I will make amends with me today,

Unthinkable to live without pain,

I Am From Heidelberg With Its Sugar Bush Hillocks
I am from Heidelberg with its sugar bush hillocks
and cannot remove the memories
from childhood days from my thoughts;
still I see open protea flowers waiting on bees,
with their smell that lingers in the air,
and I am caught by aloes
that fills the hillocks with their orange-red colour,
and in the late afternoons I find the shadows that the hillocks throw
and when the jacarandas in the city bloom,
when the garden in my yard is full of flowers,
when I find comfort at the fireplace in winter
then my thoughts keep going back
and even when my darling looks great-eyed at me
(whom I adore with my heart and soul)
and my friends that visit constantly
I cannot remove the city which is always crowding into life
and although our house of stone and brick
exists as if it will remain eternally,
where it's bordered by palisades like a fortress,
protected by electric wires
when the city's end suddenly comes,
when by man destruction
or a nuclear accident suddenly occurs
I will return to Heidelberg with its sugar bush hillocks.

I’m tired and yawning

The sun is setting and we’re winding down
The time we’ve spent is worth having found

There is More to Life than Love
Starved and famished,
I looked up to him
morsels of consolation
he offered me…
to the inconsolable me?
like breadcrumbs
to a beggar…
The pain goes away
comes back again,
like the everyday sun
shining and setting…
holding my tears
I try to smile
as much as I can…
to make ‘everyone’
happy…
words freezing out
can’t write as before
inexpressive to him,
inadequately so…
Sometimes, I do write
making him feel ‘good’
lest he feels he’s hurt me…
his silence did it all…
he never knew
I would be hurt that bad…
he couldn’t care less,
he didn’t love me; I did…
He was used to the girls
who never said a word
and accepted him,
for he ‘listened’ to them,
so he says…
yet never responded,
like he did to me…
asking me to accept him,

It was difficult…
Plausible: I thought
and so I tried,

Failed miserably

Search for you I do
I know you are present, however you refuse
Deny, you do love
Love of mine seems to have left no impression on you

Night is lively.

Stand on platforms blank looks and note books
Sit in back rows of city limits

Trust Was Taken, Memories Remain
i wonder why i can't find love,
than i wonder if i will ever trust somebody enough,
to ever get close to me,
it don't seem fair,
that i'm left with bad memories,
mostly on how to truely love somebody,
but i can't change my past,
i've been trying for so long,
it just not that easy,
i can't just let it go,
like ppl want me to,
it just not that simple,
it like if i told told you to cut your arm,
yet even though it gone,
you are reminded everytime you look at it,
it the same way when i'm reminded of my past,
there are just some things i will never get back,
but it wasn't my choice to make,
yet i'm suffering from it,
life just seem so unfair,
i don't even know how to see the positive,
the more i fight it,
and remain strong,
the harder it fight,
to remain existing,
i don't know what else to do,
not many understand what i go through,
with childhood sexual abuse,
you feel so alone,
out of place with yourself,
just trying to be normal,

In His Will
Whatever should happen today, to me, along my present way,
While I am on this earthly sod, upon the path planned by God;
When you look behind my story, it is for God’s ultimate Glory,
While I live out all my earthly days, I give to God all the praise.
Whether there’s sunshine or rain, God is with me in joy or pain,
Suffering God may well prescribe, but in my Lord I shall abide,
I may even need to take a bitter pill, as God works out His Will,
But the bad taste won’t remain, as God’s Joy outlasts the pain.
All pain and frustration I can bear, because I know God is there,
For God is with me at every step, while in His Grace, I am kept.
Being kept through every fiery trial, for He’s my God, no denial,
And He will be with me to the end; Jesus Christ, my best friend.
Whatever His Will, it’ll be done, and I will just follow God’s Son,
Who always goes ahead of me, on my journey towards eternity;
Christ showed us real sacrifice, when He paid the ultimate price,
To place me where I am today, upon that Christ led Narrow Way.
Being in God’s Will, you will find, in any place, a peace of mind,
In His Will, is the very best place, being sustained by His Grace,
As His hand leads you along, while He fills your heart with song,
For knowing the last stop will be, your home in Heaven eternally.

When she came to bed angry
We used to talk before but lately weve been fighting
About the stupid ass things
And I dont know if we can come to some sort of conclusion here
Theres got to be an easy way to say goodbye without the pain and tears
