But Bless Me Peace..!

The crystalline peace
speechlessly settling
on soft padded feet -

The bliss of solitude
of a caressing breeze-

The soulful songs of hiding birds
enhancing the magic
of the melting dusk-

The distant call of a devotional bell
lifting the soul
to the feet of god-

All that I deeply inhale
under the grand canopy of heaven
at this precise moment-

Would I experience
in same solemn glory
with the same intensity
and absolute divinity
after years roll by
in dusts of forgetfulness?

Alas!
Reckless has been my journey so far-
missed all majestic morns;
lost every evening show;
deaf to all winged songs;
thick to the kisses of loving winds-

Lo..given my all
to the sweat of wealth
and bites of worry;

O lord take my wealth
but bless me peace!

Beauteous Forest Vavroovahana Patra

Beauteous is the forest;
In summer provides oxygen.
Tranquilises creatures minds, provides peace, merriment.
The forest is beautiful, mother’s shrine smiles in the forest, devotees
are delightful.

Beneath the trees shade passers-by rest a while, chilly breeze kisses
The passers-by gaudily;
Passers-by enchant peacefully.
Poets rest a while, depict beauteous poems enthusiastically;
Inhale pure oxygen gladly.

The green forest is a Gift of Almighty;
In all poets mind provides peace, gaiety.
Poet depicts the Eternal Truth of life;
Provides peace in human minds, evaporates grief.

I pray my mother Sarala Daily;
Mind derives perennial peace cheerfully.
Chanting hymns I derive peace;
Singing mother’s devotional songs derive bliss.

Chilly breeze blows silently;

Forms of Wealth

To money is attributed wealth
But the open truth of wealth
Is, It is not the only kind of wealth—
There are also other forms of wealth!

Good health is the best form of wealth
Forging rich links in relationships is wealth
Spontaneous love for all life forms is wealth
To have enthusiasm in life is wealth.

Acquiring life-long learning is wealth
Experience and wisdom in life is wealth
Meeting new people is also wealth
Visiting new places too is authentic wealth.

The quest to explore something is wealth
To have a positive mind-set is wealth
Existence of deep internal peace is wealth
Early morning waking up with joy is wealth.

Possessing high self-respect is wealth
Having strong spiritual connection is wealth
There exist so many types of wealth
Constitute all these and you're with full wealth!

Whispered Assurance

Lord, You are my Hiding Place
In this remote cave of solitude,
As my soul gropes in empty space,
And I thirst for inner fortitude.

Like Elijah, I am in hiding,
And I fear the howling winds of life,
The violent earthquake of losing
That shatters my hopes like a knife.

In the strong winds, You are not there
Neither are You in the fierce earthquake,
But You come in a quiet whisper,
With loving care, my soul You take.

You cradle me with Your assurance
Like a newborn in his mother's arms,
'My child, there will be no circumstance
I will ever leave you to Harm.

You are the apple of My eye,
And you are My treasured possession,
My Son ransomed you when He died
On Calvary's Cross, at Crucifixion.

As My child you have My Spirit
To assure that I'm always with you-
He is an Eternal Deposit,
To guide you and your strength renew.

You know I will never leave you
And I promised I will not forsake,
All My promises will hold you through
And light the path your life will take.'

So in absolute surrender,
In quiet trust I lay at Your Feet,
I'm thankful that You are my Potter,
When life is over we will meet.

'You are my hiding place, You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.'

Living Life To The Fullest....

did you run away from yourself?
for how many years now?
are you happy on this?
are your feet still under your control?
do your eyes still make those tears?
do you still figure out the message from those stars?
do you still believe that there are those who never cease loving you?
are you peaceful now?
do you commit your self to another despite the pain?
do you shy away from those who keep on hurting you?
do you love yourself?
do you continue knowing yourself?
do you like being alone now?
do you know what songs are found on those beaks from white seagulls?
do you hum the songs of your soul?
is your soul and body synchronized?
do you like to quit?
if you do, please do not proceed.
there is no use.
the questions keep popping out
like those lotuses blooming on the pond
like those mushrooms on the rotten haystacks
after the thunder and the rain.

have peace, do not mind.
live the moment
for there are really no clear-cut answers
to life that is lived
to its fullest.

