The Disdain
Bygone beleaguered and upcoming vague
it's NOW that must sustain
Intolerable may the affliction be,
but borne the ephemeral pain
Nothing is enduring and must logically lapse,
to start all over again
Consistency is the only hallmark
one fervently needs to attain
A step in front of another,
on the long trudge one has to maintain
To witness the proverbial sunshine
following bucketfuls of rain

From sunshine till it rains
Don't know if i stand a chance to be with u again..
To be by your side & see the sunshine & the rain.
I've got addictd so much, now i hardly care for pain..
Hoping we'll be there, to see d sunshine & d rain.
Those who can feel love, have so much there to lose..
Those who can't, have so much there to choose.
I'm so hollow inside that i can't raise my hands..
The hands that held u once, to show the sunshine & the rain.
And the day when God will grant a change..
know that i would choose to be the same.
I do wana see u once again,
With the start of the sunshine, till the end of the rain.

Nuthin' That It's Not
Your aim to gain a pain to sustain...
Just to maintain an agony to go through,
Is on 'you'.
Your claim to fame is to claim no pain.
When the strain of it is showing..
And I see and know your in some pain.
Why do you keep it to yourself?
You don't have to try to prove a thing to me.
I'll think more of you not less.
Unless there's something you don't wish to address.
Like doing something you know will create more mess.
Your aim to gain a pain to sustain...
Just to maintain,
An agony to go through is on 'you'.
And if it's that bad you've got to hide it...
You've got that to explain.
And 'my' pain coming too!
So you gotta get up off sumthin'.
To let whatever that it is get much better.
You gotta get up off sumthin'.
Or the nuthin' that it's not...
Gonna cause some uncomfortable heat!
So you gotta get up off sumthin'.
To let whatever that it is get much better.
You gotta get up off sumthin'.
Or the nuthin' that it's not...
Gonna cause some uncomfortable heat!
Your aim to gain a pain to sustain...
Just to maintain an agony to go through,
Is on 'you'.
Or the nuthin' that it's not...
Gonna cause some uncomfortable heat!

Waterfront
Get in, get out of the rain
Im goin to move on up to the waterfront
Step in, step out of the rain
Im goin to walk on up to the waterfront
Said, one million years from today
Im goin to step on up to the waterfront
Get in, get out of the rain
Come in, come out of the rain
So far, so good, so close, yet still so far
So far, so good, so close, yet still so
So far, so far, so far
The rain, Im going to move on up to the waterfront
Step in, step out of the rain
Im going to walk on up to the waterfront
Said, one million years from today
Step on up to the waterfront
Said, come in, come out of the rain
Said, come in, come out of the rain
Said, come in, come out of the rain
Im goin to move on up to the front
Im goin to walk on up to the front
Im goin to live on up by the front
Im goin to walk on up to the front
Come in, come out of the rain
Come in, come out of the rain
Said, come in, come out of the rain
Come in, come out of the rain
Move on up, to step on up
Walk on up, live on up
Far away, far away, far away
So, walk away, so far, I walk away
So, so, walk away, up to the waterfront
Up to the waterfront
So far, so far

Wash
Never meant to waste your time
never meant to fall out of line
I was trying to get closer to you
Now it seems with every step
feels like I'm losing my breath
I don't know what else I can do
but you wash over me
you wash over me like rain
and you wash over me
you wash over me like sunshine
I never had to choose
living a life with you
or chasing lies only half true
when our love would be
a world alone with you and me
than hiding behind these walls
when you wash over me
you wash over me like rain
and you wash over me
you wash over me like sunshine
and you wash over me
you wash over me like rain
and you fall over me
you crawl over me
like sunshine
like sunshine
Everything in the world was falling through
all I knew was it led to you
my sunshine
all my life never found my place
until I felt the sunlight on my face
my sunshine
Never meant to waste your time
never meant to fall out of line
I was trying to get closer to you
Now it seems with every step
feels like I'm losing my breath
I don't know what else I can do
but you wash over me
you wash over me like rain
and you wash over me
you wash over me like sunshine
and you wash over me
you wash over me like rain
and you fall into me
you crawl into me
like sunshine
like sunshine
like sunshine
like sunshine

Trailing War
In search of peace
the free hand was inflicting casualities.
The kids were buried like insects in a rubble.
Step by step in speculation
the streets were livid with rustic murals
of splintered blood on walls.
The foxgloves had lobbed rockets
on tall heads. Beleaguered
eyes nailed to fire.
I am watching you my art,
to witness the agony of man.
Burn, burn my cupped hands with snatched words.

