You deserve a hot Mocha
The tangling 15th century chandelier hanging tough
Brightening the living room and spar
The cozy Italian sofa so laid back
With classical music enlightening listener
To a stood still, you’re so indulged
Connected with buddies over the net
At a mouse click on your laptop
Big TV screen at the center of the lounge
Is showing ‘why human needs sex’
On Discovery channel
On the lounge table are served
A hot Mocha coffee with Delifrances breads
And butter cookies
Aroma of Smokey Mocha
Lingering on every corners
Besetting a rendezvous
Your fingers picking up the mug
And sip it slowly down the throat
Nourishing your central nervous system
You’d feel lively and easy
All surrounds will be beautiful
Get it along with Delifrances
Like a woman needing enzymes
To reproduce a healthy baby
You’re in your own class of world
Hot Mocha, Delifrances breads and butter cookies
Life is so flourish
A laptop and classical music
You’d constantly picks
To get you energetic
Big TV screen and chandelier
Is the scaler
You’re richer
The cozy Italian sofa
You’re on par
With those big shots thus far
So, when you going off to work tomorrow
With your Mercedes SLK 500
Be sure that you deserve what you’re worth for
A hot Mocha

Cup of mocha
You never liked
the taste of mocha
You said it was
coffee laced
with chocolate lies
I always loved it
when the chocolate
masked the coffee
Just enough, and
let it linger nice
A lie coated truth
But, truth nevertheless...
The warm cup of mocha
Stands and grows cold
outside in
Dreams, forgotten,
lie dormant
new, old within
I stretch over the table
as across continents
To hold your hands,
to cup some warmth into;
a coffee grown cold,
a life grown old
We always shared
the mocha
you sipping
seeking the coffee
While I taste
the chocolate,
wait with the coffee
We stare athwart
Our love’s passion,
no longer an obsession
It retains within us ties,
Coffee mingled with chocolate lies
You always said
“Serve me poison,
with a smile,
I will drink it too.
Please, don’t lace it
with chocolate as with
coffee you do.”
You never liked
the taste of mocha
Yet, you always
drink it with me
As you sip,
your eyes crinkle
and I smile too, with you...

No I Can't Drink My Mocha Cold
Midnight in my mind,
Does not stay rested.
Nor is there something,
I wish to test.
I'm somewhat of a mess.
With thoughts selected.
Some are good.
And some I should reject.
So I try to drink my mocha cold.
But I can't sip it sugar free.
Like I can ice green tea.
No I can't drink my mocha cold.
It's got to be hot.
Poured right out of the pot!
That's how I like it.
Midnight in my mind,
Does not stay rested.
Nor is there something,
I wish to test.
I'm somewhat of a mess.
With thoughts selected.
Some are good.
And some I should reject.
But I can't drink my mocha cold.
Nor sugar free.
Like I can good green tea.
No I can't drink my mocha cold.
It's got to be hot.
Poured right out of the pot!
That's how I like it.
No I can't drink my mocha cold.
It's got to be hot.
That's how I like it.
At midnight.
Said I can't drink my mocha cold.
It's gotta be hot.
Right out of the pot.
No I can't drink my mocha cold.
It's gotta be hot.
That's how I like it,
At midnight!

Coffee
Mocha brown
your skin
feelings deep down
of sin
Much flavor
you never lack
I plan to swear
but can't go off track
as sweet as toffee
you are to me
my cup of coffee
you set me free
with you I've grown
I'll never be alone

Lady Marmelade
He met marmelade down at old moulin rouge
Struttin her stuff on the street
She said hello hey jo wanna give it a go
Gouchi gouchi ya ya, da da
Gouchi gouchi ya ya here
Mocha chocalata ya ya, creo lady marmelade
Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir.
Voulez-vous coucher avec moi.
Sat in her boudoir while she freshened up,
That boy drank all that magnolia wine.
On the black satin sheets where he started to freak.
Gouchi gouchi ya ya, da da
Gouchi gouchi ya ya here
Mocha chocalata ya ya, creo lady marmelade
Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir.
Voulez-vous coucher avec moi.
He came through in with the money in the garden bags
Let them know we got the cake steaigt out the gate
Some women say that is for whores
But why spend mine when I can spend yours
So this is agreed for you Im sorry
Im gonna keep playing those cats for all that money
High heel shoes getting love from the blues
For the bad ass chicks from the roulin rouge
Hey sister, sow sister, better get that dough sister

Monkey Butt with Choca Mocha
It's not my favorite...
But it's hot!
This flavor tasted that I've got!
It satisfies a need that's fed...
A craving that has stopped inside my head!
A temporary drop,
In my pocket.
I will admit a feeding has been met!
A soothing to a drooling has been cooled.
Addicted to a moment of regret that's soothed!
Put a double on the cone for me!
With a cherry on the top...
Sitting on whipped cream with meaning!
Put a double on the cone for me!
Since you're out of Maple Nut...
I'll take take two scoops of 'Monkey Butt'.
And come back and get that 'Choca Mocha'!
Put a double on the cone for me!
With a cherry on the top...
Sitting on whipped cream with meaning!
Put a double on the cone for me!
Since you're out of Maple Nut...
Give me 'Monkey Butt' with 'Choca Mocha'!
Wait!
Leave the 'Monkey Butt'
And add two 'Choca Mochas'!

