Beauty Is A Simple Melody
beauty is a simple melody
lingering ever in our thoughts
not as a struggle but a cherished dream -
it never dazzles as the midday sun
but glows warmly of its inner soft brilliance
and puts us on a gentle swing.

A Buddah Is Born In Me
a buddha is born in me
&
every morning
a 'buddha' is born in me
as a clear babbling stream
are all my meditated thoughts-
the roots of worries
like mirror reflections-
the moon-beam of life
at a reachable distance-
i gaze into myself
in perfect perspective -
and visualize myself
as a rootlet in every happening-
the goodness of others blossom
as the bright bars of morning sun -
i destroy my poison
to let in good thoughts-
'bliss hereafter in my life! '
i enjoy in meaningful silence.
&
in the speed of seconds
in the friction of events
in the rashness of conclusions
and in the heat of anger
i expolde offensive words
and burn myself-
why everyone has drawn
daggers at me, all in unison?
i knock my head
in depths of darkness.
where my buddha
had gone dead?
how did so many ghosts
gain entry into me
to crush and drink my blood?
&
' i will turn a good soul tomorrow! '
i tell the night that drags me along;
i could read a soft smile at its lips!

Hi..bird Of The Spring Season, What Is Your Name? [ Part-3 ]
O..Bird Of Spring! What Is Your Name? [part-3]
Oh..slender-waisted bird!
You pilot the snowy yacht of the melody
On the blue seas of the skies
As if a breeze on its dreamy flight!
What is that opening line
That is stitched to the melody
Which deftly rolls over and over
To sweetly blend and increase the bliss?
In the melody of your music
I scale the heights of ecstasy;
But with no way to its meaning
I suffer in deep anguish! .

That Gentle Touch..o My Love!
O MY LOVE!
don't you know how long
i yearn for your soft touch-
that gentle touch of your fingers
upon my closed eyelids?
if only could you realize its power
to melt my miseries and grief,
caressing me into the skies
of serenity and rippleless rest!
your touch is the first song
of the dawn dissolving my gloom-
a ray of light to hold on to ascend
onto my hopes and happiness!
delay not, my love, deprive not
the gentle dew of your love.

Where Love Glows
Where love glows warmly from within,
God's Spirit's welcomed there,
Such that each heart can turn from sin
And shine beyond compare...
For love glows like a furnace flame,
It brings both heat and light
And those who love can't stay the same,
For they must do what's right.
It like their hearts are filled with love,
With Christmas joys and more!
God's gifts and grace will prove enough
For those who would stay pure...
Consider rainbows in the sky
That cast dark clouds away!
Or dazzling dolphins leaping high
To celebrate each day!
Where love glows warmly from within,
It melts away the past,
Such that each lives new souls to win
Till Heaven comes at last...
Let God's love kindle broken hearts,
Reborn to live anew...
For truly that's when beauty starts,
With words like, 'I love you! '

I Give Birth To A Poem!
I GIVE BIRTH TO A POEM!
I am about to give birth to
a Poem!
I totter, engulfed by the unbearable,
Yet sweet intoxicating pains
With razor-sharp edges,
Striking me blind
With brilliant flashes in quick succession!
The war-drums of pains thunder-dance on me,
Hissing furiously like venomous cobras,
And striking fast knifing their fangs at my waist!
Oh! that designated moment has just arrived!
The sharp jabs of its steely second-hand
Erupt in me massive pains of roaring waves;
I am immersed in the supreme brilliance of birth's brightness!
I struggle and wriggle at the boundaries of my intellect!
Everywhere in the skies of my heart
The simultaneous wing beats are heard
Of crowding and milling bird species
That shed tears of crystalline joy!
The Mother Nature sits beside me
With blessing looks and merciful hands!
Ha! haa!
I plunge deep down the depths of pain;
I give birth to my Poem Sun
At the heights of my fancies' peaks!
Hey! millions of winged souls!
Burst forth into rapturous songs
All in one voice to hit the skies in powerful waves!
I bathe my baby in soft drizzles of my silky dreams!
I mount the baby like a flower
On the soft wings of a gentle breeze!
Birds of every feather and every land!
Warble lullabies to my new-born!
Let your songs, as the first voice,
Bless my Poem-Baby
With showers of blossoms of songs!

As None Other Will Listen Me In Silence
god! whoever or whatever may you be
make my life simple
thoughts noble
speech striving towards truth
heart rushing to help the needy
head neither bloated nor depressed
mind never treating another
inferior or bankrupt of talent-
a resolve to walk alone
the path of righteousness against odds
a desire not exceeding my needs
a belief just capable of consoling my grief
and putting me back on life's unending stream!
god, i know i come to you with tears and pains
not in the hope i will see light
but to unburden my heart of my grief
as none other will listen me in total silence.

