Spare me the last sip!
May your cup brim, not with old memories, but ties renewed
Across the impending miles, heart pledged, soul yielded, sparkle
With dew over the spray's edge, when blossoms their satin's spread
With visions to realize in the present. Its glass, hold secrets of the stars
Beaming ascent, -out a maze, a heaven in their gaze. Its foam's kiss
Tinkling, sound, the flap of fairies' wings, at the dropp of eyelids, after a wish.
Its milky vapors thaw every pain, like the moon an amulet that holds the heart
In restrain. Their lusters return, warmth to your eyes, promising as two butterflies
Waltzing in a steadfast beam, to reveal a smile like the glee of the first stars
To grace the dusky skies, causing an old pang to resurface on the sidewalk
Of spring. Then raise it to love that rewards the wait, well-earned joy,
For which eager hands ache, your presence stir, the everlasting keepsake.
And drink to our share of ardent love and life. Done, spare me the last sip,
To still contain, faith to regain, left behind after a drink and a sigh.

Ah Summer
Ah, summer
Holds me in its embrace.
That perfumed kiss
On the breeze
Winging bliss through the trees.
They dress so fair,
And jewels of sunlight everywhere
Dancing across that sleeping lake.
Drying dewdropp tears
As cooler dawn does break.
Ah, summer
Warms me with its unseen love.
She walks the meadow
As stars above
Tell me just to wait.
Our hearts will beat in time
With fate.
In the evening
Of new dreams.
As love is never as it seems.
Ah, summer
I fix my gaze
Upon red skies

You are the reason
When we meet walking in the dawn of this faraway world
Stars would dropp their vigil over us,
And sunny hours would bare their brilliance,
Like butterflies with newly -unfurled colored wings.
The morning star's same palpitating hush would take a new meaning
With its guiding light, see us to our journey's end
With a twinkle, bless our reunion.
I shall know those dark eyes from which I nurture
Like the living grass and flowers that rejoice in the glance of the sun,
Those eyes whose gaze I could once catch in starless nights,
Its fragrance kept ever fresh through the memory of an earlier quest.
Then, raise my eyes to catch in there
Still lingering some shadow of the other days
Like the fragrance of that forest air that gathered
an enchantment in your presence.
For a moment bear with me if I forget myself.
Be in no hurry, it is for you I wait
What other reason could there be?
Times remain unchanged; cause deep in my heart
I guard a sweeping passion from times onslaught.
Kindling away through those stormy times to fuel itself in your care,
Like the tired waves seeking the destination's tranquil shores, pay the journey's fare.

Stars have eyes
Did anyone ever see the eyes on stars?
The eyes on stars full of soul
Look any longer they take control

'You must remember this...a kiss is
just a kiss...a sigh is just a sigh, ' etc.
With you...nothing...nothing, could be
further from the truth.
Your kiss, is a ride among the stars,
a shower of moon beams and a
sailboat ride, in the Garden Of Eden.
Kissing you...is an out of body experience,
a transport to paradise and a creation
of ultimate passion and joy.
Kissing, every part of who you are, is
truly a banquet of love.
Let me feast of your love and of your lips,

I Want
To welcome you into my kingdom & shut out the sea,
Where on every cascading tree &sun-filled path,
sing chirpy birds & bumble bees,
To fill with their glee all your sensibilities,
An altar lit by your steadfast faith in me.
Here I slide down the walls of a flower cup,
Like the dew, collect in their receptacle
And catch you wink in the glint of the sun,
The intrigue in your eyes unload their burden.
Here rocks brood on the imperative to act,
Like your nearness binds me in a spell distraught,
Waving fields bare open to serene skies,
Only those in love could know of such wantonness.
Here I run my fingers through the satin grass,
the wind cannot break,
As I lay down, lost in their trampled immensity,
nothing can shake,
In a fog burned by the morning sun, wish you were there,
In its breath only your words come to warm the ache.
Here on a faint wind, the pining moon floats, dragging wispy clouds,
Carrying your voice, throws a soft light of stupor beneath,
To play in whispers around my shoulders,
Was that your laughter shading my grief?
Putting words to my feelings and embers under my feet.
Here at the edge of the cliff I live the dare,
Till you return every time you turn away,
Firm in my faith like the tawny leaf fluttering away,
Not giving in, even after the season’s languid sway.
Here expectant I count the scales of the mackerel sky,
Watch the lotus balance atop the water’s edge
Under the summer skies tamed into surrender by the rainbows,
With blossoms burst into easy laughter & easy tears,
in a measure of time’s wedge.
Here I rest on pillows stuffed with old spells of happy days,
Waking at night & muttering at dawn like the creatures of the night.
Every half shut bud in half a dream carries your smile to my lips,
A wonder that also holds the trusting butterflies aloft.
Here soar our dreams like colored birds, our playthings
The price of our lives the wax in our wings,
Today I want to lead you by the hand & take you there,
When I shall return to life without having lived

