
even back tracked a little and lost some ground
i may not be found
alive though i hope so
brace
yourself
as i write again and write in hast and run my race
(i am free from this)

Singing Bird, I was!
Bird, singing Bird, I am!
Got trapped myself,
lured by desires and
Effects of my own karma!
I found myself in cage,
Made by my own fate,
who become my master!
But when I started singing,
Praise of my lord, not caring my master,
Softer and softer became
my master's heart!
I started singing for the one who placed me here,
Slowly wiping my eyes,
With my own wings,
singing melodious songs
I was amusing my heart,
And singing became my integral part!
I sang because I saw smile on lips of both,
My master as well as my Lord,
And I sang because it pleaseth all!
Nought I couldn't do more,
Eat, sleep then awake,
Pat my back with my own wings then sit and sing!
I was trying to find way out,
Dashed against nuts and bolts of the Cage,
And broke my wings and legs!
My pain was doubled,
soar multiplied as I tried more and more to get myself free!
Master was laughing at me but he had sympathy,
He took me out and cleansed my wounds with his divine power and told me to cool down and wait and sing than try something great
and great will be the pain,
if act impatient!
I sang to Lord, O! Lord,
Thou hast ears to hear
this painful song!
Come on and free me!
I slept exhausted of weeping Lord came in dream and said,
'Child look, bother not of wing that are mortal,
Look into heart, heart has wings that never fail
Wings that are ever strong,
Even heart can sing when it fly, and even it can fly where air is not, fairies that land!
They call it heaven!
Woke up and saw my cage!
Cage that allow me not,
never it allowed me to fly!
I sat like meditating on God!
Then my mind absorbed in lord,
Body was stiff like a corpse,
Seeing that master opened the cage,
Lord appeared and said,
My child it is now or never!
Suddenly I got out and flew to my Lord, where my master, Karma and his cage have no entry!
I sang to Lord, 'O Lord, I praise you thee,
Thy will be my will!
Thy wish be my wish!
thy mighty will is done,
That saved me, thy love and
Thy mercy showed the path
Thee, is my only savior!
thy merciful hands lifted me! '

Writing To
Writing to feel
Writing to heal
Writing to steal
Writing every emotion..
With such a white background.
It makes no sound
Even as the keys I pound.
Let my words have bite
Let from my words drip out meanings beyond meanings
Its something I try to be constantly be achieving.
Writing to feel
Writing to heal
Writing to steal
I want every heart and mind
Sucked in cause this is my world stage
No sense of the time.
Never to turn the page
Stuck in to a world oh so oh so fine
Writing to feel
Writing to heal
Writing to steal
Listen to her melody, as she sings.
Let chaos reign down from the skies
What will this day really bring?
Will the letter say good bye?
Will it mend everything?
Making everything better.
Destroying all the consequences
That exist in your world.
Welcome to the place I visit daily.
Inspirational maddness,
It attacks, attacks, and attacks.
With perfect sadness
I must let go once more.
And then the words hit the floor
Writing to feel
Writing to heal.
Writing to steal.
Becoming one with my soul.
Fighting for its one and only control.
Its mine, Its mine. Its mine.
In this reality it subsequently is not
A constant questioning of what?
Writing to feel
Writing to heal.
Writing to steal.
With every sound, taste, and light.
The worlds get get oh so oh so bright
Understand that which is not so forthright
This is my night, and day.
So come on join me, please this way.

Love, Music, and Dancing
I can't describe this feeling
So I really don't know why I'm writing about it
But I have to put it down on paper
To hold it and keep it safe
Just in case I forget and need to remind myself
I know you might be thinking about love
And love is glorious, don't get me wrong
But love's so overdone
I wouldn't need to write it myself to remind myself
I need to write about how music feels
And how, when you hear a great classic
Or even something you've never even heard before
You have to stop and listen
And do you know what?
Now that I think about it
It does feel like love
But it's still different
For a second
You're IN the music
And you can't catch your breath
And it feels like you know everything
Just for a second
And then, it makes you dance
So I guess I'm writing about that, too
Because to me love feels the same as music
And they both feel like dancing
Love, and music, and dancing
That's what it feels like
Spinning and leaping
Singing terribly
And yelling ''I YOU''
At the top of my lungs
Because in that second
I love everyone
And everything
And it all feels like
Love
Music
And dancing
And I guess I can write about it, too

Time Will Heal
I know you want to get into my mind
But Im not gonna let you in
Until Ive had the time to begin to know you better
I know you want to get into my heart
But Im not gonna let you in
Til youve given me the time to heal a wound still bleeding
If you want a love thatll last
Youre moving much to fast
You gotta take your time, take it day by day
Time will heal me
Time will heal me
And babe take your time
Time will heal
I know you want to get into my mind
To wash away the hurt and sorrow
To let me know thaht you are the answer to my question
The problem is that love is often blind
It fools you into thinking youre happy
Then suddenly the mask falls away and leaves you weeping
If you are the promised land
Ive yet to understand
And while theres room for doubt we take it
Day by day
Time will heal me
Time will heal me
Babe heal me
And babe take your time
With you near me
Time will heal me
Time will heal me
I cant say the words you want to hear
But maybe given time
Time will heal
The pain I feel inside
Time will heal
The hurting and the pride
Time will heal
Ill open up my heart to you
Time will heal
Ill find the words to say to you
Time will heal
The world will see the change in me
Time will heal
