My Boss is My ' Mınd '.
My boss is my ' Mind '-
I am his only ' stenographer '
But insincere and inefficient;
My boss ever walks on my head;
He is very fast in dictation
Ever agile and sleepless-
He cares not I take down or not-
He has no time to look back
To worry on these small issues!
My notepad is full of hurried scribblings
Which are beyond me even to decipher!
I miss many many but record only a few-
All mutilated and out of context and bruised
But my boss never asks for the draft
Yes, he has no time to look back!
Never he condemns me
But will say ' you are only the loser! '

Boss Of Me
Yes, no, maybe
I don't know
Can you repeat the question?
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
Life is unfair, so I just stare at the stain on the wall where
The TV'd been, but ever since we've moved in it's been empty
Why I, why I'm in this room
There is no point explaining
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
Life is a test, but I confess
I like this mess I've made so far
Grade on a curve and you'll observe
I'm right below the horizon
Yes, no, maybe, I don't know
Can you repeat the question?
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
Life is unfair

Boss Man
Boss man boss man what do ya say
I gotta get you alone in the mine some day
Boss man boss man turn it around
If you dont look away how can I sit down
Look at this load upon my back
Gotta get this wheel back on the track
I cant hold on but I cant let go
And I cant say yes I cant say no
Holes in my pockets and holes in my shoes
If youre ready for me Im ready for you
The company plan takes all my pay
Got a child in july and another last may
Boss man boss man what do ya say
Gonna get you alone in the mine some day
Push your face down in the coal
cause you got no heart you got no soul
Country lifes the life for me
In ten more years Ill a pensioner be
The younger lad knows when the girls are out
But you might say hes a rural sprout
Boss man boss man what do ya say
Gonna get you alone in the mine some day
Boss man boss man clear the track
Youre gonna tear the skin right offa my back
Boss man, boss man what do ya say
If you cant lend a hand then get outta my way
Itll be murder in the first degree
If you ever lay your hands on me
Boss man boss man pay my rent
A dollar Ive earned is a dollar Ive spent
The company plan takes all my check
For breakin my back and riskin my neck
Boss man boss man what do ya say
I gotta get you alone in the mine some day
I cant hold on but I cant let go
And I cant say yes I cant say no

Don't You Quit
boss,
don't you quit
loving
don't mind
the pain
i will take
over
this pumping
this beating
boss,
i am your heart
and stronger
than you think
when i was
first shattered
and broken
boss,
look, i have
no hands
look,
i heal myself
sooner
than you
think.

Loan Shark's Secretary
She writes on a piece of paper; My Boss is a multi-millionaire
Though he's never been to a school.
Boss questioned her 'What do you write honey'
'I am writing about you sir' Secretary replied.
'Then read it louder' Boss said.
'My Boss knows the secret of success than a learned person.'
When she gets her pay slip the following month she found it has been increased more than a double.

The Boss
His visitors call him boss
and they bow their heads on him.
He's the boss
but the only thing he can do now
is move his eyes
and shed tears.
He was the boss
and still the boss
but he can no longer say it
so he only shed tears.

Running With The Boss Sound
Yesterday by the paperstand I felt the power
Of another religion
Rebels with a cause came out of the sun
And spoke the only language theyd been given
Creepers tapping out the beat as I felt the heat
Man they sure looked neat
Well tonight for sure
You could feel the same as me
We didnt have to fight
On the other side of town
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound
In the day we use machines or brains
Cos we need hard cash for living
And later between tracks & raps with friends
Well find some time for loving
Stratocasters straff the sky
As disco johnny hustles by
Man those feet can fly, high
Well tonight lets dance and risk romance
Baby lets take a chance
Well make it in a single bound
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound
I feel it in the air and I know that youre there
We wont let you down
The phantoms of the underground
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound
Racing wild with the radios blasting
Out ready steady go
As we rip through the charts
Crashing like angles
At the end of rocks rainbow
Electricity runs in my blood like gods
Man if you could see it
By tonight for sure youd be the same as me
A junkie needing more
Our feet burning up the ground
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound
Yeah were burning up the ground
Where the rockabilly beat pounds
With the ska rhythm pressing down
Where the skinhead moon stomp pounds
Where the heavy metal comes down
When the punk rockers are round
Yeah you and I are found
Yeah you and I are found
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound
Running with the boss sound