The 'tweet Tweet' Call Of Drongo
the 'tweet tweet' call
&
the 'tweet tweet' call 'in pairs'
from the sweet throat
of the split-tailed black dra[o]ngo
in bold postures on slender branches
matches the whispering calls
of a love in tender dreams
on a moon-flooded night!
what an aquiline shape
with a lengthy forking tail
god has blessed this bird with!
a pleasing feast for eyes
as it unfolds and tucks in
its graceful wings fanning designs
in short, sudden and swift flights
composure calm and bearing elegant
intermittent notes in melody soaked,
piped through the honeyed throat,
a beauty carved out of a glossy black!
o how many are your modulations,
each one competing with the rest
in flooding my heart and soul
in every musical excellence!
you have become my inseparable companion
amidst all morning glories!
and the music and melody of my life!

Nature And Poet
Nature is the diet of a poet,
from natural beauty
poet derives immense pleasure,
drinks the nectar from the flowing down
Himalayan hilly stream, fulfils the long cherished
desire, translates into reality
the sweet lovely dream;
The tiny brook dazzles with the morn’s Sun beam.
Oh Lord Siva! Ye reside on ‘Kailash Mountain’;
Beside Ye flows down the magnificent
alluring mysterious
transparent water of the fountain.
Devotees pray thee for a bliss;
from the ‘Abode of peace’
Ye fulfil their desire and wish;
they sleep in the lap of Nature,
receive Nature’s kiss.
Poet is a worshipper, preacher
in the temple of Nature;
With indomitable enthusiasm
pens verses with tranquillity,
serenity, sanctity, being pure.
Man comes and goes;
poet’s verses remain for ever;
As a brook flows down eternally
in the lap of Nature.
Poet’s poem dazzles in golden letters
on the pages of history;
Depicts the Eternal Truth of Earth,
the beauty of Nature,
and the mystery.

Dream Dream
Dream dream like falling rain
All is beautiful though searched in vain
Love is a pain - love is a feeling
Something of a passion somewhere stealing
Love comes and goes like it glows
All is a dream - a dream that goes
Feeling from the darker night
Taking all the blues away
Flying light sweet soft light
That meets another day
Everything that comes to shine
Gives a brighter on day
Something that makes you feel fine
Taking the shadows away
Love is never out of touch
In all its temperaments and play
It’s a mood to feel so much
And never the same, always to stay
Love comes and goes like it glows
All is a dream - a dream that goes
Sometimes when we are far apart
And nothing seem comfortably right
It’s only the inside beating heart
That makes my dreamy on flight
All is a dream - a dream that goes
Love song of feelings that inside glows
Dream dream like falling rain
All is beautiful though searched in vain
Love is a pain - love is a feeling
Something of a passion somewhere stealing
Love comes and goes like it glows
All is a dream - a dream that goes

Cold Beauty
What is beauty without warmth n love,
Brrrrrrh cold seein but cannot hold.
No grasp of this beauty, only a distant touch,
Maybe from giving beauty to much.
Or not givin beauty enough,
Seein the distant gaze of green, grey, n blue haze
In the place where beautys eyes go.
But to the touch beauty is cold as snow.
How did beauty get so?
Why did beauty let go, of the warmth that imbrased her so tight?
Guess beauty is still beauty inspite,
Only dream of beauty every night.
To wake everyday in dismay not to see beautys face.
So my thoughts of beauty remain in solitude,
to respect beautys mind not to be rude.
Still wantin to intrude because of my pain.
But what if beauty calls anothers name,
In the hours that I dream of her.
So my words remain a secret to beautys ears,
As i quickly wipe away the tears.
And wish beauty the best of life.
As i grasp myself and my dutys,
Still lingering in my mind is cold beauty.

Thoughts On A Fallen ' Paarijaatham ' Flower.
thoughts on a fallen 'paarijaatham ' flower.
&
i was wading through my vague thoughts
as i walked along the roadside-
i came to senses with a sudden start-
o god! i was about to tread on a small flower
full of grace and simple beauty with a mild fragrance-
it is considered a holy flower;
it is 'paarijaatham' or ' pavazhamalli '
with one 'cm' orange stalk
and six perfectly merging white petals-
there always seems to be a swirl frozen on its petals
resembling the wheel-like weapon of gods-
memories of bygone years visit crowding me
whereupon we, brothers, rushed to gardens and groves
to gather these lovely flowers
with the greediest arms encircling in whirls
to corner these gems outwitting other valiant competitors
as they lay spread like mats on the ground
while rained in blossom-showers over our heads-
we also had gentlemen agreements among boys
not to invade the territories of others not so clearly marked out-
and to offer duty bound to our father
for his daily morning worship-
yes those were the cheerful days
as if on an expedition in the cool dawn hours
waiting impatiently for the 'keyman ' to unlock the premises-
why this flower blossom stealthily at night
with none to enjoy its fragrance and beauty?
why its life is so short-lived?
why even the whisper of a gentle breeze knocks it down?
o tree! are you so heartless to disown your kids
like some soulless mothers of their illicit infants?
or do the stars order that these star-children
also to depart at the invent of the dawn?
o tiny flower! ever you kindle sweet memories
of our joyful association from ages past-
blessed i am, o charming friend,
i have ever my rebirth as a child at your sight!

