Do Not!
Do not despair of man, and do not scold him,
Who are you that you should so lightly hold him?
Are you not also a man, and in your heart
Are there not warlike thoughts and fear and smart?
Are you not also afraid and in fear cruel,
Do you not think of yourself as usual,
Faint for ambition, desire to be loved,
Prick at a virtuous thought by beauty moved?
You love your wife, you hold your children dear,
Then say not that Man is vile, but say they are.
But they are not. So is your judgement shown
Presumptuous, false, quite vain, merely your own
Sadness for failed ambition set outside,
Made a philosophy of, prinked, beautified
In noble dress and into the world sent out
To run with the ill it most pretends to rout.
Oh know your own heart, that heart's not wholly evil,
And from the particular judge the general,
If judge you must, but with compassion see life,
Or else, of yourself despairing, flee strife.

Might Be Your Love
Written by dewey bunnell, 1980
Found on alibi.
Sometimes when youre there all alone
Someone will call you at home
You dont want to but pick up the phone
Might be your love
Might be your heart
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Someone who you thought would belong
Came passing, moved right along
You dont know why but something went wrong
Might be your love
Might be your heart
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Someone to hold you, someone to hold
Someone to hold you, someone to hold
Some girl who you watched at her desk
Came dancing on with her dress
And she looked up and wouldnt you guess
She might be your love
Might be your heart
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Might be your love (might be your love)
Might be your heart (might be your heart)
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
(someone to hold you)
Might be your love (someone to hold)
Might be your heart (someone to hold you)
Might be your love (someone to hold)
Might be your love (might be your love)
Might be your heart (might be your heart)
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Might be your love (might be your love)
Might be your heart (might be your heart)
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark
Might be your love (might be your love)
Might be your heart (might be your heart)
Someone to hold you
All alone in the dark ...

The Human Heart I (From he Holy Bible)
The human heart thinks evil all the time;
God's heart regretted for His making man;
Yet, He loved him most of creatures, He made;
He felt sorry from heart for His Deluge!
Man's heart longs for a wife as per his thoughts;
Pharaoh's heart hardened despite God's signs;
It does not yield to Moses' warning, threats,
And harden's more, when God gives him relief!
Man's heart hardens each time when God is kind;
Like Pharaoh, he fails to keep his promise;
He lapses back to sin when threats are gone;
Man's heart in remorse fills only when late!
God wants man's heart to stay most pure always;
The sound of a falling leaf can instill fear!
God wants man not to fulfill his heart's lusts;
Let heart fear God and keep all His commands!
Let hate and pride not grow and engulf heart;
God wants man to love Him with all his heart;
The Lord keeps testing man's heart to prove love;
Let heart not love the world, be led astray!
May heart of man worship the one true God;
Obey the Lord in everything He tells;
Rejoice by heart and render thanks to Him;
The God who changed Saul's heart, can all men's!

How Things Are
away i fall to you
to stay silent no more
anyone with a clue wouldn't do as i've done
but the fear that you know is the fear you become to love
i want to say
i want to go
i'm so afraid
to be alone
all right, it's time for the truth
my love means more than i ever will
anyone this confused needs someone show them the way to
if i just find the strength to forget myself
i want it all
i want nothing
i'm so afraid
i'm so afraid
i want to stay
i want to go
i'm so afraid
to be alone
is this how my life is supposed to be
it's not enough, but too much for my heart to hold
is this how my life is supposed to be
it's not enough, but too much for my heart to hold

Please Come Back
Please come back.
Without your love my soul I lack.
I can not take this empty void,
in fear I live.
Come hold me close,
hold me up my loving dear emotional post.
You're the only one my heart holds true.
All the others can not compare to you.
Please come back and I'll be true.
To all the promises I made to you.
My heart aches firece without you here.
Please hear me out and I'll erase all doubt.
That I am a liar or untrue.
Show to all it's only you.
So please come back and be my wife.
I guarantee the happiest life.
Beautiful children, endless love.
Destiny ordained from up above.

