Fall Feeling

There's a unique smell
upon the air,
late summer slowly mingled
with a dash of early fall in there.
The maples are turning
just a touch,
and something inside me feels it
just as much.
A breeze blows gently
through the sun's lingering rays,
truly these are
the most wonderous days.
The mind fails
at finding the right words,
while trying to speak of autumns voice
that my soul has heard.
I want so to hold
and embrace it all,
yet share it with everyone
this amazing feel of fall.

Love Never Dies

I will love you forever,
Though your lips might speak end.
I will hold you in my heart and soul,
As my everyday slowly begins.
I will see you when my eyes are blinded,
As I feebly walk alone.
And I will feel only you in my soul
When my heart is full of woe.
I will touch you, or I will remember the touch,
When my fingers become cold and numb.
And I will see, and hear only of you,
When the stars in the sky replaces the sun.
I will hear you speak again,
When a breeze gently blows past.

And when GOD calls me home again,

Breeze Blowing Along with the light Misty Rain

Ah.....How wonderful the smell

So Fresh, So Crisp

Reminding Me of Grandma's Homemade Pie

I just lie back on the bed and relax

That smell brings a Calm Peaceful feeling over me

Autumn in Mosaic! !

Shreds of red n orange, on base very jade
Spread in the yard, winters on the chase
Tangled all the way, dispersal is its phase
Fall on the way, my autumns in mosaic.

Chills in the wind, blowing in all grace
No warmth in trees, no more cozy shades
Saying bye with a hope, then asks to wait

You by my side and a hint of haze

Golden Rain

Summer gleams in heated rays,
across the shimmering plain.
Awaiting autumn's cooling breeze,
when leaves fall ~ like golden rain.

Rows and rows of harvest lay,
a bounty's sweet repose.
Fate sealed by the reaper's hand,
when the wind of autumn blows.

Shaded with a timeless hue,
day sings sweet summer's refrain.

A Good-Bye & A Hello

Good-Bye sweet, sweet summer, must you always go away?
Oh how I shall miss your short warm nights and long hot days
For once can't you be here to stay?

This summer shall remain special to me
In my memory this summer will forever more be

No it wasn't a summer of love, loss, or mystery
But was a summer of realization
A summer of learning more about me

This Summer I asked questions about myself that I never did before
This summer I answered those questions honestly
Pondered many thoughts
And did so much more

This summer during the warm nights I looked up at the stars
And wondered if this lifestyle was for me

This summer I looked up at the stars
And was forced to ask and answer honestly
If this was where I wanted to be

Oh summer even though I will miss you so
A new season is around the corner
To Fall I must say hello

While I shall miss staring up at the stars
While the warm summer breeze plays with my hair
I won't mind the falling leaves or chilling air

While I'll miss being warmed by the sun's never ending rays
I won't mind watching the leaves turn to different colors & shades
Or mind watching as the chilly air picks up the falling leaves
And blows them away

While it somewhat pains me to bid farewell
To summer that has left me forever changed

Maybe my fall will be like my summer
Maybe by the end of it I'll never be the same

So I must say goodbye to you summer
But I'm not to distressed or worried at all
After all who knows how much I'll have changed or leaned about myself
By the end of beautiful Fall

On Fire

My opinion could change today, but Im responsible anyway
For second or third hand information
That complicates the complication
And I dont think before I speak
And I dont know how far my words reach
So wrong nearly every time, that Im sorry I speak my mind
If what I said was unkind
Now it feels like Im on fire
Its burning the world through
But dont hold it against me, cuz I know youre lying, too
Is there any need for apology? Theres no reason to believe me
Judgments born in my jealous mind, creeping inside outside
Connections Ive made never follow through
And sooner or later disappoint you
Or cross you twice when your back is turned, thats how Ive learned
That someone has got to be burned

When the wind blows, many leaves will fall.
In my mind i see,

In a part of this once-great city
Stands a child crying out in pity.
Gone is hope in the heart of each hungry hour.
Every year in this land of plenty
There are millions of starving children
What will i say if they look my way?

The Oven Bird

There is a singer eveyone has heard,
Loud, a mid-summer and a mid-wood bird,
Who makes the solid tree trunks sound again.
He says that leaves are old and that for flowers
Mid-summer is to spring as one to ten.
He says the early petal-fall is past,
When pear and cherry bloom went down in showers
On sunny days a moment overcast;
