Corona
Bioluminous, two ships adrift
Passing in the night
Under the southern light
Aurora Australis
Becoming unmoved and unknowingly
Evolved
Like the supercluster of galaxies
In which they merge
A tingle, an urge
To gaze upward and glow into
One another's maze of faces.
It takes one simple touch to guide them.

The Urge To Merge
Written by Pam Reswick, Steve Werfel
Though I think I really know you
And you think you know me
And we're as close at two people
Could ever hope to be
Still I can't escape the feeling
That no matter what I do
I'll never understand what it feels like to be you
I get the urge to know you better
To make our spirits one
I want to see us be together
As close as we can come
I get the urge to merge
I get the urge to merge with you
I get the urge to merge
I get the urge to merge with you
Have you ever wanted something
You just had to possess
And it turned into obsession
And wouldn't let you rest
There are times I can't help wishing
I could melt right into you
Hear every word you're thinking
Feel everything you do
I feel trapped inside my body
And there's nothing I can do
Want to leap across the wall
That's keeping me from you
To break what can't be broken
To say what can't be spoken
If only for a moment
To touch your soul
I get the urge to know you better

I've been thinking about that old Zen conundrum what's the sound of one hand clapping My personal opinion--nothing. You don't have two hands, you don't have any clapping. It's as simple as that. Stars, galaxies, clapping hands, what's the point The point is that we all need somebody, whether you're a supercluster or a little proton, a yin or a yang. Everybody is hooked into everybody else.

Im A Southern Man
Tony joe white
Send me a pan of corn bread with some turnip greens on the side
And if you really want to mess with my head give me anything southern fried
Give me some faded blue jeans and a pair of old cowboy boots
And Im gonna tell you where I come from tell you somethin about my roots
Im a southern man, Im a southern man,
Im a southern man, (spoken) Im a southern man
Send me a woman to love me with a lot of meat on her bones
Theres something about a big lady I just cant leave em alone
Id like to take her down to the river go skinny dippin in the night
Aint nothin like being with my lady and makin love in the pale moon light
Cause Im a southern man, a hah ah Im a southern man, Im a southern
Man, southern man, Im a southern man
Give me that soulful music it sure makes me feel so nice
So I can do the alligator and get it on every saturday night
Give me that southern comfort, give me annie greensprings wine
Take me on down to the bayou and Ill sure have a real good time
Im a southern man repeated many times to end

See All Her Faces
(jim stratton / alexander ryan)
Here she comes
Here she comes
Ribbons flying from her half-forgotten hair
Look at her run
See what the world and love have done
See all her faces
See all her faces
Look in my eyes
That she is me
I cant disguise
See all her faces
Ah, ha, see all her faces
Im looking for someone
Of the gentle kind
Knowing that looks can lie
Looking for someone
Is he there to find?
Or should I run on by, ah, ha
Here she comes
Here she comes
Shadows sadly chasing
Every step she takes
Look at her now
She needs love so much more somehow
See all her faces
See all her faces
Look at my life
The wasted years
Each a knife
See all her faces, ah-ha
See all her faces
Waiting for someone
Who will set me free
Passing the time too fast
Waiting for someone
Is that where hell be?
Or should I run right past? , hmm
There she goes
There she goes
Somehow making me and all her faces sad, oh, oh
Ba, da, ba, da, ba, da, ba, da......

Faltered Footsteps On The Floor
Silently he turned the key
Wondering how life would be
He slowly opened up that door
Faltered footsteps on the floor
He made a pact unknowingly
That never would his history
Make him a hostage to his past
The door now open and at last
He saw a mirror on the wall
But could not see himself at all
The light the light was growing dim
He wondered 'was i ever him?
The him that i once was before?
The him now shut out by that door? '
He paused for just one moment then
He - time and time and time again -
Asked of himself a simple thing
That stirred up his imaginings
If he could not yet be himself
Why did he always seek out help
To guide him on his wanderings
When the true map lay within him.

