O You
A monster from a tree
jumps and runs around the bushes
to mate.
A blank statement
is issued. The system groans
and collective pshyche fails.
A stark silence
for the food for thoughts.
I sit down to meditate-
to find the bloody answer
for white death. The dirty
work to sweep the floor.
It smells like an
amputated leg.
Do we need to draw a circle around the bomb?
With a lie on your lips,
are you going to negotiate
with violence?

Another Shadow At Dawn Standing By The Side Of The Sea
at dawn you are one shadow
against a dying light looking
for warmth because
the sea breeze is cold
because the sound of the
shore is one deadening
silence
you meet another shadow
and it is looking at you
and you do not talk
since the other too is
silent
both shadows decide
to depart and find
another direction where
they do not meet anymore
you thought that this world
is one lonely circle
you thought that this loneliness
runs in a circle
and so the two of you meet
again
and again you make the
kind of departure
silence to silence
death upon death

While Silence Is Her Refuge
He crushed her being,
spat on her education,
raked her self-confidence
burned her plans
charted in the kitchen
where her work was never done.
Violence upon violence
visited her scar-ridden body
The pain so severe
she could not even scream.
Silence was her refuge.
Her wounds ran much deeper
than sisters could imagine
But she swam alone in the
sea of her nightmares and anguish
fears covered, cries stifled
Silence was her refuge.
The crowd had a million ears
but not one for the moans
of a sister’s tortured soul
It taunted her for her questions
crucified her for her speech
Word of pain was infamy
The crowd rubbed salt on the
raw, bleeding wound
Since then, silence became her refuge
A daughter now does the work
that is never done
Her spirit protests not
numbed by her mother’s death
and her own, for like her mother
she died a hundred deaths
and will die a hundred more
because silence is her refuge.
The crowd does not know
that silence betrays
The crowd itself has run
a million times
to silence for refuge
It still does.
When will the crowd realize
that silence is a foe?
It harbors violence
and squeezes the blood
that waters and keeps alive
the tree of death
that has eternal life
while silence is woman’s refuge.

How To: CREATE A MONSTER
How is a monster created?
By forming a theocratic elitist government
By seeking power and control of global neighbors
By stealing oil and natural resources through violence
By establishing military bases around the world
By developing and hoarding nuclear weapons
How is a monster created?
By recruiting soldiers from poverty,
By dehumanizing new recruits
By teaching and condoning torture
By unleashing darkness from soldier psyche
How is a monster created?
By allowing biased corporate media propaganda
By televising violence and sex
By developing violent video games
By feeding empty junk food to our children
By selling cheap firearms
Who then is this “Monster”?
THE MONSTER IS US!

No Moon No Stars
the day when
a white blank screen
a white blank mind
and an empty heart
sit down to dine and
find the food tasteless
the day without its sun
the night its moon and stars
just strong winds howling over
and over on a vast plain

On Running Away
when you step on the floor
when that door opens because of your plea
to be in
when you are in
you discover that the monster is in too
and you want to step back
and go away
running is the first reaction
but soon
it is not the correct solution
it is not too late yet
you make a plea again to enter the same room
where the monster is in
and you decide to confront it
you know that you will be losing in this war
the monster has sharp teeth and a mouth without a jaw
hence it can swallow you whole
without much effort
then you think of another mighty solution
you stand still
then you sit down on the floor
you close your eyes
and plunge on the abyss of your
silence
you know what happens next
the monster is gone.

