Grandma's House
Butterfly, butterfly flying through the air,
flittering here and flittering there.
Landing on a flower just ahead,
your wings glow on a flower bed.
I imagine my grandma's flowers with color,
each one is unique, not like the other.
It was in the spring with fragrance everywhere,
it was happy times without a care.
In backyard I did climb a tree,
hurt my hand with a twig, I did scream.
Rushed to the doctors really fast,
they put stitches in, they didn't last.
Found memories of bread baking in air,
a special time I did share.
with Grandmother who is special and sweet,
she made all kinds of goodies and treats.
Like marsh mellows with fruit and whip topping too,
I liked eating it after my dinner was through.
Memories of the farm I will remember,
like Christmas time in December.

Angel my Niece
Baptized in church in Minneapolis,
it was a special day I would not miss.
I have a photo of you and me,
we both were smiling happily.
Then when your first Christmas came,
I got to see you once again.
First Christmas for baby Angel my niece,
It was happy and filled with peace.
Then of course I would only see you sparingly.
I have pictures of your volleyball game,
you are a teenager now you don't look the same.
I also have photos of you and with Allisa at your grandma's,
You are very happy just because.
Because you are a sweet and caring girl,
You are precious to the world.
I'm glad I saw you graduate,
It was a glorious and memorable day.
Happy Birthday I also wanted to say,
I hope you received your card I sent your way.

My Affair With Prince Charming
Prince Charming always makes me feel right,
he tucks me in at bed at night.
I was sick and needed some sleep,
he turned off the light and didn’t make a peep.
He then proceeded to watch t.v.
He watched the football game,
he was quiet and didn’t complain.
I awoke and to my surprise,
he had flowers for me that where enormous in size.
I couldn’t figure out where he had gone,
it was so magical I felt like a Princess on a throne.
These are some of the memories we share,
he is so special and does really care.

Tree Climbing
When I was 6 years of age,
I would go tree climbing all through the day.
My older brother would say to his friends,
“My sister Suzy can climb highest, you want to bet? ”
I would then look up at the tallest tree,
I knew I could make it without falling on my knee.
Yes, I would go straight to the top,
the top of the highest tree and then I’ld stop,
I would look down to see the world,
I was the happiest little girl.
All the trees where close together,
I felt like a bird with a lot of feathers.
I had made it to where the birds do roam,
I was at the top of the tower at my throne.
This reminds me of “Rising of the Planet of the Apes,
When Cornelius was happy to escape.
Climbing the tallest tree,
watching him brought back memories.
Memories of my tree climbing days,
I will always remember it in a special kind of way.

Emma Jean’s Free
Emma Jean is flying free,
flying over the fields of green,
For when she was on this plane,
she had to walk with a cane.
Now she’s free as free as can be,
with her beautiful colored wings.
Flying up through the trees,
She can see everything.
From colors bright to bold,
like pink, orange and gold.
Being a butterfly in the sky
she is so happy again in time.

Birds Live Peacefully
Birds, birds everywhere
flying through the sky without a care.
Reminding us how graceful life can be
as they fly from tree to tree.
Singing so very happily.
Singing songs of love and light
flying gracefully with delight.
Landing on their claws outstretched
landing in their straw filled nests.
Feeding their offspring worms from dirt
protecting them so they don't get hurt.
Pushing them to leave the nest
so they can fly like all the rest.
Flying high and flying low
they will be like their parents on the go.

Multicolored Butterfly
There was a multicolored butterfly flying in the air
A multicolored butterfly- who did not have a care.
Going from flower to flower for all the world to see
The beauties of nature made for you and me.
People stopping and talking and gazing upon its wings
This is one of the wonders GOD gave us.
And such a beautiful thing.
This multicolored butterfly flew around my head
I knew if I grabbed it- then soon it would be dead.
They have a life expectancy of seventy two hours you see
And that is the reason it has to be free.
They have a place called butterfly world
In a town called coconut creek
I knew I had to go there
I had to take a peek.
They had butterflies from all over the world
And a quick class to show, all the boys and girls.
There is so much about butterflies that I didn’t know
They can see colors of red, yellow, and green
But nothing in between.
They sip nectars from flowers through their tongues
And smell through their antennae, and taste with
Their feet, and breathe through the sides of their bodies
That in itself is a learning treat.
So to this butterfly that’s flying around my head
I salute and praise your beauty till the moment
That you’re dead.
I will mourn for you for the short time that you lived.
Because in that time, you had so much to give.

Sarah Is Princess For A Day
Sarah would be Birthday princess for a day
she would have her "Special Krendoll Island Birthday"
even her stuff toys would join in on the fun-
a birthday party celebration had just begun.
Jewels galore would be on her dress
she would blow out the cake
that never made a mess.
For it was a cake that had an electrical switch
Sarah would light up her birthday candle by
going click, click, click.
Now I have photos of her Princess Days…
Sarah all happy when at a very young age.
May the memories of Krendoll island
have a Special place in Sarah's heart—
Melodie doll and UniCandle unicorn
are never far apart…
They are a part of the childhood days gone past
they are happy memories that are sure to last.

