The Screamers
The men who screamed the most had amputated legs;
The men who screamed the least had only bad haircuts;
In between
The eyeless socket-men roared instead of wept.
The earless bloody-necked men shouted dully;
The armless twitching men sniffed the air;
The castrated men lay in total silence, peering off into space.
The official men in their prefabricated buildings
Toasted their savior with much vodka, straightening their uniforms,
Singing merrily into the delightful night.

Screamed!
Screamed, sear, ear, cream, deem, seam, seed, sad, creed, me;
And like 4 wheels on your love,
But she screamed for joy! !
Screamed, deer, reed, dear, read, red, an, am, as, med, are, sea;
And like the muse of love closer to you!
But let your words be true always on this love.

The Death Penalty
Bring back the death penalty screamed a lady as the blood ran, dripping from the cold concrete as her sons blood fled from its body. Bring back, bring back the death penalty screamed a mother as her child dies slowly watching the pools of life fade away from his eyes.
Bring back, bring back the death penalty screamed a mother while she watched her child being killed by the hands of another man, bring back the death penalty.
Bring back the death penalty as she screamed holding her dying child while he laid his last words and breath upon her chest. Bring back the death penalty she screamed in mercy so that she will so that she will no longer have to hold any more of her dying sons and lay them in graves before she lays in her own.
Bring back the death penalty she screamed as her sons soul left his body and he became another victim to a violent society. Bring back the death penalty, bring back our sons.

When The Walls Came Tumbling Down
On the first day of the first month in some distant year
The whole sky froze golden
Some said it was the aftermath of the radium bomb
While others told of a final retribution
A terrible revenge of the gods
But we understood the grand finale
Fulfillment of a prophecy told many years before
So all that was left was...
All the women were captured and chained
And national suicide was proclaimed
And New America fell to the ground
And all the children lay crippled and lame
But all the nations came together
In fear of the thought of the end
No more would we fight in the streets
No courage had we to defend
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound
A blinding light the sun had died
A new moon took its place
Tidal waves and open graves the fate of the unhuman race
The city's heart no longer beats no pity have I left to lend
A sinner sits reciting Dylan it's now that I welcome the end
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Everybody ran as they screamed at the sound
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
When the walls came tumbling down
Nobody made a sound
Down

There was a Young Lady of Russia,
Who screamed so that no one could hush her;
Her screams were extreme,--
No one heard such a scream
As was screamed by that Lady from Russia.

Haiti Survivor
The earth shook
And the buildings collapsed
She and her friends were trapped
Total eclipse.
Light left no trace
In darkness she heard
herself and her friends
crying, sobbing, moaning
in pain so unbearable to bear.
She could not move her legs
Only her hands could touch
a stone, wanting to embrace
her friends but she could not.
Dusts filled her lungs
She coughed, yes, they coughed.
They continued to sob and moan
She screamed calling for help
She yelled in all despair
but nobody heard her.
Those outside had to survive
They were running to find
shelter from the after shocks.
They were pulling bodies
of those whose legs and hands
they could see and touch
But she and her friends were trapped
Down deep in the ruins of dark dungeon.
One week passed
The voices of her friends
were heard no more
Two weeks and three days passed
And there was no voice for her to shout.
She prayed, she slept, she dreamed
She saw light, she saw herself
willing to start a new life
Then she woke up
to this new dream, to this last hope
and to this new lease of life.
With the last hope in her voice
She cried for help again
And her last voice echoed
to the ears of the French rescuers
Then slowly the light entered
Her will to live on won.
Out from the ruins and rubbles,
she was pulled out from total eclipse
to the full shining lights of sun and moon.

Rape! ! !
Daddy where were you when I screamed your name?
Mommy was drunk I didnt know what to do
Her boyfriend came in and took me to a room
The things he did to me I didnt understand at the time
It hurt, I cried I screamed for help but he covered my mouth
And there I was left at the age of 7 laying on the bed in blood
So from then on I knew that I experenced rape
Yes im not a virgin and its not because of what happend over
the summer, its what happend at night in a black cold room at
the age of '7' and it was called
RAPE! ! ! ! ! !