6: 25 P.m.
it is dark now
another war shall be fought
not between the muslims
and the christians
not the New People's Army
and this government
these wars never end
like a circle of violence
begetting another
violence outside
and inside
us.
this is the war of myself
to myself
on a night that ends
on the light
that comes on another dusk
and early mornings
and noons
and afternoons
like this circle without beginning
without end
this violence upon myself
unto myself
and from myself
this inability to find the tunnel
and the light
at the end
that opening

Some Kind Of Monster
These are the eyes that can't see me
These are the hands that drop your trust
These are the boots that kick you around
This is the tongue that speaks on ths inside
These are the ears that ring with hate
This is the face that'll never change
This is the fist that grinds you down
This is the voice of silence no more
These are the legs in circles run
This is the beating you'll never know
These are the lips that taste no freedom
This is the feel that's not so safe
This is the face that you'll never change
This is the god that ain't so pure
This is the god that is not pure
This is the voice of silence no more
We the people
Are we the people?
Some kind of monster
This monster lives
This is the face that stones you cold
This is the moment that needs to breathe
These are the claws that scratch these wounds
This is the pain that never leaves
This is the tongue that whips you down
This is the burden of every man
These are the screams that pierce your skin
This is the voice of silence no more
This is the test of flesh and soul
This is the trap that smells so good
This is the flood that drains these eyes
These are the looks that chill to the bone
These are the fears that swing over head
These are the weights that hold you down
This is the end that will never end
This is the voice of silence no more
We the people
Are we the people?
Some kind of monster
This monster lives
This is the cloud that swallows trust
This is the black that uncolors us
This is the face that you hide from
This is the mask that comes undone
Ominous
I'm in us

The Bloody Sire
It is not bad. Let them play.
Let the guns bark and the bombing-plane
Speak his prodigious blasphemies.
It is not bad, it is high time,
Stark violence is still the sire of all the world’s values.
What but the wolf’s tooth whittled so fine
The fleet limbs of the antelope?
What but fear winged the birds, and hunger
Jewelled with such eyes the great goshawk’s head?
Violence has been the sire of all the world’s values.
Who would remember Helen’s face
Lacking the terrible halo of spears?
Who formed Christ but Herod and Caesar,
The cruel and bloody victories of Caesar?
Violence, the bloody sire of all the world’s values.
Never weep, let them play,
Old violence is not too old to beget new values.

Blank Walls
it is time to have blank walls
something to start with
where you are more careful with
what to write and
what to draw
you think twice, thrice
before you start your scribbles for
you once drew a cat
and it didn't work well with the dog
which she drew first
you should have talked to her
so everything that you plan
to put on this blank wall
might as well have harmony
& peace & beauty, like the way
she painted her own blank space
with all black colors, and she gave you
an impression of the darkest night
you tried to put some stars and
a full moon to brighten the darkness
of her thoughts, and perspectives
she did not like it
she was in deep mourning, she was very sad
depressed with what happened
when she was a young girl in their house
she set aside the stars and she told you she hated the moon
and you kept your silence and opted to put there the whispers of
wind and the hush of the sea
again she did not like it
the wind made her vomit and the sea made her very sick till
you finally gave up
with the way the blank wall had been painted
and the manner by which she wanted to take it all to herself
you know what was really proper
you said there is still a blue boat on the blank wall
and it is leaving soon finding a new world..... now sailing on

Voodooded Lips
VOODOODED LIPS
esspeecee …18.06.09.
In the mirror of silence
I’ll reflect you lips’ eloquence.
In the mirror of silence
I’ll blush-in by your lips’ glittrence.
In the mirror of silence
I’ll unfold your lips’ innocence.
In the mirror of silence
I’ll savor to the lees your lips’ elegance.
In the mirror of silence
I get psychic catharsis
In our lip lock reminiscences.
In the mirror of silence
I’ll siphon in your lips’ effulgence.
In the mirror of silence
I’ll grope your lips
In abyssal absence.
In the mirror of silence
My lips will coalesce
In your lips’ effervescence.
In the mirror of silence
I’ll be vortexed by
Lips’ psychedelic resonance.
In the mirror of silence
We’ll passionately hug
With sensuous confluence.
In the mirror of silence
I’ll smear lips by
Your lips’ fragrance.
In the mirror of silence
We’ll tie-up our lips
In Monalisian resemblance.
In the mirror of silence
I’ll fresco my lips
From your lips’ brilliance.
In the mirror of silence
My lips will stain
By your lips’ every essence.
I’m voodooded by:
In the mirror of silence,
Your lips’ excellence,
And deluxe luminance.