This Dance So Prestions To Me
you talk, you think, you try to comprehend
yet you don’t understand
the beauty of them all
they dance around the
beautiful light
so organized around the light
if they shall end
we end the dance so preiouse to me
but this dance hope not to end
not to end to soon
I love one especially
so important
I see thee every night
I watch as you dance your
dance brings you to the full eye
and takes you away
I hope you guide me to my future
I wish I could meet thee
some day I will
just don’t let your dance
take thee away from me
I can’t see thee
no more
I shall cry
for an eternity of tears
but do know we shall
not leave me in my time of need
I live I breath for you
my beauty
no other reason but you
you’ve helped me in the past
unknowingly
and you shall help me
here and now
as the path ahead
is so long and narrow
you will light the path of
uncertainty with
hills and mountains
with trenches as deep as the sea
I love thee
I worship thee I honor thees rules

Couldn't Get Away
I walked along the avenue,
I never thought i'd meet a girl like you.
Meet a girl like you.
With auburn hair and tauny eyes;
The kind of eyes that hypnotise me through,
Hypnotise me through.
And I ran.
I ran so far away.
Couldn't get away.
A crowd appears above your head.
A beam of light comes shining down on you.
Shining down on you.
The crowd is moving near us still.
Aurora borealis comes in view.
Aurora comes in view.
And I ran.
I ran so far away.
I just ran, I ran all night and day.
Couldn't get away.
You started him to touch your face,
You're slowly disappearing from my view.
Disappearing from my view.
You started him to try again.
I'm floating in a beam of light with you.
A beam of light with you.
And I ran.
I ran so far away.
I just ran.
I ran all night and day.
And I ran.
I ran so far away.
I just ran.
I ran all night and day.
Couldn't get away.

The Aurora Australis
A radiance in the midnight sky
No white moon gave, nor yellow star;
We thought its red glow mounted high
Where fire and forest fought afar,
Half questioning if the township blazed,
Perchance, beyond the boundary hill;
Then, finding what it was, we gazed
And wondered till we shivered chill.
And Fancy showed the sister-glow
Of our Aurora, sending lines
Of lustre forth to tint the snow
That lodges in Norwegian pines.
And South and North alternate swept
In vision past us, to and fro;
While stealthy winds of midnight crept
About us, whispering fast and low.
The North, whose star burns steadily,
High set in heaven long ago:
The South, new-risen on the sea,
A tremulous horizon-glow.
We mused, “Shall there be gallant guests
Within our polar hermitage,
As on the shore where Franklin rests,
And others, named in Glory's page?
And, “Shall the light we look on blaze
Above such battles as have been,
In other countries, other days,
The giants and the gods between?”
Till one declared, “We live to-night
In what shall be the poet's world:
The lands 'neath our Aurora's light
Are as the rocks the Titans hurled.
“From southern waters, ice-enthralled,
Year after year the rays that glance
Shall see the Desert shrink appalled
Before the City's swift advance.
“Shall see the precipice a stair,
The river as a road. And then
There shall be voices to declare
‘This work was wrought by manly men.'”
And so our South all stately swept
In vision past us, to and fro;
While stealthy winds of midnight crept
About us, whispering fast and low.

Charade
Some nights we made our love in the sand
And at the tide we held our love in our hands
And we listened to music the ocean was playing
The words that our two hearts were saying
That only two lovers can make
Let us ride on the wind while this moment is real
Your the light of my life
You are welcome to my Charade
And this felling knowing you blessed me forever
And believing I have been touch by your love
And the pleasure of knowing the evening won't tare us apart
We can follow the sun to the day light is gone
We can gaze up the sky till the night is over
Light of my life
You are welcome to my Charade
And this felling knowing you blessed me forever
We can follow the sun to the day light is gone
We can gaze at the sky till the night is over
Light of my life
You are welcome to my Charade
And this feeling knowing you blassed me forever
We can follow the sun to the day light is gone
We can gaze at the sky till the night is over
Light of my life
You are welcome to my Charade..........

Ships
(ian hunter)
We walked to the sea, just my father and me
And the dogs played around on the sand.
Winter cold cut the air, hanging still everywhere
Dressed in gray did he say hold my hand?
I said loves easier when its far away
We sat and watched the distant lights.
Were two ships that pass in the night
And we smile when we say its alright.
Were still here, its just that were out of sight
Like those ships that pass in the night.
Theres a boat on the line where the sea meets the sky.
Theres another that rides far behind.
And it seems you and I are like strangers a wide
Ways apart as we drift on through time.
He said its harder now youre far away
We only read you when you write.
Were two ships that pass in the night
We both smile when we say its alright.
Were still here, oh its just that were out of sight
Like those ships that pass in the night.
Were two ships that pass in the night
Were two ships that pass in the night
Were two ships that pass in the night
(repeat and fade)

