Vision
In the raw air of crystal dawn
the sun devours waning night
with dragon-song,
and rises to cerulean heights
to the vaulting domes
of eternal sight.

Dark limitless plain - Dawn corrals night

Time Travel Fantasy
My head is in the forest
And Im thinking about you
The mist is pulling lightly on the timber
My thoughts are of the forest
And Im sure Im not in view
Of anyone but the dragon
And the prince of song
I cannot see the daytime
For my head is in the night
The fog is gently swaying on the moor now
I hardly know the difference
>from the dark into the light
Since I was with the dragon
Its been far too long
My feet cant keep my thoughts
>from running out on me this time
The haze is passing fully cross the skyline
Wheres the girl to hold me
To the boundaries of my mind
Princess with bag of crystal
Thats where I belong
Now will my head stay with the night
And watch the chance I take
All the dew has gathered on the heather
Will I go to sleep again
Or will I stay awake
Let me linger with the dragon
And the prince of song

God’s Eternal Light
As the rain falls from the sky, we don’t reason or wonder why,
Not questioning The Lord at all, how or when the rain must fall.
We simply accept His provision, from the storm as it is driven,
By The Lord’s Almighty Hand, across the vastness of our land.
Like the sun that shines above, something seldom we think of,
Yet the sun is there dawn to night, even when it is out of sight,
Within a sky which is overcast, until the storm clouds are past,
As God goes about His way, controlling all throughout the day.
And even the moon fazes us not, as it rises to its evening spot,
Waxing and waning into the night, as it courses through twilight.
Monthly it displays its full face, raised high up in its lofty place,
Although the lesser of two lights, it’s the guardian of our nights.
They all flow in all seasons, for God’s purpose and His reasons,
With the rains turning to snow, where those cold winds do blow,
All a part of God’s Eternal plan, as God’s witness to every man,
Providing testimony in Creation, for His witness to every nation.
And God’s Witness of Creation, is to point a world to Salvation,
Provided by the very Creator, who came to earth to be a Savior.
The two lights that have endured, shall be replaced by The Lord,
This, when the Light for everyone, will be the Lord’s Eternal Son.

Devour
The present devours
the past
The hate that devours
love
Anger that devours
you
Hope devoured by
despair
Night devouring
day
And day devouring
night
The moon devouring
The landscape
These poems like flames
Devouring
me.
My mind devours
me.
Now is my revenge
I devour
You.

Dragon's Wrath
Dragon's Wrath
The Dragon's wrath
It burns my soul
It takes my breath away
And in its shadow
I will hide
Until the break of day.
And on that mourn
When dawn is born
I'll make my get away
I'll climb to heights
With all my might
And leaping from
The highest mount
My soul will take its flight.
I'll soar above
The earth so free
In sweetest revere
And look upon the earth below
The Dragon I will see.
And fearlessly I will soar
For I will finally see
This beast of dreams
And earth bound schemes
Has no power over me.

Fog's Gone
Fog's gone, the sky rises
to steaming heights
sheds hot silver to gleaming bay
thin lines of fire spreading
through the blue, hazy day.
From this hill I see
how space
to white space fades
and bold day strides to night.
Fog's back
to block my hobbled sight.

Losing Again
If erupts again –
the eternal hate of caucuses.
A pipe bomb detonates in a gulley.
Death glides as a superman
like a mutiny in the bowl.
Night stumbles against the kissing moon
on the shore of waning hope.
I will not mourn for my color
I am still nursing a grief.
Walking alone in the shadow of walls
to unhear the screams of dawn.

Pale Morning Sun
Pale morning sun that rises in the east,
Spread wide your light,
And let the warming blush be thus increased,
To shine more bright.
Welcome the dawn and so enhance the sky,
With colours that unite,
A vision there displayed, food for the eye,
Quick changing sight.
A new day now unfolds, and in its glow,
The scene is quite
Breathtaking. Subtle shades soft and mellow,
Just fine and right.
Pale morning sun, that rises, burn more strong,
And so invite,
Nature to call awake the melody of birdsong,
From out the night.

