Sonnet 20
It's no real wonder why
How the days grow on
We are what we are inside
Rather this be weak or strong
The old tree seen it's years
Yet another flower blooms
For what we often seem to fear
Is all but from our own gloom
We search for many things in life
And wind up with nothing more
Sorrow, Tears, And lots of strife
Yet we're better off then some for sure
Look and we shall find how true I agree
Live with love, smiles, and just be happy

Half a Poem
I laughed. The other option was to cry,
But she was looking so I had to laugh
Or show myself as weak - I cried inside,
Where only I could see my many tears
That poured like fountains of my sorrow,
My joy, my pain, my peace, my hate, my love.
I thought she was the pinnacle of love:
A flower that comforts the ones who cry,
A beam of light that ends the worst sorrow,
A joy that causes chuckle then a laugh
That then explodes and ends with lovely tears.
This girl, she made me feel these things inside.
I never told her what I felt inside
My silly dreams of life with her in love
With me, I thought one kiss would seal the tears
Which spread throughout a heart that bled to cry,
Recalling not the day of sharing laugh-
ter: friends became a mist in the sorrow.
And there was my downfall- in my sorrow

Leave the World Something Real
Expectations of excellence
Unveil the gardens of the soul
These flowers given in mystery
Generations spire into a living fire
Hands made of silk angels
Troubadours play on corners
Architecture reveals future visions
These children with eyes of stars
Dross is burned away in sorrow
Pure gold stands in the gallery
Steeples rise in the blowing wind
There in the sky we see a child’s mind
Grow you seeds that become great trees
Find your part - seek to grow
Rise like clouds in the blue
Blossom into the inward realm
Seek your call and listen to your dreams
What is love?
Growth is love
Using what you have been given is love
Everything you become that is real and true
Is real and true love
Being in love should be for all, man is a family
Even your personal life relates to the whole
The celebration that two are growing together
Fly into the world of growth
Become yourself with the color of growth
Michelangelo left us something
Emily Dickinson left us something
Rembrandt left us something
Mary Beecher Stowe left us something
John Lennon left us something
Search, learn, know yourself
Become all you’re meant too
Selfishness takes and takes
Love gives and gives
When a rose blooms isn't it wonderful?
Grow and grow and never stop
Leave the World Something real

Meant To Be
We're meant to be.
You and me.
Look inside I know you'll agree.
Take hold now we'll be free.
We'll make eachother strong and live in glee.
For we know it's meant to be.
The greatest love song ever sung.
Doesn't even know what providence has brung.
To each of our lives.
Fulfillments river has finally sprung in our hearts.
The purest love forever here, cannot depart.
The greatest scribe could never write.
A story with more fatefull light.
Full of truly faithful pride.
The greatest love story since earth days rise.
It's what we have and it's no lie.
So look inside and deepness find.
What for years you've tried to hide.
You'll see it's meant to be.
I choose you, so please choose me.
It's really true you must agree.

My Tree Of Life
Once a seedling
Well nourished and fed,
Now a giant elm
In my garden bed.
I've sheltered this tree
From wind and rain,
Watched it grow,
And kept it from pain.
This great big elm,
So important to my life,
Signifies my past;
It symbolizes my strife.
When I grow weary
Of dealing with my pain,
I turn to my tree
Realizing I have much to gain.
My tree has scars
And it's bark grows rough,
But day after day
It's just never enough.
You see at my tree
Life throws rain,
And at my tree,
Life throws pain.
It's these things though,
My tree needs to live.
For, it's these hardships
Life has to give.
So just like my tree,
I'll learn to move on.
I'll soak up the storms
Until I'm gone.

Precarious
Why must I search…
For love or emotional concern…
I treat others like myself…
Fear of falling from high…
Above…
Feet not grounded…
Yes…I am bounded…
To jester…
And strong attitude…
Weak in respect…
All tantamount to failure…
So…I depend on pleasure…
And why not…
It is the zenith of my day…
I am not okay…
Because I am in that way…
Lacking in stability…
As dangerous as it maybe…
Why must I search…
Are…the compliments so…
I can be bed…
And not wed…
Many nice things are said…
And demonstrated as true…
So…why am I so blue…
In my mirror I see smiles…
Thinking I have a foot hold…
On life…
But as yet…
I am not a wife…beep, beep.
And I rush for my date…