Feet On The Rock

(Spoken)
Well, I wanna talk to you for a minute,
About an old man I met,
He said, Boy, you look in trouble,
And I bet your life's a mess,
He said, I used to have the same problem too,
I was way out of control,
You know the only thing that set it right for me,
Was a little good old rock and roll,
Chorus: (Sang)
I put my feet on the rock,
And my name on the roll,
When it's called up yonder,
I won't worry 'bout my soul,
I know my home is waiting,
And it's something to behold,
I put my feet on the rock,
And my name on the roll,
I'd never heard the gosple,
Spread like that before,
I guess the message comes in many ways,
Those simple words of wisdom,
Can open heaven's door,
So every time I get the chance I say,
Chorus:
Come on, put your feet on the rock,
And your name on the roll,
When it's called up yonder,
You won't worry 'bout your soul,
You know your home is waiting,
And it's something to behold,
So put your feet on the rock,
And your name on the roll
--- Instrumental ---
Chorus:
Come on, put your feet on the rock,
And your name on the roll,
When it's called up yonder,
You won't worry 'bout your soul,
Well, You know your home is waiting,
And it's something to behold,
So put your feet on the rock,
And your name on the roll
Chorus:
Come on, put your feet on the rock,
And your name on the roll,
When it's called up yonder,
You won't worry 'bout your soul,
You know your home is waiting,
And it's something to behold,
So put your feet on the rock,
And your name on the roll
Now, put your feet on the rock,-ac

Jump For Joy!

Jump for joy
Sing songs of praises to the Lord
Up on your feet and dance
Give glory to the Lord above

My only shield, my armor, my defender
My creator, my everything
Thank you for every trials
Thank you for all answered prayers.

As I continue my life journey
Be with me, and don't ever leave me
I cling unto you, for there is no other but you
I am nothing without you.

And so I will always jump for joy
With peace inside my heart
For you deserve all my praises
Jump for joy! ! !

O Jamaica

O Jamaica
How I missed you
Your easy gait
Mangoes and pears
I left your majestic hills
And clean sea breeze
Songs of the humming birds
Dub poets
And breadfruit trees

O Jamaica
I missed your reggae rythms
Bungo sounds
And Natty
I left for a land I knew not
A land of plenty
Was it for wealth?
Was it for pride?
No!
For knowledge, maybe
Yet I am empty

O Jamaica
I missed your beaches
And Negril
Sitting on stones reasoning
Now I get you Peter Tosh
And Muta is right too

Hardly a day goes by
That I do not think of you
It's not physical
Just an inexplicable pain
One that holds no hope
Without the LORD
I could not cope

O Jamaica
How I missed you
When will I see you again?
Dance with you again?
Land of wood and water
'No problem people'
People of hospitality
Of clean water
Where the sun never sleep
Snow-less land
Land without debt collectors

Twenty five years since I left your shores
But it feels like sixty
Twenty five years since we walk and play
But it feels like sixty
Twenty five years since I saw granny's tomb
But it feels like sixty
How are the dandelions?
Is Blue Mountain still blue?
And how is Kingston
And Montego Bay?
O Jamaica!

A Misty Day

Heart of my heart, the day is chill,
The mist hangs low o'er the wooded hill,
The soft white mist and the heavy cloud
The sun and the face of heaven shroud.
The birds are thick in the dripping trees,
That drop their pearls to the beggar breeze;
No songs are rife where songs are wont,
Each singer crouches in his haunt.

Heart of my heart, the day is chill,
Whene'er thy loving voice is still,
The cloud and mist hide the sky from me,
Whene'er thy face I cannot see.
My thoughts fly back from the chill without,
My mind in the storm drops doubt on doubt,
No songs arise. Without thee, love,
My soul sinks down like a frightened dove.

Valley of Peace

God can help your heart to climb, a special place of peace of mind,
Up to that special mountain top, where all your worry seems to stop.
You let all problems roll behind, as you journey down the other side,
Down to a valley below of peace, where all your burdens truly cease.

This can be at The Savior’s feet, where our peace is made complete.
So cast your burdens on to Christ, who died for us to have New Life.
Peace, Christ wants to fill you with, as your New Life in Him you live.
And this New Life you have in Him, removes the burden of your sin.

