Hi..bird Of The Spring Season, What Is Your Name? [part-1 ]

HI, bird of spring! what is your name?

HI, wonderful bird!
What is your name?
Like a lonely boat on a silent lake-
As a solitary cloud on a solemn sky-
You glide on the gentle winds
To enthral my eyes and heart!
The colourful displays
On your cheerful wings
Fill every crevice of my heart
With the nectar of full moon!
A moment of bliss
You graced my heart;
But the moment next
Vanished in a trice
Into the inviting dense grove
Like a winged lightning!
Realising my disappointed look
Closely following your flight
With lamenting lips-
Do you warble so delightfully
At this early dawn?
By raining dreams
Into your flute of heart-
And all the expanses of my heart
To suffer in pleasure
Of your music breeze-
Like offering nectar
To an exhausted soul-
As an oasis found
In a deserted land-
Your bows of melodies
To encircle my skies
Do you warble so delightfully?

O..gliding Songster
That drives away
The crowding worries!
Sail your wings towards me!

O..the huge heap of gold
To a famished soul!
Come near me
Floating on the air!

O..the cool shower of rain
To the withering crops!
Alight on me
With throatful of notes!

O..the fresh fast flood
That breaches its bunds!
Descend on my shoulders
In one single flight!

O..Divine Bird!
I have been here

Visit this longing heart!

O..the Angel of Melodies!
Land on my heart
Revealing your name

O..Bird Of Spring! What Is Your Name? [part-3]

Oh..slender-waisted bird!
You pilot the snowy yacht of the melody
On the blue seas of the skies
As if a breeze on its dreamy flight!

What is that opening line
That is stitched to the melody
Which deftly rolls over and over
To sweetly blend and increase the bliss?

In the melody of your music
I scale the heights of ecstasy;
But with no way to its meaning
I suffer in deep anguish! .

My Sweet Little Heart

Heart Heart Heart
My sweetlittle heart,
Why you beat so fast.
My heart is lonely,
But it is full of glory.
My heart will smile,
But for a while.
My heart will cry,
just like raining from the sky.
My heart will sing,
like the air in spring.
My heart will pain,
When anyone cheats me again.
My heart is sweet,
But always want to compete.
My heart will glare,
When someone will blare.

I Give Birth To A Poem!

I GIVE BIRTH TO A POEM!

I am about to give birth to
a Poem!

I totter, engulfed by the unbearable,
Yet sweet intoxicating pains
With razor-sharp edges,
Striking me blind
With brilliant flashes in quick succession!

The war-drums of pains thunder-dance on me,
Hissing furiously like venomous cobras,
And striking fast knifing their fangs at my waist!

Oh! that designated moment has just arrived!
The sharp jabs of its steely second-hand
Erupt in me massive pains of roaring waves;

I am immersed in the supreme brilliance of birth's brightness!
I struggle and wriggle at the boundaries of my intellect!

Everywhere in the skies of my heart
The simultaneous wing beats are heard
Of crowding and milling bird species
That shed tears of crystalline joy!

The Mother Nature sits beside me
With blessing looks and merciful hands!

Ha! haa!
I plunge deep down the depths of pain;
I give birth to my Poem Sun
At the heights of my fancies' peaks!

Hey! millions of winged souls!
Burst forth into rapturous songs
All in one voice to hit the skies in powerful waves!

I bathe my baby in soft drizzles of my silky dreams!
I mount the baby like a flower
On the soft wings of a gentle breeze!

Birds of every feather and every land!
Warble lullabies to my new-born!

Let your songs, as the first voice,
Bless my Poem-Baby
With showers of blossoms of songs!

Little Bird..Is Your Heart Parched ?

Little Bird..!

I doubt your heart would become parched
by efforts to roll your breaths into verses-

and raising your bills into the skies
pipe your melodies flooding the dawn....

Where is the fountainhead of
the deathless springs of your music?

What is the interwoven message
in your unbroken songs?

Is it the shackles-shattering joy
with the birth of hopeful morn?

Is it specially for the mornings
do your songs surge in waves?

Or else, is it just for your songs
the morns arrive in hurried steps?