Unwavering Fear
Nothing seems wrong
All is right
Perfect as can be
But in an instant
Fast yet slow
Lond but short
Everthing changes
Nothing's the same
Everything's gone wrong
All happiness and perfection gone
Like a candlelight blown out
Like the petals of a flower in a strong wind
Unwavering fear
Enters our body
Consumes the heart in a suffocating asthma
Unwavering fear
Makes your actions wrong
For your brain is gone
Unwavering fear
Makes you think things
Negatively and sourly
Predictions of the future
Once so beautiful and happy
Now full of horror and despair
Unwavering fear
Makes sleep impossible
For days on end
Unwavering fear
A suicide in the making
Just waiting for the final push
Unwavering fear
Heartache and sorrow
Shall be my last feelings
Before I take my own life
All thanks to
Unwavering fear

The Rose
There was a Rose so warm and bright.
And from it smiles would grow.
It stood out from the other Plants.
It; s beauty was on show.
A Flower with such presence,
That all that came to see.
A Rose within a garden
Blooming happily.
Then one day it's leavs grew weak.
And the brightness seemed to fade.
How could a bud of beuaty,
Grow dull from day to day?
And suddenly the smiles grew weak.
No more stunning petals
No more standing tall.
Then one day the rose grew weak.
And to the ground it fell.
Such a loss to all around
Enchanted by it's spell.
And so a space in the garden
Where once beaty grew.
A space that could never be filled.
By a presence so strong and true
( not written by me but i liked the poem so much it makes me think of my dad)

A Laugh -- And A Moan
The brook that down the valley
So musically drips,
Flowed never half so brightly
As the light laugh from her lips.
Her face was like the lily,
Her heart was like the rose,
Her eyes were like a heaven
Where the sunlight always glows.
She trod the earth so lightly
Her feet touched not a thorn;
Her words wore all the brightness
Of a young life's happy morn.
Along her laughter rippled
The melody of joy;
She drank from every chalice,
And tasted no alloy.
Her life was all a laughter,
Her days were all a smile,
Her heart was pure and happy,
She knew not gloom nor guile.
She rested on the bosom
Of her mother, like a flower
That blooms far in a valley
Where no storm-clouds ever lower.
And -- 'Merry, merry, merry!'
Rang the bells of every hour,
And -- 'Happy, happy, happy!'
In her valley laughed the flower.
There was not a sign of shadow,
There was not a tear nor thorn,
And the sweet voice of her laughter
Filled with melody the morn.
* * * * *
Years passed -- 'twas long, long after,
And I saw a face at prayer;
There was not a sign of laughter,
There was every sign of care.
For the sunshine all had faded
From the valley and the flower,
And the once fair face was shaded
In life's lonely evening hour.
And the lips that smiled with laughter
In the valley of the morn,
In the valley of the evening
They were pale and sorrow-worn.
And I read the old, old lesson
In her face and in her tears,
While she sighed amid the shadows
Of the sunset of her years.
All the rippling streams of laughter
From our hearts and lips that flow,
Shall be frozen, cold years after,
Into icicles of woe.

An apple in my eye
Few years ago, she came to my life
Like a little flowers that blooms
From a little bud to a flower
Giving me all pride as my man's wife
She is soft, pink and gentle
Always laughing and smiling
She is understanding beyond her age
And talks lots of an adage
She cares us like our mom
She cuddles us like our dad
We often wonder, who she is?
Our daughter, or an angle
Sent by god for two tired souls
Who struggled all through
Our daughter, or an spirit
That springs to us with smiles
When we think we are lost for ever
Our daughter, or a medicine
That heals our body and mind'
From the disabilities we suffered
Our daughter, or a bundle
Of joy, driving away our tears
And making us live without any fears
Yeah, she is, and she alone can be
Our heavens given gift in life
Our god's blessed child
Our dreams come true girl
Our beautiful little sweetie pie
An apple in our eye.
None other than Aishwarya
Who proudly calls herself as Aishwarya Roy.
Lovingly called Chinku by amma
And roudima by appa.