I Fear Everything, My Dear
I fear everything, my dear,
Though I am sad to say.
I fear many a thing, my love,
Regretfully you among them.
I fear all emotions of life, my sweet,
They cloud better judgement.
I fear, I'm sad to say this dear,
But I can never love you,
No matter how much I want to.
I fear everything, my dear,
Though I wish it wasn't so.
I fear many things, my love,
And you scare me as well.
For I fear all emotions, my sweet,
And you make my heart sing.
But I can never show my weakness,
That my biggest fear of all,
Is ever losing you.

A Fear Through Words
It is through fear I write this
Through fear I dare not speak these words
Or name the muse of who I pen them to
I hold a gentle and honest love to my heart
Such a love as yet untried and unknown
What good are my words when I cannot speak them
To my muse so beautiful so sweet, so divine
I fear I may lose them so completely
That I stay silent, bide my words so well
And watch with abject despair
My muse, object of my whole desire
Grow more distant with each passing day
And I fear I may lose all together
By speaking these words, these cursed words
I asked myself once, what I search for
Is it what I want or what I need in life
And there I saw my muse, a world of beauty
More than I could imagine or ask for
A gentle heart and loving nature
Those warm soothing eyes I look to
Do not see me as I would wish
I fear if they were to, see my innermost soul
My passion and my love for them
They would turn away and be lost completely
Which is why I write with fear
These words I dare not speak

Vision
You Fear that lives;
Oh! What can happen next
Tomorrow: behind the eyes;
Behind the deep far skies;
As the sea- bottom is-
Silent and motionless.
You Fear that melts the heart
Where is my heart
Where in my heart it dwells?
Oh what a sorrow:
To be disabled to see the morrow!
Much worse: a vision in vain.
To see the coming end in a glance
And gaze waiting for it!
(my first poem: now I see I was afraid of life; human feelings; but fear of life is not good; now I am going to fear nothing)

Vita pro meus Leo-amo angelus
Fear not the world, my Leonine…
Fear not the silent times between.
Fear not the chance of loneliness,
fear not that love could whither yon.
Cometh hither, my Leonine…
Cometh to promised snow,
Cometh and see the world!
Cometh to mine promise kept.
Hold on to thy heart, my Leonine.
Hold on to thy gifts from Him.
Hold on to me, hold on to honour.
Hold on! For the right ones will come.
Fear not the world, my Leonine,
Fear not the possibilities that it holds.
Fear not that love will whither:
Fear not the extinct chance of loneliness.

We Often Hold
We often hold non-violence so dear
When it is violence that we fear
We often hold honesty so dear
When it is dishonesty that we fear
We often hold love so dear
When it is hatred that we fear
We often hold chastity so dear
When it is society that we fear
We often hold things so dear
When it is fear that we fear

My Biggest Fear
I have this feeling it’s called fear
I have the fear of who will be dying or will I be next?
If I stop think about “how can I have myself prepare? “.
This fear is consuming me.
It’s like stealing something from me.
I don’t know what it is….
How to deal with it
I want to see it........
Can anyone help me to see?
Does this feeling go away?
Are these feelings real or fake.
I also have a fear of not achieving my dreams
That thought makes me want to scream.
I have Fear of my life.Every day that’s not much
I could say on that, I try give it my strife
The real world gives me fear too.
Sometimes, “I wish everything would disappear
Instead appear into fear”.
The Fear of losing my mother before I am ready to let her go.
What road do I take so I won’t let fear win.
Fear takes my thoughts of losing my husband, and
losing one of my children too.
Even though, I almost did loose a child.
I can let the fear, do what it is doing..
I fear of losing my dearest friend.
I am sorry I cant pretend that fear is not here.
The fear of my own death and the cause of it will be?
I don’t want to see.
The fear of my lifestyle should it be the way it should be lived?
or should it be change?
Do I dear change it, but how?
I know that I have a fear of being alone.
It’s the unknown
Is My Biggest Fear

My True Love Hath My Heart, And I Have His
My true-love hath my heart, and I have his,
By just exchange, one for the other giv'n.
I hold his dear, and mine he cannot miss;
There never was a better bargain driv'n.
His heart in me keeps me and him in one,
My heart in him his thoughts and senses guides;
He loves my heart, for once it was his own;
I cherish his, because in me it bides.
His heart his wound received from my sight:
My heart was wounded with his wounded heart;
For as from me, on him his hurt did light,
So still me thought in me his hurt did smart:
Both equal hurt, in this change sought our bliss:
My true love hath my heart and I have his.