A Little Bit Of Sunshine
A little bit of sunshine every day,
Helps to keep the rain clouds far away.
A little bit of sunshine, for your soul,
Helps you to weather even bitter cold.
A little bit of sunshine in your week,
Helps pull you out of bed, when you are sick.
A little bit of sunshine on your brain,
Helps get out all bad feelings, and mental strain.
A little bit of sunshine in your life,
Helps you to deal, with all your stress and strife.
A little bit of sunshine at the start,
Can even help to heal a broken heart.

Enduring The Storms of Life
A petal falls from a
flower
quietly to the ground
a tree limb dries up
breaks off, falls away
enduring the storms
of life..
Ships sail off to sea
enduring many storms
along the way fights
to maintain
returning to port,
enduring the storms
of life...

Rewind
Sitting all by myself
with subsistence on a momentary hold
Could feel the bygone brush past
and start itself to unfold
The life seemed full of fantasy,
a surrealistic make believe
Naivety fuelled convictions
which improbable were to achieve
How quickly all slips by,
near the end of the one's arduous trudge
Past blames are viewed differently
and own follies we fairly adjudge

Let It Rain.
Let it rain. Let it rain,
someone please, stop the pain
my body is frail, my energy's drained.
Thinking about you. Really hurts my brain.
Just please stop the pain.
Let it rain, let it rain.
You know and I know
I was yours from the start
it felt like nothing
could tear us apart
but you just reached In
and tore out my heart
from that moment onwards,
my world fell apart.
I need you
I want you
you know its all true
I miss you
I love you
this poem's just for you
so let it rain, let it rain
I dont want this pain
in the middle of the carpet
is a massive red stain
by making me hurt,
what have you got to gain?
Just please stop the pain.
Let it rain, let it rain

Since Yesterday
I am sleeping with the proverbial flying carpet of love,
And i am drinking the proverbial fire balls from heaven;
But life has come a very long way to me,
And i have been thinking of you since yesterday.
I am eating from the proverbial iron horse of fame,
And like two wave loaves of bread baked with salt;
But i am now like a forgotten sheaf from a field.
Love is just like that at times and,
I have to get this water away from my side;
And to reap the harvest with an ox and a donkey!
The odds have taken m eso long on this love and,
I want to keep this vision going all the time;
But like the owner and his son who required a test,
For i have been thinking of you since yesterday.

My Canadian Chronicles 27
The weatherman forecasted
threatening storms and rain
for the beginning of the week,
but all we’ve had is sunshine
and a brief shower last night,
but today looks like another fine day.
Sadly, as the days slip away
we will soon have to leave to go home.
We will go with bucketfuls of memories
to last for many years to come.
Like pop stars with their greatest hits,
we have our holidays characterised like that.
This one reached the top of the charts
as our best by far
with great company and weather.
Who could ask for anything more?
You couldn’t.
This has been the greatest holiday by far.

The next sunshine.
Sunshine.
I had found the key to live longer, and that is to live every step of this life very careful, because it can be your last.
I was thinking that whenever I got to heaven (if I go!) they going to be so jealous that I found happiness in my life, I mean I would not complain that my life was not good but I was not able to see a new sunshine on it.
Hey! They say that when it rain and pours we can’t see the beautiful sunshine of the morning light, welcoming us to a new day, I’m here saying good bye to you my good friend, so long and I wish that you can find peace at last.
So I know you and most of the people who I love will be waiting for me, so we all together can see the next sunshine.