Live Again
When you turned and walked away
You said all you had to say
It was over
You just couldnt understand
How deeply I had given all my love to you
I was left alone in tears
Our life together had become a memory
And as far as I can see
There was darkness
And I had nothing left inside but pain and sorrow
I had no plans for my tomorrow
And I had to find a reason
That would make me live again
Live again
Now today
I feel my life is worth living
I have someone who is giving
Someone to share each new day
Someone who will always stay
When I think of yesterday
It all seems so far away
Im so happy
And I feel as my life has just begun
And that the world is gonna be mine
It is this feeling deep inside me
That has made me live again
Live again
Live again

A Flower with years
Like a seed
I began in the open firmaments of the heavens
battered by the very elements of nature
to make me strong
in a milieu that
oppresses, dictates, and abuses
but I’ll rise'
like a flower, I bloomed with light’s rays
like a flower, I was groomed by years
like a flower, I unfolded with grace
like a flower, I am the living years
but watch and see'
I’ll be your treasure because of these years
I see me with years -
a cistern that absorbs the days
then
replace them with experiences
a price not paid with a few years
so I murmur not
because of these years
yes
I am these years
but I’ll rise'
like a flower, I bloomed with light’s rays
like a flower, I was groomed by years
like a flower, I unfold with grace
like a flower, I live in years
but watch and see'
I’ll be your treasure because of these years
I’m
crafted in hurt, misery and pain
A price I paid for younger to listen and fear
yet they see this not
yet I’m not perturbed because of these years
but I’ll rise'
like a flower I bloom with light’s rays,
like a flower I groomed by years
like a flower I unfold with grace
like a flower I live in years
but watch and see'
I’ll be your treasure because of these years

Future Years
A morbid beauty
Glows in resonation
Mercurial signs they read
Make real our minds
True fascinations
For now we're rolling
And kinda golden
As time keeps folding
We're old when our poor souls depart
Whereas cold cruel jokes now make you cry
One day you'll take them in your stride
All of the time we've resided here
You'll see our chalices rise
With ever endless tears
And illusions they fly
But someday soon will clear
Just sit back and recline
I'll guide you through the years
Through the future years
As they'll soon appear
Someday all too near
Now the distance clears
Bad ways which rule all the ways we go
Through black and the gloom
Consecutive days and plain afternoons
The things in life
They pass the time
While those all around are bored
Though we come down in real demise
Trek through all of the feelings with no tears in eyes
Kept fear veiled so it hides
Life's never forced or dry
So theres nothing inside me
I just seem alive
To the future years
As they'll soon appear
Dressed in slacks as we will
So its stars they steer
Just tie a silk sheet round your neck
And twist it till your face turns cherry red
All of the time we've resided here
You'll see our chalices rise
With ever endless tears
And illusions they fly
But someday soon will clear
Just sit back and recline
I'll guide you through the years

Youre The One
(with jennifer holliday)
When I was a child
I cried on mamas shoulder
She would look at me and say:
When you grow older
You will come to know
The joy and love of one good man
Everything will come in time
If you believe it
Anything you truly want
You can echive it
Picture the love youll find
With one good man
Some day a price will come your way
Hell smile at you and say
Hes waited all his life
For someone like you
And if the love is real
Within you heart youll feel
Im yours for life
Cuz youre the one
Youre the one
Youre the one
Youre the one
Youre the one for me
Many years have past away since mama told me
I hadnt find a man
To love, to have and hold me
There where many men
But not of them one good man
I began to dout that I would
Find my true love
But then at one noon it happened
I found you, love
You were like a dream come true
You were that one good man
Some day a price will come your way
Hell smile at you and say
Hes waited all his life
For someone like you
And if the love is real
Within you heart youll feel
Im yours for life
Cuz youre the one
Youre the one
Youre the one
Youre the one
Youre the one for me
Its true, I knew from that day on
My lonely days were gone
Those lonely tears Ive cried
Since you are by my side
Now and forever more
Youll be with me
And we will love
You are my everything
When I was a child I cried
On mamas shoulder
She would look at me and say:
When you grow older
Youll find a man to love
And now I see that
Youre the one
Youre the one
Youre the one
Youre the one for me

Sometimes
Isn't it like me
to want to say
things I can't explain ...
in simple ways?
Why should I be sane?
Why can't I be crazy?
Sometimes I'm up,
sometimes I'm down,
I choke on words,
and make no sound.
Sometimes
Sometimes I'm weak
sometimes I'm strong
living with the fear I don't belong
Sometimes
Why is it so hard
to know myself?
Underneath this skin you'll find
someone else.
Don't be so surprised
when you look inside me
inside me
Sometimes It's black
sometimes It's white
you hide behind electric light
Sometimes
Sometimes I swear
sometimes I pray
suddenly the guilty disobey
Sometimes
Sometimes I'm weak
sometimes I'm strong
living with the fear I don't belong
Sometimes
Sometimes I stand
sometimes I fall
I throw myself against the wall
Sometimes
Sometimes I sink
sometimes I swim
tell me why my world is caving in
Sometimes
Sometimes it's sweet
sometimes it's raw
trying to get so high like I did before
Sometimes
Sometimes in love
sometimes in hate
sometimes it's all a big mistake
Sometimes

