It Really Doesn't Matter

You say theirs overwhelming responsibility,

I don't believe in walking away when things get hard.
In fact they are my spark to continue my march.

Did I Say That?

So this is what it feels like
To be the one left behind
To give it all you've got, then find
You've already changed your mind
And this is what it sounds like
Crying on the bed that we both made
Waiting for a sign that you just can't give me

I don't want to be here wide-awake

Hanging off the edge of every word
