Mistake
I stood over the side
feeling the pain in heart
As I saw the shadows fade
with the moving time.
Not able to move
the sand creeping over my feet
Wind blew hard
uprooting my hopes in life.
I felt the tear
sliding over my face
Cleaning the particles
that reminded me of the past.
The sun scorched over me
turning my thoughts to ashes
Empty I felt, stranded
in a barren place.
Saw the gates of heaven
pushed far by the clouds
Felt the warm welcome
from the depths of hell.
I stared at the clock
trying to turn it around
Hoping I get a chance
to undo my "Mistake".

Heaven aint your place girl , not now anyways
And in this hell yeah yeah , you cant erase
All of the pain , that youve been given
That aint the reason yeah , that youve been driven
Watch the hand as its movin ,
24 times around
Every seconds like a minute ,
Till youre back on the ground
Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry)

Ive felt joy and Ive felt pain (girl Im sorry)
But I know Im gonna see you again
Girl we had our chances , we knew from the start
That we could take heaven yeah and tear it apart tear it apart
You gotta take a chance girl , you gotta lead me by the hand
And turn this wild one , into a family man..come on
Many miles been between us since I walked away

Bodhisattva Nightmare
i felt the bullet
as your body fell,
the sickening gasp of light
lost in the void...
i felt the empty
of your stomach turning,
as you staggered weakly
down that long dusty road.
i felt the bone crushing pain
as he struck your face,
again and again....
i felt the sickness
of the stench of the alley...
i felt the fear and despair of the cell,
the not knowing when
it was going to come...
i felt the hatred and fear
they tormented you with,
for who you loved,
and the way you lived....
i felt the hopelessness
of the hard ass streets,
the gun in your pocket...
the monkey on your back....
i felt.... and still feel!

Thank you a lot
I learnt it from nature
Despite harming so much for sure
"I bow head with respect"
To forgive us all for mad act
I thank almighty for providing precious life
Along with resolve to stay with lots of strife
Always waiting for good to happen
Despite all chances of no success even
I breathe in amidst uncertain moment
Thank nature for providing nice movement
To feel its pulse of its great act
What else can be felt in return as fact?
We can only thank in terms of gesture
That is goodness of human being for sure
We can reciprocate and recognize
If everything is understood as wise
Be calm and quiet while responding
Because that directly reflects and corresponds
Your inner soul action and feeling on face
Face lines are read in all the cases
Eyes go down in recognition
"Words are not sufficient reflection"
"I wish to speak something more"
It just weaves the thoughts and really adore
Such is the meaning of "Thank you"
It must convey feeling and look true
Merely saying "thank you" may look casual
Each time it may be spoken as lines from an individual
Lots of burden is removed when conveyed
The gratitude felt from inside and relayed
The receiver may too felt its impact
To feel real worth and graciousness of act
Thank all when you feel something good is done
Not to you but your friend and heart is won
This is the only gesture that costs nothing
But in return you earn a good will wish for something

The Cord Of Gossamer
The gossamer cord it tightens,
As I try to move away.
Although I love you Eternally,
We can't live day by day.
I puzzled over this anomaly
Down the years that passed so full,
And asked myself, what can I do?
"Nothing" came reply, "just null."
But still I puzzled, beat my brow,
Felt I should do it all.
"No child" you gently chided,
"You're riding for a fall."
Only live your life for you,
Though interlinked you be.
This gauntlet is not yours to run.
Let go your agony.
Though partners through the Universe,
Evolving along with he.
You cannot move his pieces (chess) ,
You have to let him be.
And if he honours his Karma,
Then the choice is yours to live,
But if he should choose to turn away,
Then freedom you must give.
Not just for him my child you said,
As I turned bewildered face.
In puzzlement to you I cried,
But we won't win the race.
Then if that's so my darling one,
Accept it and move on.
For you can't be he as well as you,
For this life at least it must be gone.
Maybe in the lifetimes still to come,
You still could join in pace.
But two it still takes hand in hand.
‘Tis never just one face.