Forgetting About A Birthday
On my birthday time came and went.
At this point in my life presents are irrelevant.
No friends remembered the date this year.
Only my brother, my step father and mom.
And I only saw one of them that day.
I went to work for 3 hrs only to get stitches in my head.
1hr and half wait at med express near the lycoming mall.
Because my boss is too cheap to take me to the emergency room.
That's okay the wait was shorter then what emergency room from what I understand.
A 2 hr + wait there.
100 bucks versus 700 bucks also don't blame him there.
After that it was back to work for another hour yah!
Yeah right the excitement was when I was getting home and going to bed.
You get a gash in your head and tell me how you would feel.
But it is okay.
That is how much my boss really cares about money versus his employee that never calls off for a single day.
No wonder his turn over is so high.
Hes so tight he squeaks, even when hes buying you a lunch with money you borrowed, he is both expecting you too pay it back and keeping the receipt to write it off on his taxes as a business expense.
I got some dirt in my mouth please excuse me while I rinse.
Ahh that's better, well not really but at least it's off my mind.

Life of Boss
Life is signed by the boss, and he is not stupid,
For it means his life is solid in his job,
And he cares for his religion, his job, his life
That hurts sometimes like the floor plans of a house
That is his. Man’s faith is in him.
Music he shall clown, with a swift enterprise
For life is expert, and more time is needed for the great deal.
The world is again a solution and life a boss feels.
Life has been bathed in for some time.

Boss
(Nickolas Ashford/Valerie Simpson)
Fancy me
Thought I had my degree
In life and how love
Ought to be a run
I had a one step plan to prove it
Guide in my pocket for fools
Folly and fun
Love had to show me one thing
I was so right
So right
Thought I could turn emotion
On and off
I was so sure
So sure (I was so sure)
But love taught me
Who was who was who was the boss
(Taught me who was who was the boss)
I'd defy
Anyone who claimed that I
Didn't control whatever moved in my soul
I could tempt
Touch delight
Just because you fell for me
Why should I feel uptight
Love had to show me one thing:
I was so right
So right
Thought I could turn emotion
On and off
I was so sure
So sure (I was so sure)
But love taught me
Who was who was who was the boss
(Taught me who was who was the boss)
Love taught me
Taught me
Taught me
Taught me
I was so right
So right
Thought I could turn emotion
On and off
I was so sure
So sure (I was so sure)

The Boss Over the Board
When he’s over a rough and unpopular shed,
With the sins of the bank and the men on his head;
When he musn’t look black or indulge in a grin,
And thirty or forty men hate him like Sin—
I am moved to admit—when the total is scored—
That it’s just a bit off for the Boss-of -the-board.
I have battled a lot,
But my dream’s never soared
To the lonely position of Boss-of-the-board.
’Twas a black-listed shed down the Darling: the Boss
Was a small man to see—though a big man to cross—
We had nought to complain of—except what we thought,
And the Boss didn’t boss any more than he ought;
But the Union was booming, and Brotherhood soared,
So we hated like poison the Boss-of-the-board.
We could tolerate ‘hands’—
We respected the cook;
But the name of a Boss was a blot in our book.
He’d a row with Big Duggan—a rough sort of Jim—
Or, rather, Jim Duggan was ‘laying for’ him!
His hate of Injustice and Greed was so deep
That his shearing grew rough—and he ill-used the sheep.
And I fancied that Duggan his manliness lower’d
When he took off his shirt to the Boss-of-the-board,
For the Boss was ten stone,
And the shearer full-grown,
And he might have, they said, let the crawler alone.
Though some of us there wished the fight to the strong,
Yet we knew in our hearts that the shearer was wrong.
And the crawler was plucky, it can’t be denied,
For he had to fight Freedom and Justice beside,
But he came up so gamely, as often as floored,
That a blackleg stood up for the Boss-of-the-board!
And the fight was a sight,
And we pondered that night—
‘It’s surprising how some of those blacklegs can fight!’
Next day at the office, when sadly the wreck
Of Jim Duggan came up like a lamb for his cheque,
Said the Boss, ‘Don’t be childish! It’s all past and gone;
‘I am short of good shearers. You’d better stay on.’
And we fancied Jim Duggan our dignity lower’d
When he stopped to oblige a damned Boss-of-the-board.
We said nothing to Jim,
For a joke might be grim,
And the subject, we saw, was distasteful to him.
The Boss just went on as he’d done from the first,
And he favoured Big Duggan no more than the worst;
And when we’d cut out and the steamer came down—
With the hawkers and spielers—to take us to town,
And we’d all got aboard, ’twas Jim Duggan, good Lord!
Who yelled for three cheers for the Boss-of-the-board.
’Twas a bit off, no doubt—
And with Freedom about—
But a lot is forgot when a shed is cut out.
With Freedom of Contract maintained in his shed,
And the curse of the Children of Light on his head,
He’s apt to long sadly for sweetheart or wife,
And his views be inclined to the dark side of life.
The Truth must be spread and the Cause must be shored—
But it’s just a bit rough on the Boss-of-the-board.
I am all for the Right,
But perhaps (out of sight)
As a son or a husband or father he’s white.

