Straining my every nerve
I search every nook and corner
and pick up and bundle up
all my worries in a huge sack.-
loading it onto my back
with extreme effort
and panting breath
reach your temple!
O..what is it?
a sack or a mountain?

A Purple Hat Box
I had worries, worries had me,
so I packed ‘em up and stowed 'em away.
I kept the worries at bay, you might say.
The trouble was they bugged me,
they screamed and itched and tugged me!
So I put them in a box.
It was a deep, purple hat box.
Some days I'd forget about them,
but then I'd remember and peep inside.
The worries glared at me with their big pop eyes!
They laughed at me, taunted me,
they were wild.
They talked in my head all day and all night.
They were stalking me!
Something had to be done
I opened the box again, threw them in,
nailed the lid down, real tight,
sat on the box and sighed.
The worries cried for mercy one more time
and then, guess what…………?
They died.

Worries 2
At times, we feel that
we have the worries of the world
resting on our shoulders
that seem to increase in size
as everyday passes.
We look around for someone to talk to;
invariably there is no one there.
The worries magnify themselves ten fold
and you begin to wonder how you will ever cope with them.
You keep looking over your shoulder
believing someone is watching
every move you make,
but know it is your imagination
just playing tricks on you.
The worries keep increasing at an alarming rate.
You begin to wonder
if there is any way out
with the burden that you carry.
You look for options that might help you through,
or is there just one way,
just to end it all.
Give up and submit,
end everything.
These are the words that ring out in your head.
They add more confusion
to the worries you already have.
You go to bed hoping, always hoping
tomorrow things will be better,
but in your heart, you know they won’t.
It will only be another repetitive circle
of what you have had today.

The Poet's return
So I'm back again, never thinking I'd pick back up this pen, thinking about were my life has taken me, and where will it go next. Im coming to the brink where my life is about to change forever, deciding which path is right, the one that I take or another one that I make. But yet I'm back, back with the same old outlets, back to the same old problems; a tale as old as time itself with the worries of a decade...so im back. I never thought I'd write another poem, but poetry is all around us, its in every breath you take, in every beat your heart makes, in the fluid from your veins from even the fantasies in your brain, POETRY is everywhere. The truth of the matter is poetry, just like a beat of rhyme, is everywhere. Most know it, many adore it, few idolize it, but we all show it. Because one way or another were all are going to use it, and when that day comes....oh such a beautiful vision that our minds well never lose it.

I wait for the spring
as I lay down under the sea
hands tied,
feet bound,
down under the sea
no worries and no grief
when you no more able to breathe
it’s such a relief
world without life is so rife

I would prefer a tomorrow

Unbearable plight
“I am in bad shape” complained a friend
Nothing is going well at my end
I wish I were dead
I have lost the sense in head
She was in so much stress
I could find some trace
She may be in real trouble
The life was proving like bubble
“I want to visit next world” she added
There may be some respite and new fold
I am disillusioned with happenings
Nothing is going well from the beginning
“Everything is going wrong” she went on
The world can not be won
I have done enough for people
Now I am helpless weak and unable
“Everybody stabbed me from the back” she had lot more complaints
I have lost everything and so much is at stake
I am dying of depression and worries
My end is near and hurries
“I am struggling for survival” she cursed
There is no hope for, revival
Whole family and people have turned
I have lost hope for peace to be returned
“No strength is left in me” she was more remorseful
I am prisoner and no more free
I think of hanging on tree
Let the end seem so tragic or be
“Dear, I have small daughter” she almost cried
Who will take care and look after
She too is passing same depression
Lord is cruel to us and same is impression
“Respected Lady” can you land your ears
I have seen over the years
The help can overcome your difficulties
If you maintain coolness with realities
She on the other hand reminded me of beautiful world
It has existed and she will prefer to go with boldness
The lord was unkind all these days and helped nothing
She has to do nothing but try to reach there for something
I consoled her by saying “He is only supreme”
Do not try to take hasty steps or go very extreme
Take His name when you are in dire need
He will definitely rush to you and feed
I could read more worries on her face
She had lost almost all in the race
I was merely trying to be a preacher
But she needed advice from the teacher
Well, see me after a week
I again consoled her and promised to speak
She will be alright and on the right track
I will hear it positively when again back
I had satisfaction of conveying right thing
One should not loose hope for anything
It is not helping in any way
There is always hope and bright ray