Christ enables you to live each day, through The Spirit, on the way.
Powered by The Spirit of God, He protects you on the path you trod.
The Spirit gives you peace in life, that was attained by Jesus Christ.
In a trial, just call upon The Lord, and your burden won’t be ignored.

When you are upon a weary hill, your heart, with peace, He will fill.
And Christ’s peace will not stop, even after your feet reach the top.
For as you start back down the hill, His peace remains with you still.
Christ will never leave you friend, not even when you reach the end.

Soon you’ll be in the valley above, surrounded by His Eternal Love.
With no more weary hills to climb, as you enter a new world sublime.
Eternally in the presence of Christ, as He leads you into Eternal Life.
In the Eternal pasture of The Lord; guided by His Love forevermore.

and then it came back as
part of the
the winds of change

with some brown leaves
and wings of birds
and butterflies
the winds of change
has come

with the rays of the sun
with the songs of the day
with the hair of my woman
the winds of change
has come

with the yellow sunflower
with the humming bees
and soft rains
and rainbow
the winds of change has
finally come

take me to the magic

Krishna's Lure

Sweetest song of Krishna
I hear your magic flute
With song and joy
You do lure
With lightest mirth
and heart so pure.

The slightest smile
upon your lips
it doth bespeak of bliss.
And in your splendid image
is the blessing of God's kiss.

Your joy you spread like
perfumed breeze,
to sweeten life for all.
For like the blessing
of the trees,
we see in our divinity,
An answer to
God's call.

As I rest here by the pond,
Of Lotus flower peace,
I ponder on your presence,
And to my great release,
my thoughts take flight,
for highest heights,
my happiness increased.

In loving thankfulness,
and gratitude I've found,
the love of God,
in your sweet smile,
on this journey
heaven bound.

If heaven descent fire winds
Where all soul will stay
If land is mortal, where grass will live
And if whole days is somber
How our shadow will appear
So; if star drizzle like morning dew
Where our heads will hide
If winds blow heaven fire
Where all birds will play
So; if we lay our heart on hot mat
And lost the heaven peace
Where our soul will stay
Ah; what delight of lion having no teeth
And bliss of fish having no tail

Magic Circle

We all need a place where we can go, to escape from stress, trouble or sorrow. I have found such a place to call my own. Peaceful but exciting and for me alone. This Magic Circle has so many things I need Comfort in my sorrow from unkind word or deed. Peace at the end of a long and trying day. Encouragement when I falter on life's pathway. Inside this Magic Circle I've shed so many tears; also shared my laughter my dreams and my fears. I've shared so much excitement, love and fun. I Wish a Magic Circle for each and every one. Within this Magic Circle I find just what I need, and I never have to ask for it, never beg or plead. Inside this Magic Circle I'm protected from all harm. Yes, I have found MAGIC, in the CIRCLE of your arms. What God Designed Help me dear Lord to appreciate today. Not take for granted the wonders you display. Blue skies embracing a soft white cloud. Birds are singing so sweet and proud. A soft playful breeze from over the ocean, ripples long grass in a dancing motion. The joyful sounds of a mountain stream. adds tranquillity to this peaceful scene. Insects hum their songs of pure delight; as my senses absorb this beautiful sight. If man has made life better today, why do I need to escape this way? I remain quiet: not moving or blinking My mind at rest, not even thinking. A butterfly alights upon my hand, More exquisite than anything made by man. Amid all this beauty I lay dozing My spirit at peace, Or am I supposing. I will close my eyes at a quiet time and experience again what God designed.

The Nature

Beauty is the nature's natural name,
The nature is poet's soulful game;
Her moods, rhythms and colours frame
Heaven on the earth in poet's dream.

Picturesque orchestra of the nature's rhyme
Stirs subtle sweet passion's flame;
The nature sings in silence for all souls,
Dawns new feel of devotional whole.

Blue in the sky and green all round
How change in mood with the passing time!
Cool of breeze and warmth of sunshine
How weave rare joy in the nature's womb!

Musics of streams and chirpings of birds
Rise like hymns from the nature's trove,
Clouds afloat and smiling sweet flowers
Swing in wind to greet all souls.

Air is thick with relaxed mood,
What a thrill, what an inspiring stir
Hangs in air like the heaven's benison
And blends onlookers with the nature's soul!

The grace of god as heavenly light
Diffracts as kaleidoscopic spectrum,
A spell everywhere, arcane vibrations,
The nature's music catches like fire.