Sands Of Love
i walked along the oceans shores
with a hundred thoughts on my mind
trying to get the answers in that period of time.
does love only come once in our lifetime?
and is it destined for us to feel heartbreak?
how can i survive? what will it take.
i was forgetting what it was to love again
then something strange happened to me.
i felt the oceans mist gently touch my face.
i felt the sun hold me in a warm embrace.
i felt the sand underneath my feet
i felt my heart skip a beat.
there stood this woman in her glory
telling the children a fairy tale story.
as a child they would wonder.
what was rolling thunder?
what created the rainbow in the sky.
why could the birds fly, and not you and i?
why does the sun rise in the east
and sets in the west?
is this just part of GODS test?
these were just some of the
questions that was put to her.
she looked at the children in total dismay
not knowing what to say.
so i decided to step in, and answer the
questions the best that i could.
not really knowing if i should.
she smiled at me, and gave a sigh of relief
she asked me to sit at their feet.
we laughed and joked with the children
and played in the sand.
she thanked me for giving the helping hand.
the sun started to set in the sky
there we sat- just she and i.
i asked if i could see her again
even if it's as a friend.
and she knew where i was going with that
and that there'd be no turning back.
we were both looking for love
the second time around.
and in each other
'that love we found'.

The Wind
I felt the wind come in today
and felt the gusts that blew.
I thought of warmth and summer
and then I thought of you.
No leaves are left upon my trees.
The wind has blown them away.
And as it blows unmercifully
my thoughts have gone astray.
I must gather them in once again
and let them keep me warm.
If but for no other reason
than to quiet my mental storm
that is just as ferocious as the wind
and chills the thoughts that appear.
I can't figure out which is worse,
the thoughts or the wind that's here?

Above Myself
(3/30/12)
Sitting at home watching t. v.
When something took control of me
I felt as if I was floating on air
I had no worries, I had no cares.
I saw myself staring down at me
And asking myself: how can this be?
Then I heard a strange voice over my head saying
" you're alive - you're not dead"
There is a place that you must go
This is a place that I must show.
He took my hand and up we went
I felt as if it was heaven sent.
He showed me a country ravaged by war
And bodies were strewn all over the floor.
He showed me families living in shacks
Under terrorists attacks
He showed me children walking the streets
Looking for water and something to eat.
He showed me women being raped
And a terrorist putting it on tape.
He said: this is the point that this world has come to
And there is something that I must ask of you
" we need these voices to be heard
We need you to spread the word"
Then he took me back to where I began
For this was all part of GODS plan.
He wants all of us to do what's right
This should be our only fight.
"Now I see and understand that we must do all we can."

The Only True King
From the first day my eyes saw him I knew my life was complete, the pride within
Me begged to shut out, announcing to the world the joyous love I felt inside,
Tears rolled down my face uncontrollable from the happiness I felt inside. NIne long
months came and went, eagerly I awaited to see my son, "My Son" these words hold
A new meaning to me, since the beginning of my manhood, I prayed for a son to call
My own. In life when a pray is answered, one should give the greatest thanks all of "unconditional love."
As I watch him grow, I watch myself grow as well. We share a
Bond together which will last a life time, He is the heir to my thrown, the wind in
My sails, the anchor which keeps me stable. He is MY SON - Justin

Clock back
It is very hard put clock back
When enough water has flown and so much is at stake
You were always fascinating and much of interest
Not to think of anything but how to utilize it best
I have flown to and fro number of times
Touched your cheeks and came back many times
It was all dreamy affair and gave me immense pleasure
Something not felt this before but as if of precious treasure
"I can be your friend provided you assure" these words still ring
Like beautiful melody heard in early morning from cuckoo when she sings
You were so scared to admit new friends when I requested
It was first encounter that flowed form net friend and tested
It was never looking since then as still continued
Each time the sentiment is felt and frequently renewed
We had close link in mind that built good relation
Even that reached to the extent of cementing with indication
You were forcible in putting seal over it for common good
As we were striving hard for some nutrition or food
It was no doubt moral support and feeling for each other
You were no where to be seen around or very much near
You are back again with many ups and down in life
It has made you litter bitter about the name of wife
You were in real term "Pakizzah"* or sacred in name
The irony of fate really had destined to pass the blame
It still rings in my ears like bell to remand so many things
I was fed to believe about poetry or like something
You were born poetess that injected many themes
I flew in dreamy world with "What is there in names"
You have stood your ground well and nourished
In your world with feet on ground and flourished
I feel each pulse of your breathe when hold the hand
You are felt as if of close one even more than a special friend
It is still a deep feeling and set in motion an thought
It needs not be explained, hardly to be mentioned or fought
I feel it is desire on both the ends to see each other and unite
The deep feeling still burns inside and sometimes fuel to ignite