Stars, the eyes of the world

Sweetest songs fall under their spell
And along with blue moon
Ring the softest bell.
Shooting stars
Gunned me down
Yet i fell without a sound
Your passion was so profound.
This aurora
From Interflora
I sent you in my dreams
As i watched in silver streams
Our starlight slipping away.
Stars, our memories collected in jars
That we keep for a rainy day,
To spread over our dismay
To hide our battle scars

LOVE = BEST of THE REST = FOREVER!
LOVE
No rope or cable can hold so tight
What love can do with twine.
No kiss can taste so bittersweet
As the one which captures our mind.
The first sign of love is the last of wisdom
As eager hearts fulfill desire.
Love is just a staple of life
Though heaven sparks the fire.
Heaven knows no rage like love
Once to hatred it has turned.
How wise are we who are such fools
Who forget the lessons we've learned.
Love, indeed, descends from heaven
Like a shooting star across the sky.
Love sometimes stirs the dust,
Till tears fall free from the eye.
EYES OF LOVE
A mind may see a thousand eyes
Though the heart yearns for two
When the eyes we love have up and gone
To the arms of someone new.
Eyes that twinkle, I distrust
For they are the distant stars.
Eyes in love have a steady glow
Like Venus, the Moon or Mars.
Eyes of love, like planets at night
Use borrowed light to shine.
Eyes are the living lenses
To the camera of our mind.
Eyes tend to believe themselves
Like the blind love of mothers.
Eyes speak without words
To the hearts and souls of others.
ESTHER'S LOVE
Esther of God's Bible became a king's queen
Risking all for the sake of love.
She saved her people form total extinction
By responding to her call from above.
All through history just like Esther
Ladies have pledged to protect and serve.
They love, honor, defend and provide
And it's our admiration they've earned and deserve.
What would life be without a woman's love
Meaningless, lonely, purposeless and sad.
When your blessed by an Esther love her in return
And be sure to let God know you're thankful and glad.
EVERY OTHER NIGHT
If it was left to me and my desire
I would seek satisfaction every other night.
I would enjoy your divine, God given love
And hold you forever close and tight.
Every other night would be Heavenly for me
Though I must respect and honor what you do and say.
My need for you is far greater than your need for me
As I patiently wait for our time of play.
I will always remain watchful, loving and caring
Not to hurt, destroy, mistrust, dissatisfy or offend.
Out of all God's blessings from Heaven to Earth
You're my greatest treasure, passion and friend.

Miscalculations
nine plates of my total trust
nine plates of my eternal love
all to you i'll serve forever
to my moon, my goddess, my dove
my voice is lost in endless night
you, the moon, spark my fight
the battle within to tell you all
theirs our winning, mine will fall
to the floor to lay in dirt
my secrets within excite the hurt
secrets screaming to get out
all to you, i have no doubt
you are the moon, way out there
i want you here, it's just not fair
a beacon of trust i hope you'll give
for me to see so i can live
when were apart my heart is strained
when i'm with you i feel no pain
for all you deserve, i am inadequate
i tell my heart 'do not fret
she will realize how much we care'
'she never will, it's just not fair'
you strike my heart's most trusting strings
it longs to tell you all those things
that keep me up late at night
those things that cause the awful fright
'all these things she want not know'
'you'll never know 'less you ask her so'
tumbling in this endless plight
heart and soul in eternal fight
'we love her so, we both know that'
'but an eyelash she has yet to bat
to acknowledge that she even cares'
but i love that moon, it's just not fair