Too young, too late
A quiet lake beneath the moon
reflects the starry firmament.
The silence broken by a loon
bemoaning his predicament
A lonely loon who lacks a mate.
Announcing he’s available
Please answer before it’s too late
his isolation palpable.
Then once again silence descends.
Frustrated he gets no reply
the mating seasons nears its end.
Perhaps next year he’ll find a mate
but until then he’ll have to wait.

That long silence
After that long silence
Into the artifice of blank presence
A mute, solitary part of amputated being, consumed by time
A soulless substance get going with abstract phantom
Justifying life's narrative...
Who we're, What are we, Wherefrom we are,
At last to conclude,
We came, lived and suffered together.

Blank Page
Blank page leave me be!
Blank page please stop taunting me,
reminding me of what I have failed to do.
Oh how I long to fill you,
to take up your very last line
with creative, riveting lyrics of mine.
Blank page stop harassing me!
I wish to show you my thoughts,
desires, emotions and all.
How difficult it is to answer your call.
Blank page how sweetly you whisper
tempting my pen to caress your paper.
I immaturely expect the verses to flow
then I realize that my thoughts are much too slow.
Blank page so often you defeat me
teasing and challenging until hours later
all that is left is the tiny dot
where my pen merely touched your paper.

Daring JearBear
He’s not the average scared bear,
He’s a bear that really dares.
Dares to climb high into the sky,
up to his tree house as bees fly by.
Bees flying around his honeycomb,
Really close to his tree house home.
He swats them away with his big bear claw,
Then he goes into his house and has a gnaw.
He naws on his favorite bite,
It’s a hamburgers filled with dust mites.
Then he goes to cut some zzzz’s
Then he starts to dream,
of funny things like buzzing bees.
Then he feels a sting,
it’s a real bee stinging his knee.
He jumps up and makes a roar,
he runs out his tree house door.
Jumps down to the ground
and jumps in the lake,
he feels relief and has a great day.

A Circle And A Zero
A circle and a zero
Mistaken for each other
Taunt my mind for once
And I try to flee from them.
A circle has a unique face
And a zero has many.
The wise have ever proclaimed
As they have had to say something.
In a white paper, I draw a circle
But it looks like a zero.
When I attempt the latter,
The former fades away!
I run in a circle of odds
As many a zero chases me from behind.
I sleep under a circling wheel
And the nightmare of zeroes begins to haunt me.
Who are you both gentle images?
Why are you like twins identical?
May I ask you both just once?
What do you want to do with each other?

Give Into Hate
Violence surrounds me
Violence in society
Violence in our eyes
Violence in their cries
Violence it's our fate?
Violence, it's too late?
Violence, no escape?
Violence, give into hate?
Is it human nature to act like animals?
We're all guilty, we're all criminals
Selfish species headed for a self destruction
Violent product of moral corruption
Violence for love
Violence because of hate
Violence, revolution
Violence of the state
Violence, you will find
Violence, it grips your mind
Violence, it's too late?
Violence, give into hate

The Lonely Thespian
This darkness comes over me,
assaulting with stark reality,
like a tree in the field
alone and stripped of its shield.
When the rain clouds have left,
I was a victim of a theft,
forced to be part of a thespian,
playing out my retrogression.
I'm forced to watch myself,
he's forced to burden himself,
a broken lock holds back my violence,
as I cause only silence.
I sit by the river,
and I start to shiver,
contemplating my mistakes,
wishing from reality to awake.
My mind cannot focus,
my heart, eaten by locusts,
my mind feels so alone,
my heart like dust has been blown.
Love for me is naught,
the lady with death's water is fraught,
my friends want to kill me,
fear and distrust have become a sea.
Why is my world full of hate?
Has this been the work of fate?
My failure makes me tremble and shake,
how can everybody be so fake?
This loneliness is my dark cave,
maybe death will make me brave.
