All The Sadness I Can Never Write

All the sadness I can never write
And all the joy, I suppose, also,
It is more than what we can say
The feeling the endless feeling
The subtleties even of our pains-
We hint at them
We name them in general
But the feelings
The endless flow of feelings
They are beyond our words-

Even in exuberance
We are more mystery to ourselves
Than we can say-
And even in shades of names other times invent
We cannot tell the colors of our souls all truly-

All These Feelings

ALL THESE FEELINGS

All these feelings and their imprecise names
Joy and Sadness and Love
And Anger And Pain
And Mercy and Kindness
And Beauty and Lust
And Hunger and Sadness
And Love and Loneliness
And Anger and Peace from Pain-

Names and names
Feelings and more feelings
Life and more life
Living and feeling and not understanding
What it is
Even as it is
To the end of my days -

My Idea Of A Good Day

There will be no sleep
The pains of hunger
The searing burn of thirst
Discomfort
But not discontentment
A feeling of loneliness amongst the overwhelming presence
A feeling of depression amidst the joy
A feeling of chaos amidst the peace
A feeling of confusion amidst the wisdom
A feeling of dejection amidst the love

There will be success
The delights of a feast
The coolness of an iced drink
Contentment
Complacency
A feeling of completion amidst inner brokenness
A feeling of happiness amidst inner death
A feeling of peacefulness amidst inner turmoil
A feeling of wisdom amidst inner misunderstanding
A feeling of camaraderie amidst an inner and overwhelming loneliness

Here's a hint, my idea of a good day isn't based on feelings.

I Did Not Want To Write Poems Of Sadness

I DID NOT WANT TO WRITE POEMS OF SADNESS

I did not want to write poems of sadness
But when sadness takes over one’s life?
The words are what the feelings are
They can try to be better
But ultimately
The true poem is the feelings
And now at this moment
Sadness is the poem
Sadness which waits for the morning light
And prays to God it will be truly ligh

Emotions

i am feeling empty inside
maybe! it's because the feelings that i hide?
at times it's a feeling of loneliness
and at times, it's loves and desires hidden away.
but with all this i have to say.

i will never change the sensations
of feeling different emotions.
love, joy, sadness, bitterness, sorrow, anxieties, and stress.
but closeness is the one i love the best.

to be close and to be inspired, is my lifelong desire.
to have someone to hug you and to tell
you that everything is going to be alright.
and that someone is there, when you're down and out
that is what emotions is all about.

i found love and it was bursting to be free
a love, so deeply hidden inside of me.
i saw the love in someone elses eyes
feelings and emotions that they could not hide.

i felt their exhileration, and each and every sensation.
i felt the pains that a heart must go through
to bring all feelings closer to you.
the heart and the mind work hand in hand
but it is the soul that makes the plan.

(is it the mind that tells the heart what is love, what is pain.
what is sorrow? or is it the heart that tells the mind these things?)

the soul is the one that instills all these things into us
and this is what we have to trust.

emotions is lifes key
it could make you a slave, or set you free.

Endless Dark

Softly the light shines in through
Gates of grace on me and you
Deceiving our restless hearts
A flickering flame so serene
It fires the night so we could see
Feeling alone so strong
And I know where I belong
Away from your guards
That heal our wounds in life
This endless dark
Endless dark
This endless dark
Lovely the light shines on you
Through the gates of fire entombed
Feeling on your own
Weak is the blaze that kept me away
From cruelty and tenderness embraced
Saving my soul no more
And I know where I belong
Away from your guards
That heal our wounds in life
This endless dark
Endless dark
This endless dark
I know where I belong
Away from you guards
That heal our wounds in life,
This endless dark
The shadow on you that tamed your burning heart
That buried my truth right into your arms
The words of the tomb of I fall on lone
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark
That heal our wounds and light , this endless dark

Feelings For You

I can't deny it of course, it is true
I have such strong feelings for you
Without you, I just can't be
You're the one that now is a part of me

I can't stand the times we're away from each other
The days feel endless without one another
Each night, I long to be held closely in your arms
Your presence keeps me sane, away from my inner depression's harm

You repaired my broken soul, saved me from so much
You brought me alive just from the feeling of your touch
The feeling of your lips just lit the spark
And overall, you saved me from the dark

You mean so much to me, more than you will ever know
Without you, my emotions transform me into someone so dark and dull
I can't live without you, I need you with me
A life with you is what I want, can't you see...

Sadness, depression, such emotions fade away
Just by having you with me brightens any day
My life, with you, has so much meaning
And life, without you, is an emotional hell that is entirely depressing...

To Women As Far As I'm Concerned

The feelings I don't have I don't have.
The feeling I don't have, I won't say I have.
The feelings you say you have, you don't have.
The feelings you would like us both to have, we neither of us have.
The feelings people ought to have, they never have.
If people say they've got feelings, you may be pretty sure they haven't got them.
So if you want either of us to feel anything at all
You'd better abandon all ideas of feelings altogether.

I'll Take That As A Yes

You were so reasonable:
'I'm thinking that both you and I need some space.'