The True Lover
The lad came to the door at night,
When lovers crown their vows,
And whistled soft and out of sight
In shadow of the boughs.
"I shall not vex you with my face
Henceforth, my love, for aye;
So take me in your arms a space
Before the cast is grey.
"When I from hence away am past
I shall not find a bride,
And you shall be the first and last
I ever lay beside."
She heard and went and knew not why;
Her heart to his she laid;
Light was the air beneath the sky
But dark under the shade.
"Oh do you breathe, lad, that your breast
Seems not to rise and fall,
And here upon my bosom prest
There beats no heart at all?"
"Oh loud, my girl, it once would knock,
You should have felt it then;
But since for you I stopped the clock
It never goes again."
"Oh lad, what is it, lad, that drips
Wet from your neck on mine?
What is it falling on my lips,
My lad, that tastes of brine?"
"Oh like enough 'tis blood, my dear,
For when the knife was slit,
The throat across from ear to ear
'Twill bleed because of it."
Under the stars the air was light
But dark below the boughs,
The still air of the speechless night,
When lovers crown their vows.

Four Winds
"Four winds blowing through the sky,
You have seen poor maidens die,
Tell me then what I shall do
That my lover may be true."
Said the wind from out the south,
"Lay no kiss upon his mouth,"
And the wind from out the west,
"Wound the heart within his breast,"
And the wind from out the east,
"Send him empty from the feast,"
And the wind from out the north,
"In the tempest thrust him forth;
When thou art more cruel than he,
Then will Love be kind to thee."

The Wreck of the Steamer Stella
'Twas in the month of March and in the year of 1899,
Which will be remembered for a very long time;
The wreck of the steamer "Stella" that was wrecked on the Casquet Rocks,
By losing her bearings in a fog, and received some terrible shocks.
The "Stella" was bound for the Channel Islands on a holiday trip,
And a number of passengers were resolved not to let the chance slip;
And the hearts of the passengers felt light and gay,
As the "Stella" steamed out of the London Docks without delay.
The vessel left London at a quarter-past eleven,
With a full passenger list and a favourable wind from heaven;
And all went well until late in the afternoon,
When all at once a mist arose, alas! too soon.
And as the Channel Islands were approached a fog set in,
Then the passengers began to be afraid and made a chattering din;
And about half-past three o'clock the fog settled down,
Which caused Captain Reeks and the passengers with fear to frown.
And brave Captain Reeks felt rather nervous and discontent,
Because to him it soon became quite evident;
And from his long experience he plainly did see
That the fog was increasing in great density.
Still the "Stella" sailed on at a very rapid rate,
And, oh, heaven! rushed headlong on to her fate,
And passed o'er the jagged rocks without delay,
And her side was ripped open: Oh! horror and dismay!
Then all the passengers felt the terrible shock,
As the "Stella" stuck fast upon the first ledge of rock;
And they rushed to the deck in wild alarm,
While some of them cried: "Oh! God protect us from harm."
Then men clasped wives and daughters, and friends shook hands,
And unmoved Captain Reeks upon the bridge stands;
And he shouted, "Get out the boats without delay!"
Then the sailors and officers began to work without dismay.
Again Captain Reeks cried in a manly clear voice,
"Let the women and children be our first choice!"
Then the boats were loaded in a speedy way,
And with brave seamen to navigate them that felt no dismay.
Then the "Stella" began rapidly for to settle down,
And Captain Reeks gave his last order without a frown,
Shouting, "Men, for yourselves, you'll better look out!"
Which they did, needing no second bidding, without fear or doubt.
Then the male passengers rushed to the boats in wild despair,
While the cries of the women and children rent the air;
Oh, heaven! such a scene ! 'twas enough to make one weep,
To see mothers trying to save their children that were fast asleep.
Brave Captain Reeks stood on the bridge till the ship went down,
With his eyes uplifted towards heaven, and on his face no frown;
And some of the passengers jumped from the ship into the sea,
And tried hard to save their lives right manfully.
But the sufferings of the survivors are pitiful to hear,
And I think all Christian people for them will drop a tear,
Because the rowers of the boata were exhausted with damp and cold;
And the heroine of the wreck was Miss Greta Williams, be it told.
She remained in as open boat with her fellow-passengers and crew,
And sang "O rest in the Lord, and He will come to our rescue";
And for fourteen hours they were rowing on the mighty deep,
And when each man was done with his turn he fell asleep.
And about six o'clock in the morning a man shrieked out,
"There's a sailing boat coming towards us without any doubt";
And before the sailing boat could get near, a steamer hove in sight,
Which proved to be the steamer "Lynx," to their delight.
And they were conveyed to Guernsey without delay,
Poor souls, with their hearts in a state of joy and dismay;
But alas! more than eighty persons have been lost in the briny deep,
But I hope their souls are now in heaven in safe keep.