Special to my boss
My boss,
without you I might be lost
You managed me with no exhaust
Even sometime I made you chaos
In my mind space could little be yours
My boss,
You'll be my boss now and forever
Perhaps later I can be wherever
Lost of memories I'll never surrender
May it's truly because you always sincere
Even sometime I feel sensitive
Sometime my mind blows out prejudice
But only my self shall be perished
If I myself choose to be pessimist
But always tell my self to forget and forgive
It's the medicine for heart to relief
A bouquet of thanks that only I give
Though I feel the more you should receive
But only my prays is the purity gift
Eternal forever till the world after this

Different Languages
On the factory floor
Two ethnic women speak
In their native tongue
A language that flows beautifully
Their tongues roll
And the impact of a d or a t can be felt
Amongst all their chatter
The women laugh
That’s when others start to look
The sound of the language
May not be to everyone’s delight
No one cares what they say
Then all of a sudden......
LAUGHTER
And everyone starts to look with fright
What are they laughing at?
Is it me is it her is it him
Looking around
What did I do wrong?
Did I forget something?
Is it my zipper?
The women continue to chat
And laugh
The laughter now becoming too much
For the annoyed man
Of only one language
He goes to the boss
And files a complaint
Please boss tell those women over there
That it is not right to speak in their tongue
The boss agrees
And we are all back to uncultured boredom
As the sound of the
Lovely t and d end
So reigns the simple sounds of
A language that doesn’t flow
And the machines
That continue to sew

A Rape In The Late Night
It was a late night,
I had to complete my office-work,
So I made a sitting with my boss.
I saw my boss staring at me,
My shawl slipped down,
But the boss kept it back,
on my shoulders,
I paid him thanks,
'Mention not' he said,
Then he hugged me tightly,
He began to pat my back.
And took me up in his embrace.
I was frightened and,
tried myself to hide
He had come over me
and paid so many kisses
on my cheeks.
I requested him,
Not to stretch me wide,
He took a bottle of beer,
And told me dear,
Take some wine please,
I will sure you release,
Promise, you would do it sure,
Oh, yes, he promised, once more.
I took a sip of wine,
He murmured very fine!
Then he made me drink again,
I had become intoxicated,
So I took the wine again and again,
Having too much drink,
I was unable to think,
The difference between wrong and right,
My boss covered me with all his might.
I had no sense then he made me nude,
And began to kiss my fleshy thighs
as a delicious food,
I couldn't oppose,
He got me ready for different pose,
Then he embraced me and enjoyed
To co-operate him I couldn't avoid.
He stroke me all the night long,
Raped me again and again,
In the morning he left me alone,
When I woke up and,
Came back to my senses,
Recalling all nightly activity,
I knew I had lost my virginity.