The significant sun
The glow grows by day
And the plants make food
Flowers bloom
Lovers meet
Nighttime heat
The sun shines not at night but
But by day
The birds of the air
Chirp a melody
Whistling and fooling
For the curious to see
Why they play
The sun shines not at night
But by day
He hides his glow
Cause he cannot bear to see
The fright of the dark night
And the rays are no more there
Instead cold, musty air
Cold as the heart of the night
Brought about by no light
The sun shines not at night
But by day
Joyful laughter emerges faces
Greeting the bright mourning
Leaving the eerie night behind
The sun brings hope
The night brings fright
And the innocent hearts
Too fragile to bear the sight
Closes its eyes and wishes
For light
The sun shines not at night
But by day

It's Just the Glow
A billion - billion
The earth have trod,
Each unknowingly glowing
Wearing the image of God.
This old world runs on atrocities
Yet cries for ruined lives;
Avaricious society kills the earth
Then demands those with less, clean up the mess...
Witlessly wondering why
The trampled turn to suicide.
The few who try
To peacefully live and die
Can find no rest
And thereby so much of the planet goes unblessed.
Some things a man thinks he does
When in reality, he does not know;
So much cannot be said
Of wisdom from far beyond ones meager head;
With my words I try so much to show
Yet, even these all are not the Light,
Merely just the glow.
In all the pains and wrongs
The earth has endured,
In all the priceless and witty
Attempt at holy-words;
Through and within and far beyond
All of these there is but one cure,
One devine voice calling and caring
To be sought, found, and heard.
One Light glowing
In the darkness of night.
Throughout humanities ' long and terrible night '
What we all need and desire so
Is the way, the truth, the light;
Everything else by human hand, as grand
As it may seem
Just rises to fall, comes to go
Points towards, but is not the Light,
Tis merely just the glow.
Some day when this is all done
We shall come to understand
It was, and always is, the light of the Son
That glows - and grows -
Into the heart of each child, woman and man.
' From within or from behind, a light shines through us upon things, and makes us aware that we are nothing, but the light is all. ' -Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Like a Rainbow
I see your colours shining bright,
Through the African clouds you show your light,
You are like a Rainbow and I can't touch you,
Hard as I try I just can't reach you,
When I reach out you move away,
When I catch up you're just not there,
When I move away I see you everywhere,
When the rain is gone you are still there, I just can't reach you,
Like a Rainbow, you are like a Rainbow,
Like a Rainbow, you are like a Rainbow,
Do you know why you shine so beautiful and bright?
Do you know how to shine without the light?
If you touch me I will know and you will glow,
If you let me reach you then I will teach you and we'll be alright,
At sunset you fade, then my stars come out,
The darkness comes between us, must we be apart?
When you know me then your Northern Lights will shine bright,
Your Southern Lights will be up all night, my stars shine through you,
Then we will be alright.

Guiding Light
Like a lighthouse on a stormy night,
that shines bright for ailing ships,
to steer them to a friendly port.
I need a light to guide me,
to her awaiting arms.
A guiding light to lead me safely,
to her open door.
That I may end my search,
with love warmth evermore.

Ships that Pass in the Night
Out in the sky the great dark clouds are massing;
I look far out into the pregnant night,
Where I can hear the solemn booming gun
And catch the gleaming of a random light,
That tells me that the ship I seek
is passing, passing.
My tearful eyes my soul's deep hurt are glassing;
For I would hail and check that ship of ships.
I stretch my hands imploring, cry aloud,
My voice falls dead a foot from mine own lips,
And but its ghost doth reach that vessel, passing, passing.
O Earth, O Sky, O Ocean, both surpassing,
O heart of mine, O soul that dreads the dark!
Is there no hope for me? Is there no way
That I may sight and check that speeding bark
Which out of sight and sound is passing, passing?

Falling Star
Shining, sparkling in the darkness night
You’re the light from above that so bright
A falling star that I’ve been waiting
Hear my wishes as now I whisper
And feel what my heart is been a desire
Falling star you like an angel
Send by heaven with a magic spell
Show to me the light that dance in a glow,
I hear you singing as you go away
It granted my wishes as like what I say
To let my dear friend here to stay.
Twinkle, dazzling, dancing in neon light
let you be an angel and keep us guide
can I touch you and hold you tight
all I can do is to stare at you
saying my wishes hope it will come true.

Adrift! A little boat adrift!
30
Adrift! A little boat adrift!
And night is coming down!
Will no one guide a little boat
Unto the nearest town?
So Sailors say—on yesterday—
Just as the dusk was brown
One little boat gave up its strife
And gurgled down and down.
So angels say—on yesterday—
Just as the dawn was red
One little boat—o'erspent with gales—
Retrimmed its masts—redecked its sails—
And shot—exultant on!