Which angel exactly at dawn
daily unfailingly wakes you up?

Who is she that floods your heart
with sweetness and verve?

Wherefrom do you steal the honey
dripping in your melodies?

If not, what swings in your small heart
is it a honey comb?

Or else, is your heart itself
structured in the heavy honeycomb?

Does your heart hold ' Paanjajanyam'
the mighty conch of 'Lord Krishnaa'?

What is your wage for singing songs
for 'Lord Sun' at the temple of 'Day '?

Is everyday of the year to you
the salary day of the month?

Do you decorate the golden wrists of dawn
full with the bangles of melody?

Tactfully moulding the syrup of music
fixing a flute as its mouth...

to brighten the heart
lighting the lamps of tunes..

does 'Mother Nature' create you
in her moments of ecstasy?

Have you bound and brought the sun
by your musical lines, little bird?

Tell me, little bird, is the infant 'Sun'
delivered by 'Mother Music'
at the house of East
in the birth pangs of tunes?

A Bird Has Just Commenced Its Flight

[ Prologue ]

This is my preface poem of my first collection of poems in 1990.
-
A Bird -
has just commenced its flight
amidst milky cloud herds
in the blue heavens!

So long-
years upon years-
in the dense jungles of its 'mind'
perching on the topmost branches
of its 'intellect'..
combing its wings of 'poesy'
in the warmth of sweet 'solitude'-

Feasting on every bit of
horizon's holy 'delights'
and greener plains' finest 'ecstasies'
and harvesting its crops of 'fantasies'-

With dreamy eyes inhaling deep
the unpretentious and unceremonious
dripping of droplets of 'time'-

Crumbling dejected in its 'failures'-
waning weak in its crazy 'longings'-

Inconsolably weeping and sobbing
in inexorable 'miseries'-

Recreating itself again and again
to totter on lean bones of 'hope'-
swaying its mind to the moods of 'fate'-

To the sturdy ropes of 'hours'
fastening the yoke of
the fleet-footed steeds of 'seconds'
cracking the whip of gentle 'minutes'
it has piloted the heavy-wheeled chariot of 'years'
on the dusty roads of eventful 'past'! -

Perceiving realistically things as they are,
torturing not its torrent of words
into the tight crevices of grinding grammar,
allowing them to glitter in the brilliance
of natural emotions, emitting 'freedom',
it has begun its music of melodies!

This bird's heart and tongue suffer not
from disharmony of pitches and tunes;
it does not wear any falsifying masks;
also no sermonizing in its themes, sure-

'Nature' is its 'heart';
'Love' is its 'breath';

Spreading its broad wings of 'poesy'
gracefully it circles
higher and higher up in bliss
in the ethereal blue-

Fully aware it is of numerous hunting looks
stretching bow strings to their ears
aiming sharply its dancing wings-

Yes, its melody is yet another variety,
may be a different shade-

Imagine how monotonous would it be
if birds of diifferent feathers
warble the same song in same tune?
will not the 'sun' run helter-skelter?

Since it wanders
on the highways of the 'universe'
it may spray the pollens of 'star-flowers'
in gentle and soft drizzles-

The intention of its singing is only
to experience the exquisite thrill
of vibrations it would generate
on sympathetic heart strings
of a dear distant bird, far far away
on a mammoth time and distance scale-

It is for that identical heart
that bravely fights against
the currents of the valiant 'past'
in its deep longing to link this 'mind'
I await here broadcasting my 'soul'!

Yes-
in the groves of 'universe'
amidst dense growth of 'cloud plants'
in the moon-lamp's light
gathering myriad 'star flowers'
stringing all into a sparkling garland
at the shore of 'aeons'
facing the lapping 'time seas'
I await you, o my bird, o my 'sun',
with welcome songs spilling into 'future'!

Everyday.

Everyday
I hear jazz in the trees.
Tinkling on the breeze.
Sprinkling melodies.
Like the sunlight
On a secret lake.
When I awake.
Beauty whispers
From your eyes.
To materialise.
In a dawn surprise.