Casual pain
There’s this one pain, a pain
That only the vulnerable would sustain
A simple, yet devastating pain
A common, yet overwhelming pain
A physical pain, such as a sandy beach with a missing grain
A visual pain, such as wishing for light but only seeing rain
That one stain, released from the vein
That one pain, ceased hanging over the window pane

Desert Sand
You tell me theres no darkness
While the sun shines down on you
And just because your life is peaceful
Theres no fighting left to do
For every cup that runneth over
Many more are filled with pain
You talk to me of sunshine
When its pouring down with rain
Just because you cant see it
Doesnt mean it isnt there
Just because it cant touch you
Doesnt mean you shouldnt care
For every life thats lit with love
Many more are racked with pain
You talk to me of sunshine
When its pouring down with rain
(chorus)
Its a long black night, good people
Descended on our land
Share your light
Make a flower grow
In the desert sand

All Her Days
All her days are softly going by
With some dreams to be forgotten
Like clouds that are always in the sky
Only to drift away and be forgotten
Sunshine and rain each day sunshine and rain
Life is sometimes a dream rising high
With every opportunity coming to be
Or some loneliness that cannot die
Only to become an inside part you and me
Sunshine and rain each day sunshine and rain
There are dreams that cannot be hidden away
In the mirrors of glasses that make a day
Every love song
is rising in high
With the times
that come with new spring
And its hopes
with the dreams still lie
Bringing worth
to recollections of old gone thing
Sunshine and rain each day sunshine and rain
*(Thanks go to the late John Denver, for his song ‘Fly Away’, for without, this could not have happened) .

I Believe
Is it too late to go in peace, I wonder how
How these things did start anyway
Maybe too late to find a way, when the
Trail of grief is marked with memories
Now when youre gone, the warmth
Of the sun seems so faraway
I believe - in everything I see, every
Second is a miracle for me
I believe - after sunshine comes the
Rain, and when its pouring down
The only thing I feel is pain
I walk alone through shapeless dreams
My only home is the wasteland that I cross
I close the door and turn the key
Those days of joy are barely memories
Now when youre gone, your star will
Shine on, wont you shine for me
I believe- in everything I see, every
Second is a miracle for me
I believe- after sunshine comes the
Rain, and when its pouring down
The only thing I feel is pain

Apercu
The mist of time is still concealing
The vision that I seek
Those who died have all borne witness
If only they would speak
Yet I saw it all inside me, for a moment
Were you with me?
Have we done it all before, is there really so much more?
Now and then we've all been given
A glimpse of bygone days
I'd give all to see it clearly
Not shrouded in the haze
Yet I saw it all inside me, for a moment
Were you with me?
Have we done it all before, is there really so much more?
Each man has a memory
Much more than the eye can see
Yet still others linger deep inside you
Haunting thoughts of pain and joy divide you
Look beyond your eyes
At the dark and moody skies
For they're standing in your way
And I feel the light of day
Now the earth gives forth its secrets
Held in mountain sea and plain
They have never been forgotten
Only locked inside my brain
While I slept I had a vision, I remember
You were with me
We have done it all before, in our minds behind the door

Character
Hard to develop.
Difficult to maintain.
Consistency is need of hour.
Stability is the soul.
Defining good virtues.
Exhale all your evil.
Inhale all virtues.
Hard to develop all virtues.
Win over your weakness
Keep some distance from evil
Refresh mind and heart.
Maintain your level of thought.
Stand on your thought.
Follow them as dream wish.
Difficult time is not a permanent feature.
Consistency will be standard.
Inner voice play major role.
Good or evil are only medium.
Choice is always doorstep of heart and mind.
This is all stand for character.

Cured
and so the words
which he swallowed for years
and years
those that he chewed so well
turning liquid mixed with his blood
and spread in all his veins
and he was cured
and there is
no need
about what must be said
or should have been said
consummated the last sunshine
comes and
destruction of the illusions
have become inevitable
gone is gone
and bygone is bygone