I am thinking 'you are leaving me and trying to let me down easily.'
And you were.
'I have been feeling like both of us are going through the motions lately'

You are speaking for me and my feelings? Better to ask me how I feel.

'And I am wondering if you are really satisfied in this relationship? '

Asking me about my feelings? What about yours? Tell me about yours.'

'I have been feeling that we need to back away, moving too fast.'

Humm, is there an ideal pace?
Do you feel the need to invent space for the need to leave me?

'I think it would be good for both of us'

So in all of this you are thinking not only of you, but mostly of me?
So answer me this- is there someone else?

'No of course not'

So I will take that as a yes.

I Can't See My Feeling

(Burke Shelley, Tony Bourge, Steve Williams)
[Originally by Budgie]
I can't see my feelings
Open my eyes
I can't see my feelings
Open a pair of eyes
I can't see my feelings
Keep them behind
I just keep on reeling
Running back down the line
Oh, I can't stand that screaming
Don't even try
Music fans some feelings
It'll be tell me why
I can't stop that feeling
Showing me why
Man I love that feeling
Yeah, blowin' me right through the sky
Oh hey hey hey hey hey hey
Oh, listen to what she says
If it's good, it's nice

My Poetry

Through poetry,
I am set free
Better able to reveal
The secret part of me
That hides beyond the shadows
In my eyes

Every poem that I write,
Tells my life in different parts
I bare my soul, although vulnerable,
I share with you
What's in my heart
Exploring the corners of my mind
I mold into words,
The feelings I find

Each thought expressed
Is uniquely told
Wrapping itself around
The meaning it holds
Emotions are endless
It's understanding that I seek
It's simply easier at times
To write the words I cannot speak

Beyond The Poem

BEYOND THE POEM

Beyond the poem
Beyond any and all words
Are the feelings
Which names can only imperfectly echo -

Why we live and why we die
We try to say
But all that we feel
Moves through us as a mystery
We only hint at with our words
And guess at with our definitions -

We live and we feel beyond Poetry
And nothing not even the words of humble denial
Can touch us when we are out far beyond where we were born alone.

THEY ARE POETS TOO, You are a poet!

THEY ARE POETS TOO, You are a poet!

THOSE who misspell
And those who are still coping up
With their metaphors
The techniques
Of rhyme & beat
Those who think
They do not
Know how to
Write poetry
And those
Who fear
What to say
What to write
What the others say
About their poetry
And those that doubt
Their writing
Abilities
Their thoughts

Their feelings
Their feelings
Their feelings
Yes
Yes
Their feelings

Or those who simply
Fear that they may only
Be displeasing
And disappointing

And those whose
Sense of confidence
About this thing
This poetry
This poem thing
Those that still
Hide what they
Feel to what they
Think

Is prose

Those who think that
Their life
Is not worth
Sharing in the
The beat and
Rhyme of poetry

Behold
The mere thought
About life
About a beating heart
The pulse
The eyes that blink
The fingers fidgety
That type the words

Of feelings
Of feelings
Yes
Yes
About feelings
It is all about feelings

The genuine feelings
Of your life
You type them
Each word
To another word
A chain of words
A long chain of words

Like playing the music
To the piano keys
Like strumming
The strings of a
Flamenco guitar

A certain music
A certain beat
To the sound
Of your computer keys
Hear the beat
And the rhyme
Of your computer keys
Each word
To another word
To a chain of words
To a longer chain of words
You are running a chain of feelings
You are chasing a chain of feelings long chained in your hearts wanting to be free

To be free
To be free
Yes
Yes
You, feeling to be free to run free to be all free

Like you were scattering red rose petals to this pedestal
Like you were sprinkling waters to this garden
Like you were splashing waters in the sea
Like you were bathing playing dancing in the rain
Like you were humming a tune to a trek on a hill
Like you were making love with your beloved the whole night

Behold
A poet in you is born

Behold
You are typing
A poem

You are
Feeling

And you are
By all means

Now a poet

I hereby baptize you
With that name.

Bad Feelings.

Sad feelings are like a dime a dozen....
Always, like a prescription, always filled.

Sad feelings do come and go...
To, happy feelings, slow the woe.

Sad times infest to a lot of people, in general...
A blanketed cover that enshrouds them all.

Sad feelings inherit the Earth...
Even, after death, before thy birth.

Depression blackens and darkens the soul...
Until at last, psychologically, we are renewed as whole.

Hope Never Dies

Loving is tough,
But loosing
And
Trying to forget it
Is tougher.
Because,
This 'Hope' never dies

The feeling,
That
One day
They will just pick up that pen
And
Write back a long, loving, longing letter.
The feeling,
that
one day
they will
forgive your follies
And
Gather you back from where they left.
These feelings are
Because,
This Hope never dies

The feeling,
that
they might
one day
turn around
and
wave back
and
include you in their long run.
The feeling,
that
one day
they might
just reach out
And
Call you endearingly again
“Sweet heart”, “my love”
These feelings are
Because,
This Hope never dies

The feeling,
that
they might
one day
just walk in
Back into your life
Through that door
So tightly, mercilessly closed (that you keep eyeing all the time)
The feeling,
that
they might
one day
hold your hand,
look deep into your eyes
and
wisper again
those exclusive three words
(“I love you”.)
These feelings are
Because,
This Hope never dies.