Everyday
I shiver,
With the love
That hits my heart.
With arrows from your quiver.
Though apart,
You scatter flowers
At my feet.
Rainbows are incomplete
Without your smile.
Meanwhile,
I drink the nectar
Of your distant kiss.
Far away bliss,
Floating
On diamonds of the tide.
That ebbs and flows
Like that miracle inside.
That ties sweet bows
Of cloud in the skies.
Under the glittering prize
Of our star kissed romance.
Only sunsets enhance
Our tender goodbyes.
As my heart sighs
In the silence
Of a promised embrace.

Everyday
I see your face.
And surf the ocean frantically waving.
Inwardly craving
Our passion,
That ran away to sea.
The drowning of ecstasy.
Witnessed
As my hands were tied.
I tried,
Unsuccessfully,
To touch
- So much.

Everyday
Still to bear,
That chair.
I crouch,
In despair.
To slouch.
Listening
To 'Air on a g string'
From Bach.
Hark!
Glistening,
Our dove flies.
With fluttering wing
Uttering Spring.
In bluest skies.
In slow motion,
As my rhymes capsize.
In the ocean.
Resounding
In amber lit bay.
Pounding
Like forgotten tunes.
I wish now
Would play.
Everyday.

Listen to The Song of Invisible Bird!

Listen to The Song of that invisible bird,
The Song of great singer several souls heard,
Sings sitting on tree of life, hidden under every leaf,
Its song go unheard by those pretend deaf,

Ever tuned to that great music,
Everytime it sings same song,
But with different lyrics and different words,
Autumn may come followed by spring,
Leaves may fall to make way to new,
Each leaf has that song, the bird flies under cover of green leaf,
When old yellow one fall,
Green leaves should learn from the fall of the old!

One can wait flowers to bloom,
Or can reap all fruits mature,
or remove immature buds or raw fruits,

The tree of life spread to several worlds,
One parallel to other,
Makes one world happy by another,
some may cross and intersect,
only to give or take life!

Come an sit near a flower,
Look at frog waiting for insects to come,
The invisible bird sings its song,
May it be heart of the flower,
It is flower for you,
source of nectar to insects,
place where frog gets its food!

It is cage for that bird ready to fly,
enters as nectar into insect,
and it enters frog as insects,
and moves along food chain,
It may be invisible to these eyes,
Yet it has its flight can be seen,
Look at your heart, the same bird sing,
Who knows when and where is its next flight?

From that day you are in my heart
My heart is filled with full of love
and want to fall in your arms
When I think of you
wonderful feelings run through my heart
You have touched my heart with your gentle words
You have touched my heart with your soul
You have touched my life with gentleness

I feel your beauty in my heart

Axiom of Life

In my eyes of heart
In my heart of eyes
Magical moon had lit
Many stars smiled
Over my clouded heart

On my drums of heart
On my heart of drums
Songs played magically
Music oozed slowly
Over my beat less heart

To my dreams of heart
To my heart of dreams
Life roused freshly
Smile smiled smilingly
On dry lips of my heart

For my life of heart
For my heart of life
Colors faded naturally
Season changed timely
For me to be my part

When my soul loves your heart.....

I have your heart within me

that keeps telling me love story every night

God has given us love as the best medicine

to purify our hearts and soul with affections

When your heart and my soul touch each other

then there is no room for sadness

When my eyes close for sleep

then my soul awakes and kisses your heart

When your heart plays music with my soul

then the melodies hover like nightingales

When your heart is longing for my love

then my soul is belonging to beautiful nights

When my soul loves your heart

then its not only what your heart for

but for what my soul lives with you heart

Nectar Sweet

My humming bird heart
beats for you
faster still with you in sight;
but you my flower
elude me.

I flutter
mid-air in flight
above other flowers
but no nectar drips from my beak's visit;
no matter how far I plunge
toward some flower's-center
it's not yours, and I retreat.

I pause,
flutter away
without that sweet juice of yours
I crave.
Possessing it is my Obsessions' Obsession.

Nothing deters my eye
from my flower-mission;
neither cat
nor rival bird
challenge me
when they espy my determined ire,
as I put my sharpened beak on display,
exhibiting to them my humming bird speed
and my reckless need.

No, they shrink
away
with second thoughts
and leave me to my nectar quest.