Butterfly...
Butterfly...my all..my own, Butterfly
My butterfly, I remember the
day we met. You bumped into me.
Well, sort of floated, from no where,
and from that moment, I recall what
I said, 'Well, my little butterfly,
where did you come from.?
Butterfly, you laughed, and responded,
'I picked you out, and just floated down,
and landed on your shoulder.
Butterfly, there are many that think
that a Butterfly, can't laugh, but you did.
They think that a Butterfly, does not cry,
but you have.
Can a Butterfly be happy, cause happiness?
Butterfly, of mine...you did.
Can a Butterfly, caused one to nearly burst
with joy? Butterfly, you did and you have.
Butterfly, there is not a moment, since I
met you, that I can not recall.
Some might wonder what a butterfly, drinks.
Butterfly, shall we let them know, we became
intoxicated, as we sipped the nectar of life.
As my butterfly and I floated through the
wonders of earth, I wish we could share the
joy we found, with all of this planet.
Butterfly, shall we always be together?
Butterfly, I do not mean, just here on
earth, I mean until the stars stop shinning.
Butterfly, I mean, until there is no moon...
no anything, but my Butterfly and I.
Butterfly...I think that we will. Butterfly,
I believe that we were meant to be.
On Wing and Wind...
My butterfly, I remember the
day we met. You bumped into me.
Well, sort of floated, from no where,

Grandma Kay's 95th Birthday
Grandma Kay just turned ninety five,
on her birthday in 2009.
In her nursing home her family was there,
Watching her blew out birthday candle without a care.
She was the star of her birthday show,
She blew out a candle that sparkled and glowed.
Friends and family sang along,
to her personalized birthday song.
Her son Russ played the guitar,
this was her best birthday by far.
She unwrapped presents from family and friends,
she was very happy like a child again.
Photo memories are snapped in time,
To remember Kay's 95th Birthday that shined.

Memories
Memories of good times
Memories of bad times
Memories of our love
So many memories
Memories of us crying
Memories of us laughing
Memories of our commitment
So many memories
Memories of us hugging
Memories of us kissing
Memories of those late nights
So many memories
Memories of how we met
Memories of how you left
Memories of what you said
So many memories
Why did you leave me
with so many memories
Did you ever realize
that my memories are yours
Everything we did together
stays within our memories
I remember getting hurt
Do you hurt too
Let's make a new memory
that we can both share
Let's love again
in our memories

Vito And Rocco
Two little white Pugs that are brothers,
hard to tell them apart from each other.
Only Vito is the one that is friendly and plays,
Rocco is reserved and stands by at bay.
Vita Dominica was Geraldine’s mother’s name,
Geraldine told me her name means “Life of Sundays”
So Vito was named after Vita you see,
and Rocco was named after the father of Geraldine.
One of the dogs, I don’t know who,
can say “I Love You”
Yes, these 2 pugs get along quite well,
they are quite happy walking together with no bells.
They are full of energy and never run out of steam,
they know how to be good for their “special treat”.

Butterfly Thoughts
As fragile as a butterfly wing
as swiftly blown away
my memories take flight at times,
sail to some distant bay
Yet, now and then they gently light
within my wooly head
and with a powdered fluttering
they bring me peace, instead
Sweet memories bring only joy
Sad one bring only pain
My butterfly thoughts
don't tie me in knots,
they're here..then they're gone again.
So if my mind seems far away,
while yours is focused on me
don't make it a moment that spoils your whole day
let go..set your butterflies free
For I remember Love
and it may feed and fuel my soul.
I feel it in a smiling face,
a caring word, a warm embrace;
a hand in mine, showing me the way,
these are the memories of each new day.
And even if that memory
should simply flutter by..
I'll catch it..maybe..later,
when it comes by Butterfly.
Love has many faces
Love is many things
It may flutter by...on a Butterfly
or come on Fairy wings

A Humming-Bird And A Butterfly
Once upon a time...
On a lovely spring afternoon
a butterfly was flying in the garden
She landed on a flower,
And left its nectar.
A humming bird
was attracted by its smell
and fed itself with it.
In all the afternoons of that sping,
the butterfly flew,
Spreading her wings between the flowers
Leaving its nectar on them.
The humming-bird was enchanted,
And he drank it in all the flowers,
Because he fell in love with her.

The Little Cycle Of The Flower And The Caterpillar
the flower may curse
the caterpillar at first glance
consuming its leaves
greedily
rushing for the next stage
of its life
then the silence of the cocoon
where the flower
doubts
and then the excitement
of the birth
of the yellow butterfly
the hope of the flower
and when
the flying begins
the flower unfolds
blooms
and the consortium begins
the nectar flows
and the flower
turns into another fruit
back
to its seed form
as the butterfly
nears its span
like a glimpse

Childhood Memories
Rays of light flow through the glass,
Flittering memories of the past.
Of happy times and playful things,
like a baby bird spreading its wings.
Flying through the sunlit air,
without worries without cares.
Its simple nature so soft and calm,
Beckons everyone like a charm.
A little fox running through the trees,
fields of flowers and their bees.
So close to heart and yet so far,
A child's life is like a shining star.
Happiness to a Child
Happiness to a Child
Any happiness I brought to a child,
it was well worth it, all the while.
To see them smile for a mile.
For bringing happiness to a child
is the memories that last,
Last through time to make a happy past.
For they are only a child for a time,
I was happy I was there to bring them smiles.