Menses
(He speaks, but to himself, being aware how it is with her)
Think not I have not heard.
Well-fanged the double word
And well-directed flew.
I felt it. Down my side
Innocent as oil I see the ugly venom slide:
Poison enough to stiffen us both, and all our friends;
But I am not pierced, so there the mischief ends.
There is more to be said: I see it coiling;
The impact will be pain.
Yet coil; yet strike again.
You cannot riddle the stout mail I wove
Long since, of wit and love.
As for my answer . . . stupid in the sun
He lies, his fangs drawn:
I will not war with you.
You know how wild you are. You are willing to be turned
To other matters; you would be grateful, even.
You watch me shyly. I (for I have learned
More things than one in our few years together)
Chafe at the churlish wind, the unseasonable weather.
"Unseasonable?" you cry, with harsher scorn
Than the theme warrants; "Every year it is the same!
'Unseasonable!' they whine, these stupid peasants!—and never
since they were born
Have they known a spring less wintry! Lord, the shame,
The crying shame of seeing a man no wiser than the beasts he
feeds—
His skull as empty as a shell!"
("Go to. You are unwell.")
Such is my thought, but such are not my words.
"What is the name," I ask, "of those big birds
With yellow breast and low and heavy flight,
That make such mournful whistling?"
"Meadowlarks,"
You answer primly, not a little cheered.
"Some people shoot them." Suddenly your eyes are wet
And your chin trembles. On my breast you lean,
And sob most pitifullly for all the lovely things that are not and
have been.
"How silly I am!—and I know how silly I am!"
You say; "You are very patient. You are very kind.
I shall be better soon. Just Heaven consign and damn
To tedious Hell this body with its muddy feet in my mind!"

Brief life-story of God
In the beginning
Owing to extreme gravitational force
God's heart was tending to squeeze more and more
But mass and space of anything can't be nil
As a result an outward force was created
This inward and outward force
Is the cause of heartbeat of God
That made the sound "Allah" repeatedly.
Suddenly God thought what is Allah
And God began to know Himself.
At one point of time God thought
It would be better if He had a lover
So He wanted to split Himself into two pieces
As a result the body of God exploded
And it turned Himself into tiniest particles except His heart
And that was God's one and only mistake
For which He felt the maximum physical pain
Then the tiniest particles gathered around God's heart
Because of gravitational force
Thus God's body looked like the same again
But with more knowledge, power and potentiality.
Even God forgets some things
Because there's not enough space
To store God's memory of infinite time.
That's one of the reasons why
God's pen has written down every important thing.
In the end
The righteous will be in paradise
And the sinners will be in hell
Then after zillions of long years
Same things will begin to repeat
In paradise, hell and everywhere else in the universe
But none of us will remember the days that will repeat
So every single day will seem brand new day to us.