The Notforgettin'
Before that sacred holy flickering tv-screen
You're served commercials day-time fakes and tv-priests
You keep your VCR running almost constantly
Afraid to miss out on something happening on channel three
You zap from channel one to two look what they have done to you
You live from staged realities and fakes
Channel three then four and five you double check your tv-guide
Re-enacted lives to keep you awake
Life is served
Here every taste will find our satisfaction guarantee
On the never sleeping flickering screen
You keep watching this truly weird masquarade
The flickering screen enchants you your truly all enslaved
Nostalgia sports and comedies, cops cartoons and tragedies
Remote control at hand you sit enslaved
Washing powder and apple pies re-runs soaps and Jesus Christ
Anytime is time to zap the world away
Life is served...
We're your tellyvisions
You zap from channel one to two...
Nostalgia sports and comedies...
Life is served...

Laptop Laptop
laptop laptop laptop
I pray that Miroslava’s
laptop laptop laptop...
arrives soon so she may
have a much much much...
better better better...
day day day every day
this each day I pray
may your laptop arrive today...
to ease extra toil pressure
you have too much to do
and I worry worry worry...
about you too much pressure
accumulated emotional worries
seems sometimes to plague you daily...
review score manyfold
blessings of your happier life
time for Miroslava; to yourself; to be nice...

My World Complete
She is the sun
She is my heaven
She is the moon
She is a cup of tea at noon
She taught the birds to fly
She is the blue sky
She is a striking vision
She is my woman
She brings life through birth
She is the very earth
She is the breeze
She puts my mind at ease
She is hotter than Hell's fire
She is all I require
She is a blessing in disguise
She adores me and I likewise
She is like freshly baked cookies
She taste as sweet as cherry candies
She is my strawberry Parfait
She is ice tea on a hot day
She is chocolate-caramel ice cream all right
She is a mocha latte cinnamon delight
She is more satisfying than any honeydew
She is the best thing on the menu
She brightens up the darkest allies
She is the hills and the valleys
She can calm the roaring seas
She is filled with infinite possibilities
She is more than delightful
She is truly wonderful
She brought me out of the worse
She is my life, my universe
She is laughter
She is joy ever after
She is a magnificent story
She is my morning glory
She chased away the pain
She brought sunshine from rain
She makes every moment worthy to repeat
She is my joy, my world complete

Girl With The Butterfly Tattoos
Girl with the butterfly tattoos
Could there ever be a me and you?
If you where closer to me?
You said you saw somthing in me
Do you remember when we mett?
It wasn't a spark
It was a bonfire
I had my mohawk
You had your afro
We didnt take it slow
It was fun though
An still is just to talk to you
Your just so damn kew
You are everything I want in a woman
From your mocha skin
To your beautiful mind
One of a kind
When will you be mine?
I trust you with my life
Will you ever be my wife?
Join me, together we can go
on an adventure
On a scale from 1 to 3
Your a 10
I think im in love with my best friend..
Girl with the butterfly tattoos....
Tell me.. Will my dreams ever come true?

Oh Those Cookies Made
You hooked me with your looks,
And also cooking, 'bay-bee'.
Your speciality is baking sugar cookies, 'bay-bee'.
And a tasting of your cookies,
Is my favorite crave...
I rush to get to savor.
Because the flavor makes them great...
I've lost my patience to wait.
Oh your cookies made,
Are the best I've ever savored.
Yes your cookies made.
Is a taste that can't get better.
Oh...
Those cookies made,
Are fun to munch in any weather.
Yes,
Those cookies made.
Your cookies made.
Oh...
Oh your cookies made,
Are the best I've ever savored.
Yes your cookies made.
Is a taste that can't get better.
Oh...
Oh those cookies made,
Are fun to munch in any weather.
Yes,
Those cookies made.
Your cookies made.

Like Father Like Son!
My daddy has been busy all the while,
Holding the laptop on his dispel,
Sucking the milk bottle, I looked at him,
He smiled, smiled and smiled.
Daddy bought for me PS1,
I played with the joystick with fun,
Then came PS3, I fought not to sleep,
Daddy at his screen, still smiling.
Daddy bought for me a laptop,
To do the assignment of all sorts,
Then click certain icon,
My mouth opens wide and wide,
I have started to smile in shock.