i wish i knew how you felt for me
soon the sun to push you away
i’ll hate the sun, there’s no other way
it separates me from your goddess presence
it hurts so much, am i doing penance?
i know for me you just can’t care
i hate the sun, it’s just not fair
the moon’s the only one for me
o! the moon, if she could only see
what i could do if she let me try
a chance she’ll never give, so i sigh
a sigh of sorrow and numbing pain
your lack of acknowledgement drives me insane
your beauty is too much to bear
i’ll go blind, it’s just not fair
i love your skin, your ears, your back
i love everything about you, i can’t keep track
your everlasting lunar glow
i love you moon, you’ll never know
to what extents i will go
to strike my pathetic lover’s blow
an arrow through your brilliant gaze
to you my hands will be raised
to ever hurt you, i wouldn’t dare
i love you so, it’s just not fair
i wish you liked me, i wish it was true
but that, my moon, you will never do
you are there, i am here
parted too long i start to fear
doubt chokes my courage with fear
i want to taste your emerald tear
for, i feel, it will help me out
in slaying this thing they call doubt
with the moon all my secrets i’ll share
but moon you’re too beautiful, it’s just not fair
i dream of the moon every night, every day
i’d compliment the moon, but what can i say?
nothing i say can do a thing
to make her look at the gifts i bring
my trust, my love, my eternal worship
she does not accept, and my heart – it rips
to lie no more in her warm bed
twists the emotions trapped in my head
forever together is my one dream
me and the moon, and her endless gleam
just one wink from that emerald eye
just one wink and then i can die
forever at peace with memories of her
i would be happy, that’s for sure
moon, you’ve soothed all my turmoil
now i’m one with mother soil
when i’m with you there is no despair
forever? never! it’s just not fair
while i’m with you, delightfully i quake
when i’m not, desperately i shake
all the words i need to speak
no, i can’t, my words they reek
no words can ever capture your essence
the reddest rose – a weed in your presence
the spotlight, on you, should always fall
the greatest story, nothing but scrawl
the tallest building, a hill of ants
you’re perfect face leaves me in a trance
among the stars you’re fit to play
among the stars you sleep by day
a perfect face in a perfect sky
i reach for the moon, i try and try
but the moon’s too far overhead
in her footsteps i dare not tread
for i would spoil her moon-lit charm
she’s too good, i’d just cause harm
enough is what i’ll never be
pity is what the moon gives me
the moon and i, what a pair

MY WILD ROSE
You 're the full moon of my nights
And the sunshine of my day
Like a queen upon her throne
You rule what I do and say.
It's God who makes us beautiful
And the Devil who makes us mean
It all depends on whom we follow
Which way our lives shall lean.
With one foot in the future
And one foot in the past
Let us try to live our days
As though each was our last.

It's hard to believe Heaven planned it this way

I treasure our moments and all that we share

I love how you love me beyond all compare
I've never seen anyone so wonderful so long.

Every night before sleep I say thank you to Heaven
For the past day I was allowed to love you and serve.
And if I awake I say thank you once more
For God has blessed me far beyond what I deserve.

Slowly the sun sinks, as does my heart
When twilight beckons.
My light expired when you left my gaze.
I grope in the dark for a kindle
In this cave they call the world
But only you illuminate heaven's stars.
The dawn breaks, as does my heart,
I look for your lips but can only kiss a shadow
Thrown across the ember of your eyes
While white dove disappears into weeping skies
That the world calls rain.
The clock stops, as does my heart
Because love doesn't walk, it flies
I died when our lips did part
Despite the mask of life's disguise.
Ah chance i see like vapour rise
As my hands bleed to hang on.
Your beauty's written across the skies
I blink and then your gone.
Yet love's eternal spring
Will take away the sting
Until we sing- together.
