Coagulated Emotions
Introspecting inner recesses
something seems amiss
Try as much disregarding
but one simply can't dismiss
Ravages of the past have
bequeathed, a perplexing stance
Unable I am to decipher
the uninvited current circumstance
As much I try suppurating vocally
but it gets stifled in the craw
Quip now is extricated from
my feeble attempts at a guffaw
Petty inconsequential traits of yore
have mutated to stringency thence
Compromises where are unacceptable
with no perching on the fence

Fundamental of Liar Chapter CX: Ability
It’s not unable, it’s just not a favor
It’s not unable, it’s just reluctance
It’s not unable, it’s just not my style
It’s not unable, it’s just wrong
It’s not unable, it’s just no time
It’s not unable, it’s just out of place
It’s not unable, it’s just not consideration
It’s not unable, it’s just objection
It’s not unable, it’s just not effective
It’s not unable, it’s just stubbornness
It’s not unable, it’s just not important
It’s not unable, it’s just mercy

The Clown And Dracula....
welcome both
the black and white birds
often they come
uninvited perching upon
a tree that
fronts your house
meanwhile the stairs
that lead to the road
to the city waits for the
sounds of your
footsteps....

Anybody who accepts mediocrity - in school, on the job, in life - is a person who compromises, and when the leader compromises, the whole organization compromises.

Dreams within Dreams
End when one thinks is nearing
there's yet another side
Time plays the catalyst
for the circumstances to coincide
With clouded the rationale,
the sense good is often bemused
Instinct becomes one's medium
and fresh spirit gets infused
All attempts when prove futile,
in craw gets stifled the scream
Submit one must to stupor
to find a dream within a dream
Odds must be contended
own strengths gauged to assess
Discover then the improbable
and on uncharted paths progress
Visions of soothing fantasies
help pull out of a dreary disdain
Fleeting those joyous indulgences
teach one to subsist again

Our Meeting Is No Accident
Please do not dismiss me.
Or the approach,
I have chosen to get closer.
I am not professional at this.
But I could not simply sit...
And watch what I could not resist,
Up and go away!
Not if I can delay its parting.
Please do not dismiss me.
There is something about us,
Too familiar to ignore.
Your eyes and walk...
And patterns of speech.
When I hear you talk...
It feels as if I have known this before.
And when you speak,
It soothes.
With a calmness that attracts!
Please do not dismiss me.
My wishes for someone like you...
Recognizes what you have,
And I'm wanting more of that!
To achieve a happiness...
I know that would make us,
Joyfully glad!
Please do not dismiss me.
At least...
Let us spend a moment,
To allow you to discover me.
We belong together!
'Why' and 'how' that is,
Who knows?
But our meeting is no accident.
And I know that for a fact,
Indeed.
This has happened purposely.
Please do not dismiss me.
Look into my eyes.
Can't you feel something inside of you...
That announces a 'connection' between us,
Has come to stay and has finally arrived?

Uninvited
Like anyone would be
I am flattered by your fascination with me
Like any hot blooded woman
I have simply wanted an object to crave
But you're not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight
Must be strangely exciting
To watch the stoic squirm
Must be somewhat heartening
To watch shepard meet shepard
But you're not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight
Like any uncharted territory
I must seem greatly intriguing
You speak of my love like
You have experienced like mine before
But this is not allowed
You're uninvited
An unfortunate slight
I don't think you unworthy
I need a moment to deliberate

The Moth and The Mirror
We have the mirror, which shows unseen traits of beings.
Even the trait of the greedy moth,
Who attempts to teach absurd meanings.
The strong and reflective mirror, uncovers this self-proclaimed prophet.
Teaching of false and foolish things,
His only focus is to taste of the gold-rimmed goblet.
So the next time you gaze into a mirror,
Your unseen traits may become clearer.

Avoidance of what 'Is
An avoidance of what 'is'...
Does not make what 'is',
Disappear to go away.
A determined wish to understand,
A what 'is' that exist...
Increases one's awareness.
And an appreciation for an is that 'is',
One learns to accept not to quickly dismiss.
With a customary disregarding of its differences.

Sometimes the reader will decide something else than the author's intent; this is certainly true of attempts to empirically decipher reality.

The Standpoint
My actions are the reactions
of the measures you dispense
The response is in fashion mirroring
and reflected truly thence
It's very easy to be judgmental
and arguably simply censure
When your standing is questionable
with logic weirdly obscure
The past were so much simpler
had unabated frolicking abound
The ravages of the time took their toll
all lost was never to be found

Unable To Suppress
Unable to suppress
my dreams while she'd undress,
nor easily dismiss
the memory of her kiss,
forget
her wet,
wild passionate embrace,
when I recall her face,
I put them in a poem
so other men may know them.
The lines 'nor easily dismiss/ the memory of her kiss, ' are Ira Gershwin's words to music of George.