I Fall I Cry But Again and Again I Try!
The life goes on
Things finds an end
Soon or late
Everything will end
Nothing and no one lasts to the end
Life never waits there
Till you ease your pain
Days run so fast
At once you'll find out the years have passed
And every dream of your just became a past
Today is your's somehow you have to find your way home
Tomorrow where and how you will be
No one can know
So live it the best
No one deserves to cry for them till the end
The one who hurts, destroys and goes
Never deserves your tears
Don't let them to take away your years
The life is more precious than the love
We live just once
How silly I was at the past
The life never stops there for someone's sake.
The life goes on and things change
The life is valuable so I have to change
I can once again find my way
No one is unforgettable i've learned it
No one is unresistable now I know it.
The life is more precious than you love.
I fall I cry but again and again I try!
And I walk to find my way once again!

The Master Of My Pen, The Author Of My Woe
The master of my pen, the author of my woe
My loves sorrow, my love's flower morose
In my night dreams, in strange light show
An apparition of dead love, her ghastly ghost
O! Love dead! To me thou love still grow
And dampen my dreams, with serious tears
Awakening my unconscious to my conscious flow
Insinuating thy sweet sorrow into my love's fears
Thou art dead, and the sadness I feel
Is the sadness thou art, for thou cannot love me again
For thy hand is as weak as air, thou art not real
Only real in my emotive river, of lasting pain
My love, my love, thou became my love only
For thou art dead and I am sorrowfully lonely…

Dreaming Reality
In the real world, as in dreams,
Nothing is quite as it seems.
To see what we have never seen,
To be what we have never been,
To shed the chrysalis, learn to fly,
Depart the earth, kiss the sky,
To be reborn, be someone new,
Is this a dream or is it true?
Is my life in fact a dream?
Are things not always as they seem?
Are daylight hours reality,
Or do I dream eternally?
In the dream world or the real,
We cannot know what we can't feel.
What is not a dream by day,
Comes to us at night to stay.
Dreams - vivid colors of life,
Or fleeting, obscure, murky strife?
Façade of reality brings,
To the mind, exquisite things:
Love, regret, memories, cheer,
Imagination, even fear.
The lives we live appear, it seems,
To be a dream within a dream.
A long dream of hopeless sorrow,
I'll dream my life again tomorrow.

Never Wore A Gun Before
Never wore a gun before
A plane in the fog, oh wait those are clouds Im talking about
The suitcase in my hand and the way I have to walk
Those are empty smiles, empty eyes Im looking in
Times are over when it was difficult to say
It took some time but I know its just right now
So just a little word about whats really going on
If you want to take that as my way
To say goodbye to you as these red nights must go on
I was rich and I was poor
Didnt do the things I had to do
I was strong and I was weak
Was not the girl I tried to be
I was lost and I was found
He earned money you couldnt count
But I never wore a gun before
I never wore a gun before
He left the chamber but these times are over
Shes got
Shes got more than four weeks to be herself
Hes playin with fire and looks around on this world
Oh I love them and the plane in the fog
I was brave and I had fear
I did things...oh my dar
I was strong and I was weak
Was not the girl I tried to be
I was up and I was down
He thought the things to the ground
But I never wore a gun before
I never wore a gun before
I never wore a gun before
Never wore a gun before
I was brave and I had fear
I did things...oh my dear
I never wore a gun before
I was brave and I had fear

Early Works - Our Love (The Dreams) Part 2
Throughout all creation
lovers have dabbled in the past
never really knowing
what they are looking for
or are likely to find,
I like all the rest
have never found peace,
which should come with sleep.
Even in a dream world
I search and search
for an empty promise
that was never kept
and never will be.
For I am a dreamer
and dreamers never find
the true love that awaits them
at the end of a dream.
My life is wasted
dreaming of improbable causes
that never bud and blooms
like the flowers in spring and summer.
I’m hurt every time I fall
only because a fool like me
never really deserves love
that could make me free of endless dreams.
After my fruitless searches,
I find a true love,
yet cannot fall
in case she hurts me.
For one more scar
cut into my heart
would surely end my life.
So near the womb of love
I must linger
but never enter
for upon entering and falling
I would surely lose all
and losing all is the dread I fear.
