I call on dreams and other schemes
To try and win that game

In the morning when I wake,
And my feet can find the floor,
I stumble down the hall,

Not Seeing You For Long

Just a thought of it and I lose my cheer
I missed you a lot in the preceding year
I can’t blame you; it’s not your fault
Our not seeing each other happened by default!
It so happened we missed each other’s face
Encounters were replaced by texts of sms
Words were few, though sometimes we called
Technologies conspired; our meetings got stalled!
Years rolling by, times so fast fly
Relations are stuck at ‘hello’ n ‘hi’
Wiser we are growing, a smarter human race
We have little time to see each other’s face!

Happy Face

My face is raw,
With the flashflood of tears,
My head is pounding,
From crying so hard,
I can't quite comprehend,
Why this has happened.

Thots invading my mind,
Thots of suicide.
I know that wouldn't solve anything,
Plus I don't want her to keep that promise,
So I'll shove those thots back out.

Put on my happy face,
I can't let them see that anything is wrong,
That I might be cracking.

But when I get a chace,
I'll crawl into bed,
...and sleep,
And try to forget that this happened.

When I wake up,
I'll realixe that I could never forget
I'll never feel like I have.

When I was with her.
I'll pretend I never know her,
To get through there two years,
But I'll be emotionless,
Until she comes back,
And if she doesn't.
I'll put on my happy face,
and pretend everything is okay.

Mirror

Oh! Mirror the most loveable, cunning queen
You reflect in mostly whatever you have seen.
Face is the mirror of the soul
Literature is the face of the society as a whole
Oh! Mirror, you have to reflect me as it is your goal.
But why do you really fail to show my soul?

Whatever I do
In front of you
You do that ditto
If I lit a cigar, you lit too without nitto.
Even you can reflect the fire
Even you can make caricature
Out of me without any failure
But why do you really fail to show the fire
The burning sensation of my mind
And the sound of anguish which is in the wind?

Oh! Mirror, you are such a beauty! !
You have so much unparalleled quality! !
You make the distant nearer
And the nearer distant
You make the big small
And the small big.
But why do you always belittle me
When I am away from you?

We are a quirky pair
As long as we are near so long as we are dear
But when we are apart
You are so cruel; I am not in your heart.
But I can not forget you
Being tired and devastated in distress
I rush to you to show my face.
You are such a pretending ass
It seems that nothing happens between us.
You do as I do
You can not conceal my ugly face
The anxiety, the tiredness and the distress.
In such condition can our love continue

Deeds Done They Do

I am not angered at all,
About what has happened.
I am embittered about how it happened.
And why it happened...
To involve someone who had no idea,
They had been selected to be victimized.
And those initiating these activities with lies...
Are still pretending their innocence.
They are still trying to convince those unknowing...
They had nothing to do with the incidents.
And they had been the culprits who plotted the events!
I am not angered at all,
About what has happened.
I am embittered about how it happened.
And the evilness of those who know,
They are involved!
I am not Sherlock Holmes...
So I could care less how that is solved!
And the bitterness I carry,
Will itself be resolved!
I am familiar with the environment
Of such wickedness and those of evil doings.
Choosing I have,
To ignore and resist it.
Truth is truth!
And does not remain concealed...
To protect those who chose to live,
Behind deeds done they do that are unreal!
They reveal themselves in time.

They say his chances could not have been better
All the promise of a july sun in the morning sky
Laughing at the peering faces
From the windows of a limousine
Caviar with the a & r and still only in his teens
So whatever happened?
I can see him now, his face lit up in neon
One hand up in the air as he turns towards the crowd
His songs of silver arrows they tried to roll into gold
With diamond tips from painted lips
Designed and ready to be sold
They say he could not fall of
They say he could not fail
The wealth and fame would fire his flame
Just as soon as his ship set sail
So whatever happened?
Whatever happened to benny santini?
Whatever happened to the guy on the wall?
Where did he go to if he could not fall of
They tell you they dont know

What Happened To Us?

I thought it was to good to be true
I found somebody who understands me
Someone who would help me get to through
And fill an emptiness I had inside me
But you kept inside, and I just denied
Some things that we should have both said
I knew it was to good to be true
Cuz i'm the only one who understands me
What happened to us?
We used to be so perfect
Now we're lost and lonely
What happened to us?
And deep inside I wonder
Did I lose my only...
Remember they thought we were to young
To really know what it takes to make it
But we had survived all what we have done
So we could show them all that they're mistaken
But who could have known, the lies that would grow
Until we could see right through them

With The Face

With the face goes a mirror
As with the mind a world.
Likeness tells the doubting eye
That strangeness is not strange.
At an early hour and knowledge
Identity not yet familiar
Looks back upon itself from later,
And seems itself.

To-day seems now.
With reality-to-be goes time.
With the mind goes a world.
Wit the heart goes a weather.
With the face goes a mirror
As with the body a fear.
Young self goes staring to the wall
Where dumb futurity speaks calm,
And between then and then
Forebeing grows of age.

The mirror mixes with the eye.
Soon will it be the very eye.
Soon will the eye that was
The very mirror be.
Death, the final image, will shine
Transparently not otherwise
Than as the dark sun described
With such faint brightnesses.