I Hold A Heart
I carry a heart with me here
Never in vengeance, anger or fear
Only love comes from the heart I hold
No betrayal, fear or anger, so I'm told
I've held this heart for many years
Threw the anger heart ache and tears
Beside the troubles that lie ahead
I will hold this heart instead

Victory Waltz
Come take me down to your heart of gold, and I will hear your song.
Cover me up in your fantasy world, where I can do you no harm.
And hold me now close to you.
Fear the thoughts I am sending.
Hold me now close again.
This dream is almost ending.
Come take me down to your victory waltz, and I will break your heart.
Gaze once again at the promise we made, that I have torn all apart.
And hold me now close to you.
As though were still pretending.
Hold me now close again.
This dream is almost ending.

Code Orange Code Red
Code Orange Code Red, today these warnings echo throughout our land,
But these warnings just focus our attention on the wickedness of man.
Look and see how we have let sin and immorality prosper in our land,
Should we not be more concerned about God's Righteous Uplifted Hand?
The fears from wars and rumors of wars are simply a sign of the end,
However, the extent of man's wickedness is indeed limited my friend.
Why have such fears of man who can only kill the body but do no more?
And fear not The Lord who can assign you to Eternal Hell forevermore.
Man continues to kill because of his depraved heart filled with sin,
But God must judge wickedness, because of His Righteousness within.
My friend, if you just humble your heart and fear God instead of man,
Through His Spirit He will open your eyes to His Loving Eternal Plan.
God's Will is for all to come to repentance and through Him be saved,
However, God must still judge those who remain wicked and depraved.
You can continue to fear man and have your heart filled with strife,
Or repent and accept Christ in your heart, and receive Eternal Life.
I don't fear any man, for at death I shall be present with The Lord,
With no fear of God, you'll live without Him, this you can't afford.
Life on this earth is quite brief, while Eternal Life is quite long,
So don't continue fearing man, only to find out you were wrong.

I Am Not A Woman...
I am not a woman that loves with a heart
I am not a woman that's silly and smart
I am not a woman with open wounds
I am not a woman that's more attuned
I am not a woman that you hold dear
I am not a woman that has no fear
I am not a woman that's loved or lost
I am not a woman that doesn't know the cost
I am not a woman that's hurting inside
I am not a woman that has no foolish pride
I am not a woman that can't look you in the eye
I am not a woman alone that cries
I am not a woman that's imprisoned with chains
I am not a woman that holds her will in vain
I am not a woman, or mother, or friend
or wife, or daughter, or one to depend
I am not a woman of all and more
Because I gave it away to the one I adore
what's left is all you see
Just a woman that truly believes
Chanson d’Amour
This absence from my own country’s
So long, it brings me to death’s door,
I languish here, beyond the sea,
Weary, in comfort and joy no more,
And I greatly fear that enemy
Who slanders me: I wronged endure,
Yet feel my heart so true and pure,
Please God, no harm will come to me.
Sweet Lady mine, don’t believe
Those who speak of me in malice.
Though you no longer look at me
With those sweet eyes that took me captive,
Me, with your true heart, you’ll still see.
But whether it urges you so to live
I know not: of all things fearing this
Alone: lest you not remember me.
For lightness in the hearts of women
Often strikes fear in the hearts of men,
Though loyalty stops me from despairing:
Without it I’d soon be dead and gone!
And you know that True Love’s coming
Causes lovers such fear, no one
Who ever loves is ever certain,
And false the love that is un-fearing.
My heart comforts me and destroys me,
But it’s right that I should think of her,
And the fear she might be lost to me,
Makes me doubly thoughtful of her.
So my solace only comes to flee,
Yet thinking always of my lover,
To my mind, as you would discover,
Is always a true delight to me.
Song, I send you to my Lady,
Before a single one has sung you,
And you must say to her from me,
(Let it not stay a hidden truth)
‘If in Faith there’s no treachery,
Of treason in Loyalty no proof,
Then I’ll have what’s owed to me,
Since with loyal heart I’ve loved you.’

