Poinsettia

What was that inside you
which was not ready to accept
the compound folly of a man?

What worry do I carry tonight
to my bed?
An intentional leap into the very
fire of mind?

A virgin garden battles with a storm
It is ready to mince the words
for a carnal smell of poinsettia,
and I am going to lower the guard
from wrinkled eyes.

Like a thong around the neck
to obtain the tongue.
I turn towards the blood of game
global erosion of love and waxen defeat!

Dont keep me watching your charms all the while

You make me feel things Ive never felt before
Help my baby eyes and open up the door
You make me real to everyone and everyday i
I thank the lord that you came along this way

The Dream Murderer

DO NOT think ill of him
this giver of misfortune
this killer of your dreams
for he does not think ill of you

he is the waker of your sleepy nights
so you may be like the virgin
prepared with the oil and the light
and the lamp
for the thief

think of him as a portend
a harbinger
an angel for the coming of your
many deaths
so you can live
forever

think of yourself as the child
who wants to have backbones and wings
and venom

when he is not gone you are ready for your own battles
armored knight of the night
vertebrate manager
winged god
dragon ready with its mouth and tongue of fire
venomous snake
holy cow.

My Love Fantasy (I am ready for love)

I'm ready for love but love is not ready for me
How come this wasn't suppose to be
Be free, happy but not lonely just loving truly
I am ready for love so ready for love........
Love is what I am
Playing back in my mind is this for real this time
I am ready love so so ready for love
For deep in my heart I found that special one
What's his name? ? ? ?
That's not important but i am so ready for love
Thinking about how much love I have to give to that special person
Thinking about how he makes me feel inside
I felt as if I could just cry
Crying is not my specialty
But thinking about him brings tears to my eyes
Because honestly he makes me happy
Sometimes I ask myself 'WHY? '
WONDERING WONDERING
All I can say is I Love Him.
I am ready for love.

Guardian Angel

Be my guard just for tonight, that is all Im asking for
Take me under your wing, I cant make it anymore
I am so full of fear, may you read a book to me
And when the shadows grow wont you stay with me
Will you be my guard tonight. that is all Im asking for
Will you be my guard tonight, that is all I need to know
Be my guard beside my bed, that is all I need to know
Will you please hold my hand, dont you ever let it go
All the wonders of the world for a little second more
I cant speak but cant you see, its your touch Im crying for
Will you be my guard tonight. that is all Im asking for
Will you be my guard tonight, that is all I need to know
Be my guard just until dawn, when I can hear the birds again
Im as helpless as can be, will you guard my little flame
If we never meet again, you shall always keep in mind
That you were my guard tonight, that you were my guard tonight
Will you be my guard tonight. . .

Kajura

My love for you is like the big mango tree in my compound,
Upon which sits the monkey to look at you;
But i will follow you to Hew Guinea!
Of fowls, ducks, goats ans sheep to play in this compound;
And it is like the rice and chicken that you love to eat,
But we will sleep well under this mosquito net of love.
Don't worry my love,
For the centre of my compound is this mango tree!
And we should take life as it is around us,
For my love for you is like the big mango tree in my compound.
You and i have to accept this chronology and,
There is a place for us to sit and drink at times;
So come and drink a bottle of whisky with me tonight.
Kajura my love,
I want to tell you more about myself and more about life!
But the myth of love is all that hangs arouns us,
And i am the leader around here to lead you on.

The Front Line

The unknown causes fear for most,
but I look at it as,
a friend waiting for me.
It could be good,
could be bad,
but all I know is,
I'm ready for it.
I'm ready to run if I must,
I'm ready to draw my sword,
I'm ready to fight till
my final breath,
a true fight till
the death.
Get in line,
all armor on and firm,
for tonight blood will be poured out
upon all people,
those with swords,
and those with shields,
all will feel such pain.
Are you ready,
to draw your sword
then step out onto
the front line?
Are you ready,
to say good-bye,
to those you loved?
Life isn't easy,
so think fast and come quick,
run now and you won't
need to worry,
about the blood others will shed.
Run and be quick,
hurry and escape.
before they take my life,
all because
I tried to save yours.

Are You Ready?

Are you ready, are you ready?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Are you ready to meet jesus?
Are you where you ought to be?
Will he know you when he sees you
Or will he say, depart from me?
Are you ready, hope youre ready.
Am I ready, am I ready?
Am I ready, am I ready?
Am I ready to lay down my life for the brethren
And to take up my cross?
Have I surrendered to the will of god
Or am I still acting like the boss?
Am I ready, hope Im ready.
When destruction cometh swiftly
And theres no time to say a fare-thee-well,
Have you decided whether you want to be
In heaven or in hell?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Have you got some unfinished business?
Is there something holding you back?
Are you thinking for yourself
Or are you following the pack?
Are you ready, hope youre ready.
Are you ready?
Are you ready for the judgment?
Are you ready for that terrible swift sword?
Are you ready for armageddon?
Are you ready for the day of the lord?
Are you ready, I hope youre ready.

Blind

Jesus walked again last night through the garden
With Eve and they spoke of seduction, corruption, temptation and defeat
Scoffing at her weakness
I was struck to my knees
And found myself among the apples
And my resistance growing weak
And my faith was faded to apathy
Just keep believing
That I'm so free, yeah
And if my eyes go blind
Don't worry, I won't mind
The truth is something they have never seen
Oh yeah
Oh, that jaundice moon that filled that sky
And bathed the sacred ground
I wrestled with my angel and I pinned her to the ground
Gloating at my prowess while I basked in her defeat
I noticed Satan had her by the ankles
And he held her down for me
And my mind was jaded, hypocrisy
Just keep believing
That I'm so free
And if my eyes go blind
Don't worry, I won't mind
Won't believe a thing that they have seen
Oh oh, nah yeah, oh yeah
Reaching for that reddish rose
Eyeing of its thorns
And they slashed my wrist and blead my body
What a killing thorn
Oh, that red rose don't smell so sweet no more
And if my eyes go blind
Don't worry, I won't mind
The truth is something they have never seen
Oh, and if my eyes go blind
Don't worry, I won't mind
The truth is something they could never see
I don't believe a thing that they have seen
Oh no, they can't see, my god they cannot see me
No, they won't believe, they won't believe
They won't believe, they won't believe
They can't believe, they can't believe
Oh no, Jesus walked again last night through the garden with me

Yes, I Am

You never asked me to love you
I did it all by myself
You didnt make me no promises
You read my feelings so well
Chorus
Oh wow wow what youve done for me
Oh wow wow even a fool could see
Oh wow wow what you mean to me
You didnt ask no questions
I wouldnt tell you no lies
I didnt need any answers
They were there in your eyes
Dont stop me from falling
I cant get enough
You took the pain from my body
Now Im ready for love
Yes I am
Ive been alone in the shadows
Too many nights by myself
So many dreams have been shattered
You know the story so well
Chorus
I didnt see no fireworks
And the earth never moved
But when were lying together
Ive got nothing to prove
You gave me your kisses I cant get enough
You put the fire in my heart
And Im ready for love
Yes I am
People try to analyse
They worry is it right
But it really doesnt matter to me
Theres no reason when you really fall in love
'cause you cant stop it
Wont drop it
Dont even think about it
Hold on tight and never let it go
Chorus
You took the pain from my body
And Im ready for love
You took the pain from my body
And Im ready for love
Yes I am ready for love
Yes I am ready for love
Yes I am ready for love
Yes I am