Upon the Lawn - 0088 - Initial Version
Upon the lawn there lay last night
a crystal carpet, cotton white,
soon morn shall dawn with golden ray
and spirit all the snow away.
Yet with a little luck we might
enjoy the sight and share delight,
and if snow thaws, as well it may,
we know we will recall this day.

Dreeka Dragon’s Crown
Cold blue ice rain falling down,
falling on the dragon’s crown,
Making it sparkle and shimmer real bright,
the rain keeps pouring all through the night.
When Dragon Queen wakes up to see,
she notices crown has one but three,
three stones that where placed there last night,
placed in the crown very just right.
Placed by an elf that is the keeper at the gate,
he is the one who will see the dragon’s fate.
For he knows where the potion is that will break her spell,
he was there the night in which it fell.
For now dragon is waiting against time,
where she will one day rule in her kingdom divine.

To John Keats
Great master! Boyish, sympathetic man!
Whose orbed and ripened genius lightly hung
From life's slim, twisted tendril and there swung
In crimson-sphered completeness; guardian
Of crystal portals through whose openings fan
The spiced winds which blew when earth was young,
Scattering wreaths of stars, as Jove once flung
A golden shower from heights cerulean.
Crumbled before thy majesty we bow.
Forget thy empurpled state, thy panoply
Of greatness, and be merciful and near;
A youth who trudged the highroad we tread now
Singing the miles behind him; so may we
Faint throbbings of thy music overhear.

The Dragon and the Phoenix (version two) :
The Dragon and the Phoenix (version two) :
The Tiger lies in a mist, shrouded in mystery.
Who is she, what is her purpose?
The Dragon lies upon a cloud, covered by time.
Who is he, what is his purpose?
The cloud and Dragon descend into the mist as the moon rises, meshing together.
The Tiger prowls through cloud and mist; the Dragon growls, wary of this new creature in his midst.
Startled by the new noise in her domain the Tiger hisses and tenses.Silver eyes meet those of green, stillness ensues.
'Why does it not attack, this beast of the forest? ' he thinks.
'Will this being from the skies run or strike? ' she thinks.
The Dragon becomes stone still, waiting, for what he knows not.
'Does this armored creature of flight even live? ' she wonders.
The Tiger slowly lays a paw against the Dragon's scaly hide, sparks of blue fly from the point of contact, the Tiger jumps back with a howl of surprise. 'What is this magic? ! ' she cries.
The Dragon's face becomes filled with the expression of joy 'Yin! ' cries he. The Tiger freezes in shock 'Yang? At last, we can be one once again! '
The Dragon drew a great breath and breathed the fires of his love unto the Tiger, from her ashes arose a mighty Phoenix.. A great cry of joy sounded through the night, a cry of joy: 'Forever one are we! Together in the skies for all eternity shall we be! '

Natural Artistry
Natural artistry
The onion domes against the sky
by morning light blush rosily.
Before the sun has risen high.
Resplendent in his majesty.
He paints the domes with gleaming gold.
Without finesse but lavishly.
His whole approach is overbold.
I prefer delicacy..
The pastel shades that I could see
before the blazing sun applied
his crude form of artistry
and hid the beauty from my eyes.
With coats of gold he misapplied,
that he believes mistakenly.
Will be pleasing to the eyes
of the vast majority.
Who only value opulence.
I could be wrong he may be right.
But I prefer the evidence
which is provided by my eyes.
Te golden glow the sun supplies
to onion domes is transient.
Although pleasing to most men’s eyes,
an artists eyes are different.
I keep my vigil faithfully
though I confess impatiently.
Tomorrow morning I shall see.
The onion domes bathed in beauty.
Before the sun can brutalise
with crass insensitivity.
The pastel colours dawn applies
to onion domes against the skies.