Such Portraits From the Past
Is there a relevance in attempts made...
To restore a past,
When an innocence was more restricting?
And the slow pacing done in those days,
Seem to last as long as those gaslights burning.
Or the wax that dripped from candlesticks.
It is difficult to face current times...
That seem less romanticized,
Than those of cobbled stoned streets.
Upon which people mingled,
With a sharing of their simple visions.
In nights then to seem never ending.
Is there a relevance in attempts made...
To restore a past,
When an innocence was more restricting?
And the slow pacing done in those days,
Seem to last as long as those gaslights burning.
Or the wax that dripped from candlesticks,
Thick with wicks homemade.
Is there a relevance to any of this today?
And why some try to glorify such portraits from the past?
Didn't many complained about them when they lived back then?
But today there seems such a renewed interest.
With a wish for those values.
And a quality of life reminiscing embellished victories.

Revolving (Nafaka)
There's a reason for joy
consider the circumstance of life
there's a reason to remember
the circumstance of life
there's a reason to understand
the circumstance of life
revolvong revolving
in the shade of reasonong
the circumstance of life
a bitter taste of captivity
consider the circumstance of life
the breath widens the freedom
consider the circumstance of life
the feet can move the hands can touch
finally
consider the circumstance of life
revolving revolving
in the shade of feelings
the circumstance of life
pulling the trees
down the roads of darkness
killing the pain
in the shade of a cage
revolving revolving revolving

The Current
These fish have no eyes
these silver fish that come to me in dreams,
scattering their roe and milt
in the pockets of my brain.
But there's one that comes-
heavy, scarred, silent like the rest,
that simply holds against the current,
closing its dark mouth against
the current, closing and opening
as it holds to the current.

A Discernment
once it was the clarity that i sought
and there was none and all i had is doubt
once i was sure of myself
and believed it to be so such stuff that is stiff
until i became a river of stool
and everything in there is foul
and i slept and i wake up and i thought
about what are those that landed in my spout
perhaps clarity is not what must be sought
neither doubt
for who wants doubt to rule our lives
as though we do not live in a world of lies
upon some layers of
historical rocks and socks?
and then i simply look around me
simply describing what comes and what passes on a day
a bus loading passengers
hands waiving gears
a very calm sea
a wharf where boats are free
a house by the mountain
fireflies feasting on the rain
a tree crown at night
beside a river up tight
sounds of owls and
ghouls
a rain that starts
pouring
on the roof of the house
listening
simply listening
much about nothing
about these things
as they are
disregarding
who we are
every moment is an act to be done
spic and span
every hour
an spectator
every second simply
passing line
beyond the edge
of a clean page
i do not think for the future now
in the same manner that i let the past sleep like it were dead.

Fencing
fence out despair
it does nothing good for the grass on the yard
fence in hope
for they are like finches that feed on the grains
to include the wastes of the kitchen
fence out doubt
they do nothing but crowd the room
like uninvited guests
who always ask for glasses of wine
though you want to close out
but they always persist in drunkenness
fence it love
you know what it can do to your bed
and the linens
and the bathroom
it gives you a sense of beginning
a feeling of eternity
when you have forgotten how to moan
fence out loneliness
you know how it destroys you
and deprives you of much needed sleep
when your eyes sink
like boats in the whirlpools of madness
but at any rate when these fenced out matters
still remain
such as the loneliness that you cannot drive away
or the doubt that still cling like dusts in the furniture
no matter how you dust them away
or the despair that appears like blood stains
in your pastel green carpets
well, why not be with them
and make them feel that they are at home with you
perhaps
they mean no harm
they do nothing
except to make you feel
that you are not alone
that happiness is a freak
that life is like all these
whole in sadness
undefeated in our psychological wars
that after all
they are your sources of strength
the tests of your mettle.
welcome them
after all they have nothing to stay
except in your
house of realities.

Unable To Keep From Looking Back
Unable to face facts...
Is an unfortunate mindset to have,
When all foundations of the past...
Are being revealed to have cracks.
Every question one can ask,
Can today be traced to the truth.
And every denial one offers back,
Slips from a validity needlessly pursued.
The few amongst the many,
Feeling to be at peace with themselves...
Without the need for traps,
Also have a need to isolate from those...
Who stubbornly refuse,
To accept with belief these times we are at.
Unable to face facts.
Unable to keep from looking back.
Unable to shake away hours from a yesterday.
And...
Unable to say a grip held tightly,
Begins to fade and to drift away...
From one's existence.