Some flowers are beautiful,
but none so beautiful as yours;
this is set in me for all time-
even if I,
nectarless,
become weak and falter-
no longer able to fly
and plunge spiraling to the ground;

I will have you my sweet
or no nectar at all.

Lonely Dancefloor

The Pangs of death
Shroud me in mystery
I am so lonely
Left to dance alone
as always as myself
And that's dangerous

Seeing the fangs
of loneliness To me
It's too much, So
I am ding inside
In my brain
and in my soul

it is like you see me
On A Lonely dancefloor
dancing to the maestro
of the sad Lonely music
that rings to blacken me
within my heart

the bells of loneliness toll
I am losing the will to live
I still dance alone, on the
Maestro's Lonely Dancefloor
at Least untill you save my
Lonely, heart and soul

A Sad sour Violin plays
with sour and sadding piano
song, The lonely Waltz is
Playing, until you save me
Get me out this lonely place
Or the Lonely sour Flute will play

I cry the moment this
sad symphony plays
The sad violins, Piano,
Flutes and Piccolos
Play the sting of lonely
defeat, I want you, Near me, when it does.

Get me out this music hall of sadness
And into the cheerful Lad of the living
Spare from the death of it all
My Heart and soul, forever more
I only want your friendship
So I may happily dance again/

Silvery Beauty Vavroovahana Patra

Innocent silvery Beauty allures the poet;
Poet waits a while for a little delight.
Admires the art of creations;
Pervading the mystery of Beauty she frees tension.

Silvery Beauty allures delightfully;
Poet drinks the nectar of Beauty gaily.
The vehicle waits a while on the path;
Poet enchants with mirth.

Beauty is a gift of Almighty;
Lover enjoys with Delight.
Beauty enchants mind, heart miraculously;
Lover functions duty delightfully.

Poet heart reminisces Beauty’s face with gaiety;
He derives peace and delight;
All beautiful things are attracting;
In the lap of Nature are delighting.

Beauty appears with peace and pleasure;
Contents lover’s desire.
Beauty is a Deity;
Lover prays with gaiety.

The Revenge Of Love

Oh! Rukmoni, are you listening?
How can you listen!
As you are living in a far away land
By chance if you listen this poem
In the sky or air, take it for granted
That it has been written
For you and if you have time to spare
Go to the silent bank of the river
Or listen to it closed door ever.

Oh! Rukmoni,
I have taken the revenge
Not against you
But against me,
The job why I had not got
In the proper time why I had not.
So when I was breaking the steps
Of the heart of yours
And the houses and the doors.
The steps were trembling
The stars of the sky were whirling
In a fear as if the things might go in a wrong way
Your parents would come out and say
That it would not be possible for them to keep the promise at all
Though to me they would be extremely polite humble.
Suddenly all the hopes would get their wings
Flying like a thread less kite all the dreams.

The job I have got today
And beg to you to pardon me
Why in the proper time I did not!

So you are away from me …apart
Still I feel you in the corner of my heart
And in my every dropp of blood red
And in the every soft touch of the wind.
Just remembering the name of you
I get an immense pleasure in the world of dream
Like a white cloud floating in the paradise
When I am in the ocean of sorrow of my life.

So many brides I have seen
So many brides I have been shown
I have rejected them all
Saying ‘'I am very well alone''

They will not feel the stone
They will not feel the feather
Of my heart and soul
Which I feel lying alone
Looking at the doors of my dream
Tearing down of all the bondage
My love is coming….!
Even though living in the reality
I don't understand why
This is not a truth, it's a lie.

In the multitudes
I am alone and bitterly lonely
With a delirium mind and a heart full of pangs and agony
The eyes are in the sky, I walk down the road
And in my imagination I draw your face in the cloud
Who are sometimes laughing!
Who are sometimes crying!

What is that to me?
Even you are away from me
I got you in the clouds of imagination
In every pose and in every position
Just like that, come to me
And sit down to say sweet or sad story
I promise, I shall not end the journey.

To make me forget your memories
The virtual road ends in my house
I could not do anything but to stand up
In the wall of your picture to draw up
Which sometimes crying!
Which sometimes laughing!
Playing the flute of the dolorous
The nectar of my heart glorious
She talks with me like a mad woman
And saying that I became a mad man.