Song: Night And Day
Any day and any night,
By astral planes or sattelite,
With psychic means, you fly my kite;
In ways I can't discern.
Any night or any day,
I'll see the light, if you let me stay.
Any night or any day,
Just as the planet turns.
Any night and any day,
I shoot the stars, with feet of clay,
And take a chance, come what may,
Any night and day.
Any day and any night,
And in between, the dim twilight,
In lusting spark, my wick ignites,
Any day and night.
Any night and any day,
I'm on my knees, but not to pray.
The rites of spring, an easy lay.
Any night and day.
Any day and any night,
I summon demon, imp and sprite,
Who gather like, wild neophytes.
Any day and night.
Any night and any day.
Shall we hit the heights, in passion's play?
For dawn excites, as senses splay;
Any night and day.
Any day and any night,
My missiles arc, in flawless flight.
Any day and any night,
Will I crash and burn?
Any night and any day,
Such sweet imaginings display.
You pluck my strings; I'm in your sway.
Any day and night.
Any day and any night,
No less the hero, than shining knight,
Would storm your ramparts of delight,
And ram advantage home.
Any day and any night,
This toxic spawn of funk and fright,
Would ask his lover, in respite,
'Just when will you return? '
Any day and any night:
Intriging wings of plot and sleight,
Would frame the world, within my sight.
When will I ever learn?

Autumn Night
leaves change color
the cool breeze flies
the song of the leaves roars
rustles and bustles in the brush
birds begin to sing to the south
sky turns red as the sun sets on an Autumn evening
clouds not white but pink
coco and cookies all around
coats and children surround
the fire of life
roads and streets quiet
what a sound, what a sight
what a wonderful Autumn night
marsh mellows in fire places
smoke of warmth fills the night sky
sweet Autumn night
make the stars shine bright
the sun rises
the moon disappears
stars that once shone
are now gone
what a night
what a sight
please Autumn day
bring one more

Rap
early morn
the poet rises.
Words at night
that had no rap
reveal at dawn
surprises.
Melody returns.
Dimmed by days advance,
song returns to morning,
words begin to dance.

Every Rose Has Its Thorn
[Originally by Poison]
We both lie silently still in the dead of the night
Although we both lie close together
We feel miles apart inside
Was it somethin' I said or somethin' I did
Did my words not come out right
Tho' I tried not to hurt you
Tho' I tried
But I guess that's why they say
Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn
Yea it does
I listen to your favorite song playin' on the radio
Hear the DJ say love's a game of
Easy come and easy go
But I wonder does he know
Has it ever felt like this
And I know that you'd be here right now
If I could have let you know somehow I guess
Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn
Though it's been a while now
I can still feel so much pain
Like the knife that cuts you
The wound heals, but the scar, that scar remains
Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn
So I hear you've found somebody new
And that I never meant that much to you
To hear that tears me up inside
And to see you cuts me like a knife, I guess
Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

The Last Ode
Nov. 27, 8 B.C. Horace, BK. V. Ode 31
As watchers couched beneath a Bantine oak,
Hearing the dawn-wind stir,
Know that the present strength of night is broke
Though no dawn threaten her
Till dawn's appointed hour--so Virgil died,
Aware of change at hand, and prophesied
Change upon all the Eternal Gods had made
And on the Gods alike--
Fated as dawn but, as the dawn, delayed
Till the just hour should strike--
A Star new-risen above the living and dead;
And the lost shades that were our loves restored
As lovers, and for ever. So he said;
Having received the word...
Maecenas waits me on the Esquiline:
Thither to-night go I....
And shall this dawn restore us, Virgil mine
To dawn? Beneath what sky?

Dark Love
It is a night of darkness, a song of blood,
wolves vent their pain. The dark one
rises.
Evil shrouds her deathly form,
an eternal wrath.
Her raven hair cascades over
pale shoulders, and her
full blood red lips part slightly, to taste the
darkness streaming from the
pale flesh beneath
her.
Now a night of ecstasy,
I remember her.

Beauty Rises
Beauty rises
Stars set black
As dawn awakens
The unyielding skies
Beauty rises
From slumbers grasp
Drinks coffee
Dons her mask
Beauty rises
To meet the day
Another away
Another day