Bloody red
Bloody red, she screamed her lungs out
Crawling and shouting for help, in pain
The morning turns dark and grey for her
Bloody red, clothes are burnt and
House is broken home, no where to go
Take a look around and all you see is hate
Bloody red, the lies turn white and
Skins ripped off, this is a reason
For broken wings of an angel
Bloody red, I scream for happiness to come
No one can hear me, please lord
Just listen to my prayer
Red! I'm dying here tonight in your arms
Your my assasin for life and this is my sweet dream
I'm all yours for life, dear pain..

Gold and Love for Dearie
Out on the mountain over the town,
All night long, all night long,
The trolls go up and the trolls go down,
Bearing their packs and singing a song;
And this is the song the hill-folk croon,
As they trudge in the light of the misty moon--
This is ever their dolorous tune:
'Gold, gold! ever more gold--
Bright red gold for dearie!'
Deep in the hill a father delves
All night long, all night long;
None but the peering, furtive elves
Sees his toil and hears his song;
Merrily ever the cavern rings
As merrily ever his pick he swings,
And merrily ever this song he sings:
'Gold, gold! ever more gold--
Bright red gold for dearie!'
Mother is rocking thy lowly bed
All night long, all night long,
Happy to smooth thy curly head,
To hold thy hand and to sing her song:
'T is not of the hill-folk dwarfed and old,
Nor the song of thy father, stanch and bold,
And the burthen it beareth is not of gold:
But it 's 'Love, love! nothing but love--
Mother's love for dearie!'

Slow Dance
Well I screamed at mama,
What's that stuff going on
Yeah I screamed at mama
Where did that feeling come from
She said son I don't know what it is
But I know that's where you belong
Mama looked at me,
She smiled me a sunny day
Yeah mama looked at me
Took all my fear away
She said son now I know for sure
What you gonna do one day
It's a slow dance,
Dance of the rythym and blues
It's a slow dance,
Dance of the rythym and blues
Now I screamed at mama,
Mama tell me where did you go
Yeah I screamed for my mama,
Mama tells me what you come to know
I was born with this feeling
And it ain't going to let me go
It's a slow dance,
Dance of the rythym and blues
It's a slow dance,
Dance of the rythym and blues

Freedom
he drank wine all night of the
28th, and he kept thinking of her:
the way she walked and talked and loved
the way she told him things that seemed true
but were not, and he knew the color of each
of her dresses
and her shoes-he knew the stock and curve of
each heel
as well as the leg shaped by it.
and she was out again and when he came home, and
she'd come back with that special stink again,
and she did
she came in at 3 a.m in the morning
filthy like a dung eating swine
and
he took out a butchers knife
and she screamed
backing into the rooming house wall
still pretty somehow
in spite of love's reek
and he finished the glass of wine.
that yellow dress
his favorite
and she screamed again.
and he took up the knife
and unhooked his belt
and tore away the cloth before her
and cut off his balls.
and carried them in his hands
like apricots
and flushed them down the
toilet bowl
and she kept screaming
as the room became red
GOD O GOD!
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
and he sat there holding 3 towels
between his legs
no caring now whether she left or
stayed
wore yellow or green or
anything at all.
and one hand holding and one hand
lifting he poured
another wine

How Time Passed
I told you not to go, but you went anyway
You screamed I love you and I screamed it back
You said I’ll be back before I wake up
Right then and there I started to worry
Staying up all night crying my self to sleep
I heard a cry in the night, but it was just my child
Then a thought struck me he never said good bye
Why wouldn’t you say good night to your son?
In the middle of the night I prayed to god
“Please bring back my husband safely to his family.”
The sun finally rose and my husband hadn’t come home
I drove to his ex house, his mom, friends, and hide out
He was gone and no evidence was around
Fear was in my eyes as I looked at my child
I called all the investigators and police to find my love
They couldn’t find him and I started to cry
That same day I saw you on the news you lost your memory
I rushed down there and gave you a kiss and you said honey is dinner ready
I cried and laugh thinking god you’re still alive
I knew you didn’t disappear or leave us behind