September Rain
September Rain (sonnet)
Most days, on my way to the bar or grocery shop,
I walk past an old man who sits in the shade of
an oak, on a creaky sofa that has lost its place in
the lounge. I usually stop and talk to him, he can’t
remember me from one day to the next, tells me
the same story about his parents, and where he
grew up; Portugal of yore. He isn’t here today, only
the mantle, he wraps around himself when there
is a chill in the air, is flung on the old sofa; a zephyr
whispers that he will not be back. “Will I be that old?
I ask the waning sun. I sit on a sofa on the terrace,
a blanket wrapped around my shoulders, scan the sky,
in the vale where I live and my parents too lived,
we wait for September rain.

Pop-up Adverts and how They Crush Your Soul
I sat by my screen intending to write
An ode to the woman who gives my soul flight
Start up the computer and run through my mind
To see what emotions and feelings I find
‘Your eyes make my heart beat so fast it’ll pop’
(pop) SHOOT THE DANCING BEARS HAT AND WIN A LAPTOP!
I click the advert closed and try to regroup
My thoughts and my dreams and take another swoop
‘Your smile gives me joy other people wont know’
(pop) JOIN OUR NEW ON-LINE HYPER CASINO!
My flow interrupted again by this ad
I close it and try to get back what I had
‘Without you by me the world becomes scarier’
(pop) MEET OTHER HOT SINGLES WHO LIVE IN YOUR AREA!
A scowl, a click, I growl and flick my screen back to my ode
I try again to board my train of thought back down the road
‘Your voice gives me love, all my heart will allow’
(pop) FREE SMILIES AND POINTERS FOR YOU TO OWN NOW!
---
I pick up my paper and ready my pen
To start to create my poem again
‘Your soft touch sends sparks all over my skin,
Like the sparks that fly from the computer in my bin’.

The Pink Laptop
One day I saw a pink laptop
So pretty it made my jaw drop
I dreamt about it for days
Scheming the different ways
That I might have it for my own
Although it's brand is unknown
I went back to the store again and again
Waiting for the day to come finally when
I'll get to take the pink laptop home
And burrow in my room with it like a gnome
I'll write my stories in it and play movies too
I'll live with it, sleep with it, and even take it to the loo
But one day I went back to the store once more
To my horror- the pink laptop is gone forevermore!
Some owner brought it home without my consent
Some forty thousand pesos he worthily spent
And with it he took my new bestfriend
And now the pink laptop is his - the end.

We do a lot of light classical programming with that, too... obviously... a lot of Tchaikovsky music, Grieg, things like that which have become less classical with classical concerts.

No Football
When we first met we didn't,
it wasn't on the menu.
Of course it had me curious
I gave it much attention.
In April we indulged,
we were so very proud,
bouncing on the sofa
we did it in the lounge!
Later, in July
there was a time, I think
when we hit all the high notes
a few times by the sink.
In Autumn he got lazy
all this just had him spent
so I baked him pastries
and he ate those instead.
New Year was so merry
we drunk all Daddy's Sherry
I think perhaps we did it,
I wasn't really with it.
Last time was the best
and lasted quite a while
it was in Central Park
We had a bloomin' lark.
These days we just don't,
he's got so fat and heavy,
except for when we're bored
and no football's on the telly.

An Invitation.
She invited Joey
to her apartment
on the second floor
and as she opened the door
her dog came
barking along the hall
Shut up Bonaparte
she said
Go away
and the mutt walked back
with its tail
between its legs
to its basket
under the table
and she ushered Joey in
and closed the door behind her
and said
What would you like to drink?
tea coffee coke beer?
Coke will be fine
he said
and she told him
to go sit in the lounge
and once he sat down
he looked around the room
and on the small table
by the sofa where he sat
was a photograph of her
and her husband
taken on their wedding day
she dressed in white
and smiling
and he in a black suit
like a hit man
in a mobster movie
and she came in
with his coke
and set it on the table
by the sofa
and then went out again
swaying her behind
which made him smile
then she was back
with a tall glass
of white wine
and she set it down
on the table beside him
and sat down
and began talking
about the night
he had met her
and her husband
in the bar in town
and how she had invited
him over to meet her husband
and he had bought them
both a drink
and while her husband
talked to his friend
she had flirted with him
and made him laugh
and how after that
they'd all meet
on Friday evenings
in the same bar
and her husband
had invited him
to their place
to play chess
and he remembered
how he used to play chess
holding off letting
her husband win
so he could stay longer
and see her more often
and then she leaned over
to get her drink
and she put one hand
on his thigh
and reached over
for her wine
and he smelt her scent
and the brush of her hair
as she leaned over him
and having her glass
she leaned back
her hand still resting
on his thigh
and that look of mischief
burning in her eye.

In a way, the history of jazz's development is a small mirror of classical music's development through the centuries. Now jazz is a living form of original music, while classical music has gotten to the end of its cycle in terms of exploring its form.