Adopted (story)
There’s a tale that I must tell
Of a heart that I knew quite well.
This heart dwelled within her chest
And had given its very best.
Love and compassion had filled this heart
But it was taken advantage of from the start.
This love and compassion was given
Freely to children in pain
But to the adoption agencies
It was just a game.
“ sell the child to the highest bidder”
You work for us - we have no quitters!
Take them for all the money that you can
This is part of the company plan.
And promise them what you must
For in us they put their trust.
If they want a particular type of child
Then they will have to wait a while.
We can give them what they want
If the price is right.
But it will not be overnight.
If they just want a child, and there
Is no preference to how it must be.
We will fill the contract gladly.
We have black children, white children
Oriental too.
We’ll do what we must - to satisfy you.
Now her heart was overflowing
And she knew where she was going.
She went to the D C S where her
case she would rest.
The Department of Children s Services was
Already building a case, because
Of so many civilian complaints.
Now with the case pending
Where to place them, the judge was rendering.
“ I will take them if I can, for I have more
Than enough land.
I have a ranch with more than enough rooms
Give them to me it’s not too soon.
Do a background check, which I know you must
For in the system I put my trust.
One month later, they was living under their roof
For the courts had gotten the proof.
She raised the children like her own
And to the courts it was shown.
Now she can share her heart, and the children
Can have a brand new start.

My Heart Will Go On (Titanic Theme) - Celine Dion
Every night in my dreams,
I see you, I feel you,
That is how I know you go on.
Far across the distance,
And spaces between us,
You have come to show you go on.
Near, far, wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more you open the door,
And you're here in my heart,
And my heart will go on and on.
Love can touch us one time,
And last for a lifetime,
And never let go till we're one.
Love was when I loved you,
One true time I hold to,
In my life we'll always go on.
Near, far, wherever you are,
I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more you open the door,
And you're here in my heart,
And my heart will go on and on.
There is some love that will not go away.
You're here, there's nothing I fear,
And I know that my heart will go on.
We'll stay forever this way,
You are safe in my heart,
And my heart will go on and on.

Ain't That A Lot Of Love (feat. Simply Red)
Words and music by Willa Dean Parker and Homer Banks
I know the desert cant hold all the love
that I feel in my heart for you, yeah
If I could spread it out across the sea
I know my love would cork it up
Aint that a lot of love
For one heart to hold
If the bees only knew how sweet you are, Baby
They would seal up their honey comb
If the birds could hear how sweet your voice is
They would tighten up the song
Aint that a lot of love
For one heart to hold
Your lips are so sweet
Honey, youre my every need
You got a smile so rare
A love like yours I just cant compare
Aint that a lot of love
For one heart to hold
If the cook in the kitchen had a touch as hot as yours
They wouldnt need a fire
I cant think of a word that describes your love better
Than the sky above
Aint that a lot of love
For one heart to hold
Yeah
Aint that a lot of love
Aint that a lot of love
For one heart to hold
One heart to hold
One heart to hold
One heart to hold
Aint that a lot of love
Aint that a lot of love
One heart to hold
One heart to hold
Aint that a lot of love
Aint that a lot of love
For one heart to hold
Oh thats a lot of love
Lot of love
Sounds like a lot of love
Sounds like a lot of love
For one heart to hold
For one heart to hold

I Will Fear No More
I will fear no more of a love that I might lose or never had.
I will fear no more of a life that was not meant to be for me.
I will fear no more of a touch that I never felt.
I will fear no more for I will not permit it to get into my heart.
I will not fear that other woman that has taken my place.
I will fear no more of a broken heart for I am not easy to replace.
I will fear no more of what was or what could have been that is long gone.
My heart can not have fear for I am a child of God and he tells me to fear no more.