Wake up, fellas
To smell the coffee (possibly with a piece of chocolate cake)
These are dreams
Bubbles on top of
A roaring stream.(they don’t have a future)

I know
You tried hard
possibly
Even harder
But
What to do
this silly
Hope never dies (nice blame game) .

Loving is tough,
But loosing
And
Trying to forget it
Is tougher.
because,
This Hope never dies.

It pains me to love you

It pains me to love you
~
These feelings forever change
From admiration to love to hate
What words I have spoken
To leave you without comfort
That you are unable to speak to me
To look me in the eye
Am I to apologise for my words
For saying you are beautiful
And forgive your lies
In saying you did not mind
As any would be happy to hear them
It pains my heart to love you
It cuts my soul to hate you
That I am unsure of any feeling
Each sway and twist of a thought
Leaves me further at a loss
How each feeling changes
To forget about you for a moment
Then be caught in a dream of you
I wish I could take back my words
And leave you in an innocence
Of my love, my admiration
And how I hate to hate you

Numbness.....

we do not invent feelings
feelings make us, that is how helpless we can be sometimes
when we let that be
but somehow when we feel too pushed
to that edge
we rebel against our own feelings that have deceived us for years
and so we begin
sometimes to manipulate feelings
reinvent them and
from said creations we rearrange what we are
and what we can be

less the feelings we are looked up to as the most
realistic
successors of this earth
its deserving
inheritors

we have so many look-a-likes
rivers that flow without their minds on their direction
they just follow the path of least resistance
mountains that grow peaks without thinking
that heaven can be pierced
plains that spread without their hands and arms
occupying what we think is unnecessary

rocks and cliffs and sands and gravel
we are their gods now.

Writer's Disposal

Hurt and tense are writer's slaves
So she'll slash through page by page
Burning holes with vivid tongue
Still the feeling strikes as young

Through and through this time again
Misery welcomes her like a friend
Slash and slash and through and through
She spells her feelings as if they're new

Instead of skin she beats a page
A healthy cure, sure, lest she names
These demons, the things that she writes about
That she names other names to give them doubts

Things like this she knows all too well
Her hurts and pains often etch the spell
Before she even thinks to open her eyes
She's solved her feelings with a metaphor for cries

These nameless names named through and through
She possibly could be writing of you
And name you a snake; what harm is there in that?
Proof, invalid; your name is intact

These nameless things she knows all too well
You might not know but help etch her spell
Because intended or vicious, her works are neither

You'd ask what they're about; but she might not know either

Take Me To New Highs, You Take Me

I never knew a feeling could be felt like this before.
You take me to new highs,
You take me.

I never knew a feeling could be felt like this before.
You take me to new highs,
You take me.

These,
Feelings...
I never knew.
And you take me.

I never knew a feeling could be felt like this before.
You take me to new highs,
You take me.

I never knew a feeling could be felt like this before.
You take me to new highs,
You take me.

These,
Feelings...
I never knew.
And, you take me.

You have seen...
More than I like.
More than I might,
Have exposed.
Before you came.

And you,
Have seen...
More than I like.
Than I might,
Have exposed.

There's no mystique,
How you keep me excited.
There's this heat underneath,
I can't hide if I tried.

I'm trying to be,
Calm on the outside!
But I can't deny,
You take me to new highs.

I never knew a feeling could be felt like this before.
You take me to new highs,
You take me.

I never knew a feeling could be felt like this before.
You take me to new highs,
You take me.

These,
Feelings...
I never knew.
And you take me.

I never knew a feeling could be felt like this before.
You take me to new highs,
You take me.

I never knew a feeling could be felt like this before.

And you take me.

Why Do I Write

I write from my sadness
I write from the madness
I write because I have something to say
I write to pass the day
I write only from the heart
I write for sometimes I am not that smart
Whatever is in head just comes out on paper (in this case a word document) , and I go with the flow
Write to let my mind go

I follow my hand to where ever it takes me
I write all the things that I can see
I write when I am happy, but not as much
I write from my heart that you can touch
I write because I’d go insane
I am driven to write quell my pain

At times I feel alone so I write what I am feeling
I write for it is self-healing
Confident not so I write it all away
I write and write to pass the day
I write to comfort my soul that cries out in the night
I write for love is always out of sight
I write so I don't have to cry any more
I write for I have no one to adore
I write so someone somewhere will hear my plea
I write for someone is out there for me
I am lost and I the clown
I write to turn my frown upside down

I write to embrace the sadness I hide inside
I write with my heart opened wide
I write to silence the ghost
I write for I’ve been let down by the one I loved the most
I write through the stormy weather
I write for I am light as a feather
I am not a writer nor am I a poet
I write for the grief I do know it

I will write until I draw my last breath
I write because I'll die a lonely death
I have to write for strangers delight
I write because I have to write
I write for my own happiness
I write to relieve my stress
I write because I have no other choice
I write as if I was writing a letter
I write because I can’t do any better
I write because I am afraid not to
I write for this is what I do
I write for I give a damn
I write just because I am