Burnt Hands
Back off! my dearest
for the sparkling jewel that you see
are glittering coal
that could burn your delicate hands
I beg off you, my love
stay away
for your innocence is misleading you
WHY? ? ?
asked innocence
and the questioned remained unanswered
she inquired again; no reply
equipped with faith, she stepped forward
to rescue the misplaced gem; among the burning coal
she advanced with glaring eyes-and hope
patted her shoulder-go on dear
Screamed innocence, as she touched
the gem was equally hot
as hot as any coal
Screamed innocence- I burnt my hands
I burnt my hands, dear faith
it really hurts, she turned to hope
at this ruthless sight
faith was speechless
and hope stood back, ashamed
is this my fate? she questioned
as she glanced at her blistered hands
is this my fate? ? ? ? ? -innocence wept like a child
silence there was
and then a whisper
it will soon heal, my dear
she looked up; with tear shedding eyes
she rushed to embrace hope
faith smiled to himself
O! dear dear innocent innocence
how I wish you to know
you burnt your hands but rescued gem
your fate?
is that you should not know……
for there are infinite gem
to be rescued; by you
yet, you will never know
you will never know
my dear burnt handed innocence
you will never know.

Spring
Sound the flute!
Now it’s mute.
Birds delight
Day and night;
Nightingale
In the dale,
Lark in sky,
Merrily,
Merrily, merrily, to welcome in the year.
Little boy,
Full of joy;
Little girl,
Sweet and small;
Cock does crow,
So do you;
Merry voice,
Infant noise,
Merrily, merrily, to welcome in the year.
Little lamb,
Here I am;
Come and lick
My white neck;
Let me pull
Your soft wool;
Let me kiss
Your soft face;
Merrily, merrily, we welcome in the year.

The Ogre [2]
I had bought two-dozen eggs,
some baking soda, baking meal
along with the other groceries,
beef, chicken, lamb,
vegetables and fruit
and had forgotten
to buy icing sugar
on your command.
I carried the groceries
from the car
and placed them
in the pantry, the fridge,
or where ever they belonged.
You were baking cake
and preparing some cookies
and like a blizzard
went through the shopping bags
searching for items.
Demented, for me forgetting
icing sugar, the ogre
awakened in you
and I saw it peering
through your eyes.
First a glass mixing bowl
went flying to the ground
shattering into pieces of glass
and in shock fascination
I watch you
put a plastic bowl
on a red hot stove plate
before slamming it
right into my face.
I screamed in terror
and tried to wipe
sizzling molten plastic
from my forehead
and cheeks,
(thanking God you missed
my eyes) .
You screamed something
smashing the eggs on the floor
and then somehow
the ogre went back
to the cave
where it was hiding in you
and I knew
what the word maniac
in manic bipolar depression meant.

The Crowd Roared
The crowd roared, the lion roared, another christian faced death,
And one was as hungry as the other for another's final breath.
No tears were shed as he lay dead, no thought, no regret, no sob.
And the slaves and the lion keeper went back to do their job.
The stake was set, the fire burned, the witch screamed for her god
And the crowd of flickering faces cursed the path she trod.
But when night covered their sight they huddled round their hob
And were glad it hadn't been them who'd had to do the job.
The blade fell, the head rolled and madame murder committed,
And the crowd roared while another madame sat and knitted.
But the noise went dead when its terror bred a terror for the mob,
And none cheered too loud after that when madame did her job.
No lion roared, no fire burned, no blade flashed in the sun
But when the crowd breathed in the gas their death was as one.
Their flesh was mean when buried unseen 'neath a dark and rocky knob.
And at last a tear was shed when executioners did their job.
In court they sat their faces stone, their eyes had never known a sob
And one by one they stood and said: 'I was only doing my job.'
But the crowd saw through their law and hissed and spat and sputtered
When one person used those words another person suffered.
It's dawn again, that time again, the sun has made the day
And see again that fatal sight of wood and rope and clay.
The crowd sighed but never cried as the trapdoor life did rob
And the executioner went away well pleased with his job.

Turkey Massacre
Everything was fine in Turkeyville,
Until Bob ran over the hill.
We heard a loud boom,
And something go vroom,
While Bob screamed It's Jackter,
On the big tractor,
With a shot gun,
RUN RUN RUN! ! !
The turkeys cried and ran,
On the other side was Dan,
With a huge revolver.
Run, run Oliver!
Screamed Bob,
But there was no where else to run.
The Thanksgiving fun had begun.
The turkeys of Turkeyville,
Had a big run over the hill,
But sadly no one escaped.
Except one turkey faked,
But he was cooked alive,
And took a dive,
Into the boiling soup.
Dan said Now for the chicken coop!
So they left, ran, and got thinner,
Right before their Thanksgiving turkey dinner.