The true friend
He is the best of all friends,
so caring, he's a true friend.
He puts a smile on our faces,
for His love flows with graces.
He came with so much love,
to shine the light to our world.
He loved, cared and cherished us,
and we are are saved by His devine touch.
He's humble, gentle and kind,
His heart so pure, filled with light.
He's strong, powerful and filled with might,
yet simple, gentle and kind like a blissful night.
For our sakes, He was tortured, beaten and crusified,
in pain, torment and agony He died.
But in his love He prayed for us,
He's a true friend, His name is love.

The Swing Of Things
(pal waaktaar)
They say the worlds an eventful place
You give me news
I dont want to know
You say that I should care
That I should speak my mind
Oh, but how can I speak of the world
Pushing by
With a lump in my throat
And tears in my eyes
Have we come to the point of no turning back
Or is it still time to get into
The swing of things
Let us walk through this windless city
Ill go on til the winter gets me
Sleep... you wrote sleep, my dear
In a letter somewhere
Oh, but how can I sleep with your voice in my head
And and ocean between us
And room in my bed
Have I come to the point where Im loosing the grip
Or is it still time to get into
The swing of things
When she glows in the dark
And Im weak by the sight
Of this breathtaking beauty
In which I can hide
There is a worldful out there
Of people I fear
But given time Ill get into
The swing of things
Yes, when se glows in the dark and Im struck by the sight
I know that Ill need this for the rest of my life
What have I done
What lies I have told
Ive played games with the ones that rescued my soul
Have I come to the point where Im losing the grip
Or is it still time to get into
The swing of things

Hidden Passion
Hidden Passion,
stored locked away the thought of passion forgotten,
yet, lingering in distance air passages.
How does one recapture these floating
Ever so soft clouds of passion
to be able to put back these whispering breezes of desire?
If only it could be stored in a bottle
to be later mixed with an enticing fragrance
that is activated by gentle slow embraces of love-making
and soft touching one to the other
this scent that refills the air
getting stronger with each moment
as the passion in the both of you heats up!

Everything Gets Reflected In Me
everything gets reflected in me-
the sky, the rolling clouds
the call of the birds and the sea,
the rustle of the leaves in whispering winds-
in the limpid lake of my mind
and their moods change its colours-
every fragrance wings into my heart
and every thought of mine soars into the space
to shine alongside brilliant stars and suns.
my laughter finds its colour in the brilliance of flowers
and my tears in the trembling pearls of the mist;
my deep fancies i dispatch to setting skies
my heaves of sighs to the billowy oceans
my anger is imaged in thunder and lightning
and my love in the songs of harmless birds!

Bless Me Such Thousand Births, O God!
i stand like a speck with dreamy eyes
beneath this wide dome of sky
carpeted with ashen clouds
with nothing to impede my vision-
around me cool winds surfing
i am slowly drenched by soft drizzles
of melodies from distant spheres and heavens
in strange languages in soothing voices
and i spin slowly with outstretched arms-
o god! bless me such thousand births!

My Equation Is One Gain To Two Losses
my equation is one gain to two losses!
&
unbelievables do happen
before my stunned gaze!
the bubbles of dreams of yesterdays
yes, they are buds of reality now!
i ask myself million times
' is it true? am i awake and conscious?
there can no more be disbelief-
two valiant silences tear away the mighty egos
and coo a melody of affection-
how could it be?
' excuse me; i have done you wrong all along'-
'o no..i have nothing in my mind '-
there is no hand shakes
but embrace of hearts in heavy silence!
no postmortems needed;
we are alive to love and affection;
we are no more in mortuary of hatred-
soft peace settles gracefully on my soul.
i salute god for the blessing
but god wears a mischievious smile
your equation is to be ever
one gain equals two losses-
yes, the shocks of two bang on my heart!
i wither again in pain and grief
and say, 'everything must have a meaning
beyond the confines of my knowledge! '
o god when can my equation be
one loss to one gain?

I couldn't help but stare
Mesmerized
By the fluid movement
Of your fingertips
Caressing
Pressing
Dancing along the ivory
Slow and slim
Nimble and divine
I sensed an urgency
Beyond your gentle tune
Haunting me
Sending shivers
Up and down my spine
Sweet suffering
Shimmering
Lingering
Behind the soft, sad notes
Touching me in my heart
So deep, your pain became
My own
Piercing through me
And long after you were through,
My mind was still replaying
That same tender melody

Was it a dream or a vision
In my lonely thoughts i saw,
A woman of purity and tenderness,
Walking towards me with precision,
Holding my right hand with descretion,
Was it a dream or a vision?
My heart skipped a beat,
My eye skipped a blink,
I lost my concentration,
Her beauty none can describe,
Her modesty i honoured,
Her skin so soft and tender,
Was it you or another,
A dream or vision?
Her lips i reached,
The vanillia of my saliva,
The smell of love was in the air,
The distance knew us not,
Was it you my love,
Was it a dream or a vision
She took me by the hand,
Whispered she loved me,
My ears could not contain,
I shivered with amusement,
The sight of beauty beyond doubt,
Uncovering her destiny to me,
I think it was you my love,
But my thoughts never knew,
Was it a dream or a vision