Collide
I felt my heart collapse
On the day that I met him
I felt my heart collapse
It filled up to the rim
I felt my heart collapse
When my eyes traveled 'round
I felt my heart collapse
The one I had found
I felt my heart collapse
When he first touched my skin
I felt my heart collapse
Oh it seemed a lovely sin
I felt my heart collapse
It fell without a sound
I felt my heart collapse
Oh I knew I had found
I felt my heart collapse
When we shared that first kiss
I felt my heart collapse
I thought that I would almost miss
I felt my heart collapse
I was lost in his embrace
I felt my heart collapse
I kept staring at his face
Oh my heart collapsed on that day
Ever since it's been that same way
My love for you has not faded
Ever since the day it escaped

I changed his face:
I did it like M.L.K,
I changed the nation's face!
Riding in a public place
Saw me, he had a harsh tense
I took out a $ 50 bills
And the white man smiled
He was enchanted
He was delighted
Gave me a little "yes, Sir! "
Here is your receipt"please"
And have a nice night "Mr."
He did not stress up
To make the cops came up
Keeping people lined up
Instead, his eyes popped up
His lips straightened up
His face changed
His voice nicer
His attitude friendlier
Even his manner, better
His color became brighter.
I did it like Oprah Winfried
I did it like Michael Jackson
I did it like Michael Jordan
I have been accepted as equal
I have been seen as normal.
Money made me white
Money gave me right
Money put in me power
Money lifted me higher
Money bought me respect
Money called me: " Money"
Money said to me: hi! Money
I said back: "hello! Money"
Money is Power and Respect.
No matter how I did it
For sure I made it
In his face I saw it
I felt like a heavy weight
I felt like an airfreight
I felt like all my bodyweight
Have been lift up from me
Now I am free with no fee
Now I can live with no fear.
This is my story
I wrote a paragraph in history
I had my taste of victory
I did one thing for humanity
I changed his face, I have my relief
I showed my money, I sent him free.

The day we said goodbye
"The day we said goodbye"
(Narrative Poem)
I was sitting in the far corner of the room
I was thinking about you how you are in pain
I was hoping and praying that you come back to us again
I asked God to give us a chance to take care of you as you take care of your children.
I have so much faith in my heart that God will grant my prayers as He always did.
But as I was pondering about of what will happen then if God will take you that time there was an urge for me to go to the bed where you lay fighting for life.
I kiss your cheek and rub your forehead lovingly hoping it will ease some pain you are suffering telling you you're not alone you are accompanied by so many.
As I was saying those words you nod your head to me I thought you came back but that was the last time I saw you move as I looked at you
You're not breathing anymore.
I rubbed my eyes hoping I was wrong but indeed! "MAMA YOU'RE DEAD"!
I walked away quietly surprisingly I was very calmed I told my sisters to call the nurses.
They asked me why? I can not said the horrible words I just sat back again in the corner where I was still hoping I was wrong that you are still breathing.
The nurses came and said "She is gone". They called the doctor and he said the same..."She is gone".
Mama I never thought that was my last kiss for you
The last words I uttered "I love you Ma".
The day we said goodbye is the day you died.
Every time I think of your death I feel like a sharp knife pierce to the deepest chamber of my heart.
I long to hear your voice even you're upset
I long to hug you sometimes teased you
I long to take you with me hoping I give you some happiness
I long to show you love I know I did not showed you enough
I long to tell you I LOVE YOU with all my heart
But I know it is just all longings nothing more I can do
I know you're with the LORD and with Papa and Kuya
I hope you're still watching us even from afar
And I hope you help me cope with this longing I am feeling inside
MAMA you are always my guiding light I know even from heaven you still give us your love.
No one can give us love beyond this life but you my beloved MAMSI.

