The Terrible
This terracotta urn
contains the ashes
of an earth-baked dream.
You worship the setting sun,
rape of dawn will continue.
Intravenous entry of hope
had failed.
Outside the window
crowd of heirlooms, falling like stars.
Thoughts come and go, we hunted opportunities in vain.
Tonight I will dropp the wheels
on the tarmac, to roll the pride.
My flight had knocked out
the sleeping pain. Now amnesia
will help me to climb on the moon’s shoulders.
They dragged her in the field,
the most deprived one. Was outraged.

The Sowing
Upon the wind sheltered hillside,
the sharp tang of metal and the sting of salt air lay
over a field of blood-red poppies, no Flander's Field.
At years fall, fields of rape roll like waves,
in the harshness of winter-sleet, stray boulders bow;
like the backs of mothers, daughters sowing.
Their nails torn, ragged and bleeding.
They bleed by the moon, and son upon the field.
No white crosses mark their passing.
For hundreds of years, and crops of rape, barley and wheat;
small hands, soft hands, and soft thighs bleed.
They bleed daughters, and sons.
They birth the fields and in the fields by consent or rape;
unadorned by silver stars or purple hearts.
Today, as May's sun wakes the blood blasted pasture,
each precious dropp blooms…..a heroines acknowledgement

I feel your pain running deep,
By the light of the moon I see you weep,
Lost and lonely in a crowd,
You shout your thoughts out loud,
Is there nothing sacred on earth?
Is there no love without dirt?

My Flag
The red I see should stand for valor
but blood is what I see.
The white I see should stand for pureness
but surrender is what I see.
The blue I see should stand for courage
but sadness is what I see.
Now the flag will fly
and I will cry
for those who don't see like me
that this flag we all revered
will go down in history
as a dream deferred
for the dream is blurred
so it's not flying for the free.

...In our waters of sadness
I laid myself on an illusory island of hope.
On the illusory island of hope
I was marooned, without your love.
Your love died haunting
My shadow of dream.
My shadow of dream echoed your laughter.
Your laughter was a falling curtain

Let me remove the obstacles for you to climb..
When we think that we are at the top of the hill,
Those who are at the tip of the mountain say,
'Hi, you are at the bottom of us.'
Then we realize that we have a long way to go!
Not an easy task to climb these terrains,
Where all obstacles pave our way.
Not an unaccomplished act to leave in vain,
When thousands made their hay.
When focus the top, the pain may vanish,
we may enjoy the journey, not that smooth.
When we imagine the victory,
we may enjoy the pain for its glory.
Do not give up half way for the fear of falling down,
as the falling is normal on earth's gravity.
Even it is for a few moments of our life,
Let us strive to achieve what little that we can.

He was not him,
today the day ended with a boom,
had walked aimlessly for hours
in half fear and half hope.
Window filters a new moon. It
burns the pillow, wets the glass,
had he kissed goodbye
to the glass house?
Tired of being a dwarf
bridging the gap between hurts and animus.
The truth was only known to the deported.
Smoldering in the cauldron for years
he was never ripe for the plunge;
his kind refused to cling to straw for ever.

Letter To My Husband
Holding tight to hope is, as if, holding a quivering bird relieves fear.
Hope, the dream I dream.
Love turned into pain, yet 'to hope is to risk pain. 'The plans we planned slowly
Slipped through our fingers like our sand castle on the beach,
Still, love is the dream I dream.
We're in the dream of all the things dreamt: my bag stolen, wallet emptied, others pointed out three teenage thieve, chasing them, falling to my knees, 'the cost of loss is grief, ' losing was the dream I dreamt.
I send this letter with tears in eyes, love on my tongue, with love and hope
In my heart: life's not lost to death but the minutes, hours, and days of uncaring ways.