What a sweet soft madness inside,
What a sweet soft madness inside
In the nature's calm rise and fall,
In the still quietude, in the quiet simple mood!

Those simple forms, those gentle hues,
Those quiet moves, those silent songs,
Those magic spells of sweet fragrance,
What a blend, what a shocking grace!

The nature, not mere nature, a cradle of beauty,
A ladder for all divine gifts,
An open keek to the streaks of heaven
In untouched lively virgin form.

The nature is a clean mirror of the soul
Where the soul itself reflects for real,
Bright like the sun, yet soft like the moon
And refreshingly pure like the morning dews.

The Peace of God vs. The Peace of The World

-God says I give you the peace of God, that passes all Understanding
The World says ' I will give you peace' but the world doesn't tell you that that peace is just too Demanding.
-God says Love thy neighhbor
The world says hate thy enemy and love only under certain circumstances.
-God says I will show you the way, for I am a lamp unto your feet
The world says You are on your own.
*The peace of God vs the Peace of the World

The world says ' Go head girl put cha leg up' and that 69 is fine
-The Lord says: ' Have fun' but Honor me cus I am yours and you are Mine.
The world says ' this ain't burger king, you can't always have it your way'.
-The Lord says 'don't worry, tommorrow will be a brighter day'!
The world gives you hope, peace and joy that is only temporary
-But the Lord gives you joy like a river overflowing, smiles that have other people glowing.
He makes your enemy your footstool,
whereas the world lets everyone walk all over you.
The world gives you a candle that will soon burn out
-God gives you a lamp, that will eliminate all doubt
* The peace of God vs the Peace of the world.

Oh the illusions of peace from the world
And the reality of God's Peace
It gives you the ability to teach
the ability to preach
and the ability to face seen and unseen realities.
oh the illusion s seem similar,
But NO, OH NO there are NO commonalities!

So which one will you take?
The Peace of God or the Peace of the World.

From A Distance

From a distance, the world looks blue and green,
And the snow capped mountains so white.
From a distance the ocean meets the stream,
And the eagle takes to flight.
From a distance, there is harmony
And it echoes through the land.
Its the voice of hope, its the voice of peace,
Its the voice of every man.
From a distance, we all have enough,
And no-one is in need.
There are no guns, no bombs and no disease
No hungry mouths to feed.
For a moment we must be instruments,
Martching in a common band,
Playing songs of hope, playing songs of peace,
Theyre is the songs of every one.
God is watching us, God is watching us,
God is watching us, from a distance.
From a distance, you look like my friend,
Even though we are at war.
From a distance, I cant comprehend,
What all this war is for.
What we need is love and harmony,
Let it echo through the land.
Its the hope of hopes, its the love of loves,
Its the heart of everyone.
Its the hope of hopes, its the love of loves,
Its the song of everyone.
Sing out, songs of hope,
Sing out, songs of freedom,
Sing out, songs of love,
Sing out, songs of peace,
Sing out, songs of justice,
Sing out, songs of harmony,
Sing out, songs of love,
Sing out, everyone,
Sing out, songs of hope,
Sing out, songs of freedom,
Sing out, songs of love,
Sing out, songs of peace,
Sing out, songs of justice,
Sing out, songs in harmony,
Sing out, sing about love,
Sing out, everyone.
Sing out.

Who Had Settled My Temple Of Love

People when you meet my beloved

Please tell him that I missed him so

Please tell him that I missed his angelic smile

Tell him that mylife is empty without his love

Tell him that I missed his charming eyes

Maybe the flame of our love deserted his heart

But tell him that his love will forever survive

Deeper of my heart will never die

Every morning with sun will come to the life

If you ever meet him please ask him

Who is touching his pure soul

Who had settled my temple of love

How much i'm in need to the warmth of his hug

Like a child that is in need to her mother's hug

He was my only shelter

Only there my soul could rest in peace Still his hug revives in my mind

His words of love when everytime comes to my mind

My soul becomes crazy and begins to sing the same old love songs

He was my world
And his love was my wealth

Who hassettled in my house

Though long long years had passed us by

But the tears of my heart never stopped
Still I shead a tear every once in a while

I forgot even myself

But the memories of his love are always alive

Here deeper of my heart forever will survive.