Jonah and the Grampus
I'll tell you the story of Jonah,
A really remarkable tale;
A peaceful and humdrum existence he had
Until one day he went for a sail.
The weather were grand when they started,
But later at turn of the tide
The wind started blowing, the water got rough,
And Jonah felt funny inside.
When the ship started pitching and tossing
He tried hard his feelings to smother,
At last he just leant his head over the side
And one thing seemed to bring up another.
When the sailors saw what he were doing
It gave them a bit of a jar;
They didn't mind trippers enjoying theirselves,
But thowt this 'ere were going too far.
Said one "Is there nowt you can think on
To stop you from feelin' so bad?"
And Jonah said "Aye, lift me over the side
And chuck me in, there's a good lad."
The sailor were not one to argue,
He said "Happen you know what's best."
Then he picked Jonah up by the seat of his pants
And chucked him in, as per request.
A Grampus came up at that moment,
And seeing the old man hard set,
It swam to his side and it opened its mouth
And said "Come in lad, out of the wet."
Its manner were kindly and pleading,
As if to say R.S.V.P.
Said Jonah "I've eaten a kipper or two,
But I never thowt one would eat me."
The inside of Grampus surprised him,
'Twere the first time he'd been behind scenes;
He found 'commodation quite ample for one
But it smelled like a tin of sardines.
Then over the sea they went cruising,
And Jonah were filled with delight;
With his eye to the blow-'ole in t'Grampus's head
He watched ships that passed in the night.
"I'm tired of watching," said Jonah,
"I'll rest for a minute or so."
"I'm afraid as you wont find your bed very soft,"
Said the Grampus, "I've got a hard roe."
At that moment up came a whale boat,
Said Jonah, "What's this 'ere we've struck?"
"They're after my blubber," the Grampus replied,
"You'd better 'old tight while I duck."
The water came in through the spy-'ole
And hit Jonah's face a real slosher,
He said, "Shut your blow-'ole!" and Grampus replied
"I can't lad, it needs a new washer."
Jonah tried 'ard to bail out the water,
But found all his efforts in vain,
For as fast as he emptied the slops out through the gills
They came in through the blow 'ole again.
When at finish they came to the surface
Jonah took a look out and he saw
They were stuck on a bit of a sandbank that lay
One rod, pole or perch from the shore.
Said the Grampus, "We're in shallow water,
I've brought you as far as I may;
If you sit on the blow 'ole on top of my head
I'll spout you the rest of the way."
So Jonah obeyed these instructions,
And the Grampus his lungs did expand,
Then blew out a fountain that lifted Jo' up
And carried him safely to land.
There was tears in their eyes when they parted
And each blew a kiss, a real big 'un,
Then the Grampus went off with a swish of it's tail
And Jonah walked back home to Wigan.

My 1st little car
Look there I see it
I seen it there just in sight
I felt the butterflies it felt so right
I felt the connection
I knew it was the perfect selection
My 1st little car
It was green and eye calling
The price cost my thoughts nothing
It stood out from the rest of the place
I knew that we would be together
I sat init and felt a warm embrace
My 1st little car
It called me over and invited me in
To take a drive and have our journey begin
It gleamed and shined it was nearly perfection
I drove for a while following the directions
Took it back to the garage and put down my deposit

"I'll do the old dump in a day,"
He told me in his brittle way.
"Two more, I guess, I'll give to Rome
Before I hit the trail for home;
But while I'm there I kindo' hope
To have an audience with the Pope."
We stood upon the terraced height
With sunny Florence in our sight.
I gazed and gazed, too moved to speak
Until he queried: "What's that creek?"
"The Arno, sir," I said surprised;
He stared at it with empty eyes.
"It is," said I, "the storied stream
Where Dante used to pace and dream,
And wait for Beatrice to pass."
(Oh how I felt a silly ass
Explaining this.) With eyes remote
He asked: "Was Beatrice a boat?"
Then tranced by far Fiesole
Softly I sought to steal away;
But his adhesiveness was grim,
I could not pry apart from him:
And so in our hotel-ward walk
Meekly I listened to his talk.
"Bologna! Say, the lunch was swell;
Them wops know how to feed you well.
Verona! There I met a blonde"
Oh how that baby could respond!
Siena! That's the old burg where
We soused on Asti in the square.
"Antiquity! Why, that's the bunk -
Statues and all that mouldy junk
Will never get you anywhere . . .
My line is ladies' underware,
And better than a dozen Dantes
Is something cute in female scanties. . . .
"One day in Florence is too small
You think, maybe, to see it all.
Well, it don't matter what you've seen -
The thing is: you can say you've been."