A Depressed Girl

a depressed girl

&

her eyes have strayed into the horizon

never to return for eternity, it seems;

or have they struck a chord with another soul?

her heart is a boiling cauldron of conversations;

she tries to serve to all near ones through her tight lips

but none seems to have appetite for her delicacies;

she has hence forsaken this proximate world of far off hearts

and journeys in space of mindless distances

in search of a resonant heart to share her all.

her every word here stikes a very discordant note

and everyone is bereft of a soft and warm word;

even their looks spit contempt on her face

everyone thinks she has no sensitive heart.

will anyone around her surround her with eager ears

and bring her back soon into this colourful world?

O flowers! You can have colourful petals.
More than that must there be enough nectar.
Moths come to you expecting in you nectar.
Otherwise they stay with you no longer.

Million Thanks Even For The Tiniest Shadows!

I will croon million 'thanks' on my journey
For even the tiniest shadow
That the smallest plant spreads underneath!

Gain I will a thousand wings of 'hopes'
Out of the joyous smile of a cute little flower
From atop the swaying tufts of grass!

I will lovingly scatter many a poem on my way
In honour of even the smallest puddle on wayside
That perfectly mirrors the nature's beauty in its heart!

With all my heart will I shower my blessings
Whenever, on my way, see a small bud laughing in glee
Just after the silent unfastening of the knot on its petals!

If I have to meet a weeping bud
Disfigured by the trampling of a heartless mind
I will hug it close to my heart in my surging pain!

Whenever I meet a dot like star
In funful prattle high up in heavens
I will entreat the secrets of the puzzling universe!

I will glorify the soul of the fountainhead of joy
Whenever I come across the frolicsome eyes
Of a tiny lightning signing a message in rainy skies!

Yes, I proudly declare that I could name
The weakest warble of the smallest bird
Amidst the grandest symphony of the early dawn!

Whenever I ponder over the unseen roots
That toil and sweat deep inside the soil
I will pray in the direction of my parents dear!

I will tighten up my wearied strings of nerves
On seeing a tiny ant, full of intent, hurrying alone
Contemplating on the greatness of effort!

The Sun of immeasurable size and might
Rushing past the mind-boggling distance
Voluntarily shrinks its mammoth frame into a tiny dot
But with the same undimmed blinding brilliance
Sits in unobtrusive calm within the dots of dews
Meditating at the pointed tips of every blade of grass!

Oh at the sight of this graceful act
I will light up my lamps of humility in my heart!

A Lady's Response to 'The Proposal

How might you be my everything, my heart's tutelar,
When I shan't allow thee to be, for me, too famular!
I need not, thee, nor any other, to be most veracious-
I shan't allow that my heart be for thee, too commodious!

You may not be its guardian, as I see to its coffer,
I resist the enticement of your most beguiling offer!
You hold me in the highest esteem, I do not understand;
Yet, I too must abide by my heart's wanton command!
I need make alliance betwixt mine own heart and thine own mind,
I shall need too, allow: that we two be amorously intertwined!

My every thought, you shall be, due my allegiance of cause-
As I sleep, or as I am awake, thoughts of thee shall ne'er pause!
It is my heart's solemn duty, to accept this calling, amorous;
My heart brims with emotion, yet shall remain commodious!

You too, shan't need want for any fashion of love or attention,
With every moment, witness again, we shall, its ascension;
As each day passes to the morrow, again it is ever more-
My heart is most captivated-I concede, thee I do adore!

My wants are wants of your own, sikerly, I feel the same-
My heart and soul thieved-further denial would be for shame!
Dreams I had coffered are now dreams to which we aspire-
For you are the solitary source of my mind's true admire!

I shall be for thee: your heart's faithful guerdon, your confidant,
Most trusted friend, your sunshine in the rain and duteous appreciant;
The world shall behold the truth that hath captivated my heart-
All shall revel, as I, in all the wonder and love you do impart!
Remiss would I be, if but one single moment lain waste
Whence I celebrated not, the magnificence therein graced!
